I know what it means, what I don't know is what shows up on the phone of someone I am calling. I'd walk into a Personal office and ask except that I don't think there is a Personal office these days. If I still knew some guys who were here at this time of year this woud have an easy solution. But the several guys who I knew and who used to be here around now have all voted with their feet. Any ideas on how to figure this out.

BTW - I am AllIWantIsLove but I messed up that password and no longer remember the password to the email account I was using many years ago when I setup that handle.

Thanks.

Thanks."Numeros Privados" is used to mean "Unknown Numbers", e.g. Numbers that the call recipient does not have in his/her list of contacts.

Bob, you could probably contact Jackson and he could probably restore your previous account.

If what you say is true they would ignore first time callers. That would make it hard to get new clients.

Hello, "Numeros Privados" means that the caller has disabled the caller ID.

That way on the called phone the Caller ID will not show the caller number, it will show "Numero Privado" or something like that, depending on the operator/language.

This feature is not enabled by default on mobiles.

Just call anyone from your mobile to make sure the the called mobile shows up your number.

I think this means they will not accept calls unless the number of the caller shows up. In other words, if you are blocking your number, they think you might be dangerous somehow, and they don't want to deal with you. They want to be able to track you down if you rip them off. The monger, on the other hand, does not want a bunch of random hookers, and their 840 boyfriends, to have his phone number, which is also perfectly sensible. This is probably one of the many reasons the good lord invented privados. A solution would be to have two phone chips. Use chip A for normal life and chip B for hookers, and swap the chips as soon as the appropriate arrangements are made with the hooker. Throw chip B away anytime there is a problem, while retaining the good hookers' numbers to use with eventual chips C, D, etc.

Now Google will tell if a number is spam or not which is even better.
