Hi All,

Does anyone know or can recommend any operators in BA that run tours of sites related to Diego Maradona please?

I found one through casa34.com but as I am on my own they want $500 for the tour which is a bit steep. (its $275 each for two people).

There was an article in a magazine here in Australia saying that football photographer Jorge Dominelli will show you the sites for a fee. Would anyone have his contact details please?

Cheers,

L

LHey, I wish I could help you out but even though I follow futbol here closely, I know of no Maradona "tour", and honestly, I doubt if one exists. I checked out the casa.34 site. NEVER use a real estate agency for futbol matters. They are only interested in ripping off tourists (I saw their apartment on Nicaragua listed for $4,300US a month !)

My recommendations would be to go to the Boca Juniors museum (at the stadium) and take the tour of the stadium they offer. Also, you might want to check out the small museum at the stadium of Argentinos Juniors (for whom Maradona played more than Boca). I've done both.

Good luck! If you find more Maradona tour info please post it.

http://bsastangooff.com.ar/ingles/product_template.php? I'd=8I checked out the link. Well, so there is a Maradona "tour". Sorry for being so skeptical, but buyer beware. Particularly for $275US per person. Honestly, I think this is for suckers. There are alot of things you can do with $275US in Buenos Aires that carry more value than a supposed Maradona "tour". And, you can find alot of those things on Argentina Private. Good luck.

Lothario,

Take a look here:

And here:

This last one supposedly run by a "dutch expatriate resident of Buenos Aires". On the trail of Redondo !!

The first one is where I got the tip about Jorge Dominelli. I've tried contacting him but maybe I am dialling the number wrong?

Does anyone have an email address for him?

The 2nd one refers you to casa34 which is where I started in the 1st place, but they refered me elsewhere.

Dunno, seems to be a bit of a wild goose chase.

Dunno, seems to be a bit of a wild goose chase. Not to beat a dead horse, but it's probably a "wild goose chase" because what you want doesn't really exist. $275 pesos is a big difference for sure. As always, good luck with it.
