Mar Del Plata is a resort town 5 hours south by train from Buenos Aires (45 minute by plane).....It looks sort of like the French City of nice--but a little worse for wear (in a good way, though) People are extremely European and sophisticated. Streets brimming with stores (must be 700 internet cafes in the downtown area.) Excellent, dirt cheap restaurants. Nice golf course. Great beaches.

The ultimate place to visit is a bar called Mallojos (unsure of spelling) It is only one block south of the Brand New 5 star Sheraton Hotel.

Tons of quality girls (its like a mini-help, in my mind's eye). Approximately 40 babes all on the program. Mosty 7s, 8s A few 9s, the occasional 10. (Also some 5s thrown in to the bargain).

Starting rate to take the girl out is 150 pesos (girls will always accept 100 pesos) plus two exit drinks.

There are a few other spots in MDP but none that compare to Mallojos.

Is the Sheraton girl-friendly?

Larry,

Firstly, hats off to ya for some splendidly informative posts.

I'm heading to argentina in september for couple of weeks. After reading many many posts, I've decided to ditch RIO (crime scene sounds too heavy) and go with BA and MDP.

Is september too much 'off peak' to pick up chicas in either place?

secondly, is MDP crime free? i'm not turned on by being robbed in the street. can you recommend any good hotels which are girl friendly in MDP?

Thirdly, does MDP have any massage/sauna type places where chicas can be had?

Many thnx in advance.

Answers to your questions

The Sheraton is absolutely girl friendly. So is the Hotel Manantiales. (I stayed at the Sherton in March and had several girls up to my room. The Sherton is pricey however (by Argentinian standards. It is however a fantastic, 5 star (?) hotel, nicer than any Sheraton I've ever stayed at in the states). Truthfully, you're better off staying at Hotel Manantiales. (You can get a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and balcony on the 25th floor looking over the ocean.

On the Plus side, the Sheraton is directly across from the Golf Course and only 1 block 75 yards from a fantastic(!) hobby bar called Malojacos (spelling?).

I absolutely adored Mar Del Plata. Found it very safe. The cab drivers are outstandingly amiable and honest to a fault.

The commercial area of MDP is great fun--filled with energy and tons of shops (hundreds of internet cafes) feels very much like Italy of the South of France. Movie theaters, outdoor cafes by the hundreds. This is in no way shape or form a one horse town. You can walk for miles and miles in the commercial district and be amazed at how pleasant the place is.

The newspaper girls are very cheap (though can be hit or miss!)

The bar girls at Maljacos (!) will drive you wild. Honest to god--I can't stop thinking about Mar Del Plata....

It has the beautiful women of Buenos Aires but in a resort like setting. If I had to choose where I would go next in the world:
Rio, Sao Paulo, BA or MDP. I would rank MDP number 1. That's how crazy I am about the place.

Don't get me wrong--there are areas that are a little run down, the streets are cracked, there are some stray doggies lopping about and because of the argentinian economy the city could be in better shape. But aside from that--it is a wonderful place.

The Beaches are fantastic. (visit the South Beaches) And the girls are stunning. The overall attitude is extremely laid back.

I'm a very restless sort and get sick of places extremely fast. (Was recently in the DR and was ready to get the hell out of their after 5 days of so). But Mar Del Plata was a dream. You could easily spend a month there without it getting stale.

Last note--the regular girls that walk around the city are spectacular. They all look Italian. (They don't even look like latinas) They have beautiful brown skin and blue eyes. What specimens! I would go on a walk about and just about trip over my tongue at the stunning chicks! No exageration. In an hour you will see--hundreds of beautiful girls.

Can't really say what your chances are at hooking up with regular girls. (This isn't the DR).

Are there many girls available in Mar Del Plata during these winter months? Or do they only come into this resort town for the summer months?

LA Larry

Sorry Hulk cant tell you 100% if all the girls are there in JUNE? JULY and AUGUST---I was there in March.

I can tell you that every chica i was with lived there full time year round.

I would definitely go there in the argentine winter.

On the other hand-- i have never been there in the summer but i sense that its very crowded in the summer for my tastes.

Brasil (Rio in particular) had been my favourite destination for years : now, I am planning a trip to Argentina....

All of you guys, know how easy is getting GFE in Brasil : it is plenty
of free-lancers (Mostly amateurs) ; you can get them at reasonable price, 90% are all-nighters and even day-activity offers a good variety of choices.

Beaches are filled with amateurs and when not interested in scoring with them, you can have a good time anyway... drinking, chating, etc..

Rio (But not only) has free-lancers "facilities" like "Help" or beaches in front of "Rio Othon" and "Le Meridien".

To make a long story short : the scene in Argentina seems to be much more professional than Rio, Fortaleza, etc... : now, short time "sessions" are not my cup of tea, but it seems that in Argentina most of the chicas go for short rounds (1-2 hours), especially in BA.

What's your opinion ? Would you recommend to stay in a Hotel or apartment? Have you ever tried Area Vip Escort Agency?

Thanks and Regards

mro:

This year alone I've made six trips down to BA on business. I've also traveled to both Rio and Sao Paulo very frequently on business for the last three years. Even though I travel on business, I still manage to hook up with girls almost every day in both countries.

I'd agree with your impression that girls in Argentina are more pro-oriented than Brazilian girls. Yes, you can find a GFE in Argentina, but it is more readily available in Brazil. And while a BBBJ (which I strongly prefer) is not standard practice in Argentina, it is readily available in Brazil.

Because I've been to both countries so much, I've also gone to regular non-pro discos, clubs, and bars. And in my experience, the friendliness and chance of scoring with non-pro girls has been much higher in Brazil.

This has been my experience in BA. I've never been to Mar Del Plata but have a big interest in going partly because I suspect the girls might not be as pro-oriented as in BA.

As far as hotel vs. apartment, I'd suggest a hotel. In BA, even the highest class hotels will allow guests into your room. As you probably know this is not the case in Rio, where an apartment is the way to go. In Sao Paulo I've also found that the best hotels will also allow guests without a problem.

Can anyone else that has been in Mar Del Plata give me a detailed overview on the scene there? I know right now it is their off season, but I'm planning an extensive trip towards the end of the year to BA and Mar Del Plata and want up to date and accurate information.

ACCURATE information like good hotels that are truly nice with good rooms and importantly BEDS. Good staff, etc.

Good clubs with the names of them, directions, etc. What type of girls were there?

Also, if anyone knows of any other cities that are worth going to near the water that is prettier than MDP. I'm game. I just don't want to waste valuable days in other cities if the action isn't comparable to BA.

Keep me posted. Thanks.

RE: Truthfully, you're better off staying at Hotel Manantiales. (You can get a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and balcony on the 25th floor looking over the ocean.

After reading about all the great tales of hobbyin' in Argentina, I'm lusting for a trip. I'm thinking late November/ early December or late January/early February. Any preferences between the two periods weather wise or holiday/festival wise?

How safe is the 5 hour train ride? By that I mean it's route (considering current economic times) as well as the safety of one's self and luggage. Are the trains similar to Euro trains where you're luggage is overhead and you don't dare fall asleep or it may not be there later? Approximately what would one expect to pay for a round trip train ride compared to a flight?

Where is the Hotel Manantiales in relation to the Sheraton and what star rating would you give it? Any ideas on the rates? 700 Internet cafes? How large is MDP? And by European and sophisticated should one take it to mean that people in MDP tend to dress rather fashionable. And how does this compare to Buenos Aires? I don't wish to be seen as impolite or the tacky tourist.

How would you split your time between BA and MDP for either a one week or two week trip?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts!

Hello from Mar del Plata!

Thank you Larry. This place is terrific. It´s a great place to visit (very European) and the Madajos pub (next to Sheradon) is every bit as good as you said it would be. Thanks again. Guys like you make it easy for the rest of us.

Let me also give kudos to Mayra at argentinago.com. She made all the arrangements for me and they went off without a hitch. She had a nice ride (not a shit hack taxi) pick me up at my apartment and take me to Newberry airport (14 pesos). At the other end she also had a decent ride take me to the Manantiales for 12 pesos.

I flew to MDP on a commuter prop from LAPA airlines. It only seated about 20 to 22 so it sure as hell is no 747 but I still thought it was safe. They said the plane was a Gulfstream J31. If you book this flight with Mayra get an A seat (not a B or C seat). The airport at MDP is not big so I´m not sure if you can book a flight on a larger plane but I gotta believe something bigger than a 22 seater flys in and out of there. The flight lasted 55 minutes and was uneventful.

The ride from the airport to the Manantiales lasted about 20 minutes. The Manantiales is not the Sheradon but it is still a nice place (small apartments) to stay at and a good value at 36 US dollars per night. The Manantiales has two towers (like the old World Trade Center) and Im at the Luna tower on the 22nd floor. Great view. They orginally put me on the 5th floor but that has a terrible view so I asked to be changed and they said ok. If your going to stay at the Manantiales get something on at least the 15 floor or higher. Also, each floor is divided into an A, B, C, or D apartment. The A and B have better views than the C or D.

I checked out the Sheradon yesterday and Larry is right. First rate with a great view of the golf course and the ocean. They quoted me a price of 110.00 US dollars per night. That may have been their gringo rate though. I cant help but believe that Mayra could get it for less. I also checked out another 5 star hotel called the Costa Galana. They wanted about 200 pesos per night. Nice place. Again, I think Mayra could get it for less.

The Madajos pub next to the Sheradon opens at 11 PM but your better off waiting till after midnight before going there. Thats when most of the girls are there. They stay open to 5 AM. There is an excellant selection to choose from. However, language was somewhat of a problem for me. Of the girls I talked to none of them spoke better than a poor english. Obviously, knowing Spanish would be a of tremendous assistance but since we all know the purposes of such places achieving my objective was never in doubt. If you have a pulse and a few pesos you will score and big.

The girl I finally ended up with was a girl who called herself Rosemary. She was a blond from Brazil but she is not the one Larry recommened to me in an earlier post. I do not know how a girl can get much prettier than Rosemary. Her face was a flat out 10 and her body an 8. Beautiful eyes. I would rate her attitude and service at about an 8. She gave me a BBBJ and covered conventional sex (no anal) for about an hour. She then proceeded to give me a great massage. I paid 186 pesos total but that included several extra drinks for me, 2 drinks for the girl, and 100 pesos for Rosemary. GREAT VALUE and GREAT SERVICE. I cant waite to get back tonight as there are several other ladies there that I am extremely interested in. Two days is not enough.

If it is at all possible I will paly some golf this afternoon. The course by the Sheardon is looking pretty good. Temperatures today is suppose to be about 55 and the wind is not too bad.

Notes and observations:
I ran into my first instance of anti-americanism yesterday. I heard a gringo comment directed toward me in a store. Considering the economic situation here and Secretary O´Neils comments I´m surprised there is not more of it. The vast majority of people here have been great.

Toosh!

Hey buddy. GREAT post. That is exactly what I wanted to hear. I especially appreciate the details about the hotel. Can you tell me if the Manantiales has nice beds? What else are the positives/negatives of the hotel. From the fact that you wanna switch hotels tells me that it might not be ideal for a lot of us that are pickier about our hotels.

I'm sure that you're right about Mayri being able to get cheaper prices. I talked to her on the phone the other day for about 1 1/2 hours. She's very, very friendly. Heck, even if I got the exact same price quote from a hotel I'd still use her because you never know when you're gonna need to plan for a bigger trip like this. (mayra@argentinago.com).

Toosh, judging from the price of the hotel i would guess it's probably what a 2-3 star hotel at best?? Keep the reports coming. Thanks in advance! Have fun and stay safe.

P.S. Do you know what the comment was that they said about you? Maybe you were with his daughter last night....Ha, ha.

Toosh,

You get a gold star. Your post on MDP is top flight, ******.

I am traveling the last two weeks of December for a
little mongering. My last trip of this kind was in 1994 to San Jose, Costa Rica. I enjoyed myself and availed myself of a sizable number of attractive young women. However, they were primarily 6-8 's. BA seems loaded with 8-10's ....and that peaks my interests .

So what's my quandry???

1#I'm undecided between Havana,Cuba and BA.
I would be very interested in any of you , my compadres ,sharing your info comparing these two.

2# Which of the three recommended mongering hotels [Artsuites, Designsuites, Etouile} would you guys advise?
[ I know Saint is unhappy with Etoiule's beds. ]

3#Lastly, my Spanish is pathetic, what system/method would you guys recommend ?

Puma,

I can't speak for other members but Mayra (Mayri) is not naive. She knows why so many of us Americans go down to BA. And you know what? She doesn't care one bit. She isn't judgemental and has an open attitude about our activities so don't be shy to talk to her about hotels being "chica friendly" or anything else associated with the hobby.

Rickster,

Havana also peaks my interest tremendously. I have talked to a few guys that have been going to Cuba and they love it. Cuba is more of a 'cat and mouse' type of deal since prostitution is officially illegal there. The police don't bother tourists but the chicas can get into some big trouble if they are caught. You gotta go out and seek the girls in Cuba but I have seen several pictures and the prices and quality seems to be there. The other problem in Cuba is that it's technically illegal to go to Cuba if you are a US citizen. I'm taking the steps needed to try to go legitimately. I'm planning a trip with a buddy in February but I might try to sneak away in November for a few days.

I really think knowing Spanish is essential with a destination like Cuba. There are tons of books, internet sites, etc. available. A good one is located at the link below. Go through the various lessons they have. They seem to be very helpful. I enrolled in a Spanish class and this page has all of the same material we have been going through and it is free. The books alone for my class were over $150 not to mention the cost of the classes. Good luck!

http://spanish.about.com/library/beginning/bl-beg-index.htm?PM=ss11_spanish

I'm not sure if there is a "best way" to learn Spanish. A key component is learning vocabulary. I know some guys that get by in Latin American countries with knowing the key verbs and vocabulary and most importantly the number system. First thing you should get down is the numbers. It's fairly easy to get down 1 - 1000.

What I did after my first BA trip was to enroll in an intensive Spanish class (3 hours each night for a month - after work). I went out and bought all these little books that helped. Go to a bookstore like Barnes & Noble, etc. There are little paperback books like: "1001 Most Useful Spanish Words" by Seymour Resnick; "Essential Spanish Grammar" (same author); 1001 Pitfalls in Spanish by Marion Holt. Then I went to Officemax and bought a ton of notecards. I memorize 30 words each day. I'm up to about 3,000 words but it starts getting difficult once you get to a certain level. Spanish isn't as easy as you would think.

Saint,

As always, your post was right on the money ....especially regarding the Spanish lessons. I plan to take your kind advice.

I must say after reading the WSG archives about Cuba it seems to offer a readily available GFE. That's a powerful incentive in itself.

These are the kinds of problems I enjoy having......too many excellent choices.

Sunday in Mar Del Plata.

This afternoon I played golf at the Mar del Plata golf course in front of the Sheradon. It is not an easy course. The course is very hilly and the greens are sneaky fast. Add to that a strong wind and I thought I did well to shoot an 85 for the first time I played it. The cost to play and to rent clubs was 55 pesos. I believe that was the gringo price. Where they really put the screws to me was on the balls. The wanted 5 pesos a ball and it is very easy to lose balls on this course. I am not a fan of dragging clubs threw the airport so I doubt if I will bring my clubs but the next time I come I will bring shoes and golf balls. Had a great time playing and the view of the Argentine sea was great.

After the round of golf I phoned Mari from the Madaho´s Pub (same thing as Madajos). I got her phone number on Saturday night. On looks she is an 8 but on attitude see is a 10. Her English is not all that good but she is funny with a outgoing personality and very affectionate. She gave me a BBBJ and covered sex along with a great massage. These girls down here love to give massages. Price: 100 pesos. What a steal!!! There is just absolutely no comparison to the US.

Sunday night I went back to Madaho´s round about midnight. The selection on a Sunday night is decidedly less than on Saturday night. Spend some time talking to a girl from Cuba (pretty) but she was not my cup of tea. I finally ended up with a girl who called herself Tahanna (sp?). She had raven black hair and was from BA. I´d rate her face about an 8 but I would give her body a 9. Great legs. Her attitude had to be a 10. Whenever she wasn´t doing a BBBJ or covered sex she was massaging old hank. This went on for about 2 hours. Total price: 150 pesos which included all the drinks from the bar. Great value and great service. When I went to the airport the following morning I was one tired and fucked out man. I am definately going to take Monday off.

The flight back to BA from MDP was interesting. I flew on the same small 22 seater. The wind was really strong and I am sure you can quess what kind of turbulence a small aircraft in strong winds can have. MDP is naturally a windy place so if you can´t handle alot of turbulence I suggest you try booking a larger airplane. I´m not sure if that will help but it might keep a lump or two out of your throat. When we got to cruising altitude the turbulence pretty much ended. Do not let my comments about turbulence deter you from going by plane to MDP. The pilots are good and they are very experienced flying in these conditions. They are not new to it. It was, however, new to me.

Notes and observations:

There is alot more to MDP than just the Manantiales and Sheradon areas. If you follow the coast road north back toward the airport there are all kinds of things to do and check out. Also, Quemes St (sp?) has a lot going on as well. Wish I had more time.

Toosh,

Again, thanks for your posts from MDP. Can you answer a few questions when you get a chance?

1) Did you end up switching hotels or did you just stick with the hotel you originally checked in to? How was the staff there? Any problems at all? Would you stay there again?

2) What was the make up of the clubs? How many girls total were working? Was there a huge selection of girls? Any hotties (9's or 10's)? Were the girls asking for 100 pesos or what was the going rate?

Sounds like a beautiful city. You sound like you had more fun than Jackson had in La Plata. I am all for seeing new places as long as I don't have to spin my wheels wasting time finding the 'talent'. Of course it will be warmer when I go so that might help.

Thanks again.

Saint,

I never checked out of the Manantiales. It`s a nice place. My intention in checking out the Sheradon and Costa Galana was to see if I could get a 5 star at fire sale prices during this time of economic distress here. Also, I am thinking of coming back in February and I may end up staying at the Sheradon for a little bit (if the prices come down). I brought my digital camera with me. I´ll email you some pictures.

The only club I went into in MDP was Madaho´s. On Sunday there was not a hugh selection but on Saturday it was very good. I would rate Madaho´s on a same level as a Playwoman or Blacks. Madaho´s is not as stylish or upscale a bar as Blacks but it definately has some hotties in it. The girl I took out of there Saturday night (Rosemary) was definately hot and she was by no means the only one in there.

Also, just as a side note, I believe I was the only gringo in there. The local guys dón´t have any money for these girls so you felt all the eyes of the girls were upon you when you went in there. When is the last time you felt the eyes of every chick in the place was on you. Not in America.

To me the down side of MDP is that it appears to be a one trick pony as far as the bar scene goes. However, I was only there for two days. There could be more as MDP is not a small town.

By the way, I went into Shampoo late last night. I took out a solid 8.5 out of there for 100 pesos. Some of the dancers in there are about as hot as they get. WOW!!! I didn´t get around to finding out if they were available as I was otherwise occupied

From Kick Stand in Mar Del Plata. He emailed for me to post:

Hey, Saint!

Well, as luck would have it, I remember that someone
on WSG posted that the La Capital newspaper had a
classified section.

I pulled a "UWPhoto crap shoot" and found an agency an
ordered some room service.

JACKPOT!!! Luciana. Blond, maybe 5'5. 90-60-90. Very
nice body. Tanned & toned. A few tattoos. Belly
piercing. Typical insane animal-like session that I
love. Likes kissing. Very passionate, fake or
otherwise. The bed moved from the wall like a foot. 2
hours for $150. This included the tip and cab fare.
Other indie listing in the newspapers list $20 - $30.
Not sure if pesos or USD. Either way, if she is the
standard, a STEAL!

Figured on not trying my luck again, so I asked her if
she would come back for dinner. She said yes. As long
as I didn't screw up in the translation, she should be
back at 7pm.

BAD thing about Mar del Plata. DEFINITELY a summer
place. Most businesses here are closed in the off
season. Was warned about certain areas last night by a
taxi driver. Also told me about a couple of places to
see women. Won{t be able to check them out because I
fly out tomorrow morning. Chocolate was one. Heh
heh....my kinda place. I can't remember the other.
Most of the happenings appear to be on Avenida
Constitucion. When I cruised it last night, mainly
dead due to the off-season. I may come back here
instead of BA to check out the beach scene. Cheap
flight here. $180 pesos roundtrip in a turbo prop.

I'm staying at the Torres de Manatianles. Booked
through Mayra. For 2 nights, $312(more or less) pesos.
VERY nice place. Huge apartment 2-bedroom, yes TWO,
room. One queen and 2 singles. Spa facilities, 2
resturaunts, game room, pub, etc. I'd stay here again.
In the Argentine summer. One problem is that few of
the staff speak english. They DO have people that
speak it but not as many as I saw in BA. The price you
pay, I guess. Room service was a challenge but I
weathered the storm.

Pass on to the fellas please.

Just bought my ticket to Mar Del Plata and also have an Executive Suite booked at the Costa Galana hotel in MDP for December. I'll post detailed reports and will take plenty of pictures of the rooms. Kick Stand is planning on joining me down there. Should be interesting. We also might bring our chicas that we know from Buenos Aires.

This is gonna be fun....Life is good.

Here is the Web site for the Costa Galena...what a beautiful hotel and the suites look great!!!!

http://hotelcostagalana.com/hotelcostagalana/PrincipalCastellano.htm

This is the type hotel that is perfect for bringing a chica along....Very plush and romantic....located on the best beach in MDP. She will love it!!!!

The Iruna or other downtown hotels work for picking up a chica in MDP and taking her back to your room...

Things to do:

Take a cruise of the harbor....my chica loved it

There is a park at the other end of MDP where you can rent horses by the hour...in the off season you can ride on the beach...if not, the park itself is full of large, old trees....nice scenery while riding....

I do not recommend the Aquarium....It ain"t seaworld! 'nough said.

enjoy!

LA Larry

SAINT!!!!

I love you like a brother--but for christ's sake--would you please NOT take any girls down to MDP.

December is the height of the season. You will score a hot brazilian or argentine chica out of Malojos every god-damned night and the girl will service you to the high heavens.

MDP is a much more tropical "anything goes" setting the Buenos Aires (and the going rate was around 100 pesos; if you paid 200 pesos the girls would iron your shirts) Remeber these girls (while pros) act less professionally and after a three hour session beg you to go dancing with them at 6am!

----------------------------------------------------------------

TWO OTHER NOTES (on the amatuer side)

1) Be sure to take a cab to the "South Beaches" this is where all the smoking hot 10s (not hookers) tan their little boxes. The beach (no exageration) contained at least 600 beautiful 19-30 year old hotties--and this was on a cold day in March! I thought I had entered the pearly gates of heaven. Truly surreal!

I can only imagine that beach in December!!!!

Remember any cab driver will know how to take you there. It is about a 7 minute ride (south) from the Sheraton Hotel. 12 minute ride from MDP center....Very safe. Bring the sunscreen and extra towel to hide your erection.

2) There is a strip of regular bars/clubs up the block and around the corner from Malajos (the hobby bar)--these amatuer bars and clubs contain some of the hottest rich kids from MDP--fuckin drop dead incredible chicas--with blond hair dressed in Ralph Lauren.... I remember remarking that this strip of clubs was like being in Greenwich CT--that's how scrubbed clean and rich these kids (18-29) all looked.....VERY SAFE and fun--kids all over the streets, cars cruising by slowly blasting music--BUT ONCE AGAIN--the quality of the individuals is so high--that it is not like Daytona Beach American White trash....You will be amazed by the class of these people.

So--if you want to experince this amazing scene--you must go to this section (3 minute walking distance from the Sheraton Hotel).......THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THIS IN THE CENTER, COMMERCIAL SECTION OF MDP. This is the real deal where the local kids go. When I was there I found everyone to be extremely friendly.

And who knows? You might hit the jack pot!

ADIOS!

L.A. Larry,

Thanks for the advice. Odds are I'll just go without a chica. Kick Stand from the board is meeting me in Mar Del Plata. The trooper that he is....he is flying into Rio (couldn't get a frequent flyer ticket to Buenos Aires for the high season), then flying to Buenos Aires, then flying to Mar Del Plata to meet me. Holy sh*t this is gonna be good!

Ok, so you have me convinced NOT to bring a BA girl with me to Mar Del Plata. I'll try to post daily "live reports" from Mar Del Plata. I hear the scene there is unreal during December. The weather will be nice and warm and I'm sure the chicas will be dressed oh so hot.

I've had good luck conversing with the normal chicas in Argentina. I've generally stayed away because the pay to play girls are so damn quick and easy. No muss....no fuss. But I might explore the normal chicas too and see what I can muster up. My spanish is getting better each week. I still talk to chicas I met in BA on the phone and online everyday which helps.

It's a done deal. Already got my tickets to Buenos Aires and Mayri (my travel agent) has already booked the tickets for both Kick Stand and I to go to Mar Del Plata on December 26th. So while all you poor souls are spending time opening presents and looking at what Santa brought you..... I'll be opening a few "presents" of my own. Ha! Life is good.

P.S. If Mar Del Plata is as good as you say.... I'm seriously thinking of turning my 15 day trip into a month long trip. I'm in the midst of letting my work know that I might be "unavailable" after my 15 days. I'm sure they will be pissed but I guess that's life. If I like Rio too... I'm spending an extra week in Mar Del Plata and an extra week in Rio. (I hope my "cosita" doesn't fall off).

At the risk of sounding negative....I was not overly impressed with Mar Del Plata.....I am not talking about chica-clubbing, since I did not go to any chica clubs during my stay. I had my favorita with me and she would have frowned on such activity. I did not find the beaches or the town particularly attractive....way too tacky and touristy to suit me.....very blue collar...very crowded....I will be interested in your reaction Saint...

Ezy and Saint:

The best part of Mar del Plata is located in the southern suburbs beyond Punta Mogotes, where the wealthy individuals spend their vacations. Downtown MDP (the Casino area, Constitucion Av. and the like) are too crowded and commercial (touristy in words of Ezy), more taylored to the middle class taste (it's like comparing Recoleta to Downtown BA).

One of the famous southern suburbs is Chapadmalal. THere are several private country clubs and commercial allies. Girls are beautiful, although somewhat cocky from my point of view.

Unless you have a lot of friends in MDP, 1 month is too much from my point of view. There are other beaches in the South Atlantic ocean that merit a visit, such as Pinamar and Villa Gesell (130 km north of MDP). These places are more family-like, less hobby friendly but they have a charm (specially Pinamar, with its hills full of trees and cottages). The richest Argentinians usually have a Summer house either in Punta del Este or in Pinamar.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Andres and Ezy,

I always appreciate opinions. I've heard both very good and mediocre things about Mar Del Plata. That is why originally I'm only spending 3 nights/4 days there. There is no way I'd spend one month in Mar Del Plata alone.

When I talked about a "month long trip", I meant that I'm going to spend the majority in Buenos Aires, some in Mar Del Plata and some in Rio. If I added another two weeks to my 15 days I'd probably add a week in Rio (unless it sucks which I doubt it will) and a few days to BA and maybe another few days hitting towns like Pinamar and Villa Gesell that Andres described.

Chapadmalal sounds very interesting. Sounds like my sort of area. Beautiful girls? Hmm. I don't mind cocky girls because I can dish it out just as much as they can. Confidence is one thing that I'm not lacking.

I plan on doing more sightseeing in December. I plan to take a LOT more pictures of chicas and the country in general. I just bought a new digital camera today and a 256 MB flash card. Ha, ha. That should be plenty for pictures and it also takes up to 30 second videos which I plan to utilize as well.

I wish there were more detailed reports on MDP. Rest assured by the time I'm through with MDP, you all will know everything there is to know about this town in respect to the chica scene.

Leo--

Forgive me but I only knew the beach as the "south beaches".

But I assure you that every person, cabbie, hotel clerk, and hooker--knows the precise name and can tell you exactly how to get there.

Remember it is a very short ride from the Sheraton Hotel.

And believe me when I say that there were hundreds of beautiful girls on this beach. Not a handful. Not 30 or 40....But freakin' hundreds.

need some hotel advice from you past visitors to mdp:

from my research, i think i want to stay in the playa grande area (it's a little south of downtown, where the costa galana & sheraton are). it's closer to the strip of bars and madajos, and closer to the nicer beach, and closer to southern beaches. seem right?

anyway, the sheraton & c.g. are both in the ar$300+ per night range (for late dec), and i'd love to spend less (but still not stay downtown?)... any suggestions on a 4* or nice 3* close to the sheraton/parque san martin/costa galana in the playa grande area of mdp?

Leo--

Trust me....The Hotel Manantiales is perfect for your needs. They will give you a 1 bedroom apartment with a damned kitchen and balcony overlooking the ocean for a very reasonable rate (half of what a regular room would cost in the Sheraton).

Meanwhile, your only a miniscule 3-5 minute cab ride from the Sheraton and Madajos.

And only 5 minutes from the MDP center.

The hotel is very safe. And very chica friendly.

Peace

Larry is right. The Manantiales is just fine. I stayed there for a couple days and had no problems. Just get above the 15th floor. Your view is great and not blocked by other buildings.

I've been reading this board for a while now and thought I should post my experience in Mar del Plata (three nights). I found the Madajos bar without difficulty (it is 20 steps outside the Sheraton hotel). I went too late (12:30 PM) and the ratio was not great. I recommend going earlier. Nevertheless, many women were available, and two or three were my type.

A few women who were not my type tried to talk to me. I was polite but after a few minutes just said “no, thank you”. They fully understand and it is not a problem. One even asked me what type of girl I liked and went off to find one (surely her friend, and in the end I didn’t take her either).

I bought two drinks for one woman and had a few myself. We left around 2:30 PM. I paid my bar tab (I forget the total but it was not a rip-off) and made a deal with her. 150 pesos for two hours. The next night she met me at my hotel at 11:00 PM and she took me to some of the nicer night venues in town (Avenida Constitution as I recall, about a 10-15 minute cab ride from the Sheraton) and came back to my hotel until 6:00 AM. I paid 200 pesos since she showed me around town and spent 7 hours with me. My last night in town she meet me at 9:00 PM and helped me with some shopping. Everything is very cheap down there now. The service the second and third nights just got better and better. She spoke no English, but with my 200 words of Spanish we managed just fine.

For the benefit of this board, I asked her the names of other places in town like Madajos. She confirmed that there were other places, but she hesitated to give me a name and I didn't press the issue.

I highly recommend Mar del Plata, but it is quite different from Buenos Aires. Not nearly as sophisticated, but still very nice. If you have zero Spanish, don’t worry about it. Just relax and have a good time.

Guys:

This article appeared today in Clarin, and it's related to links between prostitution and police in MDP.

Let me know if these articles are too nasty, so I don' t post them anymore. Otherwise, I'll continue posting them.

Sorry for my lousy translation. Corrections are welcome.

(English)

It was revealed that there were " businesses" between police officers and prostitutes

Two sargents who "broke" declared the phrase above before judge Pedro Hooft. They also talked about the relation between illegal lotto bet collectors and prostitution in the vacation city.

"To make disappear three people is police's work"; "the cause does not finish with a principal or a sergeant"; "Without authorization of the Police, and especially of the Brigade, there cannot be disappearances".

The authors of the phrases above are two policemen from Mar del Plata arrested in August -along with another 7- in a cause where the disappearance of three prostitutes is investigated, fact attributed at its moment to a character called "the route psycho" who, it is believed, the same Police created.

At the beginning, Robert Shiarkey (43) and Oscar Lizarraga (44) sergeants of the Bonaerense Police, didn't want to declare before judge Pedro Hooft, in charge of the case. But last week "they broke" and they requested to be investigated. When declaring, as of the text to which Clarin had access, both of them involved to police heads and several of its companions in corruption acts. And they explained the nexus between the Police and the business of prostitution in La Perla.

Three prostitutes worked there: Ana Maria Nores (26), Silvana Caraballo (26) and Verónica Chávez (25), who disappeared between July 1997 and January 1998. The testimony of the collaborators also aimed at the former federal public prosecutor of Mar del Plata, Marcelo Garcia Berro (41), separated from its position in August. Judge Hooft discovered that he had a relation with one of the disappeared prostitutes, and he was summoned for the charges of "concealment" and "false testimony".

First Shiarkey (Monday 11) and soon Lizarraga (Wednesday 13) gave details of police collection from prostitutas, thieves and "leaders" of illegal lotto. They involved othe police officers, already involved in facts that go from "illicit association" to "extorsion" and "facilitación of prostitution": the comissioners Daniel Iglesias and Horacio Pastor, and sergeant majors Alberto Iturburu, Armando Aranda, Miguel Valledor, Fernando Santandreu and Linef Ayala.

Shiarkey has four nicknames ("Horse", "Countryman", "Gringo" and "Brush") and, according to what he confessed, some "causes by homicide in fight". He began apologizing for lying in his previous declaration: "the first recommendation that I received was not to send anybody to jail".

According to him, Caraballo had affaires with police officers, and she disappeared soon after one of them left her. "Caraballo did not go away, she was carried away, picked up by the Police. I don' t have any doubt that the disappearances have to do with the Police, because of drug issues because she talked too much", he said. "Iturburu beat hardly the prostitutes". "Chávez was worried and threatened, and she requested Ayala if she could work in his zone. She disappeared two days after", he added.

Shiarkey also mentioned an episode between Ayala and a prostitute nicknamed "The Gallician": "She told him that if he wanted to gain official appreciation and to know who killed (don't remember if Caraballo or Chávez) he told him: a public prosecutor called Garcia Berro". Ayala commented the commissioners and they said to him "don't bother us".

According to this police "In the high seasons, $10,000 to $12,000 per day collected by the police from pickpocketers are distributed from the Departmental to down the command chain". And he said: "As much the personnel of the Brigade as the one of Departmental and Narcocriminalistics went coordinated for the collection form prostitutes in La Perla zone".

Two days after summoning Shiarkey, judge Hoof summoned Lizarraga. "Someone commented that Iturburu carried Chávez forth and back", explained the policeman, and he remembered that in 1998 "a problem popped up due to the disappearances, and Valledor told him that the comissioner had to put the money collected from illegal lotto into Courts custody".

Lizarraga supported the suspicion of Hooft: "Many police offices are drug users; someone with drug and power doesn't care very much about anything". And he added: "Both Iturburu as Ayala had contacts with Garcia Berro. And Chávez went out with the public prosecutor ". Later the police said that, like his repented colleague, he fears retaliation. Shiarkey said it clearly to Hooft: "I am scared that comes some dirty marginal and it hurts my son or my wife, or he attributes me a crime that I didn't commit."

Thanks for the article Andres. I think it's good to keep all sides of the perspective on our little hobby. It's not all glitz and glamour. Prostitution (some of us don't like calling it that and would like to dream up better words like "the hobby") will always have a dark side to it. Many people mistakenly think prostitution is legal in Buenos Aires or Argentina. It is NOT.

Anyone that knows these girls down in Buenos Aires well will discover that there is a very seedy side to this business. Many "independents" are not really independent. Also, even the true independents must often times pay a bribe to someone to keep them out of trouble. That's why I'm not always for paying the cheapest that you can possible pay. Yeah, I would rather have low prices but I never forget what these girls go through.

Many of you think it's 'easy money' for these girls. It clearly is not. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade because I clearly have as much fun or more than the next guy. I'm just saying to keep all this in the back of your mind and be a gentleman with the girls. Have fun!

Here is the latest info on MDP. Spent 3 days there and just got back to BA (missed thanksgiving dinner at Lola!). The breakdown on action is as follows: 1) Madahos 2) Classified section in La Capital (Hit or miss) and 3) Other clubs.
Hands down Madahos is the best place to go. Nice atmosphere and nonpushy chicas. Your drinks are 15p and chica drinks are 25p. Usual chica rate is 100p for short time. I picked a cutie from Brazil (looks a teeny bit like Cameron Diaz) - tall skiny blonde with an easy smile (name:Kelly). Highly recommended. Looks 8 and service 9. She even offered to come in next day and cook lunch for me for free!
There is another club in downtown called Numero Uno. With my zero spanish it was difficult to get there. Many taxi drivers did not know the name. It is about 4 to 5 blocks from the casino. I popped in to take a look and was diasppointed. Most of the chicas were 5 or 6. I left in 10 minutes. Stick to Madahos.
Next day, I took a chance and called several providers from the newspaper La Capital (just for research guys :-). Again, if you don't speak sapnish, it is extremely difficult. I somehow convinced the girl at the other end of the phone that I wanted a chica ahora en Manantiales. After 30 minutes, two girls show up - a blonde and a brunette. I am not into threesomes and was not sure how to handle this. I told them in sign language that I needed only one and sent the blonde with 10p for cab. The brunette (Roxanna) was good - looks 7 and service 9. price: 90p. I gave her 120. I stayed at the Manantiales - has a great view of the city, beach and the ocean. Price: about US$40 per night.
Did not have time to hit Punta Magotes and the south beaches - definitely next time! (Feel free to email me if you need additional info - rajmaddur at hotmail dot com)

The train sort of sucks. I took it once and it made all kinds of unannounced stops. First Class was like third class in f-ing Albania. The toliets were abomidable! DO NOT TAKE THE TRAIN.

Take the bus. Its air conditioned, and pretty reliable as far as getting you there in the said time.

You can also fly very cheaply and it takes only 45-50 minutes (but be warned the jets are ancient birds; ealry model 737s.

I just got back from 10 day trip to Mar Del Plata. A nice room at Mennantiales, graet shopping, sunny beaches...great trip! And I must add two nights I went over to Madaho's were the best thing I decided to do there. AS soon as I walked into this clean relaxing bar, I couldn't figure out where to sit. There were too many good looking girls of all types. I ended up talking to an argentine girl. I was that intereted in her even though she was a good looking with a knock out body. I politely asked her to tell this one girl I couldn't stop looking at. She came over, and I found out she didn't speak any english at all, and my spanish is almost zero. Well, no problem there, I somehow let her know I was interested in spending some time with her. She was like 5'5", blonde hair, with big natural breats almost hanging out of her shirt, oh plus an amazingly shaped round ass. I give her face 9+ too. She was a knock out. Doorman called for a cab, we got in...we kissed like little kids in the taxi, and I couldn't wait to check how tight her ass was till we got to the hotel. I put my hand down her jeans from behind as she was saying something to the driver, well, her tight thong was enough to make me happy and excited about the hours I was gonna have with her. She didn't ask me for the money when we went into the room. She asked for the music and started doing a little sexy dance routine without stripping. She was great at it. She went into the bathroom and came out with her thong and red shirt. We kissed for about 20 minutes. She was on top of me for the whole time grinding her pussy against me all over. Finally she went down on me started blowing me without condom and tasting my balls...I was amazed how good and into she was. Finally she pulled her shirt up and used her big but not over sized breats to stroke me with. I opened the closet door to see the mirror. I put her infront of it and banged her from behind as she kept sucking on my fingers like a wild cat. I thought I had to last this, so managed to make myself soft again to see what she would do. Wow, she decided to blow me again, I kept stroking fingers up in her pussy making her taste my fingers. I was rock hard again. She stated riding me like there is no tomorrow for a long time. Kissing too. I came but I managed to fake it like I got soft again to make her work on me some more, one more time. I run into the bathroom cleaned myself. She had her thong and shirt on with nipples sticking out, wow, she jestured me to lay flat on bed, stood over me, and did this dance sliding her thong to the side once in a while licking her own nipples. I was almost ready for another one, but I still made her suck me for a while without condom. I was amazed she was rushing anything. I ate her very wet pussy with the thong around her ass, I put my cock on the mirror and made her suck it there as she looked me in my eyes off the mirror. Finally she asked me to put it in by sticking her ass infront of me and pulled the thong to the side. I did her and came. This girl was so good.
2 nights later I went back to the bar to try somebody else, I pickeed up a taller beautiful blonde with huge I mean huge tits in a tight white pants on. I asked her to fuck me in the shower, but she didn't go for it. But she gave me the best ever tits fuck of my life.
There is one thing I regret there though. I saw few very young looking girls there dressed like regular girls you see on the street. They look very much like they are very new in the biz, still not knowing what to do. I really wish I tried them. They looked so innocent and I wanted to fuck the shit out of these school girls.
I highly recommed this place. Go there around 12:30, take your time, make sure you wait to see girls when they are standing up(you gatta check their ass since girls down there have great ass to go with long skinny legs), enjoy your drink it's cheap there, feel them up in the taxi, and get the best fuck of your life! Have fun...

The prices that kava quotes are absouletly consistent with the rates I paid back in March of last year....

The thing that I loved about Madajos was the great selection of quality at 100-150 peso prices...Yes, you can easily get a girl out of there for 100 pesos but why be a piker?

Also--to remind everyone--I struck gold in the newspapers with a young hottie who IMHO was as hot as any girl at Blacks.

The rates for the newspaper girls in MDP is below bargain basement. I distinctly remember seeing several ads for BBBJs ("sin preservitivo") for 10 pesos delivered to your hotel--although i never did. (And I'm sure that she would be a hag at that price--but the point is--there is some extremely low cost sex to be had in MDP!)

I am in BA right now and heading to MDP on the weekend. Will report!

Happy holidays!

I really regret that I didn't visit Mar del Plata during my recent stay in Buenos Aires. From all I've read on the forum it's more laid back, less expensive and more semi-pro action than Buenos Aires.

The girls that worked at Madahos in BA told me that the Madahos in Mar Del Plata is smaller and a different scene: In MDP in summer you get chicas from all over the country (in fact, all over South America) on vacation that are just picking up a few extra bucks to pay for their fun in the sun.

I'm not sure when I will return to Argentina but one trip I'm going to make is to Mar Del Plata for the 18th Mar del Plata International Film Festival, March 6, 2003 / March 15, 2003 (if the festival happens this year, as its existence is still in doubt because of the economic crisis).

The festival will give me a dual focus to my sexual adventures. I've been to quite a few Film Festivals in Latin American and they are like swinger clubs, with lots of wild parties and amateur action. Almost everyone (even the projectionists) got laid royalty and for free at the Havana Film Festival and the Cartagena Film Festival in Colombia. I'm sure the Mar Del Plata Festival will be the same.

And in MDP I have the mongering scene and Madahos as a fall back position, something that does't happens, at say an American or European Film Festival.

Looking forward to my Mar Del Plata mongering adventure and appreciate all posts on the scene there.

Saint & James Bond--

Saint--
I'll try to email you today or manana. (My only email account is tied to my job and I know for a fact that all emails are scrutinized--so even though I trust you--i don't trust my firm--therefore I need to set up a yahoo account first, but I will--I'm just a lazy, scattered bastard!)

Regarding MDP---lemme be perfectly clear because my enthusiasm for the place might oversell it. I find it to be an incredibly fun place if viewed as an excursion away from the BA scene. That is, if you have 21 days to spend in Argentina--I would stay 5-7 days in Mar Del Plata and the rest of my nights would be in Buenos Aires.

If you have only 7 days to spend in BA--I would think very carefully about jetting down to MDP--for only 2 nights. It might not be worth it.
I'm at a point now, where I like to enjoy myself in a place. And the hassle of travel and airports and checking into hotels, etc--just isn't worth it--unless I am going to be spending at least 5 days in a given destination.

So--I kinda suggest only hitting MDP as part of a longer vacation. Its not so overwhelmingly, amazingly different (or better) than BA as to be worth shooting down for a two night jaunt.

There are 50xs as many clubs in BA and 1000x as many chicas...I'd hate for any of my fellow mongers to jet down to MDP and then complain or feel disappointed because there is only one quality hobby club (madajos).

[ALTHOUGH--Madajos is pretty dam great since the girls have great attitudes, the prices are substantially lower than Blacks and Playwoman, and there's a damn beach scene for daytime fun]

Anyway--I'm off to MDP right now to avoid the huge demonstration on Friday. Rumor is that the protestors are going to be paid to get violent so as to effectuate the fall of the current president. Who knows what's going to happen? I rather think nothing, not in Recoleta anyway, but I'd rather chase chicas in MDP then deal with a potential state of siege.

Jamesbond--

When I was in MDP last March, the MDP Film Festival was in full swing. Truthfully, it wasn't that amazing. The budget last year was slashed to the bone and apparently was a pale imitation of years past. This year will probably be worse--if it happens at all. My two-cents is that its probably not worth building a trip around.

I will be visiting Mar Del Plata next month, and was wondering how much is the average airfair from California and the average hotel prices there. Oh by the way awsome report KAVA!!!

Badboy. A suggestion: use a web site for airfare from California to Buenos Aires (EZE) and Mayra (see links) for travel and lodging in Mar del Plata. Try www.carbone-travel.com or www.travelbuzz.net for low airfare from the US to EZE. www.despegar.com is another good site with some really low specials from time to time, usually from MIA.

Enjoy.

Report #1 from the Manantiales--

Madajos! Madajos! Madajos!

Last night took a cab there from my hotel--3, 4 minute ride--Madajos was packed with about 30 chicas.

I tried my best to gauge every single girl and if the truth be known--20 of them I would rate no better than a 6--though they were young and flashy--the girls here seem to like to wear florescent day-glow colors, oranges, greens--and with their tan skin, they just look sexy...Anyway--as I say, 20 of the 30 chicas I was not interested in but the remaining 10 were great mostly solid 7s, and a handful of 8s. GREAT BODIES, BEAYTIFUL HAIR--the works!

As I was sitting at the bar--I get to talking (in English) to this professional soccer player from Brazil named (i think) Cinque who said he played in Germany. (Since I don't follow Soccer--I hadn't a clue as to whether or not he was legit, but he was throwing cash around like a sailor--and I liked the guy)

Cinque is a bit of lunatic and he would grab a hottie, buy her a drink, and then proceed to give her a thorough frisking right at the bar. Including inspecting their beavers for hair, tatoos, birth scars, etc....The crazy thing is that the girls all submitted to his impromtu exams. I started calling him Dr. Cinque!

Anyway--things continued crazily in this vein and about 1AM I grab a very sexy shorty--another short girl this one around 5 feet high! She was exactly 19 years of age (checked her ID) and she was a cute as a fuckin' button! She looked like a Latina Sandra Bullock--but with grape fruit sized natural tits that were firm!

I say my goodbyes to Cinque and we part fast friends. The cat was deeply upset that I had to take my leave, but then what was I there for if not to bag beaver.

My girl (Lilly) and I stroll into the Manantiales and I am greeted like a visiting dignitary. No ID check for my lovely. No shameful glances by the night clerk. These fellows are royally freindly.

Upstairs Lily truned out to be a disappoinment of sorts. We made out like teenages, DFK for 15 minutes fully clothed. But the rest of the sex was rather boring. Bad oral skills, and she did not like to get slammed in the sack. She spent her time inching away so that I couldn't really bang her too deeply.

I finally asked her to finish me off with a hand job. But even that she did poorly. Frustrated, I made her stop in the midst of the lackluster jerk job, paid her 100 pesos and showed her the door.

I figured that I would be silly to waste an orgasm on a poor performer when I could always summon someone else up from the Newspapers.

So--thats exactly what LA Lawrence does. I pick up the paper and dial up a few numbers until I strike on a place. The phone girl sounds very young and I make it plain that I want a very young Lolita no older than 21 who gives up the cola.

"No problema mi amor!" she says. And literally 17 minutes later a get a knock on the door (the front desk doesn't bother to phone you in advance for some reason) and I open up to discover a skinny blonde about 32 years old. No fat. No tits to speak of but she has tan skin and pierced navel. Morever, she strikes me as a real New Jersey Bar ***** from my days of college at Seton Hall.

She comes in kicks off her shoes and tells me that she thought I was going to be much older because I sounded old on the phone. Turns out she was the one I was speaking to on the phone--she is a freelancer with a 7 year old son.

To make a long story short. We hit the bedroom. She gives exceptional head. Yes--indeed a fantastic hummer and she handled the shlong like she has one of her own. A consumate professional dick sucker. She should give courses in it. That's how great she slobs the knob.

I throw on a condom and bang in various positions before finally taking a "stab" at her rear end. She reaches over for her own lube and then gives me the okay to continue. I slide it in and proceed to hammer to stuffing out of her anus. Ironically she made more noise when I was jamming her beaver. And the fact that she doesn't even seem to feel me--makes me a tad miffed--I want her to emote a little--I want to hear her squeel in pain/pleasure from this anal throbbing that I am applying. But she's a silent as clam. So I flip her over onto her back and now--face to face--but still in her ass--I start in full bore and really deliver it. All out, no holds barred ass f-ing. Now she starts to hum. And the craziest thing happens. The girl has an orgasm. This is the very first time of my taking girls in the ass that one actually had a real live orgasm (I'd estimate that over the last 20 years of huming--I've canned about 20-25 girls--none of which ever orgasmed!)

Go figure..

Oh yeah-- the damege for 2 hours of fun.

70 pesos!

More later.

LAL, could you please give some details on Madajo pricing - how much for:

door

exit fee / chica drinks
going rate for chicas

BTW, nice story/post - what time did you arrive?

I arrive in MDP Dec-27, staying at Manantiales - will you still be there?

leo--

I am heading back to BA on the 26th (flying)

Madahos doesnt charge an entrance fee persay but it amounts to the same thing. You can't leave without buying two drinks or spending 10 pesos. Not that that is ever an issue for me.

All girls ask for 150 pesos for a couple of rounds. Most will accept 100 but then will specify the time limit.

The hat check girl sells condoms.

And the bartender is a very nice dude.

Enjoy the scene--I love the club. And lastly I'll say that the action/chicas vary greatly each night--which I love. THat is--you can always expect to find a gaggle of new girls working each night!

In the words of Saint--life is good!

LAL,

excellent follow up details, thanks.

i'll be back in b.a. on the 29th or 30th, for a few more days/nights before heading back to the homeland - hope we hook up as i'll likely spend some time meeting up with some of the regulars here.

well gentlemen, expect a nice report here after the new years...

Ouch!

LA Larry got bit by the love bug!

Hooked up with a 26 year old non-professional chica at a gym in Downtown MDP....She's from BA, about 6 on the scale but with one distinguishing quality (actually 2) she has a tiny waist and huge, real tits that are need of reduction!

At dinner last night she told me that when she loves a man that she will do anything in bed to please him. "anything?" I asked. "ANYTHING!" she confirmed. I almost fell off my chair. It was the dirtiest, non-dirty talk I've ever heard. (Why don't American women understand this subtle art of seduction?!)

No sex yet with her. but she may make me change my travel plans....She's in MDP for the summer....I can afford to be very patient because after dinner I headed straight for you know where.

Madahos--
And I took home two Domincan girls (neither one was particularly fanastic looking) but they gave the impression (in the bar) of being cock-starved sluts.

Brought them back around 1am. Went through at least 10 condoms as they would not slob the knob without latex. The sex was good, not great.

A Summary for those scoring at home.

Three loads.
No anal
Three hours
300 pesos....

The younger of the two gave me her cell number and said that she would do anal with me if I saw her alone one night.

Funny world!

well, i am here at the airport in mdp, waiting for a flight back to b.a., with some extra time as i had to arrive early to change my ticket, so i could depart a day early. yes, i did not find mdp to be all that...

i stayed at the manantiales... can not say i would recommend the place... i had many problems, although the staff was quite friendly and helpful in correcting things, best they could. for example, you only have access to a safe at the desk during a 4 hr period in the a.m. or again in the late afternoon. great view though...

ok, on to an update on what appears in past posts:

taxi from airport to hotel, $12 (all prices in this post are in pesos), subtract say $2 if you stay in the commercial area (near constitution or san martin avenues), add another $2 if you are staying at the sheraton or costa gelana.

I WAS SERIOUSLY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE CHICA QUALITY AT MADAHOS! no entry fee, $15 minimum for visit (that was one agua con gas for me), and very very friendly staff (door, bar). on friday night, i was told that there were 60 girls at the start of the night (midnight). i arrived at 12:15, and i did a rough count of around 40 at about 12:30, so figure the real number was somewhere between as i did not see more than 2-3 taken out. none was an 8 (for me, imho, ymmv, etc). to help guage my rating, know that i live in south beach... or i would consider the hottest b.a. madaho or playwomen girls to be 8s or 9s... maybe at most 5 7s, and a lot of 3-6s. i did not take one out. i returned the next night, saturday, hoping that there would be some different girls. i arrived at midnight sharp, counted 35-40, all the same girls as the night before! left solo again. ...the girls are quite friendly tho... a past post called the place a mini-help (as in the help in rio) - ok, a minor league and lesser quality help if so, imho.

the street that sheraton and madahos are on (they are on the same block) is alem st, and it was chock full of very young partiers from 11p-4a. i had little success with the non-pros, as it was a crowd heavy with 14-19 year-olds. i was told that the 20-25 year-old crowd does not show into town until after next week.

as a general rule, i would have to say if you like a happening place/town, restrict your visit to jan-mar, as other months are sleepy/slow.

ok, i am quite looking forward to being back in b.a. tonight! i will make a larger post there when i have time, most likely when i am back in the monger-unfriendly uuee.

ps- if you have any questions regarding other details, maybe restaurants, shopping, beach, costs, etc - i paid much attention to many different details, so just post your email address and i would be glad to help.

Leo,

It is unfortunate that your stay was not all you hoped for. I went there in early August (stayed at the Manantiales as well) and was very satisfied (if you catch my drift). I agree about the view from the Manantiales. Terrific!

The quality of the girls on the Saturday night I was in there was excellant. However, on the Sunday night I was there it was not as good but I still managed to find some good company for the night.

Perhaps the fact that is still the Christmas season has a lot to do with it. I have seen other posts that have said that December is not a good time as many of the chicas are not working then. Having never been there in December (Christmas in particular) I can't say for sure.

Hope you have better luck in BA.

I was in MDP over the New Year period.

I think if you want to have a change from BA, it is worth going and spending some time on the beach but perhaps not worth it for mongering purposes only. The main venue is Madaho and there are just a few gems here so if these are taken, you are out of luck for the evening ! This is a small venue so it is best not to expect too much. Of course, there are other sources such as the classifieds (I did not try these).

I stayed at the Costa Galana - excellent rooms but variable service.

I´m here now. Weather cloudy and humid. Madahos is apparently the upscale place to go as a chica told me there are other places but Madahos is the place to be in MDP. Had Roxana last night. Local girl from MDP very attractive, great figure, D cup, eyes and voice remind me of Salma Hayek. Negatives: not open experimentation, is still nursing so here breasts are totally off limits, kept trying to spend my money, got to the room and insisted on paying first, was too tired to go on after first round, kept asking if it was ok to leave early. Not a repeater.

On MDP itself, I´m told that by March the number of ladies in Madahos will decrease dramatically. The high season will be over and they will return to there hometowns or winter bases of operations. Currently there were about 30 present, lots of 6´s, 7´s, 8´s and a few 9-10´s

Hope this helps. Time to get back to the life.

hefe--

i've posted a bunch about mdp and how much i enjoy it.

here's my take.

if you are a hardcore monger--then stay in ba or go to rio.

but if you are interested in exploring Argentina--Mar Del Plata provides a truly fun weekend escape (I stayed over 2 weeks last time!)

I find the people in MDP extremely friendly and I relished the chance to gain a perspective of life outside of BA.

There are many acceptable hotties 6,7,8s at Madahos. (And if you get there by 10-11pm, you will ensure your success of scoring the best the place has to offer).

The great South Beaches of MDP are littered with fantastic looking girls. NOT as I imagine RIO to be, but more like Laguna beach in California or Malibu.

The hotels arevery affordable. (Stat at the Manantiales and ask for a 1 bedroom suite on a high floor facing the sea)

If you expecting Cannes or St. Tropez, you need to set your expectations much lower. (In that case, visit Punte Del Este in Uruguay. Very nouveau riche there.)

Mar Del Plata is middle class all the way to its finger tips.

My advice of several months ago still holds true--

If you have 2 weeks in Argentina, i suggest hopping down for 2 or 3 days. Catch some sun, relax, play golf, make friends--the Recoletta monger campaign becomes a tad tedious after 10 straight nights, after all.

I agree with LALarry. MDP is a great place to explore the culture of Argentina. I've made friends with the owner of a pizza shop and met the cousin (from Chicago) of the owner of a local desert & ice cream shop. It's so bizzare to see all the 'company representatives' at night. By this I mean the Budweiser, Coors and Miller girls that used to go around to bars to promote their product. Well here they do it for Kodak, Cellular service, phone cards and Pepsi on the street at night. I´ve also been approached by the TWIX girls in a local bar. I have also noticed that not speaking Spanish or being from the US is a definite negative. I´ve come across this a few times. Most recently at a great disco "Sobremonte" on Constitucion. I think it's more the US thing. Also I'm constantly being talked about behind my back... being of asian decent I stick out like a sore thump. Here and in Rio. It's like having the word Rich Sucker stamped on your forehead for almost everything. I personally don´t like it because I prefer to remain low key. If you're of asian decent and a little more outgoing, then by all means play it up and try to use it to your advantage.

One thing you should know. MDP is a summer resort town. It gets cold here in the winter (June, July, and August) down to nearly 0 celcius I'm told. Also my friend with the Pizza shop says that Alem street dies in the winter, so he closes shop for the season and goes on holiday. I'm not sure how many others do so, but I was told by my friend at the Ice cream shop that most of the income for the Alem street merchants is made from late November through early March. This year traffic slowed heavily in February. By the way, Mayri set me up in the Costa Galana. It's across the street from the beach, two blocks downhill of Alem Street and about 8 blocks to Madahos (Up to blocks to Alem. Left on Alem for 6 blocks). I've walked to Madahos and back with no problem. To Constitucion - 15 minutes across town but under AR$10

Long time no posts....Have been working like a fiend in mother Russia.

I am on the ground and will be reporting about MDP.

LA Larry
04-15-03, 03:24
Okay....

If you go back and read my posts about MDP, I have been cautious about over-selling this place, basically saying that BA has a much bigger chica-to-monger ratio which is still true.

However-I gotta a really say boys that on the last two nights in Madahos--I counted over 40 chicas on one night and over 55 chicas on the other night.

The majority of chicas are very sexy looking--average girls--I'd say that they rate on average as 6s. There really are no horror shows. And there are not any perfect 10s like I've seen once in a while a year ago. And yet there are several 7s and 8s. At least ten girls are solid 7s.

The 100 peso rate for Short time (a couple of hours) back in your hotel still applies.

Moreover, the chicas in MDP are much nicer than BA. That is not just my opinion, its a fact. I've spoken with several mongers down here and eveyone concurs. On the whole--you get a more laid back experience here.

The girls in MDP are much more likely to want to connect with a monger staying in a nice hotel. In BA--more and more--it seems too professional a transaction. Not a terrible problem. But not as friendly as MDP.

So--

Come here for the weekend and see for yourself. Its still very safe. There are still loads of chicas on the program. And loads of newspaper girls.

The reason why I keep coming back here is that I always see around ten program girls that I want to nail but for some reason they elude me.

I was thrilled to find an incredible chica with 34DD, 21 years old with smoking hot AAA stripper body that most would rate as a 10.
and a sexy tan face.

I saw her on my last trip but was with a different chica and then I never saw her again on that trip. She reminds me of an Italian babe I used to plank in NJ back in the 1980s. An Italian princess I used to call that one.

So this time (two nights ago) I rolled into Madahos and she was there! I grabbed her immediately and took her back for a three hour session (200 pesos plus 50 peso tip)

Received great BBBJTC and the completion was on her beautiful face. A full blown GFE in every aspect except that she has a boyfriend already and called him on her cell.

Last night I took a chica home and she offered to call her younger chica up for a three-some.

The girl arrived an hour later (after round 1 with older sis) and the girl walks in and very obviously was NOT her blood sister.

Fine with me.

Received a fantasy hum job, sans preservitivo, from both chicas.

The hole night cost me 360 pesos total! For some four hours of fun.

Truly, you couldn't buy service like this in LA.

Yes--you can buy two chicas in LA, but they would never be of the same quality, and they would never provide steller service.

Last night would have cost $800 bucks or more in the states.

Viva South America!!!

Guillermo--

I would generally say: Don't come to MDP in the Argentine winter--only if you have a three week stay or longer in Buenos Aires.

The typical monger vacationing in Argentina will be presented a smorgosbord of santch in Buenos Aires. And therefore, have no real reason to head further South for something that already exists in BA.

The winter in MDP would be rather boring for most.

Although, I will say that Mar Del Plata is a vibrant city--year round and that there are always progam chicas available. I know this for certain--I now have several friends here and Madahos is open 12 months a year and the chica numbers stay pretty stable (despite a slight fall off for three months). But--make no mistake--the weather is actually colder and windier in MDP than BA in the winter--so why bother?

However, to continue playing both sides of the net, If you are like me: 21 straight days of going to monger bars in Recoleta and Downtown BA gets a tad repetitive.

I really enjoy breaking up my BA stays with sojourns to the south. In a few days I am going to bring my novia (a non-pro chica I met in MDP several months back) down to Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.

You only live once. See as much of the planet as possible.

FYI
Just in case you're in Mar del Plata and want to find Madaho's.
I found a Madaho's website a few months back with both addresses and phone numbers.

http://www.madahos.com/home_e.html

Also there is another club along the Madahos line in Mar del Plata. It's been months since I was there but I was enroute from the Costa Galana Hotel for a site seeing tour of all the popular discos on Ave. Constitucion. I believe it was on a street that over looked the sea but from a slight distance. I believe it was between the club, Jazz and the casino. The road did a quick left then right. On the left you'll see a neon sign that implied the type of club it is... My cab driver confirmed that it was similar to Madaho's, but that Madaho's is the best in town. Oh and if you're into shemales, lots of pretty ones on the street ... enough to fool you while driving by in a cab! I think this area is near the train station.

Happy to report that MDP is alive and kicking in winter. Just spent 3 days there. The number of chicas were down in Madahos (around 10 or so) and most of them were 5 or 6. BsAs is a better place in winter IMHO. But if you are staying for more than 3 weeks in BA, you can break the monotony by making a quick 2 day trip to MDP.

I am a little surprised that more mongers don't venture south to MDP. I have been to this little hidden jewel about 6 times in the last two years.

There are chicas here year round. Nothing on the scale or scope of BA, but more than enough to keep you busy.

Furthermore, there are a hell of lot less mongers down these parts. So all non-Argentinos are treated like royalty by the chicas.

Wonder why Dickhead or any of the more prominent players on the Argentina frontlines haven't made it this far.

To my mind, its the final outpost before the continent trails off onto the end of the world....

Very special place!

For statistics--

In approximately--60 total days spent in MDP, I have bedded down easily 45 girls (some repeats, some pros that turned into GFE (no cash on subsequent dates; and 1 legitimate GF who was never in the game and is totally a non-pro).

Everyone of these chicas were as good as what I would find on a typical night in BA; and the newspaper girls down here, IMHO are younger and less professionals than their BA big sisters.

100 pesos still gets you a short time with a chica from Madahos. 200 pesos gets you TLN.

I'm on a plane tonight, but dread the thought of returning to lousy Moscow.

By the way--where the heck is the famous Saint?

OutoftheGame

LA LARRY,

I think most mongers are so overwhelmed by BA they can't think of living the city and might be afraid to go to MDP. I also believe that this time of year with the weather being cold it doesn't enter into my mindd to go to the beach. I spent 4 days in MDP on my trip in Feb. and I think the best part of my whole trip was spent in MDP. The only thing is that I took my entertainment with me so I never tried Madaho's. As far as DH going to MDP I think he's on a tight budget and would prefer to save his money and try to find the ultimate cheap working girl in BA.

It's funny that you asked about Saint, I was wondering what happened to you. I know your stuck in Moscow now but figured you'd still be visiting BA as often as you could. I think Saint has limited all of his knowledge on another website and doesn't have time for us anymore. I do miss his stories. Or his job finally told him that he actually has to work and has to take a break from traveling all over the world banging women.

Hope you stay in touch and maybe some guys will strart visiting MDP in the next few months.

Hey Out of the Game--

Had been out of the game myself for awhile, under piles of work. My transfer to Eastern / Central Europe has been a real catastrophe. I am one who really doesn't like the women of Russian and Central Europe. They are cold fish who do not truly enjoy themselves.

I realize that that is a gross generalization, but after traveling and mongering pretty much the world over (haven't been to Brazil yet! Haven't done Manilla!) I can say with great confidence that the two best mongering experiences are to be had wth South American chicas and in Thailand.

I am perpetually shocked how the girls of Russia smile and seduce all the way up to the bedroom and then behave like clock watching American escorts. Awful compared to Argentina girls!

Years ago--back in the early 90s Prague and Moscow had some great finds. Now (compared to the glory days) its become as cold=blooded as New York City--truly awful. And goddamned expensive).

It blows my mind that people actually enjoy that European scene.

Anyway--since this is the MDP board, I will contain myself to the following MDP report that happened a few nights back.

I met an incredible girl at an Italian resturant in MDP. Really it was just a kind of buffet style place, similar to Sbarros in the states. Anyway, I went in to the restaurant and ordered some pasta. Opened my book (Bangkok 8 by John Burdett).

Suddenly, I notice this blonde eating alone. Talking on her cell phone. Every so often, she can't help to stare over at me. Now its obvious to me that she's on the program. She appeared like a chica that was having a meal before heading off to a club to work.

Very, very large breasts. DDs. Curly Hair down to her shoulders and around 23 years old.

After a while she gets off the phone and points at my book (which has a colorful cover of Bangkok's Pat Pong district; its a crime story, not a monger guidebook) She thinks its ver beautiful.

I take my coffee and join her. We begin talking.

Tells me in no uncertain terms that she is on the program--used to work at Madhajos; quit because of school).

We end up back in my favorite hotel "The Manantiales" and proceed to have GFE sex for several hours. My one regret was that I couldn't convince her to give up her ass. She kept saying, not now, mi amor" But otherwise, it was total pornstar sex. Incredible BBBJTC all over her face....3 collosal nuts busted. Several condoms later the sun began to rise. Her cell phone rang. She hops out of la cama and begins pleading with me to go dancing with her and her amigas--some after hour joint still open.

There aint a chance in hell I'm going dancing at 6 on a frosty morning. (The wind was howling like crazy!) So I make a move to pay her and she says, "Pay me tonight, when I come over so you can fuck my ass. She then begins to DFK and she whispers that I must promise her that I would fuck her ass very hard. And show her no mercy.

Right then I began to get hard again. And she drops to her knees and begins deep throating my cock. For ten solid, sloppy saliva minutes. But there there was no way I was going to cum. So I told her to save her energy for tonight.

She leaves. WITHOUT TAKING ANYMONEY!!! I crash back to sleep for several hours. Wake up at 1pm. Shower. Go into the city and chow. Then return to my room and take a long nap until 5pm.

At which point--the phone rings. Its her again. She just woke up. The first thing she wants to confirm is that she can't wait to give me her cola.

Again--right there--i get full fucking wood like a 16 year old boy. (well maybe the 3AM tab of 100mg of viagra still is in effect).

To sum up, she arrives at 10pm. I proceed to sodomize her full strength--like Rocco Siffredi---she spends the night again, fucking and sucking my dick as if the fate of the entire world depended on it. She truly enjoyed herself. There's no way this could be an act. (I've been with a slew of Russian actresses). This chica was a full blown nypho.

The following morning. I groggily tell her that I have some cash in my drawer and that she should just take whatever amount she thinks is fair.

She showers. Gets dressed. Asks me where the drawer is. (I had about 600 pesos in hundred peso notes in the drawer and If she had taken it all, I would have been happy about it).

She took two hundred pesos. Came back to bed before she left. And began deep throating my sleeping cock again. Not a "good bye" kiss bj. But another 20 minute DEEP THROAT porn star blow job that miraculously resulted in my blowing another nut which she swallowed whole.

And then said "American breakfast"

THIS IS WHY I FLY HALF WAY AROUND THE GLOBE TO WINTER IN MDP!!!!

LA LARRY,

That was a great report, so if she no longer is working at a club how does she get business. I think you should of gone out that morning for dancing. Hell you only live once and I'm sure she would of kept you very warm.

I remember on my trip to MDP we went out dancing and on the way back to the hotel my girl told the taxi driver to drop us off at a beach by the old aqurium. She wanted to watch the sunrise. It was cold and windy, so my buddy and his girl didn't want to go. Well since we all had hung out my girl didn't want to break up the group so we went back to the hotel. I was so pissed, I could just imagine lying on the sand having some great sex while the sun comes up.

Jesus Larry, reading your anecdote almost got me to consider Argentina in the same breath as Colombia & Brasil, almost. I TOTALLY relate to your comments regarding traveling across the World during summer in search of winter (for the chicas).

As a Surfer, MDP has long been on my radar and offseason is the time of big waves and small crowds (I KNOW it is cold but I live & surf Northern California in winter so . . .). But I was under the impression (misimpression) that chica scene was deadsville too during the Austral winter. HMMM. Was thinking about transiting Rio (AGAIN) on the way to snowboarding in Portillo, Chile, but Bariloche & Las Lenas are intriguing as well (and Chile now charges US citizens $100 for entry-same as we charge them to apply for US visas). BA, MDP & Bariloche sounds like an appealing winter trip if there is some action (or if you'd share that blonde's phone number, I'd trade SEVERAL numbers of hotties I know in Rio or Cali for it). Email me @ XTNsurfer@hotmail.com.

LA Larry, excellent report. It's great to see some nice gems in out of the way places talked about. Sometimes it seems that people don't want to tell about their "secrets", and how can we find out these cool places/chicas?

How far is MDP from BA? Bus, train, plane?

OutoftheGame
07-29-03, 07:45
JC,

MDP is 5 hours by train and about 45 min by plane. I don't know the cost by train but a plane ticket is around $160 pesos. Unless you have alot of time to kill I would take the plane. Flights depart everyday and you leave out of the airport right in the city not EZE so it is very quick and not croweded.

Maddur

JC,
I took the bus to MDP this time just for the experience - was not bad at all (though 5 hours is a little long). The buses are very comfortable and the cost one way is around 40 pesos. It is usually a double decker bus and if you sit on the top front, you can take in the pampas in all its glory !

LA Larry
08-03-03, 16:45
Please allow me to set the record straight about travel from BA to MDP.

Please, please, please follow my advice and NEVER take the train. The service is awful and extremely unreliable. The cars are not air conditioned, they are filthy and the trip is rarely 5 hours but closer to 7...The train will make interminable hour long stops in the middle of the pampas. And you will gaze furiously out the window at cows whilst giant flies buzz about your head. I am not exagerating when I say that the trip will remind you of what it must have felt like to be aboard the very first trains a hundred and thirty years ago.

In a word, the train to MDP sucks balls.

If you wanna see the pampas (which couldn't be any less scenic or tedious after 45 seconds you've seen enough of the pampas you over for life) Yes, I have taken the Bus a few times. Its comfortable and modern, but boring as hell.

Best bet is to fly. takes no more than 45 minutes. Sexy flight attendents serve you a coke and then you land.

15 minutes later you'll be checking into your hotel (the MDP airport is smaller than the Long Beach, CA airport).

Think of this way--5 hours in transit is a couple of sessions with a chica.

Life is too short to spend on the pampas.

OttoGraham

Thanks for the info about the train, Larry. I resolve never to take the train to MDP.

OTOH, if I were you I wouldn't paint with such a broad brush when condemning the bus. Maddur obviously enjoyed his trip, and others, such as myself, might be interested in seeing what Argentina looks like outside the bright lights and big city.

It's like a lot of things in this hobby - YMMV.

P.S. And man, I really disagree with you about Russkie chicks. Some of my best sex ever has been with Russkie ex-girlfriends.

Well, I've been on some very slow trains in my life. When the train was still running in Costa Rica in the late 80's, I went out to the Atlantic coast. I think it took about 4 hours to go 80 miles or so. Wasn't too bad, as long as you're not in a hurry. Plus there are usually food/drink vendors who hop on or off.

I think I might take the bus, just to say I've actually SEEN some of Argentina. I've taken the bus two times this year from San Jose, CR to Managua, Nicaragua. Nice bus, and other than going over the border, pretty enjoyable. About 10 hours each way, so 5 hours doesn't sound so bad.

Hey guys, I will be in BsAs for my first time in Sept. for about nine days. Should I take a side trip to MDP or with only that amount of time just stay in BsAs. Thanks for any feedback!

LA Larry
08-04-03, 01:56
Otto--

You are right. YMMV on the bus thing. Perhaps its worth doing once--to get out of your system.

Regarding the Rushkies--they have become (generally speaking) the most mercenary lot in all of mongering. The Russian girls in Moscow are 1000% colder than the girls in Blacks (BA).

Jaimito--trust me--the damn train is squalid. You will feel like hell after disembarking. The only reason to suffer on the train is that its cheaper than shit. First Class last March was only 25 pesos. But then to me, First Class was like a box car with old seats riveted to the floor. DEPLORABLE.

Doc Bill--
Depends on the kinda man you are. If you are in Argentina solely for the mongering seen. And you only have 9 days. Probably you should hunker down in Recoleta and screw to your hearts content.

But if you are also a tourist--I highly recommed flying down for two nights. Stay at either the Sheraton Hotel or my favorite Apartment Hotel The Manantiales. (Spectacular view, terraced one bedroom apartments).

Monger at the one spot--Madajos.

Enjoy the wonderful commercial section of MDP.

Scroll way back and read my effusive posts from last year.

My opinion has not changed. Love MDP, love the people, the cabbies, the hotel clerks, and most of all the chicas.

PS. the beach and the thunderstorms are terrifyingly awesome and beautiful. Many an evening, I've brought a young and lovely girl or two back to my perch atop the Manantiales and watched the sun rise.

Very differnt vibe that BA.

Enjoy all!

Larry,

If you're stuck in Moscow now, it sounds like you need to stop being a monger and start being a normal Russkie fellow. Get yourself two or three Russkie girlfriends. You will not lack for hot quality sex, thats for sure. And better to have two or three, because that way you'll see them only so often, and not every day, so their unpleasant out-of-bed traits will not be around to bother you as much. And when it comes down to it, they don't mind if they're not the only one - as a group they're much more interested in being taken care of by a strong man than they are interested in being the only woman. I know this from personal experience! ;)

-Uncle Otto

Doc Bill,

If it's your first trip, I would recommend not leaving the area around Buenos Aires. There is plenty to do that will fill those days completely. If you're looking for different experiences, try these three:

1) A day in the river delta by Tigre.
2) A day at the San Isidro horse track, going first class of course.
3) A night or two at a estancia (ranch) outside of town.

Mayra or Roxana should be able to point you in the right direction of these things. If you find a nice girl, you doubtless will be able to convince her to go with you on these outings for minimal or no cost.

-Uncle Otto

PS: And please don't be like 90% of guys here and simply disappear without a word when your trip is over. Tell us about what you did and what you saw.

Doc Bill
08-04-03, 16:07
Thanks Uncle & others! I've been in touch with Mayra and she seems very helpful. I understand Roxanna is just for help with the girls, but since I speak Spanish I don't know why I would need her.

And Uncle, don't worry, I will be writing in lurid detail on this board about my trip (and the Brazil board since I will be there as well). I am so grateful for all the good advice I've gotten here, and I'm a strong believer in giving back what has been freely given me.

I'll be in BsAs Sept. 17-26, in case anyone else will be there and wants to hook up.

Thanks again, all!

When does MDP start to get busy? Would November be a good time to enjoy it?

Besides the working girls, are there also good hunting grounds for non-pros or semi-pros? Is the nightlife (discos, bars, etc) in the non-pro world limited to the weekends or are weekdays fine too?

Thanks in advance,

LA Larry
08-29-03, 19:23
Gladiator--

November can be nice in MDP. December January are warmer and is the prime time for middle class argentinos to hit MDP for summer vacation (can get very crowded!)

Re: non-pros, that's a tough call and depends entirely on your own seducer skills in the non-pro arena.

I've had great luck. Met a very sexy non-pro in a gym, and have never given her a nickle. (Although, have been generous with dinners, drinks, occasional gifts. But our relationship is similar to the normal kind of relationship you would have with an American woman).

Otherwise, to be honest, its not incredibly easy to score non-pros in MDP--the same way its easy to score non-pros in a place like Santo Domingo where it seems that every girl is potentially available. Regular hotties will not go out of their way to wink at you in the street. And if you expecting that--then you will be extremely disappointed by MDP.

RE: Clubs... There are lots of clubs/lounges and bars in the same area as the best pro bar in the area (Madajos). You will find some incredible, hot young things in those places. But, at my age (mid 40s) I am shit out of luck. And to be fair to myself, the hotties in those clubs are not thirld world mothers, but college coeds from upper middle class families looking to find boyfriends from similar backgrounds. So many of these argentina chicas have tremendous class and elan. I've seen blondies that strike me as more beautiful than German ice-goddesses. (And you will never see them selling their asses in Madajos or in the newspaper ads).

Be that as it may, if you can operate a ilttle, MDP can be a real blast. People are so nice. The city is so relaxed and beatifully run-down. It feels a little like stepping back into the 1950s.

I love MDP so much, I am renting an apartment there from December 18th-January 14th.

I will try to update the forum with links, info, etc.

(still very surprising to me, that more mongers don't chance a trip down for a weekend)

Happy trails--

Here is a short report about Mar del Plata.

Madahos (newly renovated) is a place to go, and with a choice of chicas there, I don't see a reason to go anywhere elase. That place is steaming hot with probably 100 ladies in a small space. Ratio f/m is at least 2/1 which is of course grate for m. The girls are very friendly, not pushy at all and perhaps even more pleasant than in BsAs. Asking rate is $150 hour, which appears not to be really negotiable, at least before 3am. However, $200 for two hours or $250-300 TLN is easy to negotiate. There is a 1-2 drink penalty as usual.

There are many very good looking girls there. I have spend some time with two of them, Mariela and Karen. The latter in particular is strongly recommended - dark hottie from Dom. Rep. - beautiful face and nice body. Very friendly. Got nice dfk, bbbj, sex from both, bbbjtc from Mariela (slightly overweight brunette with nice face and long hair). To avoid problems you may want to discuss oral or other issues before, not during.

On a down side, most of the chicas there speak very little english, and even if they do they tried to avoid it. Good for my castellano though.

Hotel, - I stayed in Madahos booked through Mayra at argentinago. I didni't have time to look for anything myself, although Madahos was a bit steep at the rate of about U$S 100 per day. Beautiful full sea view from 28th floor though!

I have been here for 4 hrs so far and here´s the scoop: I had reservations at the Primacy in town and I was disappointed even though the rate was good, so into a cab and off to the Sheraton for better arrangements at steeper prices. The Sheraton doorman tells us (my wingman Stormy is still with me) that Madaho has been closed for 15 days for renovation and hasn´t reopened yet (shock). A quick stroll by for verification and I did see somone working on the place. Now what? I can assure you I will reconfirm tonight and if Madaho is still closed I will be searching for an alternative somewhere. or I will be walking back to BA ahead of schedule.
The Sheraton seems to be the right place and in a nice area. I had my hotel manager in BA make the initial booking which turned out to be a mistake, but no problem making the switch.
Wish us luck tonight,
MM

Mickey--

That sucks about Madahos being closed.

Don't be shy about asking the concierge about Chica Bars. I also would explain my predicament to cab drivers. Apparently there is another decent place about ten minutes cab ride from the center of the city (I have never been, because Mad. always served my purposes well). Also on my trip last month, I was with my non-pro. And she sapped my vital essence everyday and night. Draining me of the desire to monger.

Be wary of the chica bars in downtown MDP. (The one with the neon Martini glass is notorius for old hags--truly scarey dames in the 50s; some even pushing 60)

I've had great luck calling ads in the newspapers. Look specifically for ads that say Lolita and then be demostrative about wanting a chica who is "muy joven". Otherwise they'll dispatch a 40 something woman.

But as I say, if you persist by asking cab drivers they know everything! And are not shy about telling you.

In my rudimentary Spanish I would say to them, "Senor, Yo quiero ir una 'club' como Madahos con muchas mujeres bonitas. Sabe donde?"

Pose this question to three cab drivers and I'm sure you'll strike gold. THE GIRLS FROM MADAHOS HAVE TO BE WORKING SOMEWHERE.

best of luck!

From Mar del Plata

Contrary to rumor, Madahos was up and running in the evening with about 50 chicas who seemed a little heavier and rather more friendly and outgoing than the ones in BA. The Mouse was working the crowd like a politician the week before elections. Madahos is right next to the Sheraton so it is just a step or two away to carnal bliss. I took home one Patricia for a short session. She was just fine and after asked me if I was going back to Madahos; I guess if you are young and strong you can keep going back and forth all night. The hotel is chica friendly and had quite a few rooms available.

Stormy,

Can you provide more details on Madahos? It seemed like there is mixed review about the girls in this place. If you read what Carpediem and LA Larry wrote about this place you can see what I meant. Ofcourse, no disrespect to any of them. Is there a minimum drink requirement? What is the men/women ratio? The cost of the Chicas? Best time to go to this place? My spanish is not very fluent, would that be a problem in Madahos. Thanks.

TD,

I can't answer all your questions, but I can tell you that if you've never visited Argentina before, and you're planning a mongering trip of a week's time or so, you probably are much better off sticking to Buenos Aires. There's just so much to see and do in this city of 8 million people that going to MDP is probably a waste.

The mongering scene is much better in BsAs than in MDP, which is more like a seasonal resort town.

As for Spanish, try to brush up as best you can; however, many friends who have visited BsAs with me spoke virtually no Spanish and still had a blast. Just because you can't negotiate in the local lingo, expect to pay a bit more for poon. However, prices are so relatively low that even paying too much is pretty darn inexpensive by U.S. and European standards

Thai Diesel,

There is no conflict in the previous reports, aside from the question of the general appearance of the ladies which is of course question of taste.

I was there Friday/Saturday so of course there were more women. They don't charge you cover immediately, but you're required to have at least one drink apparently, although nobody was checking that in my case (or I didn't notice it).

Place opens at 11pm, it's rather quiet before 12am or so.

Some girls would speak a bit of English, but not many and not much. However, they
will understand the basic vocabulary without problems.

See previous report re the cost.

Have fun!

MDP update:
Otto speaks the truth concerning a mongering trip, BA is # 1 and if your soul purpose to come to MDP is for the girls, stay in BA.
Madaho (MDP) is about 1/3 or 1/4 the size of Madaho BA. We got there about midnight & there were about 50 girls (mostly semi-pros I think) waitng for us when we entered (no other men were there), about 60% were Not BA Quality. The girls were; however, very friendly (much more so than BA) and loved to come up to you to talk. More than 1/2 the girls were married with child(ren) and "I think" on vacation with the family trying to make some extra cash. Another large percentage were young (20) and also on vacation with the family having some fun making some cash and doing some exploring. And the rest were from MDP making a living. This is my assessment after talking to about 20 (more than 12 of them with wedding rings) of them after a little side bet with Stormy. BTW. I did try to see if there might be a mother/daughter combo working and had No luck, but the possibilty wouldn´t surprise me down the road.
Access to Madaho was free even though I had a card from BA. I think they charge you a fee when you leave if you don´t spend anything while there, but I had no problem with that. Prices for the girls are 150p for 1 hr (& 1 drink), but I got mine for 250p for TLN (until 11:30am) and 2 drinks purchased.
We will see what new adventure tonight brings, maybe that tall voluptuous cuban I should have grabbed when I had the chance or maybe that mother/daughter combo I´m thinking about. Whatever it is, I will be able to return the sweater that was left in my room this morning.
Until next time,

News flash!

Stormy stays up one hour later than Mickey Mouse! Madahos seemed much more low energy last night than the first night. There were more customers and the same chicas as yesterday.
Everybody seems to be on vacation from somewhere, be it from Buenos Aires or even far to the north. Brought a tall Turkish or Arab chica
back named Gloria. She works out of an apartment in BA. She was high energy and we went out for short time (hour and a half) for 150 plus drink. After one go, she was willing to drink beer and do another round but I could not stay awake and she left pretty rapidly.

The whole issue with MDP is that if it is a low energy situation or you don't see anyone you like there really is no where else to go without special local knowledge. In BA you could head off to Catto or to Madahos or where ever in a moment.

The Sheraton is the best hotel and is out of the city center which is probably the best thing. MDP is quite large and the city streets are packed with people. It is not interesting The beaches are a nightmare of hundreds and hundreds of cabañas rented for day use and packed with people.

We ate at two very decent restaurant/pubs. Pehuen is a meat place quite close to the Sheraton and Pontenedra is a sea food place about a 10 minute taxi ride away. Service was excellent and both were quite inexpensive by BA standards.

There was no hot water in the Sheraton yesterday night so we were unable to clean up properly after an afternoon by the pool.
As a result we had to pay for sex that night! The pool is nice, the rooms have a beautiful view and the air conditioning works.
The breakfasts are so bad that the same food in my Navy days would have caused a mutiny. Reception services seemed to be very good.

It has been a fun change of pace experience, but I probably would not repeat unless I brought my own talent with me on a visit of a few days.

Dances with Chicas--

Let's be perfectly clear here about the MDP Madajos chicas--they are every bit as "sophisticated" and slutty as any of the girls in BA. (Loads of them are from Brazil, Pargauy, etc--just like the clubs in BA).

Say there are 30-40 girls that work in MDP Madajos--at least 8 of these girls are truly hotties--comparable to the best that BA has to offer.

The problem with MDP is that it is a smaller pond than BA--so if you hit a bad night in Madajos--you can't hop in a cab and hit several other clubs until you strike gold.

MDP is great for an excursion.

I've had full blown GFE with the some of the girls from Madajos. I've had average sessions. And poor sessions. Just like I've had in BA.

The prices are cheaper--especially out of season. Say in March.

And Lastly--

the girls are much more relaxed than BA--if you are a cool person, they often chill the entire night with you for 150 pesos (i always round up to $200 pesos).

In BA, my experience is that the chicas are runners---they want to get back to the club. This can happen in MDP, but less frequently.

Happy trails....

Mickey Mouse
01-15-04, 19:38
My Summary:
I completely agree with Larry. I had 2 wonderful GFE, TLN sessions and she was ready to go home at noon and get her bikini so she could spend the day with me if I had wanted.
The restaurants (see Stormy´s review) are just as good, more relaxed and 25 to 30% cheaper than BA.
The Sheraton is the place to stay, but it isn´t cheap and they do charge 30p for a guest. They do have 2 pools (1 in and 1 out) and full facilities, but I will be damned why 1. the room safe can only be operated by the room key (so everyone in the room has access to the safe) and 2. there are 2 separate elevator call buttons for 3 elevators; 1 for 1 elevator and the other button for 2? So on your way down your stopping at every other floor and not picking anyone up. BTW, the breakfast at the Sheraton sucks!
I don´t know what the off season is like, but I can imagine things don´t change much except the number of people is much less so the prices must be cheaper like the summer resorts in the US.
To sum it all up: BA is the place for mongering, but if I wanted to escape for a couple days to a nice place for a day or 2 of relaxation, sun and maybe bring a nice chica that I like, Mar de Plata would be a great choice.
Only 2 days left in BA; and OH, what to do?

How about doing what I've been known to do, extending your visit? As I'll be in BsAs starting on Monday, we can compare notes and you can drill a few more trixies! ;)

Re: Hotels in Mar del Plata:

It appears that people are not very happy with Sheraton, so I'll outline my experience.
I stayed in Torres Manatiales (contrary to my own report that claimed that I stayed in Madahos :)) and that was pretty good experience. Nice big 1-bedrooms. Nice view. Good elevators. Very chica friendly - to the degree that they behave as if they don´t see you when you walk back with your visitor. For those who like TLN, there is a hotel safe which is free.

Breakfast is, well, ok.

Hotel is however probably not much cheaper than Sheraton. On the other hand, it´s just 3 minutes by cab.

For future purposes, I would be glad to hear about other hotels in MdP.

October is one of the best months for enjoying the beach and the warm weather, but it isn't vacation time. However, you should find a good selection of ladies.

Yes, thanks Andres! Which do you think is better, Mar del Plata or Puntas del Este (sp?) in Uraguay. If I can't do both, which one should I do?

I plan on making an exploratory trip down to Mar del Plata when I have some time. I met with an American that also is interested in the real estate market (she owns several apartments in Buenos Aires) and she said prices down there are much much cheaper than Buenos Aires. If that is true and the quality of properties is nice there, I will consider buying an apartment, furnishing it with luxury furniture and renting it out just as I am doing in Buenos Aires.

I'm not sure when I can make it down there with my busy schedule but I hope to make it down there once it gets warmer. I'll report what I find out.

Hey Saint--

Just read your below entry.

You know I'm a big fan of MDP.

But to be fair, its a little worn at the elbows for an investment vehicle.

I love to go down there, because, well, its an adventure for me to travel through the pampas and get even further south on the globe. I plan on checking out Miramar in December.

But my last trip down there to MDP was a tad disappointing. The city looked a little less welcoming than I had previously experienced.

I still would recommend a visit for all those who have yet to go --

but for an investment apartment -- maybe Punta Del Este is a better play.

Just my opinion.

Best,

Saint

I didn't see this message here from you posted a while back. I already did some DD and figured out as an investment it's not too great of an idea. They do have some damn affordable apartments but the problem is that MDP is not a year-round destination. It only has a maximum of 2-3 months high season. The rest of the year is dead. That is not a good play for an investment.

So far most people that have been there have told me that it's nothing to write home about so I probably won't even go down there. You are right about Punta del Este. I have some apartment listings on my site for sale now. I wish I had the money to buy an apartment there. One client offered to pay $5,000 US to rent for only ONE MONTH. I think besides Buenos Aires... PDE is the hot spot to invest in. Uruguay also has a stable history for foreign ownership.

Good luck.

Ive visited MDP about 20 times over the past 3 years (all weekend trips). IMO the chica scene is better than BA. Not too many major bordellos (although there is a Madahos, which I don't like). However there have got to be 100s of apartments, some with over 10 girls. Well run places that serve drinks, etc. Nearly all the girls are young hot locals and avg price is about 40 pesos for 1/2 hour. Just walk around MDP or go to the beach and you will see the incredible amount of stunningly gorgeous sexy girls running around everywhere. Its like this in most provincial cities like Cordoba & Rosario as well. In MDP I go out to dinner and when I get back there are about 10 fliers on my windshield peddling chicas in varios apts (I am a platinum customer in many). Ive also had luck a few times with the nonpros there. The beach is great during summer and MDP is full of great restaraunts, bars, clubs, etc. Everything is about 1/2 price as BA. I went to Punta del Este once, no desire to go back. I know I´m the exception as Punta is a great name and the prestigious place to say you went, but I thought it sucked. I´ll take MDP any day and will. BTW there is also a casino in MDP.

I heard from a friend of mine who lives in BA that MDP kick's ass! What's the scene like during the non-summer months? Do the apartment houses close down, or are they still full of hot young chicas?

Guys.

Are there any short time love hotels near Madahos? I am thinking about spending New Years down there but I usually stay at a youth hostel to meet other young travelers and you can't really bring chicas back there. Thanks.

Hi Marak5,

Your question would evoke a laugh from any experienced sport fucker in Argentina.

There are short time hotels near EVERY boliche in the country.

No need to ask on a case-by-case basis.

And in anticipation of your next question: You don't need to know in advance where they are. Every chica working in every boliche knows where the nearest "transitorio" is. Trust me.

Thanks,

Jackson

Marak5,

In MDP, why stay in a hostel? I understand that you may meet more people there, but youll have no problem meeting people in boliches, the beach, street, etc in MDP. A 4 or 5 star hotel (Argentine rating system) during high season will run you the equivalent of US$60 per night in MDP. And they are chica friendly. I suggest avoiding Madahos in MDP just as I do in BA. The talent in MDP is in the apartments, and they all have there own rooms - no need for a transitorio.

The only reason I would really stay in a hostel is just so I do not have to go out alone. I will be heading down there alone, and I am hoping that one of the chicas will just go out with me to the regular clubs. I want to see the regular clubs there and I'm inclined to travel to MDP in the first place because I'm reading that the chicas like to hang out afterwards or go to normal clubs. I am just a little concerned that maybe Madahos would be dead on New Years Eve since I'm sure even chicas on the program have friends they would like to hang out with on that night. Then if I am staying in a hotel alone I am kind of sol and have to head out for nye on my own. With a hostel I am pretty much guaranteed to meet people to hang out with for that night.

I spent last weekend in MdP, here's a summary:

P4P

As written in previous posts, MdP is full of excellent private houses (privados). Here is a short list of privados.

H. Yrigoyen 2728
Brown 2655
Rawson 1457
Santiago del Estero 3127
Brown 1659
Rawson 3123

Most of these places are located in about a 10 x 5 block area next to the main plaza/casino area. Blocks are smaller in MdP so it's a fairly concentrated area. Just look for the fliers on the cars in that area and also look in the local newspaper La Capital.

Do not go to the "old" dilapidated downtown area near the port. There, there are neon-lit dumps set up like bars that are filled with rough, frightening old ladies. I only went once a couple of years ago but it left a scarring impression on me. I remember that I sat down in one place for about 5 minutes and one of the hags came over to introduce herself and leaned over to give me a kiss. I always try not not be rude or offensive with anyone but reflexes kicked it and I uncontrolably recoiled from the horrific beast encroaching my personal space. That zone is sort of like how I imagine a truckstop brothel would be.

Rawson 3123 warranted a 2nd visit. I went there Friday night about 1am and there were 9 chicas, all of them grade A Argentine quality aged 21-27 years. I would have been happy to nail all 9. The logistics are quite similar to those of Santa Fe 1707 in that they have a sitting room where they make the presentations and then have several rooms for your convenience. I had excellent sessions there. Although private, there is a stand up bar in the presentation area. Unlike BA, there are sometimes other mongers in the sitting room during the presentation. It seems like nobody has anything to hide in MdP. The service and attention are very professional, like being at a good restaurant except for what's being served.

Most of the privados are open 24/7. But during the day, the selection is 3-4 chicas compared with 8-10 at night. I usually phone first.

PRICES
I was very surprised that prices have gone up in MdP since my last visit close to a year ago. Rawson 3123 was p60 for a half hour. Most other privados are still relatively cheap at p40 (used to be p30). A meal with wine at a good parrilla there cost me about p45, which is about 30% more than in Capital. Even taxis seemed more expensive than in BA. Go figure, it is low season and the economy of MdP makes the economy of BA look like Silicon Valley in the late 90s.

SECURITY
I sense that security is more of an issue in MdP than in BA. One possible cause is that MdP supposedly has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. I get more warnings there from locals to be careful on the street, but I've never had a problem. My 4-star hotel puts a 2-by-4 between the double door handles after about 11pm and they also have a security guard. I get the impression that the local provincial police are even shadier than the CF police. One time I was shooting pool with a guy who had just gotten out of prison for armed robbery. We were leaving the bar at the same time and a police truck (a Hilux that they all use down there) was passing by. The police stopped and they were very chummy with my new ex-convict buddy, kissing each other like Argentine men often do. That seemed kind of odd. Partners in crime I guess.

REGULAR HANGOUTS
There are good bars scattered throughout the city, but three main drags exist – Guemes, Alem, and Constitucion. The latter contains more club / dance places. I went to Sobremonte on Constitucion on Friday. It's pretty cool place that has several separate areas – club/dance, bar, rock, techno, salsa, etc. The crowd was good with a relatively broad age range. Chocolate is closeby and is not bad on Saturdays; Friday is teenager night there. Although my away record is not very good, I've pulled a couple local chicas out of the bars during prior visits. One splendid afternoon, I met a chica (basically she fell into my lap) on the beach and I nailed her about 2 hours and 1 pizza later. I even went a little bit "Gacy" on her! I had to get another hotel room as I was leaving that day and had already checked out. There was something peculiar about this girl; due to her speech, name, and behavior I suspect that she may have been an unorthodox Gypsy. I read that MdP has one of the largest Gypsy populations in the country.

DAYTIME (all 3 hours of it)
According to many Argentines and guidebooks, there are several interesting historical sites, points of interest, theaters, walking districts, shopping centers, museums, civic centers, and cultural activities in MdP. I'm generally not into that sort of thing. I do like the outdoors though. If you're in MdP in Jan-Feb, everything revolves around the beach. I've never seen so many stunningly sexy chicas running around in butt-floss anywhere on the planet as I see on the beach in MdP. Nowhere even comes close, but I bet that the lake area in Cordoba is very good during summer. Prague, if it had a beach, might qualify as a very distant third. Other natural spectacles are the wide-open coastal stretch between MdP and Miramar (about 40 roadway clicks to the south), the pine forests nearby and the beerhauses within them, and the lakes/hills to the north.

CONCLUSION
In 3 days and 3 nights, I could not find Amstel Light anywhere in Mar Del Plata. Avoid this place.

BAD APPLE

I should mention that I had a scary experience in the good monger zone. Just having arrived to MdP on Friday afternoon, I went out to get some tail. I had a long inventory of privados from prior visits, some of which I included in my aforementioned list. Most of these places have been around for years, but obviously some places close or change. This particular privado was on approx Rawson 2400. I walked in about 5pm (didn't call before going) and immediately didn't like the place. It was way too dark and the decor seemed satanic. I was taken to the presentation room and couldn't see anything. The madam asked me "what do you want, girls?" That was a very ominous sign - what the hell else would I be looking for? A couple girls (I guess, I couldn't see jack) came in and I said that I needed more light. Then the apparent ringleader appeared, whom I assume was also on the program. It was a mean and rather large transvestite. I told it that I couldn't see anything and it was very annoyed. It said fine, we'll make the presentations in the bathroom where there is light. At this point I was ready to make a run for it. After huffing and puffing, it asked me what the problem was. I mentioned the light again and also said, as tactfully as possible, that I like places with girls, ALL of them girls. It became irate and called me an "estupido barbaro" (more or less a fuxcking idiot) I told it that it was right, I am a fuxcking idiot, and I luckily made it out the door, which it slammed hard upon my escape. I'm sure I would have avoided this by calling first. Clearly, this place changed its target market. I've never had something like this happen in MdP. The few times I walked into a privado and didn't select a chica, the madam apologized and told me to come back later when there would be more chicas. That said, don't be alarmed if you enter one of the privados and the "madam" is a guy (not a transvestite). I've been to many privados in MdP in which a guy was in charge. It's normal there.

Thank you. I want to go there in November and December. Do you have any info on Pinamar or Villa Gesell? Any Leffe in MDP?I've visited both places but never stayed the night. They, along with Carilo, are considered to be much more prestigious by the Argentines. They are beautiful with pine forests and expensive houses all around. MdP is generally a middle class city and a middle class destination. The reason I don't stay there is because they are very small towns with much less action than MdP. I believe MdP has a population around 500,000; its like a small Buenos Aires on the coast and has a wide variety of restaurants, bars, boliches, P4P, zones, beaches, etc. I never mongered in Villa Gesell, Pinamar, or Carilo.

I doubt you'll find Leffe in MdP. Have you found it Capital?

I went to Mar del plata last weekend and wanted to add 20 de Septiembre 1317 and Espana 1214 to the list I think both places are called La gestoria. 50 pesos for the half hour 70 for the hour. Nice slection of girls.

I stayed at the Torres Manantanales. Nice place. I hear it is chica friendly; but wound up going to privados or in one case going to an independents house for 100 pesos for the hour (Brazillian chick with big tits)

Boxer,

Check out SteveC 's reports and / or PM him. Based on the reports, he is the only poster I know of who lives in MDP.

My report below is only about 6 weeks old and is fairly extensive. If you're going before Christmas, hotel reservations shouldnt be a problem, but reserve ahead regardless. I recommend hotel Dos Reyes - probably the only "nicer" (translation - more expensive) hotel is the Sheraton. The Sheraton is nearly on the beach, where as DR is downtown which is maybe a 5 minute ride from the beach. I prefer to stay downtown and be within walking distance of much of the nightlife. DR is also very close the the main monger zone. Sheraton is right next door to Madahos, but as Ive stated, that is not a benefit IMO.

I forgot to mention, avoid Hotel Argentino. Its a "five-star" hotel I stayed at once because it was January and nothing else was available. The place is a filthy dark dump. The rooms and hallways are like the upstairs fuckroom area of Envidia.

I was in MDP 2 weeks ago. There are some privados (the list of Moore 27.10.05 is ok) and you can find more address in the walking area (there are man that give you a small "advertising")

I was not lucky, all the privados had a 3 watt light and a very low quality of chicas (I think, I didn't see very well)

I tried some club: in one in Entrerios (just 30 m from the walking street)

I went with a gilr (in the small room inside) for 70p 1/2 h - I was a little drunk.

But I remeber she was not more of 5. Very good attitude.

I want in some other club - everywhere the drinks cheap (8 p for a Rum Cola and about 15 p for the lady) but the quality. From 3 to 5

Madahos (in the Sheraton area) is the only one were I found some chicas over 7 but one of them (I quoted her 8,5 - 19y - from buenos Aires) asked me 300p without possibility of negotiation. I passed.

I agree with Moore about the hotel Dos Reyes (you can find the website adress) but it's often full. There is a great difference of price whit the Sheraton and it's in a better place (near the Casino and walking area)

Sheraton is a little far but is in front a beautiful beach.

Mar del Plata has many cheap restaurant that offer "parrilla libre" (buffet - self service where they offer parrilla without limits) for about 9-10 pesos + drinks - Quality good enough for me.

From MDP is possible take the bus for villa Gessel, that has beautiful beach with dune. In November it's still low season. 2 h of bus.

After MDP I went to Puerto Madrin in bus! Thanks to the "paro" (stop) of Aerolinas Argentinas - 16 h in "semicama". If somebody take the bus I suggest to take the "cama" that's like a fisrt class in a plane.

Thanks for your report Sam. As they say, one mans trash is another mans treasure and viceversa. Madahos is about the only place in MdP that is on my blacklist, like Madahos or Blacks here in BA. Madahos MdP is (or was last time I went 1-2 years ago) loaded with rough Dominicanas / Brasileras with 4 kids and 35ish "girls".

I usually do 2 sessions a night in the privados while in MdP and am always impressed with the quality of the chicas. I always find girls there that look like they came straight off the University of BsAs campus or the local beach. Thats why I keep going back. As I wrote, light does seem to be problem in some privados though.

I'm sorry you had a bad streak of luck there.

This is posted in reference to Moore who was talking about hotels and places to stay in Mardel.

I was living in Mar del Plata for about 6 months last year. It's a very great place for more than just mongering. I have a private apartment there that I am going to start renting out to tourists from January. It's right on the corner of the pedestrian street in the center of downtown (San Martin) and the beach. The location can't be beat.

I am setting up a website to take reservations and market it, but it's taking time to complete. The apartment is amazing inside and even has a Jacuzzi bathtub and the view out the window rocks. 100% chica friendly. The best part (for some) is the use of a local cell phone and a 24 hour on-call personal bi-lingual concierge who can make any arrangements you need, help buy things, etc. He can help via the phone, or will even come help you in person.

Cable TV and wireless internet will not be ready until after the 1st of the year. Everything else is set up.

- 2 bedrooms (one is a living room with a fold out)

- separate climate control for each room.

- kitchen.

- dual washer / dryer.

- 2 showers, in the same bathroom (one of them in the jacuzzi bathtub)

- two toilets (both have fan system) one in a separate area from shower.

- natural light into bathrooms.

- maid service.

- drop a stone from the window and hit the beach.

- central location.

- will have Cable TV and internet soon.

- everything brand new.

I want to get some good personal recommendations for this place. I also want to get some constructive criticism as to what else may be needed. So I am willing to rent this place to people from this board until the end of the year for $30USD per night just to cover the costs. This is going to rent for over $100USD per night after the New Year.

Anyone who is interested, please contact me at reservations@argentinaplay. Com

That sounds cool, I may take you up on your pre-Jan offer. I am considering going to MDP in about 5 days and maybe spending Christmas there. Will let you know on your address below.

Ive almost always stayed at Dos Reyes hotel there and I'm not so familiar with the summer apartment rental market. But I think most are rented for month or half month periods in the summer. US100/night might work for shortterm stays by Americans/Europeans (if you can find them) but 9,000 pesos for a month for a local (which I think is almost the entire market) sounds extremely high. I believe that is more than most Argentines make in a year! I can see in Clarin that the average 2 bedroom MDP vacation apartment rents for p1,600 for the month of January2006, the peak and most expensive month of course. That sounds about right - the average Argentine going to MDP probably lives in an apartment that rents or would rent for maybe 1000 pesos. So p9,000 for your apartment would be over 5 times average price which is quite a premium.

Heres another reason to go to MDP between now and 31-Jan: I just called one of my favorite chicas at 1707 (thats 3 incall attemps now!). Guess where she is?

MDP in January has all the regular local great whoares plus all the ones that come down on vacation from BA! BA gets very slow for about a month starting right about now.

Yes, I am going only for the American / European / Australian market. Basically competing against the Sheriton hotel. Amenities and service and location beats the Sheriton on all counts. I am going to have a 1 week minimum stay. I am also going to have a bike available for free use.

While I was staying a few days in Mar del Plata about 3 weeks ago an Argentinian friend took me to a great house. For lack of a better translation its called " the blue house" and it litrally is that, a blue house, its basically a residential house filled at any given time with about 20 girls (all from paraguay but very hott) just waiting in the living room for guys.

Once you come into the front door, all the girls who are there @ that time will come up 2 you at once and introduce themselfs. After this you make your pick and take the girl to the room, I picked a 19 why / o skinny girl with great skin and a butt you can bounce a quarter off (don't ask me for the name, I forgot)

She will take you to the room where you will pay the standard fee of 60 pesos per half hour, and you get started. I was provided a great GFE session and left after an exausting half hour, no rushing but I don't know how the other girls are!

I highly reccomend this one, and for this amound of $$, take 2 girls for half an hour. I stupidly forgot (crappppp)

P. S. Any taxi driver knows where it is, just say casa de putas and blue house but then in spanish afcourse:-)

Ok. So the apartment is finally ready and set up. I'm naming it "Casa Primavera". For the most part it has been designed for those who read this board (check out some of the features of the master bed) although it is suitable for families too. It is very luxurious and beats the Sheraton in every way. The offer for those who want a preliminary stay is open through Mid January.

Here is a run down of what it has:

- Two bedrooms (2nd bedroom is a living room with sofa bed) with climate control in each.

- Kitchen with Dining table.

- Jacuzzi bathtub with shower inside, and 2nd shower outside.

- Two toilets in separate rooms with outside sink (no waiting)

- Cable TV.

- Wifi Internet.

- Washer / Dryer.

- Free Cell Phone usage.

- Personal bilingual Concierge for ANYTHING you need.

- Best location in the city.

- High security.

- Utmost privacy.

- Unbeatable views.

- Maid Service.

Check out the website for a virtual video tour of the Casa, and photos, and description of everything you would want to know about Mar del Plata. If I have left out anything, you can contact me directly at jacob@argentinaplay. Com or private message. The website address is the same:

Your target market is "Americans / Europeans / Australians" and as an American I'm going to assume that I represent the largest sector of your target market. I can tell you that: 1) the rate of US$200/night; 2) the minimum stay of 1 week; and 3) the "sleeps up to 5" claim are way out of line. I love MDP and have gone there probably 20 times over the past 4 years, always for 2-3 days. Would I spend US$1400 just for basic accommodation for a week's vacation in MDP? Not a chance in hell. I would never be there for a week anyway.

An American can fly (coach class) from the USA to BsAs and spend a week in this fantastic city for less than that sum. BsAs is obviously where most foreign visitors spend all their time. MDP, as a side-trip from BA, is possibly a very distant 4th place behind Iguazu, the Glaciers, and Bariloche. MDP, like most of the other side-trip destinations, is a place where Americans might spend a couple of days but not a week+. And although I disagree with their choice, most Americans looking for a more "prestigious" beach destination will go to Punta del Este, Pinamar, Carilo, Villa Gessell, etc. MDP is widely known in Argentina as a working class place and even looked down upon by many argentinos that IMO have no basis to be looking down on anyone. Most people in Recoleta would rather die than tell their friends that they spent their January holiday with the commonfolk in lowly Mar Del Plata. Its much cooler to say you went to Punta del Este, even though you're broke and that was January 5 years ago.

I just returned from MDP on Friday and stayed at the Hotel Dos Reyes as usual. Excluding a few exceptional hotels in Capital such as the Hilton and the Alvear, Hotel Dos Reyes is probably the nicest hotel I've seen in Argentina. As you probably know, its located about 2 blocks from your apartment in the center, and I paid 150 Pesos = US$50/night for my 3-day stay there (25% of your rate). The only major benefit I see of having an apartment there is having a separate living room where you can hang out, watch TV, read, etc. Basically some more space. From what I see, the living room of your apartment is tiny. As for the small kitchen, it looks very nice but most nice hotel rooms have the same mini-refrigerator as your apartment, which meets most, if not all, of our kitchen needs. The entire apartment looks very small – IMO it is effectively a decent single hotel room with a tiny living room on the side. You write "we can sleep up to 5 people" on your main page, which may be true for Argentines. Americans, however, only put 1 or 2 people in a single hotel room, but never 5.

Also written on the top of your page is "The price of EVERYTHING is about 30% of the prices in North America or Europe". As an American I'm thinking – then why is your hotel/apartment about 100% more expensive than what Id pay in lets say, Kansas City, for a similar room at an apartment/hotel that I know and trust, with no minimum stay? Applying the 30%, Id expect your apt/hotel to cost US$20 to US$30 per night...US$200, that must be an error?

I see that you aim to compete with the Sheraton. I've been to the Sheraton here in Capital and stayed at the Sheraton Iguazu once. That was the only time I remember paying US$ rates here since there are not so many hotel options at the Iguazu Falls. The hotel itself was no better than many 3stars I've stayed in. A brand name like Sheraton or Hilton may be able to get away with charging gringos US$ rates, but I doubt that an unknown private apartment/hotel in a relatively small, unknown city could. Besides, a familiar name like that is comforting to most Americans traveling abroad even if the price isn't so competitive.

My advice is to cut your rates by at least 50% and, most importantly, to eliminate your 1 week minimum stay. I hope that I am wrong about this because if so, I will purchase several of those dirt-cheap apartments in MDP, renovate them for almost nothing, and make an incredible profit renting them out to gringos on a short-term basis. At those rates, you probably recover the purchase price of the apartment in just one year!

In American business (and most other successful economies), you generally make money buy selling decent quality at a lower price but having much higher volume. You seem to be following the general Argentine model, which is to ask obscenely high prices and therefore have very low (sometimes zero) transaction volume.

Moore,

Thank you for the comments and criticisms. I would like to answer each of them. Please see below (I haven't worked out how the quoting mechanism works here so please bear with me):

"I just watched your virtual tour and I think you did a great job. Everything in the apartment looks brand new."

Thank you. It is. Top to bottom. Even the walls.

"Your target market is "Americans / Europeans / Australians" and as an American I'm going to assume that I represent the largest sector of your target market."

Well, I wouldn't say largest. In the 6 months I was living there I noticed a larger amount of the other two. I am guessing it will be about evenly distributed between the three.

"I love MDP and have gone there probably 20 times over the past 4 years, always for 2-3 days."

I hadn't considered that. I expected that most people will be travelling so far that they wouldn't stay for such a short time. But if they are doing more of a tour of the country, then they may spend less time there. I will revise that.

"Would I spend US$1400 just for basic accommodation for a week's vacation in MDP? Not a chance in hell."

Well, it certainly isn't basic accommodation. The amenities offered are much more than you can find in any hotel in the city, especially for someone who can't speak Spanish and comes during peak season. The price is less than the Sheraton and provides more.

"MDP, as a side-trip from BA, is possibly a very distant 4th place behind Iguazu, the Glaciers, and Bariloche. MDP, like most of the other side-trip destinations, is a place where Americans might spend a couple of days but not a week+."

The more I think about it, the more I agree with you. I am abolishing the minimum stay.

"I just returned from MDP on Friday and stayed at the Hotel Dos Reyes as usual. Excluding a few exceptional hotels in Capital such as the Hilton and the Alvear, Hotel Dos Reyes is probably the nicest hotel I've seen in Argentina. As you probably know, its located about 2 blocks from your apartment in the center, and I paid 150 Pesos = US$50/ night for my 3-day stay there (25% of your rate)"

Actually, that is 50% of my rate. Did you notice that the rate is different in the off season ($99 per night not in the Summer) As I am sure you know, the price during the official Summer months is much higher. Actually it is double the price for Dos Reyes. That is still half the price of what I am asking however. In my dealings with the Dos Reyes, they didn't have a lot of help for non-Spanish speakers. And certainly not an on call concierge to help you with anything you want any time.

"The only major benefit I see of having an apartment there is having a separate living room where you can hang out, watch TV, read, etc. "

The privacy issue is there too.

"Basically some more space. From what I see, the living room of your apartment is tiny."

It's not as small as it looks, it's just hard to get the right angles in the photos. It isn't huge, but it's certainly a nice place to relax away from the bedroom.

"As for the small kitchen, it looks very nice but most nice hotel rooms have the same mini-refrigerator as your apartment, which meets most, if not all, of our kitchen needs."

The kitchen wouldn't be of as much use to someone staying 3 days as it would if you were staying a week or more. The main reason I even kept it is for resale.

"The entire apartment looks very small – IMO it is effectively a decent single hotel room with a tiny living room on the side."

That's almost right. It's like a double hotel room with a living room and kitchen.

"You write "we can sleep up to 5 people" on your main page, which may be true for Argentines. Americans, however, only put 1 or 2 people in a single hotel room, but never 5."

This would be for families or stag groups. 5 is pushing it, I think I will change that to 4. But it is feasible. Both sofas open up for sleeping, and they are custom and very comfortable.

"Also written on the top of your page is "The price of EVERYTHING is about 30% of the prices in North America or Europe". As an American I'm thinking – then why is your hotel / apartment about 100% more expensive than what Id pay in lets say, Kansas City, for a similar room at an apartment / hotel that I know and trust, with no minimum stay? Applying the 30% , Id expect your apt / hotel to cost US$20 to US$30 per night. US$200, that must be an error?"

Good point. Perhaps writing "Everything else"? Just kidding, but you can't really compare Kansas City to Mar del Plata. The rest of the page is there to show people the difference and to justify the price.

"I see that you aim to compete with the Sheraton. I've been to the Sheraton here in Capital and stayed at the Sheraton Iguazu once. That was the only time I remember paying US$ rates here since there are not so many hotel options at the Iguazu Falls."

Let me recommend the "Hostel Inn Iguazu". You can get very nice rooms for very cheap. It's more of a resort than a hostel. They have some hostel rooms, but also many rooms with a large bed and private shower. The taxi ride from there to either side of the falls is really cheap. Plus it's next to an animal park with monkeys in the trees. Unless you mean inside the park where there is literally only 1 choice on each side.

"Besides, a familiar name like that is comforting to most Americans traveling abroad even if the price isn't so competitive."

That's true. Many, if not most, Americans are comforted by a big name like that.

"My advice is to cut your rates by at least 50%"

I am considering a slight price adjustment. However, I have already gotten a large response before I even put the page up.

"and, most importantly, to eliminate your 1 week minimum stay."

That's 100% for sure.

"I hope that I am wrong about this because if so, I will purchase several of those dirt-cheap apartments in MDP,"

I spent a few months trying to find one that was not overpriced and had a good location. All the real estate agencies there mostly do exclusive places, so it's a lot of leg work to find the right place.

"renovate them for almost nothing"

This bit was what I thought. But man, things just kept adding up. I suppose that the hardest part is that it's not be. As. I mean any good stuff you want either needs to be custom made or sent down from be. As. The labor is cheap, but siesta is a killer, and then construction hours during summer are crazy. It took 3 times as long as planned and more than double the cost.

"At those rates, you probably recover the purchase price of the apartment in just one year!"

Based on standard hospitality occupancy percentages, it's actually a few years, including the renovation costs (which were more than the apartment cost to begin with)

"In American business (and most other successful economies) you generally make money by selling decent quality at a lower price but having much higher volume."

That's one model, but other is about filling niches. My other business is selling absinthe online. When your market is the whole world, you don't need to be the cheapest, you just need to have something that people desire that isn't widely available elsewhere.

I really appreciate your taking the time to help me out here. I would really like for you to stay there and give it a test run and then tell me what you really think. Please let me know if that interests you. I have a few reservations, but let me know when / if you would like to give it a go and I would love to set you up.

Fruehling,

You are taking advice from a guy who says he would never stay in your property! He questions just about everything that someone here likes, recommends or tries that is different from his own opinion. He does not qualify himself with a bio or extensive experience except having travelled all over South America and not spending alot of money. I was told he was an accountant in his previous life - would you take marketing advice from your accountant? Shit I do not know if he was a CPA or just a beancounter in a big firm. Believe me, most of the WSG guys don't, can't or won't spend alot of money on accomodations - including me. That does not mean your market is wrong. But if you think you have a different market, go for it. If you rent to a high roller who wants something different, you win. Additionally, minimum stays are very popular during peak seasons and alot of people are forced to accept them if they want to vacation in a certain area. What have you got to lose. Remember, Moore is never going to stay in your place.

If Moore wants to chop up your site and give advice on how to do things right, why isn't he doing it himself? Why isn't he successfully running hostels and boarding houses or buying up cheap apartments and renting them out or running a string of retail stores?

I looked at your site and think you did a fine job. If you can maximize your rent, go ahead. What the F*** do you care what anyone else thinks, unless they can provide extensive experience and expertise on the subject. Travelling to a resort town 20 times does not make one an expert in renting apartments. Owning several rentals and making a profit gives them some leverage and validity to their advice. Do your own thing and good luck!

By the way, not too many cheap apartments anymore in desirable locations.

Thomaso276,

Your allegations about me: 1) saying I would never stay in Fruehling's property; 2) disagreeing with almost everything/everyone; 3) not knowing the market; and 4) not having experience are baseless and wrong. I'm not sure why you would write something so stupid but I have a very lame guess.

I haven't "qualified myself with a bio" - what the hell does that mean? Has anyone?

I'm truly flattered by your interest in and speculation about my studies, qualifications, travels, and work experience. I trust that its professional interest and nothing more. I have no idea who you are so I must admit its a little creepy.

Everyone has civilized disagreements from time to time. You, however, apparently attack and slander anyone who doesn't share your opinion, and that is a waste of space on this forum.

I disagree with your comment of "most of the WSG guys don't, can't or won't spend alot of money on accomodations". Guys coming down here have at least the money/desire to travel to and stay in BA, which is more expensive than MDP - they seem like good candidates to visit MDP just 400km south to me. Thats just my opinion and personal experience though.

Ok, I see that you all want a better price. So, I have cut the prices in half. It is now $99 during peak season and $49 during the off season. The minimum stay has also been eliminated. Also, I will be cutting a break to the next 5 people from this board (who have more than 40 postings) who stay and will promise to write a review about it here.

Having a planned weekend in MdP, I took up Jacob's offer of a reduced $99/ night rate on this newly renovated apartment overlooking the sea. A great pad for hobbyist, couple or family. Sleeps 4 easily. You must like people (at least in high season, Dec. – Feb. As it is located right in the middle of the action (walking streets, shopping, beach, cafes, wine shops, etc. No need for a car as a short taxi ride will get you to the Disco zone on Constitucion or to Madahos. As for the apartment itself, it's about 40 sq meters with a great view of the beach and sea from the fifth floor. Great sunrises as the bedroom faces directly east. The best part is the personal concierge service by Miquel who has been a long term resident of MdP. His good English skills take any worry out of going to this adventure location. He booked reservations at the best restaurants including contact names for superior service. (the best steak dinner for $7) All-in-all, everything was as-billed, very enjoyable. I only wish I had more time!

Cab driver took me to this house in a residential area. There were already 2 cabs there when I arrived. About 4 guys already inside deciding. 60 pesos for half an hour and 90 pesos for the hour. About 10 girls mostly Paraguayans. Chose Patricia, blonde spinner type. Take a good look when they first introduce themselves with a peck on the cheek as its dark in there. Everything covered, mirrors in front and above the bed for your viewing pleasure. Patricia sucked like a real pro, liked it hard and fast. Quite the trooper as she took a good pounding for the whole half hour. No DATY as I was probably #15 for the night. Phone #4759826

I stayed at Fruehling's apartment, CasaPrimavera, in Mar Del Plata for 4 nights last week and was very pleased with the entire experience. The apartment is fantastic – it's even nicer than it appears in the video in my opinion. Everything is brand new and excellent quality - the floors, furniture, appliances, bathroom, kitchen, etc. The living/TV room is bigger than I expected based on the video. It is located right on the beach and in the center, close to pedestrian zones and within 5 minutes of almost everything. The apparently residential building has about six floors and is very well maintained.

The concierge, Miguel, is a great guy (bilingual) who knows a lot about his native city. He punctually met me for my airport transfers and checkin/out. I only had to call him once during my stay for a small request and his response was almost instantaneous. I am quite familiar with MDP and I am sure that Miguel would be very helpful to anyone who is new to the city. There is a comprehensive guide to MDP in the apartment that includes maps and recommended restaurants, bars, clubs, and escort services. Miguel recommended an excellent restaurant one night (La Guapa) and even made the reservation for me.

Payment was simple – I made it via credit card over the internet just before my arrival. As you can read below, Frueling has reduced his rates and eliminated the one week minimum.

I highly recommend CasaPrimavera. It's a first rate apartment with excellent service/management and is a great choice for accommodation in MDP. In my opinion, an apartment is almost always preferable to a hotel room, and this apartment has all the amenities and services that you would expect at a fine hotel.

I thought you were going to stay there longer. Don't tell me that you and your questionable escorts were "banned" from the MDP apartment as well!

Wandering around MDP in the middle of Feb. I found a little strip club. 10 pesos to get in, includes one drink. Another drink, a 12 oz can of Quilmes for example, was 5 pesos. Showed up at midnight and it was dead, 5-6 guys watching another guy play pool with some stripper chick. Around 1:30 more chicas showed up, but still it was 12 guys to 5-6 chicas. Girls will immediatly walk up and want a drink, one after the other, 20 pesos. The girls that actually get up on stage (only 2 or 3) didn't really solicit. Of all the girls, 3x 4/5 3x 7/8 and, at the very end, one 10 that got up on stage. I bought a drink for one as she was actually honestly friendly. Guess what? They will all fuck you for a drink and 40-50 pesos, right there in the club in booths, behind heavy curtains.

You can see it from Entre Rios and Bolivar, close to Plaza Colon.

Couple of experiences from my recent visit to this place.

As pointed out earlier in this forum, the number of privados in MdP is huge. Most of them seem to be advertising in 'El Capital' - mostly only with phone numbers, but a quick phone call will get you the address.

The top privado seem to be 'El Hotel' which is indeed gorgeously arranged place, in particular if you go for an hour and get a nice big room. Prices wary from $50 1/2 hour to $140 for an hour, depending also on a girl in question (pesos, of course) I went there Friday around 7pm and there were only two girls available. I went for one of them and it was perhaps one of the worst experiences I have had in Argentina - so boring that I don't want to go into details (but see below)

Visited Madahos afterwords, but something didn't work out for me. The place is reasonable however and there were some pretty nice girls there. Left around 3am with a slight headache but also with a strong desire to improve sour taste of that evening. Stopped by Rawson 3K something (see earlier reports or el capital) but was luckily sober enough to refuse sharing any time with any of the ladies over there.

My luck changed after that due to objectively unreasonable return to El Hotel where I met one of the best looking working girls (for my taste of course) I have seen in Argentina. 21 years old, 1.70 or so, big natural breasts, perfect figure (sorry, don't remember the name) I saw her following day as well in my hotel and she came up dressed in a way which so completely startled the hotel stuff that they forgot to ask any questions. Had a great second session with her. Wow. Cbj though (this appears to be some kind of practice in el hotel, based on my experience.

That same evening I visited Madaho's again, much better experience this time. Pulled out a very nice girl who turned out to be excellent provider and suprisinly interesting conversational partrner.

On a practical note, I was told that the prices over there vary between 150 -200 for negotiable period of time. Chica's drinks are 35. There is no entrance fee but they won't let you out (wiithout having one drink at least.

Carpediem,

I was at Rawson 3123 about a week ago and the quality had declined. There were 6/7 chicas so it wasnt like I caught it on super slow night. Thing is, there are so many damn apartments there (tons within 10 small blocks of that place) and I think that many chicas change around. I often visit 2 or 3 apts before chosing a girl. The apartment on Santiago del Estero closeby has (or at least had) one of the biggest lineups Ive ever seen, over 15 chicas sometimes.

I always pick up the fliers off of car windshields (most cars are plastered with them) and always find good apartments that way. Where is El Hotel? Wherever it is, your timing was probably off on your 1st visit. With rare exception, 7pm is way too early for anything in this country.

El Hotel is on Chacabuco 3815, tel. 472 2300. I saw that address in this forum before so I guess it is not invasion of their privacy to post the address. Be careful not to ring on (I think) 3823 next door, they seem not to like people trying to enter their place at 3am.

Do you have some more precise info re Santiago del Estero place (address or even better phone) I didn't come across that one.

CheersI think its Santiago del Estero 3127, you can look at my 27-Oct report. But remember, these places can and do change and that report is 5 months old. As mentioned, just grab a handful of fliers off of any car and you will have at least a half dozen good apartments (phone, address, and even prices usually listed on the fliers). I find this method much better than browsing La Capital, although there is some overlap. But usually a lot more places (and details) from the fliers than from La Capital. La Capital ads will often just list a phone# and you dont know if its a single chica, an apartment with several, etc.

During my second visit to MdP in as many weeks, the experience was really very mixed. One night (Friday) for example I went through at least 5-6 apartments without finding a reasonable girl. My companion from el hotel (see previous report) was available but I was looking for some variety. What kind of pissed me off is that I called all the places before going there and they were all consistenly lying about the number of girls available. Oh well. One learns.

The only place which definitely provides amazing quantity (if not always quality) is Casa Azul, specilyizing in paraguayans. There are about 15 of them there so there is something for everybody's case. The place itself is a disaster - so don't repeat my mistake but ask your taxi driver to wait for you, run in, pick up a girl or girls, and run out. $90 (pesos) per hour in house, $100 at your place. The girls there are on 5-7 scale.

Madaho - again a lot of variety there, and not too many startling beauties. I spent my time there with the girl I met the previous week and that experience was enough to make me leave MdP with a smile on my face.

My next weekend visit to Mar del Plata turned out much better than that I originally expected, I have to say. One important reason was renting Frueling's Apt. Which made a big difference for me compared to a bit stinky Dos Reyes hotel where I stayed previous weeks. The apartment is very nicely located with a frontal view of the beach - one can watch the waves whole night if there is nothing better to to:) Otherwise the place is very close to the main pedestrian zone making it very convenient. Finally, I really like not having to deal with hotel personal regarding bringing in visitors - in Dos Reyes they were ok, but not overly friendly. I should also point out that it's not really easy to find a hotel room in MdP even out of season - apparently they have a lot of conventions etc. Which take care of filling local hotels to capacity. The other details about the apartment itself can be found on the web page so I won't dwell more into this here.

The city itself was actually much more crowded than what I expected, a lot of action everywhere. Regarding our favorite hobby, in addition to Madaho's and other places I mentioned before, I visited La Posada, the only other boliche I know of in the city (I hear there are more but I didn't look more into how to locate them) La Posada is easy to find - every taxi driver knows about it and it is conveniently located 3 min (by car) from the apartment. The place itself is not overly exciting, doesn't have any shows or indeed not much of the atmosphere, but what it does have is a number of very young and very friendly and very good looking paraguayan girls. $100 hour, and drinks $15/$25 if memory serves me right (pesos) Had a very good time with one of the senoritas.

In general, I find MdP a nice alternative to BsAs - perhaps not for too long during out of season period, but one can have quite a good time there. And of course having all those beaches around definitely helps.

There was a recent post about checking out Mar del Plata over the Flag Day weekend. I read in the Buenos Aires Herald that there were fewer Mar del Plata visitors over the weekend than usual. I took a look at the Mar del Plata thread going back aways. I take it that a winter visit is more a "get out of town" idea than anything else. Is there a big draw this time of year? And if so, why? I was thinking about bolting BA for a few days, but why go to a beach resort in winter?

Dogg,

I think I may have posted about this before so you may want to do a quick review.

I'm not sure what I prefer - winter or summer in MDP. If I had to chose I'd probably say winter. Remember, MDP is not just a beach resort, it is a provincial city of over 500,000 people that is on the coast. You won't be swimming in the Atlantic in June but you also won't have the suffocating crowds of January. When summer ends, MDP simply returns to a normal activity level which is quite good. I know several Argentines that like visiting MDP as long as it's NOT January-February. Prices come back down, you can actually find a hotel room, and you don't have to wait 3 hours to be seated at a restaurant. It's not like going to a Colorado ski resort in August. Tiny vacation places like Villa Gesell and Pinamar are places that are alive only during the summer.

As written, I like MDP. There is a wide selection of great restaurants, bars, whoares, and night districts in a good sized coastal city that is more peaceful than BsAs. Even the largest provincial cities have a much different, sometimes better feel than BsAs. And I like checking out the coast, especially the open areas between MDP and Miramar, even when they are empty and quiet in winter.

I arrived by taxi to 3123, which is a house in a residential area. I had the taxi wait in front, as you cannot tell if the apartment is open. The door was open to a vestibule with a door bell, and I was immediately greeted at the door and invited into a very dark Lobby. Due to the extreme darkness the eyes require 5 minutes to adjust. Caution: darkness can lower your guard and senses. After chatting with a service provider for a couple minutes, my roving hands soon discovered, to my dismay, a "package". I immediately stated that I was here for a women and demanded a change of personnel. This greatly offended the "welcomer", but after some persistence, I got my message across. A switch to a young lady was made and a very pleasant time was had at Ar100 per hour. The young lady locked the door and was very apologetic for the misunderstanding. Her service was very attentive and energetic. Without seeing other apartments, I would not repeat at 3123

Just a note about January. I had a guest have to cancel for the 15-30th January. We are hoping that someone would like to take their place for all or part of the time.

Spent 2 nights of our 3 night trip in Madahos, 30 pesos our drinks and 40 for the chicas. The club itself is approx 25% the size of the BsAs club and the same ratio with the chicas.

To me there is no better feeling than walking into a club for the 1st time knowing that you have not been with any chica in there (all new meat)

The 1st night I picked a 31 year old Argentinean with 1 child who spent every spare hour of her day in a gym, at 5ft 4 ins 110lb and as solid as a rock, her name was something like 'Roxy'

As we where staying in a hotel the other end of town we went next door to the 'Guadix' love hotel. 40 pesos entry of which I think I saw the guy slip my chica 10 pesos kick back on the way out.

200 pesos for just over the hour and 2 pops. If you do visit Madahos MDP and like 31 blonde spinners with the most incredible muscle control then this chica is for you, reverse cow girl was incredible!

Hi all,

I have come into some financial problems and need to sell this place. You have all seen reports about how great it is. It operates at about 70% occupancy during the Summer months. If you know anyone who is interested in buying this, it would include:

- The apartment in perfect condition.

- The website.

- All marketing reports and submissions.

- 1 employee in MDP who operates freelance for you as a concierge, but also takes care of everything while you are away.

If you are interested, please email reservations@casaprimavera. Com. Ar

Can anyone offer an update about MDP in regards to bars, nightlife, weather, etc.

Also very important, is MPD having the same level of inflation as BA?

Anyone knows prices for things like a simple lunch, beer, movies etc.

Thank you guys,

After a hectic month commuting between BA and MdP once a week and sometimes visiting 5 boites per night.

Madahos in MdP, which I earlier had high thoughts of, has gone down the list.

I was very lucky the first evening there, a Friday, with a number 10 that staid the whole night for almost nothing. I still see her regularly, I keep her for myself.

Madahos, Recoleta the no 1.

In MdP, for non pros, visit Jazz on the seafront in the Alem part of the city. only Fri-Sat, but very easy to get a nice chica.

An amazing place in MdP is Casita Azul, tel 4759826.

Do not like the place in itself but you have to visit first time your document for security of the girls which I think is very good.

24 hours, 7 days a week.

Really nice chicas. Try Candela before she goes back to Paraguay in January.

You can call 6 in the morning and in 20 minutes the most fantastic girl will show up.

1 hour 120p plus taxi.

Madahos in MDP is right next to the Sheraton hotel. I went there a few minutes before midnight. There is no cover charge. There is a sign outside which roughly translates to ". Need to spend minimum 30 pesos." I obviously spent more than that but for those peso pinchers, I am not sure how the club keeps track of it. Chica drinks are 40 pesos. The hottest Chica (in my opinion) who is a 9, started with 600 pesos for two hours and 300 pesos for one hour. She did not want to do 1.5 hour for 300. Her inflexibility made me nervous about her performance so I dropped her. Around 2 AM, I pulled a real cutie for 200 pesos for 1.5 hours. The transitario around the block is 50 pesos /2 hrs but was full so she took us to the "Queen hotel", another transitario in Centro. This place is 65 pesos. Decent place with a nice Jacuzzi, porn and music. I had a great time. Including my first underwater BJ. I tipped her 20 pesos for the cab.

Madahos was a bit crowded last night. Unfortunately the extra numbers were all men. Same Chicas, but most of the decent one's (above 7) were gone by 1 AM. Some of them started to comeback around 3 AM. I left without pulling anyone out. Took a cab to Casita Azul (thank you Bahia) This place was quite busy at that time. 8 chicas and 10 or so guys sitting around in the "viewing room". I picked a 22 yr old, Salina (aka Damia) with a hot body and an OK face. 90 pesos for one hour. Service was above average but not great. Attitude was quite friendly. She was more interested in learning english than having sex, but I don't blame her. CBJ and Sexo were offered. Other items were not on the menu. May be YMMV

Jabone,

I went to some houses in MDP and my experiences were just like the

One you had.

Extremely dark rooms, couldn't see anything! Girls look like travestis

Haha. I was out of those places before the presentation was over!

After 3 strikes I gave up, and took a taxi to Sobremonte, a

Megaclub with lots of non-pros.

MDP is not the best place to monger from personal experience.

There is a website for MdP, www.laconejita.com.ar.

Last December, I spent a week in MDP (Mar Del Puta) mainly for mongering and hanging out on the beach. December is quite a good time to visit MDP. The weather is already fine but the big crowds of BA Have not yet arrived, so there is still a good selection of affordable hotel rooms. I stayed at the 'Traful' hotel, which is downtown and well situated between most of the casas and the beach. It is quite far from Madahos but I don't like nocturnos anyway.

I noticed a few things about the casas in MDP that are different from most casas in BA.

- They are usually in single houses in residential areas - no doormen.

- The flyers that guys hand you in the shopping streets always mention the full address of the place (in BA It is mostly only the phone number)

- In many casas, visitors are being directed to very dark rooms (black light only) where you are supposed to make your choice. Beware of these places because they've got something to hide! Sometimes, it is transvestites but in most cases it is just old and ugly women.

Several casas in MDP may have the same owners as those with the same name in BA. I'm not sure about this, but it would not surprise me because I noticed similarities in styling and approach of customers. Many girls move to MDP in Jan. And Feb. Just following their customers from BA.

The top casas in MDP are (as far as I could see):

El Cielo / Las Diosas. This is a group consisting of 3 casas, which have the same owner(s) Addresses are:

- Castelli 3133
- San Martin 3113
- Falucho 2629

Most of the girls in these casas are young and good looking. They can be compared to the girls you find in the 200 peso / hour range in be. A. In MDP, rates are 150-180/ hour on the above mentioned 3 addresses. At Castelli 3133, the mamasan quoted me 180 per hour, but I suspected her of gringo pricing. On the other two addresses, I was being quoted 150/ hour. Probably still gringo pricing, but less severely. Fucked one girl in San Martin and another in Falucho. Both were really friendly but no BBBJ available. DFK was provided.
Website: www.diosas-sexy.com

Second top casa I found in MDP is also a group:
- 20 de Septiembre 1317 (La Gestoria)
- Espana 1214
Also a bunch of good-looking girls in these two places. I had two sessions with a hot Paraguyana in La Gestoria. Both times, she jumped me like a wild animal: DFK, DT, BBBJ. She has a great body too. I'm not sure about her name but I think that it was Estephania.
Website: www.webmdp.com/lagestoria/

A third good one was the casa on Las Heras 2259 PB A. This one is in an appartment building but the casa is on the ground floor and the mamasan opens the door to let you in. There were three pretty girls when I visited. I chose Daniela because her face and body reminded me of the young Terry Hatcher. However, her attitude sucked. CBJ only and she even refused to kiss and tried to make me cum as soon as possible. Well, too bad for her that I'm not as fast as Superman. Damage was 150 pesos for one hour.

I visited many other places, most of them pretty awful and some of them o.k. Here are a few addresses:

-Sarmiento 2816 (tel. 451-6323); Open 24 hours. Near the bus station.
-Salta 2027 (tel. 493-8083); The lowest tariff mentioned on their flyer is 10 pesos. I can't imagine what you get for that much. Probably very low-end.

Castelli 2889 (tel. 491-4674); 'Four girls ready to do anything' according to their flyer.
Rivadavia 2631 Piso 4 (tel. 491-8997). On the flyer: 'you can get off twice for 30 pesos'. In 10 minutes?

- Rawson 2598 esq. Cordoba. (tel., 492-1362). I had a nice Paraguyana in this place. Good attitude but she smelled of boose. Costs: 70 pesos for 30 min.
- Alvarado 301 (tel. 486-3951) 'Sol y Luna' close to Av. Alem; 24 hours
- Rivadavia 2652 1F (tel. 493-5200 / 496-1010) 'New Center'; 24 hours
- Brown 2655 (tel. 493-7748); 24 hours
- Santiago del Estero 3127 (tel. 496-3206 / 495-5983); 24 hours
- 9 de Julio 2615 (tel. 493-5757) 'Placer y Relax'; website: www.laconejita.com.ar

- San Martin 3462 Dept.1 (tel. 476-1151) 'Cleopatra'
- Avellaneda 2078 (tel. 494-2414) 'La Putanesca'
- Dean Funes 1208 (tel. 473-8086); 24 hours.
- Colon 3465 (tel. 491-3264) Prices start with 10 pesos. Two girls for 30 pesos. One drink free. I went there but did not indulge - only older fat women here.

- Rawson 1457 (tel. 451-0312); 24 hours.
- Brown 3283 (tel. 494-5327 / 492-2630) 24 hours. Entirely horrible place: very dark room and only old women (50+) The mamasan claimed that there would be younger girls later but I didn't go back.

Someone also handed me a flyer for a 'nocturno': La Recova. This one has shows on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, starting midnight. Address is: Champagnat 2520 (tel. 478-8685) I never went there but if you like these places, it may be worth a visit.

A few friends and I spent some quality time in MDP this past week. Beaches amazing especially Abracadabra--highly recommend for viewing--maybe get lucky--chicas very friendly to turistas.

We found 2 other good places, not on the lists:

San Luis 2751, is a good quality Casa---some of the girls here are brought in at the Sheratin but for double the price, 150 ps. For 45 min is normal at the Casa or 3-400p at the room. I prefer to see before I pay and at half the cost. Try Paula.

11 de Sept. At Riocka (not sure of spelling) but most cab drivers know as they get commission, has some 20 to 30 chicas all young and most Paraguayan. Its a bit dark in there so ask the bartender to turn the lights on or bring a lighter or small flashlight. Had a great session for 150p 1 hour--used every minute. Hotel next door for 50p / hr. Loved it Chica was 19 and experienced. Must of started very early.

Good Luck and Enjoy as we only live once.

Nice report, but no such address. There are a few others on Rawson.

BAD APPLE.

That said, don't be alarmed if you enter one of the privados and the "madam" is a guy (not a transvestite) I've been to many privados in MdP in which a guy was in charge. It's normal there.

In some ways Mar del Plata has a lot more to offer than Buenos Aires.

Red Lights on the front of the *****(weird, can't say w h o r e, but can say Fuck) houses. What a concept. No pieces of paper stuck on the telephones. They printed 3x4 flyers and put on the car windows. They have government approved numbers on them. Well on some of them anyway. But it is hard not look at every telephone box for the pieces of paper.

The wider sidewalks are nicer too. The humidity is low. Close to the beach. Places for sale from US$30,000 to 98,000, and a few higher. And NO SMOKE. Just a little fog in the morning.

Moore, - I agree with your comment about 7pm being early, but it was urgent:)

Cheers

At Santa Cruz. 8 to 20 Chicas. Prices: 60p 30 min. 90p hour, 120p Take Out. Tel: 475 9826. Hours: 24/7.

I took the long taxi ride. I looked at 7 fat chica and one so so, I left. I did not even ask the latest price. It is a long walk until you find a taxi.

Off to a seafood dinner at the pier, and the next spot.

Went to Casita Azul, very dirty dark place, sit in a very dark room with purple lights along with a couple of local 'kids', girls didn't seem too friendly, even at 90 pesos an hour I wouldn't touch anything here. IMHO

Next stop after dinner and too much wine was near the Omnibus station. But it had not been enough wine because after looking at the 5 chicas, when the madam came back I asked if she was available. She said no. She was really nice looking. I had walked there and started off to find some Thinner chicas.

The Prices are 70p 30 min. And 100p hour.

This is a group consisting of 3 casas, which have the same owner (s) Addresses are:

I visited many other places, most of them pretty awful and some of them o. K. Here are a few addresses:

-Sarmiento 2816 (tel. 451-6323); Open 24 hours. Near the bus station.

Last stop for the night. I saw three really nice chicas. Tired from walking and too much wine. My Viagra was worn out. I declined after I asked the guy in charge if any of the chicas did BBBJ and he said no. He was very friendly. I will come back.

If you guys take the bus and are ready when you get there, it is around the corner from the Omnibus station.

I spent last weekend in MdP, here's a summary:

P4P.

As written in previous posts, MdP is full of excellent private houses (privados) Here is a short list of privados.

At La Rioja. 20 to 30 Chicas. Prices: Drinks $15/$25, Chicas $150 hour. The Hotel Paraiso Transitorio is next door for 50p.

Great Post Bucanero.

I went this evening. I talked to Edward about which chica would do BBBJ, he talked to the chicas and one agreed. Sorry Sydney. I fucked one of your girlfriends. Karina from the Dominican Republic. Yes, I fucked her, but only after she tried to pull a fast one on me. Like I can not tell when she slips a rubber on me, and tries to hide it with her hair.

She got it up with the rubber on, so we fucked for a while. Until it went down, pulled off the rubber and got my BBBJ, but no CIM. No DATY.

In MarDel. I moved here March 2008 and just got my permanent residency. I look forward to meeting any mongers coming to my favorite town in the world. PM me for contact info. I have been fluent in Spanish. Well, actually, Tex-Mex (the type of Spanish we talk in Texas) all my life.

I am retired, so I have time available except for the 2. 3 months each year I spend back in MIA. IAH. DFW.PHX on my part-time business.

I had the same intentions as you but it is a shitty city. Spent 2 months betweeen MdP and BA in Nov. Dec. Last year. Normally live in Rio and came to MdP on Nov. 5 last year, rain, winds and 5 degrees (C) Thinking of setting up a new base in MdP since I need beaches. But soon had another thought. Even if you pay double MdP prices in Rio, why on earth to MdP, season is short, girls lousy. The only decent is Madaho in MdP, 500 mtrs from Sheraton. You have lots of apts girls in MdP, they are all ugly, dark and "do not visit". If you like beach life bring a girl from BA and visit Christmas Time to mid Feb.

Does Fortaleza ring any bell to you?

Not like RIO but very similar. Good for a couple of months Nov.-Feb. And much cheaper than RIO.

BA is super, half the pices of Brasil, beatiful womens, you are secure rel to Brazil, the best reasturants in the southern hemisphere. When the jacaranda trees is blossoming in Parliament Square late Nov. To Dec. It is a paradise. But, nothing beats Rio and you can forget anything along the coast (Fortaleza) have tried everything.

Just curiosity, but has anyone had any recent XP in Mardel, now that the holiday season's in full swing? Or know any chicas who travel down there to work in January? I'm wondering whether the scene picks up down there when the tourists are in town. Went there a couple of years back but in late November and nearly froze on the beach. When it rains it's like someone's turned the hosepipe on. January must be the time to go if you can find a place to stay, it's easy to get to. 5 or 6 hours on the comfortable ejecutivo buses out of Retiro. The Zona Alem is the area to head for bars, restaurants & nightlife. Tried Madahos a couple of times while I was down there but the chica quality was nothing like BA and I didn't go with anyone. Ended up four days without any action but that just meant more cash to spend when I got back to BA. Maybe now you'd see a few 8s or 9s around the clubs?

Same question would apply to Punta del Este in Uruguay, if anyone's been out there this month. Again I went for a short visit a long time back but in February out of season. Rained all day, places were dead and I ended up heading back to Montevideo. But with the high rollers in town in January, wondering if there is a short term chica boom while the money lasts?

Not much recent info on mdp, I'll take a closer look at the local boards tomorrow, any recommendations for a hotel that is close to the beach? Looking at going 31 Jan, airfare (909p) is a little less than double the bus fare (460p) , but 50 minutes vs 5-6 hours,

The best little whorehouse that I have ever been kicked out of! 15 Paraguayan 18 year old girls in the living room of a real house! Front yard full of grass and everything. 20 peso beers and you just grab a girl in the line-up and take her to the bedroom! Awesome! They all line up and dance in front of you while you pick a chick!

So the subject turned to G. W Bush and I said he was my neighbor and that it was a nice neighborhood so they asked me to leave and I told them that I was not going anywhere.

My old partner says that it was about 8 to 1 but I only felt the punches of about 7 to 1, fuck, after a few they all feel the same. Like Rocky I never went down! Went to the Police Station to file charges and they knew exactly where the place was!

"La Casita Azul", The Little Blue House, the best little whorehouse in Uruguay!

TL.

Maybe that 5th of Whisky on the bus ride had something to do with our difference of opinions?

My jaw hurt so much I could not walk! What does my jaw have to do with walking? It was full of blood sloshing around! Still, I took on 7 punks and never fell down!

"La Casita Azul", The Little Blue House, the best little whorehouse in Uruguay!" If so you might want to also give some indication as to where in Mar del P it is for anybody that would like to follow in your footsteps and go there.

You also may want to indicate if the ass whupping you took was at the Casita. Can't speak for anybody else but that info would be important to me.

I think that just about any cab driver will know where it is. The brawl was on the front steps and in the front yard of the house. The perfect Privado where you hang around in the living room and about 15 girls are lined up and dancing in front of you. You pick one out and you just go to one of the bedrooms. It's a normal house in a quite neighborhood.

TLLa Casita Azul was closed in March 2012. I don't know if it has opened again but somehow I doubt it. It had already been closed in 2011 and the people responsible sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. This time there were 11 Paraguayans and 1 Dominican girls working there all which were considered to being forced to sell sex.

There is a legal clause now used a lot in these cases "situation of vulnerability" which means even if the girls weren't exactly held against their will, the fact they were in a vulnerable situation (undocumented etc) means they weren't fully free to make the choice of prostituting themselves or not.

As usual, La Alameda (ONG) was behind this closure.

There has been a lot in the papers this week (even front page headline in one) that there are as much as 10, 000 places of prostitution (privados, bars, brothels etc) in Buenos Aires (Capital and Greater BA).

Except for a few hard-liners who, as in the US, believe prostitution should be illegal and clients punished, most of the public opinion agree that it should be kept legal but with stricter controls.
