Is this the thick type of bread, with no sauce?

Is this the thick type of bread, with no sauce?Yes it is. Cuartito has the "deep dish" style, while Filo has a pretty thin crust. Two very different critters. And two very different places. I like them both.

I reco the jamon+fuggazeta.I like the Atomica, if you can handle Tabasco sauce in the tomato sauce. One of the few truly picante dishes in Argentina, although still not so bad to make you really hurt.

BTW - La Americana on Callao, around Bartolome Mitre (other side of Corrientes about two blocks, going away from Recoleta on Callao) has pretty damned good pizza too. Very similar to El Cuartito in style and taste. They also have reasonably good empanadas, unlike El Cuartito (in my opinion - I think El Cuartito's empanada's are rather tasteless)

Grappa (El Salvador 5802, Tel: 4899-2577) in Palermo Hollywood is way delicious, the best I've found. Thin crust, made to order, served on wood boards. High ceilings and classic retro- woodie & clean style Argentine decor. Babe-a-lisious babe watching, well worth the trip, enjoy.

Just my opinion, but Romario's a very good chance for pizza:

They have several franchises in the city, also, in my opinion, best when inside the restaurant rather than the delivery. Big pizza for 25 pesos.
