As for taking the bus. The next time I won't hesitate except that fucking Guia T book uses such small font I cannot read a fucking thing (bi-focals? What the shit are they? They're for old farts!).

Also, the bus system is more complex than the one-route types found in California and since I don't have a very high IQ, I am studying the Guia T book 4 hours a day to decipher the Buenos Aires bus routing system. I think by January, I should know at least one bus route-perhaps 2?

One thing I will do different in January is not accept so quickly when the chica moves from 200 to 150 pesos in a flash. I am going to try to lower my costs to about 130 pesos per fuck for the club girls. Don't know if that's attainable because I am not a regular but it's something to try for.

My sommelier and I had two very nice young prostitutes over for dinner tonight. I made poached salmon and asparagus with bearnaise sauce, and some potatoes I called Hongroise but I just pulled the recipe out of my ass. It was great. My bearnaise sauce is so good you could put it on a piece of drywall and eat it. My sommelier had selected some white and red wines that were probably excellent but WTF do I know about wine? I'm pretty sure they had alcohol in them.

The dinner conversation was very good and we discussed politics, race, traveling, movies, and I forget what else. The women were quite intelligent and savvy.

Then afterwards it was a little weird because I met this gal at the mansion so assumed she was on the program but nothing had been discussed. Sommelier and friend said they were going to hit the sack and so I asked if we should stay there and use the spare room or go to my apartment. She said "como quieras" so I decided we should split since there were a lot of dirty dishes.

In the taxi she was not too affectionate but when we got to my place it was fine. She is a little plump with BIG TITS and damn I needed some big tits. Lots of fun. She had to work in the morning so wanted to leave soon after which was just fine by me. Money still had not been discussed. I gave her 120 and she was happy. I'll fuck her again in a month or so when I need big tits again.

It's now past 5 AM and I'm just getting home from a night out on the town. I hung out with a cool American dude I met a few months ago that lives here. I also went out with these two young Scandanavian girls that I know here in town. I also went out with one of my friends that is a Porteno and he introduced me to his friends. All super cool guys. All from the elite families of Argentina. The ones with summer homes, winter homes, homes in Miami (that type). Cool ass guys.

We went to this new popular club called Jet and I was told it was hip. If you go there, avoid eating there and just go for the club as the food sucks. Perhaps some of the worst sushi I have ever eaten in my life. Thursdays are supposed to be good but it was almost all dudes. A true sausage fest. The ratio was about 7 guys for every girl. They did have some hot girls though. It's a trendy club with mostly 20's-30's crowd. We had a good time laughing and these Portenos really liked hanging out with Americans. It was interesting that one of them kept trying to talk to my buddy Khofoo about the Boston Redsox. They knew the owner of the club so before we left the owner sent over complementary beers and a bottle of champagne. These guys really know how to live it up. I made some new friends tonight. They invited me to go skydiving next weekend with them.

We decided to head to a club and they suggested- Cocodrillos. I haven't been here in about 2 years. The place is truly hit or miss but tonight was really miss. Honestly, I didn't see one girl I would have pulled out. Hell, I wouldn't sleep with any of those girls for free. The place has really gone downhill, IMHO. My friends knew the owner so we had no cover charge but I doubt I'll be back here anytime soon.


I'm damn tired but can't fall asleep now from drinking so many Red Bulls. Oh well. Still a fun night but pound for pound I'd rather spend the money on a hottie from the Recoleta clubs.

The article says that if you have erectile dysfunction or unreliable erections that the cause might be blockages in the arteries of the penis and that such blockages might indicate blockages elsewhere in the body such as the heart. The article also points out (as we have been hearing for a long time but it can't hurt to repeat it ...) that if you are already at risk for a heart attack or stroke that the ED drugs can increase that risk.

The article is not precise about the research it is based on except to say that it was conducted by Italians.

Regarding Cafe Dickhead:

This does not belong in the restaurant section because Cafe Dickhead operates on an irregular basis. The poached salmon and the rest was just excellent, one of the best meals I have had in BA.

Day 6 - Don't Cry for Me Argentina

Great last night with a couple of snags in the early evening. Went to find Rio Cabaña at around 7 p.m., but it was, unfortunately, closed. I could have sworn I read there was a day shift, but maybe I got there too late to catch it. Okay, on to dinner at Rey Castro before the clubs, I figure. I call to make sure they are serving Cuban food (I went in earlier in the week, and suprisingly, they only serve Cuban food on Friday and Saturday nights! The rest is happy hour crap you could get at your local Chile's). Why do I want Cuban food in Buenos Aires? You can't get it where I live. Yes, yes, the woman assures me on the phone, 1) we have ropa vieja, black beans and rice, the whole nine yards on the menu, and 2) we are currently open for dinner. Of course she neglects to mention that these two facts are mutually exclusive. The Cuban menu doesn't start until 10 p.m. I should have known better.

I caught up with a fellow monger this evening in Recoleta (a real good guy...I'll let him introduce himself at his own discretion) and we headed to Madahos for his first BA club action. We got there really early, but it was good to relax and watch the chicas showing up for work. Much more and better talent than when I was there last Sunday. My compatriot calls over a hot, young thing from Paraguay (pal, I was there for an hour after you left...she was easily still the hottest chica in the club...congrats!) and was soon out the door. I ended up waiting around a while, which was good, because the girl I ended up choosing was just arriving when I saw her - a 22 year old, very pretty blonde (think a buxom version of the girl on Scrubs...same smile and look to her) named Gimena. Her attitude was amazing and she was by far my favorite session of the whole trip. Tonight, Madahos delivered, and I now know I'll be back in Argentina sooner than later.

I'm sitting here waiting for my flight to Bogota with a one day lay-over, and I'll post on the Colombia board what I find. Thank you everyone for the information and recommendations I utilized on this very worthwhile trip to BA.

If you don't mind my asking, what were the charges for the Madaho's services? When I was there last, they were pushing for 300 pesos for a short time. When I wasn't interested, the chica left; no negotiation. Is it still like that?

Hi Stowe...here is part of my report from Dec 2003, but it was just a snapshot....Andres is the expert on this area so reading his board will give you all the info you need. On my previous trips I've largely been travelling around the country with just a few days in BA at the end....not nearly enough time to get to know the city and it always felt very pressured, not to mention the fact that after 4-5 days of trying to do touristy things during the day and partying all night I returned home with sleep deprivation and looking badly in need of a holiday instead of just having one! Hope to make another visit in November and have at least 7-10 days in BA this time and plan to explore this area thoroughly so will do so and report back.

A NIGHT OUT IN FLORES

From reading Andres posts, I wanted to visit Flores. I was a bit worried that it might be a little dangerous, but it sounded like an interesting area so I decided to make the trip. Its 10-12 pesos one way from Recoleta.
Flores rocked. Not sure what its like normally as I went there during a ‘feriado’ or holiday week end (Saturday night), but instead of being worried about being picked off and mugged because nobody would be about, I was more in danger of being trampled by the number of people on the street. The main area is about 7 blocks along Rivadavia around Rivadavia 7500 and on the Saturday night there must have been at least 2,000 people out partying…that’s no exaggeration as I counted 5 open discotecas so it was probably more. Of course that meant that there were hundreds of cute argentine girls out on the street….this would be a good place I think to meet non-pros, though you’d need to speak Spanish. I tried, with no success sadly. Off the main streets, there were a lot less people so stay on the main streets where the people are….now trouble can happen anywhere and though I didn’t get the feel of this area being that dodgy, don’t take any risks. But overall I’d say it had the vibe of being a good solid working class/lower middle class area, without the elitism maybe of Recoleta or barrio norte, just normal people out for a good time. I thought it was an excellent night out and would definitely return.

The mongering clubs are all located 10-15 yards off the main streets, so as to be slightly inconspicuous.

I went to;

Envidia.
Its off the Rivadavia 7500 block…I think the actual street is Arguerich.
5 pesos entry, with 1 drink.
Drinks for the chicas 20 pesos
Rooms on premises….40 for 30 mins, 80 for 1 hour.

You enter and there’s a long bar on the left of a rectangular room. Immediately to your right when you go in is a pool table. You sit at the bar or at tables. At the far end of the room is a stage where sometimes a chica does a striptease. As with all these places, it’s hit and miss. There were 4 chicas I would have done, out of about 25. From time to time a chica will hit on you but they are not pushy. The girl I wanted was with a group of lads so I didn’t try anyone here. The downside of it being a feriado was all too evident later on in the evening as this place filled up with noisy young kids….I think Andres called them pests in a previous post and I know how he felt.

La Fuente
Located in calle La Fuente just off Rivadavia 7300 block.

You pay the bouncer and go up some steps, past a couple of open doors and through a 1-way mirror door. Straight in front is a bar, to the left some tables and chairs, to the right a space and then a lounge area. It’s quite small. The girls all wear a schoolgirl uniform which is quite sweet…and they seemed young. Nothing illegal, but definitely late teens/early 20s rather than the early/mid/late 20s that you normally see in the clubs. Maybe the schoolgirl outfits make them look younger. There were approx 10 girls in there, 2-3 I would do. The others were friendly and not hardened. You can buy them a drink and feel them up, all quite fun. They did try one trick I didn’t like. When I spoke to the bouncer….he told me the prices included the room. Upstairs, they tried to charge me an extra 15 pesos. Soon sorted that one out. I went for 30mins, chica was very sweet, a fun experience. Otherwise I liked this place.

Avenida Alberdi 2800 block, cross street is Avenida San Pedrito. Avenida Alberdi runs parallel to Rivadavia, 2 blocks to the south.

You pay the bouncer and go in and sit down. The bar is on your right when you go in, to the left is a raised area with tables. Then a chica brings your drink and change and sits down with you and explains the prices. This is where I regret losing my notes. I thought this place had real potential, but I went there early in the evening when it had just opened, and meant to go back but have any more leche after seeing the chica at La Fuente and was drunk and anyway had to get back to Palermo to see John Digweed dj (superb as usual). There were 15 plus girls in there and 5 of them I would do. The one who bought me my drink was a 7, she could have worked in Madahos. In fact I asked her why she wasn’t which she liked. I cant would definitely go back to this place and I wish I had done the girl who bought me my drink…tall, slim, morocha, spinner, nice smile, good attitude. I regret that. If you’re in the area….check it out and let us know what you think.

Avenida Directorio 2800 block, cross street is Avenida San Pedrito. Avenida Directorio is also parallel to Rivadavia, 4 blocks to the south.
It’s confusing because there’s an old, closed version of this across the street, but the new one is on the 2800 block.
I walked into this place without paying, and walked straight out. 10 girls in there, none of which I would do. I got a flyer saying “Arancel $20” whatever that means (Andres?). I wouldn’t say it’s a dump but didn’t see anything worth bothering with either.

Overall I would say that Flores can’t compare overall with the quality of the Recoleta and Microcentro clubs, but a night out there is definitely worthwhile and makes a nice change. The girls seemed a lot friendlier, and it’s cheaper too.
