In Argentina to buy dollars from a bank you have to show a pay stub from your employer and you are not allowed to buy more dollars than you could have earned!

I heard this last night from a girl that buys dollars at her bank!

To keep dollars in the bank, country, avoid money laundering?

TLThis has been happening for a long time. If you live here they check your cuit and make sure all are paid up if so pct of your income can go to doolars if no then no. Not the first time in Argentina and won't be the last. And Women almost always preffer hard currency or goods to paper trash money. Dollars, euros, gold or as marylin said "Diamonds are a girls best friend" LOL
