Results of an 8 hour slowdown
Gov't caves in once again! They want inflation to run rampant:
(from The Clarin)
So it's 2.16 to start and 24 cents per minute or 200 meters. Another increase coming in Nov. Or Dec. As follows: (another 9% or so)
(from the Clarin)
I hope the girls don't figure out this system of strike for a day and get immediate increases. It has worked for truckers, subway workers, oil workers, airline workers, etc. There is very little fiscal discipline here.
AS well, EEUU yesterday took away some preferencial trade status from Argentina (and other countries) That's what you get when you pal around with Chavez. Finally an article about increasing pensions challenged that the court ruling will harm the fiscal surplus Arg. Has built up.
I can see where these Peronist folks give away as much as they can and why this country flops about every 10 years.

Workers at the National Mint in Mendoza announced they will be going on strike next week.
It seems they want to make less money!
