Complete the security bullshit. Find Gate #2, then turn 180 degrees, walk about 50 yards to the end of an unmarked hall and lounge. You need an American Express credit card. The lounge is similar, if not better than any USA airline club. There are free drinks, snacks, computers, tv's, phones, desks, etc. I had to be there 12 hours recently. They couldn't be nicer.

Okay I know this will piss a few folks of but I have a trip scheduled soon and want to know if there is still a smoking area in the main gate area of EZE, just past the shopping mall! Thanks.

Thomas, the good news is yes there is a smoking lounge. It is between gates 8 and 9, directly across the hall from the cigar lounge. The only "bad" thing is that you must first travel thru Duty Free and survive the elevated heart that will be caused by the promotores trying to sell you perfume!

The lounge itself is called "Centurion Club" or Lounge.

I've used this lounge a few times, and it's nothing special. Other than the 4 or so computers, there's not too much to differentiate it from most other lounges. The last time, I used the other lounge that's at the front of the lounge complex, and thought it in most regards it was superior. Only 2 computers, though.

Neither of these lounges even came close to some of the nice Biz or FC lounges I've been to in the US, though. I think the best was at LAX, and was a shared one with Qantas and a few others.

I usually use the Red Carpet Club, but I won't be flying United on my next trip. I have a Hilton Honor AE Platinum Card, will it get me into the American Express Club? And is there an admission charge?

Thanks

Has anyone accessed this lounge using one of the Amex credit cards (with no annual fee) such as the Amex Hilton HHONORS platinum card or is it for use by Amex Charge card (Gold, Platinum, Centurion) holders who actually pay an annual fee for their upgraded service.

You Betcha.

I have a corporate card that earns no miles (why do I give a fuck, as it is my company's card)

I do not think they care what kind of Amex card it is..

Call Amex- they will tell you..

I remember the other Latin American Lounge was located in Mexico City....

I just showed them the card and Voila.

Sidney hit this on the head when he gave us the heads up back in 07.

Too bad my fucking company now went Visa with Bank of America!

Couldn't they wait until then end of the year.

I told my boss he was screwing me out of the lounge in BA, and he laughed.

For that, I will show him no chica pictures this time after I return.

HA.

Best Regards.

You can get in with any AMEX card. I have an AAdvantage amex and they waved me on in.

I found it sort of crowded. So I left. I was at a peak time.

I have an admirals club membership so I went there.

Its a coin toss really. I would go to the admirals club if you have it, but the amex lounge is better than the herd.

United has a lounge also I think. I have not been in that one.

Now, they are charging $50 USA to enter! Avoid!

Have the Platinum AA Card, went to the 2nd lounge within the AA lounge.

Sandwiches, vino, scotch, fruit, and 2 chicas ready to service you. Well everything minus the chicas!

No charge for me. The first lounge was full though, it would have been better to just wait in terminal.

Next I'll have to try the Centurion lounge.

Now, they are charging $50 USA to enter! Avoid!I paid the $50.00 dollars Sidney, but I drank $100.00 worth of Beefeaters, slept like a baby all the way home. From now on that's part of my budget for a trip to Argentina.
