While doing some research on a return trip to Medellin, I found a great flight deal for unchartered territory for me: ORD to Buenos Aires via Mexico City for $119 + tax, totaling $287 on Mexicana Airlines. Dates 8/26/09 thru 9/9/09 (this date is key, more on that later. Mexicana Airlines was a great airline: flight attendants were hot; nacional beer and tequila were free from the drink cart. I got to Buenos Aires without incident.

Immigration and Customs were a breeze. At baggage claim, there is a big sign telling you that where the cambios were in the airport, and on the sign it stated what the bank rate was just outside of customs within the airport. The tourists seemed to head to the first cambio; the locals seemed to bypass that cambio to head to the Banco de la Nacion which gave a better rate. I change some money at the bank and then ask for directions to the bus at the information booth next to the bank. The three options were taxi, a nice bus (AR26) and the local's bus. I took the locals bus #86, AR4 pesos and 1.5 hours later, I was in Microcentro. I stayed at a beautiful hostel, Florida Hostel, for AR30/ nt. I actually lucked out and had my own room for over a week.

My first night, with Jackson's cheat sheet in hand, printed fresh off of Argentina Private (www.argentinaprivate.com) I headed straight to the triangle which was walking distance from my hostel. Cattos, Hook, etc. These places were ok, filled with older girls, most look augmented. Drink prices were high, especially the chica drinks (approximately AR100. To take a woman out, you have to buy at least one chica drink. I was quoted AR300 for an hour, decided not to partake because I just couldn't find anyone hot enough to pop my cherry here. Went home, for tomorrow is a new day!

Woke up the next day craving a chica to the point that I was actually shaking. I had to break the seal. Using the cheat sheet as a guide again, I head to Gysell's Apartment on Suipacha 834. From what I read, for a newbie the first place to go during the day was to Gysell's Place. Gysell's Place is open 24 hours.

So I walk there from my place and the building was very nondescript. I had to pull out the cheat sheet to make sure I was at the right place. When I saw that I was, I looked for the doorbell and smiled when I saw that one special doorbell at the top of the panel was painted red. I rang it. Next comes the nerves. I have read threads about what exactly you say at the intercom. I hear "Bueno" and figure I will just say "Hello." The woman responds in English and says that she is on her way down to let me in. OK, so I passed the intercom test.

Up the elevator I go and am led into the waiting area. A menu with prices and services available is clearly posted on the coffee table:

AR 150 - 1/2 hr bbbj and conventional sex.

AR 200 - 1/2 hr bbbj and anal.

A little more for the hour, but not much (maybe AR 50 extra I think?

I am presented with the lineup. I choose Megali. 1 hour, great massage and then a GFE / PSE session. I then get a free drink (I chose a beer) while I cleaned up. It was hot and really loosened me up. Welcome to Buenos Aires!

I sessioned there maybe 4 more times in the two weeks I was there. Out of those 5 times, I had one more really good session while the others were ok at best.

My 2 cent gripes about Gysell's place.

1. I wish she had more variety on the day shift. Pretty much I saw that there were the same two girls that worked this shift, a little variety would be nice. Also, I learned that some of Gysell's girls were specifically for outcall and did not do incall which is a shame based on some of the pics I have seen from her stable.

2. Photoshopped pics of girls.

3. The menu says BBBJ is included in all sessions while Anal must be negotiated with the girl beforehand. For one session the girl said that BBBJ depends on the girl. This would be ok normally, but here it showed that it was on the menu. This was a weekend, so many of the other casas are closed and I just took what was available. The session ended quickly and I was happy to leave. I did go back another time and told the attendant that what I wanted the next time so that she could bring women that met my criteria. I wish the menu would reflect better that BBBJ, like anal, must be negotiated so that people do not think that it is an automatic.

4. My second to last night, I came back at 2200 hours. Sat there for 1/2 hour before I was told that there was no one else available. The attendant was cool with me and has been my trip, so she said to come back later. I went out for the night, got my drink on at the club, and as I was about to go into my place at 3am, I passed up Gysell's place and figured that I would look at the menu. I take a girl for an hour session, and the session was going great (one of my favorites up to this point. 40 minutes into it, I get a knock on the door saying that time was up. The girl goes out there and straightens things out, and we get back to action. Then, 10 minutes later, the same thing happens again. We had just finished, so I wanted a little cuddle time. Wasn't going to happen. I get dressed and complain and noticed that the attendant was waiting to go home but I guess my session was holding her up. She apologized but said that she was tired and wanted to go home and promised to give me 20 extra minutes on my next session with a girl when she is working the desk. Didn't really help as she wasn't working my final night, so I could never take that offer up.

All in all, an above average place, and a good place for a newbie like me to get my cherry popped. However, its apartment service here and not terma service and so it truly is a YMMV from session to session. Definitely an experience from which I have learned from.

I bounced around a other apartments during my trip and didn't really have an awful experience at the others, but there was one that was memorable to me. At the suggestion of an AP board member, I went to Corrientes 1667. 3 or 4 of the apartments were working girl places. On 3d floor, I had my trophy girl, a hottie from Uruguay who also gave great service (ill try to post her pic.

Madahos / Black. The high end strip clubs. AR90 to walk in the door, taxi gets a tip, however, your price is AR90 whether you go by cab or not. Both places are nice, but for my trip I think that Madahos had the better looking girls. AR150 for the chica drink, can negotiate a girl down to AR400 for a couple hours of service. One woman at Madahos was just gorgeous, a Venezuelan with natural D breasts who has a twin sister that works at Black. The twin had to work somewhere else because they couldn't bring themselves to do threesomes, no matter the money. I definitely would have paid a premium for that threesome, maybe someone will have better luck or wear them down!

My favorite strip clubs were actually right outside of Madahos. It was a little cheaper. There are guys outside hawking passes for those clubs, get a 2 for 1 drink special and no cover to get you in, I kept bouncing between the clubs. I am not sure if it was because the deals would get better or the drinks were getting to me, but I had more fun as I bounced from club to club.

Café Orleans seemed overrated. The women looked older, used, and just not very pleasant on average. I varied my times of visit and had a bottle or 2 of the oversized beer. I probably missed out on some of the legends there, but otherwise didn't have a high opinion of this place.

Wingmen / Cell Phones. I didn't have a mongering wingman this trip. It probably would have been a little different if I had stayed at Jackson's apartment. Buenos Aires fraternal system just isn't set up as it is in other countries, much to my dismay. I only connected once with a wingman down there, but as he had his own life to deal with, I had to depend on myself to learn the lay of the land. Luckily for me, I hooked up most nights with an awesome group of British exchange students. During the day I would go to Apartments, at night I would club hop with them, and after that was done, then I would head to late night activities. Also, cell phone chips were a pain in the ass to get. I got turned down at three places because I did not have Argentina ID. I finally got a card from a shop that sold PERSONAL (name of cell provider) cards. However, you cannot get minutes there or even at a Personal store. After bouncing around for over 30 minutes from kiosk to kiosk, I finally found somewhere to get minutes.

Fine Dining. My favorite restaurant was aptly named "Siga La Vaca." A liter of beer or bottle of wine, all you can eat steak and fixings, and an after dinner desert for AR60 was awesome!

Argentina Attitudes. I got sick of the "My shit doesn't stink" attitude very quickly. IMHO, Argentines think that they are European and not Latino and look down on Latinos from other countries. That made the Brasil v Argentina soccer game all the sweeter! When Brasil scored their final goal, I shared the great pride that the Brasilians had in my hostel. I wish I could have chanted along with them in Portuguese just to rub Argentina's face in it. I wasn't the only one as the Brits I was with felt the same way. However, one thing did give me some respect for Argentineans. I saw a mugging during rush hour. Several Argentineans chased this kid down, beat the crap out of him while women walked by to spit on him. The cops came and really saved this kid by arresting him. I don't think I would have seen that in any other Latino country. Good for Argentina!

The true gem of the trip: Sweet Mariana. I met Mariana my last night in Buenos Aires. We had been playing phone / email tag all week which really built up the anticipation for me as I was worried that I would not meet her. I had read so many great things about her that I really wanted to meet. Rate was AR200 pesos.

She gave me her email and planned to meet a few hours later. Her english was good though we eventually switched to spanish since I am a native spanish speaker. Her apartment was walking distance in Centro. I showed up a little early and went upstairs to have a beer at the bar while I waited for her call.

I get the call and head up the elevator to her apartment. Wow, she looked amazing in her lingerie. She kissed me on the cheek in welcoming me. We sat for a bit and talked for a while as I wanted to get to know her more. A beautiful Colombian, she is in Buenos Aires until the end of the year 2009. A short time later, we started to do the deed. I actually asked to play my music on my Iphone because I had some romantic spanish music. It just seemed to elevate our session. Very GFE, and afterward I didnt want to leave and she didnt push me out. We talked, laughed and kissed for hours it seemed until I had to go meet the boys at the bar for my last beer in town.

She is truly a sweetheart and I feel at a loss for not being able to know her sooner. She definitely put a smile on my face and made my trip to Buenos Aires memorable.

Departure on 9-9-09. Took a shuttle from hostel for AR30. Checked in without incident. I had some time to see the airport and can say that the international airport is a first class airport, very modern and beautiful. Immigration was smooth, the immigration official struck up a conversation with me and wished me a safe trip and a future return to Argentina which I thought was nice. Now the fun starts, Our flight to Mexico City was delayed 2 hours. When we arrive, I see several Policia Federal planes, cars and cops on the runway. I get through Mexico immigration and see that my flight is delayed again. I log on to find out that there was a hijacking in Cancun and the flight came to the capital because some Bolivians thought that 9-9-09 is an upside down 666 and felt that they needed to immediately talk to President Calderon. After a few hours, we finally took off and I arrived back to Chicago.

Wrap-Up. Buenos Aires is a very European City. It is a very safe city. Mongering is primarily done by visiting Apartments, although escorts are available via the internet or late night at the strip clubs. Although GFE is customary, the passion behind GFE is usually missing. Steak and leather is great here. Be prepared to eat dinner at 2200 hours and go out to party at 0200 hours and be able to party until 0700 or later. I am happy to have experienced Buenos Aires and am able to add it as a notch to my belt, but for me is not a primary mongering destination.

Brilliant refreshing and comprehensive report, and for once, from a latin american perspective. Thumbs up Mexidan!

I m just surprised by the number you mentioned on the colectivo to Eizeza. I thought the 86 was replaced by the 8. The 2009 price of the Leon bus is 45 pesos, 26 is 2007 price.

Your report shows clearly there is absolutly no reason to spend 200 USD in clubs for your hormonal emergencies. The job can be done well for 200 pesos in apartments and by internet (less than the cost of entrance+drink).

Buenos Aires is still affordable if you make the right choices : collective transportation, travellers accomodation and avoiding middlemen for your basic instincts release providers.

It s not any more the bargain destination it used to be tho.

The note page for the bus must have been my pre-trip notes. You are right that the bus number is 8. From what I saw, the bus stop signs make note of the change, saying that the old route 86 is the new route 8.

Hey Sidney, thanks for the trip advice you have me via PM.

My favorite places in Latin America right now are Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and Medellin, Colombia. You bet. But I find it kind of difficult and more expensive to reach Medellin from Rio where I land first. That's why I keep going back to Buenos Aires and I don't regret it. Plenty of nice people there and chicas too.

Many thanks for your great report.
