Campo Chico is a very quaint Parilla located on the cobblestone street of Bolini. Bolini is located, technically, in Palermo, though it borders Recoleta. Bolini runs parallel between Austria and Sanchez de Bustamante. The restaurant is located at the end of Bolini as it meets French. Its kind of a ***** to find if your coming from Recoleta. Take a cab to Austria and French. Walk on French towards Palermo n Sanchez de Bustamante. You'll see the restaurant on the left side of Bolini. I'll be there around 9:00 in the PM.

I thought I would be the prudent monger and used the subway to checkout a privado downtown. Very easy to access. Only one problem, I went the wrong mutha fuckin way! Sonofabitch dropped me off in Belgrano. I got onto the street, and whipped out my map to try and get my bearings. I couldn't figure it out where the F I was at (the Nexus of the universe maybe? So I caught a cab. He asked me if I wanted to get to my destination using Corrientes or the highway. I thought he was kidding until we drove by River's soccer stadium. That's when I realized my idiot mistake. The $1 peso subway ride turned into a $31 peso fucking pain in my ass!
I used the subway on the way back from downtown to Barrio Norte. I checked with a policeman to make sure I was getting on the right line as it's a bit confusing at the downtown station. I was surprised at how quickly I got to my stop. Once you get the hang of it, there's no better way to get back in forth is the city especially when the traffic is heavy.
Things must really be slow down here. I'm getting calls from privado's asking me for business. Judd does delivery! Be back with a report.

I got the hang of it the last few times I was there and I used it frequently to go to Palermo and Belgrano only in the day time from Puerto Madero where I stay. I find it very easy and my tour book has a map with all the stops.
Funny story was last trip a dog got on the train in the microcenter and most people found it funny and amusing. I am not sure if that would ever occur in any city that I know.
Also I always find some pretty girls going somewhere and the eye contact is interesting. Sure it sounds like a cheap way to go but the cabs have become a little expensive and I find it a nice touch of reality of the city.
Only caveat was I once got off on the last stop in Florida street and got turned around walking in nowheresville with no cab in site for a while. I would recommend day travel as I would in most cities. Aslo good way to use up those monedas / coins.
