I have zero medical training. I hope that this post will inspire some with trianing to google and go to pubmed and give all factual and scientific information about use and abuse of "love drops" It has been alleged elsewhere in this forum that love drops are risk free and will result in 12 hour erections. After reading viagra warnings: Seek medical advise if an erection lasts more than 4 hours, I went to google and a friend who is an urologist for information.

"love drops" are hcg who is markets towards men for a few uses:

1. Help young boys' testicles decend.

2. Weightloss when combined with a 500 calorie per day diet. Hcg does effect the thyroid and may speed up the body's metabolism. 500 calorie diet will lead to weight loss with or without the drops. Not really a scientific basis for making the connection.

3. Increase testerone production. There are a number of steroid user forums with stories about uses drops with
varying individuals reporting their own experiences

Steroids shrink the user's balls and slow or stop testosterone production. Love Drops have no direct relationship with human growth hormones from what could pick-up in one hour of research.

Drops create a chemical reaction which results in more production of this marvelous hormone T.

The urologist warmed me in very simple and direct language: do not use this stuff for self medication for recreational sex. I can be dangerous depending on dosage and length of use.

12 hour erections pose a danger to the hydrolic system in the dick. That is the reason for the warning on all the viagra and cialis boxes and labels. With viagra or cialis a large dose of antihistamines may counter act the viagra and end the erection."love drops" can result in an erection. large doses cause a high amount of testosterone to be created and the process is different. The off switch is more complex. 12 hour erections have too many risks to be a regular goal in recreational sex.

Chronic use of "love drops" hcg can result in the body failing to testosterone when the drops are stopped.

Risky business

Would some with medical training please explain this stuff to all of us????? Recreational abusers rants on how great drop are is not a useful response.

Miami Bob, very interesting and excellent post.

Honestly, I think, that these drugs should be used in cases of erectile dysfunction, and completely under medical orders, (Sildenafil- Gotas de amor, etc). Is serious. Is not a game. Side effects caused by these drugs is mixed. From heat in the head, through palpitations, etc.

If swallowed by "curiosity", do not guarantee a great sex.

Not everyone does the same performance. Erection time, is not the same in all men. If you do not need it, do not take it. Let alone in times when alcohol is consumed.

Besos.

But I have played one, with certain chicas. I am aware of some HCG usage, however, I can't add first hand knowledge. If today's designer pro-hormones were available when I was in my twenties, I probably would have first hand knowledge of HCG and a whole host of other products.

HCG, or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is a naturally occurring peptide hormone (in both men and women). In men, I believe it is secreted by the pituitary gland, since I don't think we have placentas. It is often used in bodybuilding as part of PCT (post cycle training) usually in conjunction with a SERM (like Clomid or Novladex or Torem) , following a cycle of anabolic steroids (AAS). Together, these chemicals are intended to help the body transition back to its normal production of testosterone, avoid gynecomastia (don't really want manboobs, do ya?) and retain the muscle mass accumulated during the AAS cycle. HCG actually helps reverse the ball-shrinking effects of AAS, but can have gyno side effects. However, it is the SERM that prevents the gyno symptoms. I have generally heard of them being run in conjunction (HCG and SERM) with the HCG being discontinued first so as to allow the SERM to offset any gyno impact of the HCG. Also, most conventional wisdom, for unconventional use of HCG, calls for cycling it from between 2-4 weeks and then being off it for at least 4 weeks. There are some people that believe that prolonged use might shut down the body's natural production of gonadotropins, permanently (which would be bad). Therefore, too much of a good thing, may not be such a good thing. If using it for PCT, it is recommended that you start gradually and see if your balls start dropping and growing before upping the dosage. Small doses are also effective, sometimes, at shrinking an enlarged prostate.

Drops create a chemical reaction which results in more production of this marvelous hormone T.Although it is 'tricking' the body into producing more T, it can suppress the bodily functions involved in the natural production of T.

The urologist warmed me in very simple and direct language: do not use this stuff for self medication for recreational sex. I can be dangerous depending on dosage and length of use. That's because you didn't tell him that you wanted to use it as PCT after running an H-drol / Andro stack, so you can pack on 20lbs of lean muscle mass in just four weeks! (just kidding)

12 hour erections pose a danger to the hydrolic system in the dick.Although, one can dream.

That is the reason for the warning on all the viagra and cialis boxes and labels. The off switch is more complex. 12 hour erections have too many risks to be a regular goal in recreational sex.You are correct. Vitamins V&C work by dilating capillaries while HCG mimics a naturally occurring hormone.

Chronic use of "love drops" hcg can result in the body failing to testosterone when the drops are stopped. From one of the steroid sites: "the suppressive to natural testosterone because it takes the place of LH. Since LH is manufactured in the pituitary because of the response of GnRH (gonadotropin releasing hormone) which in turn is secreted by the hypothalamus. Because the HCG mimics LH and is being supplied exogenously the hypothalamus will be given a signal to still stop producing GnRH, so no natural LH will be produced."

Leutenizing Hormone (LH) in your body. LH is a Gonadotropin. LH goes from the pituitary to your balls and makes the good stuff. No more LH, no more good stuff.

Risky businessDespite the above, I don't know (other than TL) guys running this stuff as a stand-alone. I have no idea what the long-term effects of occasional, episodic (recreational) use would be. I would wonder what the effects would be if one used it once or twice a week. Would the result be that one is 'tricking' the body to stop and then start these processes too often or is it only tweaking T production because it isn't in the system long enough to shutdown natural T production?

Would some with medical training please explain this stuff to all of us????? Recreational abusers rants on how great drop are is not a useful response.I will keep my ears open for an actual expert on the subject.
