OK, I've reported on my experiences in Cocodrillo, the apartments in Guemes and Larrea, and the Cafes Excedra and Orleans.

Does anyone out there care? I'm trying to share my experiences because I have learned a lot from this Board. I really do believe in giving back when I have benefited. And I have benefited, a great deal, thank you very much. But I am under-whelmed by the responses to my posts. It occurs to me that maybe no one gives a shit. Perhaps my posts simply present obvious information to the experienced posters and incomplete information to the newbies. Or maybe I want things in the chicas that other guys do not want. Also, I travel alone, always. So maybe I am breaking some monger code that you have to fraternize to get a reply to your posts. On reflection, I have no need to brag; I was just trying to share what little I know by posting here.

So I guess I am going into hibernation mode for a while. That is, I will be hibernating from posting, but I will continue to chase las chicas until I must leave this lovely city. I do appreciate the wisdom on the Board, and apparently this is no obligation on my part to contribute in exchange. Adios, amigos. Muchas gracias. Buena suerte.

I saw your posts. Very informative. I prefer Henry Miller to Henry James. Daisy Miller my ass! Maybe bring a buddy next time you come. Lone wolfing can get kinda old.

Lone wolfing can get kinda old.My first wife's last name was Miller. Not a Daisy particularly. I just wish that James' Daisy would have left the Italian buggerer, but not as much as I wish that my own Ms. Miller would have left me with my balls. My special movie in memory of my first marriage is McCabe and Mrs. Miller: Go die in the snow.

But thanks for the feedback. Actually, I am having a goddamn ball in.

Buenos Aires. The chicas are hot, hot, hot. The weather is hot. I like the museos. Today, San Telmo looked like the Marais in Paris: at least as old-Europe as old-Europe.

It's the Board that is dull, not the chica scene. But El Bored is a little less dull in my eyes because of your post, so thanks.

As my father LeRoy said, "Wake up and die right," guys.

Hey Riverm.

Not sure what you are expecting from your posts. I am sure there are those that benefited from them and so it was good that you posted them.

Sounds like you looking / waiting for some special personal acknowledgement? If so, I feel that is a bit immature or insecure. You posted good information that we can use.

I have often posted my experiences with little or no response. I do not post so I can get positive feedback and reinforcement from others. I post to help others whether they reply or not.

It is funny that most of my posts that have received responses are when something interesting or unusual happened to me-like when I pulled out a chica from a club in front of my 'favorita' who my favorita hates (and boy did my 'favorita' react-in the club! Only did this because my 'favorita' was extremely late) and then lost my wallet rushing out of the taxi with this chica.

Just because people didn't reply does not mean your info was not beneficial or appreciated.

Suerte.

Greetings Everyone,

At this point the discussion in this thread turned to a series of accusations and counter-accusations regarding which forum members may or may not have advised chicas of the existence of this forum, interlaced with comments regarding the posting of personal information about other forum members.

In my ongoing efforts to maintain a minimum of civility and re-direct everyone to the true purpose of this forum (finding chicas and getting laid in Argentina) I have elected to delete these posts and instead summarize the primary points, as follows:

1. This is a open forum, readily accessible to anyone with an internet connection. The fact is that chicas and other Argentinos can and do read the Forum. It's irrelevant who may or may not have directed a specific chica to the forum, or wether the reports herein were translated for a specific chica or if she used a software program or website to translate the reports herself.

To put all of this into perspective, I would point out that the spanish-language Argentine forums are much larger and much busier than ArgentinaPrivate. Just as an example, the Forum operated by bairesgirls at http://www.foroescorts.com.ar/ has 33,000 members, more than 250,000 reports, and at times has had more than 800 members on line. Not only do the chicas read these forums, but the webmasters generally encourage them to participate by creating threads specifically for them.

In other words, there's nothing particularly secret about what's written in the AP Forum, and if any working girl wants to read reviews about herself, she can easily find them all over the internet.

Those of you who may wish to continue discussing the subject of telling chicas about this forum are welcome to do so in the existing thread titled "Discussing this forum with Chicas" located at http://www.argentinaprivate.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1988

Not withstanding all of the above, I created this forum to be a source of information for english-speaking MEN who are visiting or living in Argentina, not for chicas or Argentinos, and thus my plans are in the near future to turn ArgentinaPrivate into a private, closed, invitation-only, password-protected forum. Perhaps then DH can get back to regaling us with stories of his mongering skills instead of his culinary skills.

2. As a standing rule, and there's really no argument against this, posting of personal information about any other forum member is not permitted.

Thanks,

Jackson
