I am totally puzzled with your post. If you speak fluent Spanish, why are you having trouble to negotiate? Brisa is a very nice person and she is quite reasonable with money. I am flabbergasted seeing the quotes for this place. Anybody paying more than 200 P in Café Orleans must be in a desperate state of mind. So far, I never paid more than 150 P for few hours at my apartment. I only go with girls who accept this offer, otherwise, I move on. I also try to avoid the short time hotel in the corner. They always push for it. I did it once. Never again. You are essentially under their total control. Unless you know the chica well or your living condition doesn't permit you to bring her at your place, don't give in to this option. Also, it costs you another 40 or 50 Peso anyway.
I know at least one girl in this Café, who did not budge from her 300 Peso price tag in last 5 years. So there will be occasional price aberration. Just don't bother with them.

Been to Orleans two or three times. It has always been fairly full with girls at most of the tables. I end up sitting at the bar for lack of an open table. Well that is problematic for me. To take a look I have to turn around and the place is so small I am right close to half the girls and can't see the other half as they are blocked by columns, part of the bar, etc.

I always try to "window shop" before I go in. A couple of years ago that used to work pretty well. But more recently they usually have the curtains closed. I've sometimes walked in, looked around, and left. I don't think I've ever had a problem getting a table. But if I had to sit at the bar I think I'd just sit with my back to the bar and face the tables. Don't worry about people being able to figure out why you are there. They knew that when you walked in!
