I heard it's really hard finding the flores in Buenos Aires. Have any of you gotten it? If so, how? .

Well, I lived there for about seven years and I was able to keep myself in weed, really shitty weed, about 20% of the time. And, I took a lot of risks getting it, and put in a lot of time and effort. As far as good weed goes, I got that exactly one time, at Tejano Libre's former restaurant from some European guy, can't remember where he was from. And it was frighteningly expensive. It could be a bit easier to find now; I've been gone for three years.
About half the time I bought weed, I had been told it was 'flores' or 'trippi' or some other bullshit. It never was, and in fact, except for the one time I got weed, all the times I bought weed it was the exact same shit. And that covers 2003-2012. The weed there is nasty and moldy and riddled with seeds. It has all been compacted and is a pain in the ass to deal with.

You can find flor, 5 grams, for 250 pesos, max 500 pesos (yea I know, big jump, just depends on quality of the flor. The "wood", that really shitty stuff, don't even bother! If you are paying higher. You're getting ripped off! BEWARE.
I would find the rasta looking dudes, the ones selling pipes on the streets, start a conversation, let them show you their stuff, and grow the balls and just ask them, "Hey, you think you can help me find some flor?" Or "Where can I find some flor to smoke?
Don't be direct and just come out and ask, otherwise they will be scared. Take your time, lower their defenses, eliminate all doubt that you are no a cop and JUST ASK!

How the fuck do you run out of weed when you had a year and a half to prepare for it? And in CA you need a script, and the weed there is more than the weed in CO. Basically CO rules, for weed. We are not out of weed as a state and I personally have some White Light, some Hashberry, some Jack Flash, and some Qleaner. I got a quarter of each for $158.64 total including tax, or $5.61 a gram. It's like $15 a gram in WA if you can even find it. Of course I get the medical price; recreational runs around $300 an ounce with tax here. Only out-of-staters and rubes do that.
So in Colorado you can legally smoke weed and then ride your 50 cc scooter with no helmet or registration or motorcycle license, and you can legally ride it either on the street or in the bike lane (or weaving randomly between the two), while openly carrying a pistol. All this assumes your THC level is less than however many fucking nanograms per whatever they put in the Driving While Baked law we have here. I don't know how many nanograms they decided on but I bet I wake up in the morning well above that level. At least that's my goal.
So fuck Washington. Come to Colorado. We have huge greenhouses just bursting with dank.

I think that 13 to 18 dollars a G is between normal and exuberant.

This time I got an ounce for $140.79 including tax, or $4.97 a gram. 1/2 of Aurora Indica, another 1/4 of the Qleaner which I really like, and 1/4 of Kosher Kush. I would say that prices have dropped about 30-40% in the 3 and a half years I've had the medical card. On the recreational side, sales are below expectations, especially to in-state residents. There are reports of many people walking out of the recreational stores when they hear the after-tax prices. So those will inevitably come down as well. Note that you have to look for coupons and deals to get the type of pricing I am experiencing.
Of course, if this were Argentina and demand was below expectations, they would obviously raise the price because they "have to cover their costs somehow." Argies don't understand:
1) contribution margin
2) breakeven point (can't understand that without understanding #1)
3) price elasticity of demand
4) income elasticity of demand
5) special order pricing
6) declining marginal cost, and
7) how to pour piss out of a boot
Look at what the argie posted about pot. Argies don't want to sell flowers to gringos, who have money. They would rather sell flowers to friends and family, who have less to no money. Although pot in general might be a normal good or even an inferior good (in the case of the paraguaya prensada), flowers are a luxury good. That means it's price inelastic so like TL said, they should want to sell it to gringos since they would be willing to pay more. The only reason that would not be true would be extreme scarcity, which gets me back to my point that it was pretty hard for the average gringo to find good bud in Argentina.
I get higher just sniffing this medical marijuana than I got from smoking that jodida paraguay prensada they got down there.

I'm guessing that it's about 11 bucks for an Argie. It was 10 for the past year if you were in their group.
13 is what it has been for a long time to a lot of people that I know.

As for "retail" - near ness and excedra and that area, the white, kinda largish newspaper stand that is right there at the intersection just before the strip clubs over by excedra, is who sells the stuff (Paraguay st?) IMHO, nose candy may be easier and better quality than the flores but that's just an educated guess. I don't dabble in either.

There is good weed to be had in Buenos Aires if you have the right contacts. Not the dirt weed from Paraguay. From my recent experience just as good as the high powered weed currently available in the USA. For what its worth, you can't purchase weed in Uruguay unless you are a citizen of that country, and in addition, the new government in Uruguay seems bent on scaling back the pot program there.

Several weeks ago I contacted Mac about getting some weed when he first showed up on the board posting he had access. I agreed to a high price of 2500 pesos for 10 gms. Because things were tight and I do not like to "mooch" off other peoples stash when we get together. The deal never materialized. During the first phone conversation he admitted he did not have anything at all. Plants not ready, delays, something about delivery charge etc.. About a week later he finds some and we coordinate the deal.
So the day of our agreed upon meeting at the mansion he tells me he does not go into peoples houses. I understand his security concern and but I tell him I cannot weigh or taste the product in a Starbucks. Plus what is safer than the mansion? He says if it is short in weight he'll make it up to me (Please! It took over ten days just to arrange delivery). On the phone I found him to be a pleasant young man but unreliable and untrustworthy.
Those of you who know me realize that when someone changes a deal at the last moment it's not gonna turn out well. Sorta like the chica who says BBJ in the club and pulls out a rubber in the room. Not gonna be a good session.
Anyway, that's my take.
He's quoting 18 for 2500 right now. It's not the prime shit but he says he can get better quality with more notice. The couple times I've dealt with him everything has been above board. And they were flowers. Not the best. But at 10.50 a g worth it. I just got a pm from the guy you're probably buying from right now. Told me 15 USD a g plus you have to put a deposit down month's in advance. Ridiculous terms.
Neither are ideal. Wish there was an ideal legit way to get good green in the city.

The difference between me and you is that i have more to lose than you in this situation. Anything can go down at the moment of meeting. There's a core group of forum members (of which Thomaso is one) who have gotten to know each other over the years. If you are going to sell to them you need to develop CREDIBILITY.
This city is full of scams and thieves and we have survived by sharing intel and taking a healthy skeptical attitude.
Your open self promotion of an illegal activity on a public forum gives me cause for concern. A lukewarm reference from Badman does not ease that concern.
May i respectfully suggest that there are better and certainly safer means to market your product. Word of mouth and good reputation is by far the best. Alternatively, you might want to check out the dark web.
