A friend of my who works the circuit told me Black and Hippo are now open but Madahos is still closed. Might touch base with TL about when it might open again.

I walked in this region yesterday at 1:30 h am And it was closed.

An old man told me that the madaho's girls was working in the "greek" (don't got the name correctly, somenthing like Ellas) house nearby 200 pesos for 2 cokes.

That was the only thing I liked on it.

Black was working but seems it closed at 3 h am.

Hippotamus (250 pesos) looked like a dance bar but seems cool place to stay in another chance.

Have no idea how much you guys spent on here but those are the prices given to me.

It has reopened.I have no idea where you get your info from. But! As of last night Madahos was closed shut and it is not expected to open any time soon.

Hippopotamus is open.

Also Esmaralda VIP has closed its legendary location on the 500 block.

If you add all those transactions together, there is an orchestrated move by the authorities to close the biggest mongering institutions in Buenos Aires.

I don't know if it is the Federal Government, or the city, never the less; something is going on in Argentina.

It all started after the innocent verdict in the case of a woman that was murdered (disappeared). She worked as a chica in one of the big houses (outside Buenos Aires).

The presidenta then said that the Argentinian Government can not tolerate what goes on in the privados.

TL.Last night I heard it from the "working girl's Mouth" that Madahos was still closed and that she was at "Hellas" but that it was not infested with Madahos Chicas.

I guess I better go and see for myself?

Arrived in BA yesterday and went to check out the main 3 recoleta clubs. Madahos is definitely closed but all the touts were trying to pull me into other spots as I hit the corner. Everybody seems to think it will open in a few weeks but I can tell you it was closed yesterday at 1 am.

I'm trying to figure out if I should stay at the Ayres de Recoleta hotel. The price & quality seem great. But where I want to stay depends on which Boliches are currently open for business...I want to stay close enough to walk to most of the boliches and ideally I'd like to stay within 2 blocks of them (if possible)...and I see conflicting info on this site so I'm unsure and a bit confused...Can anyone provide an accurate list of what is truly open as of 10/8/13? This would be much appreciated...I saw the maps. Are all those locations definitely open as of today?? From research I've done on this site, I think I'd spend most of my time at Affaire, Shampoo, and Madaho's. Any help will be much appreciated...I'm planning on being in Recoleta from 11/21 through 12/1 and would appreciate any tips / tricks / info you can provide...thank you so much!!
