I ran the scene for the disco techs while in town and thought you might want to check out the great BA scene. Do your chica sideways and go dancing afterwards. The discos do not open until 1AM some even later. They do not start pulling a crowd until 3AM.

After pulling one of the girls take her out dancing or meet a non pro in one of the best dance and music scenes in the world. BA has a great reputation with some great discos.

The people are very approachable and there are plenty of tourists to meet.

Mint - Was closed. Heard this could be seasonal - Costanera Norte & Sarmiento.

Pacha - This is where most of the pro and non pros hang. Always a big tourist crowd and thats why the pros are here. Big name DJs and a banging sound system several levels and right on the water. Don't show up too late here or you won't get in. - Consanera Rafael Obligado why La Pampa Costanera Norte. If you can't get in Jet is a short walk down the street.

The Big One - This Cathedral looking 2 floor disco thumps out techno pop and has a cliche crowd. Saturdays are the night here. - Aldofo Alsina 940

Niceto or Club 69 on Thursdays. The main event on Thursdays. TVs and floor shows pound out a wicked evening. Not as hot as it used to be but still smoking. Saturday was drum and bass. Niceto Vega 5510

Wet - Next to Niceto and although as crappy sound system it was pulling a sweet looking crowd.

Crobar - The international name of electronica. This place pulls in the big names and well dressed crowds. Best music in town. Paseo de la Infanta y Avenida del Libertador 3883.

All of these places will charge 40-75 pesos for entry and this can include a free drink. Drinking is not the past time of most of the people in these places and a simple pill of E keeps many of them going all night long.

Check to make sure there is no mega DJ playing that night in case there may be a sell out crowd.

Don't be afraid to grease the doorman a 20 pesos to scoot to the front of the line. A lot of these places pick from the crowd. Flash it in you hand low and make eye contact and bing your in. I have no patience for "fishing" lines.

Have fun and don't call it quits after you have brought a girl home from Suipacha. Head out and sample the night life.

Cheers,
