Problem with threads not showing in Forum's thread list
I fixed this problem and I'm going to elaborate a little because I realized something about coming into the thread display from the view of the list of forums (again, different from coming into a thread from the front page's last updated threads list).
First, the cause:
When threads are created with the new tab system, we have to designate what kind of thread it is, based on which forum Tab is active (see below). A regular user cannot create "Main" threads, and there was a bug that was allowing the New Thread button to display with the Main tab active, if you had visited one of the other tabs (like User Blogs) and returned to Main. When that thread is created, the software was choking and while not registering it as a Main Thread, it wasn't registering it as a User Blog either and the query didn't see it when the correct tab was clicked.
I fixed that. Now, a little commentary about an issue (we'll call it a "feature", maybe) related to seeing the last post displayed in the Forum view, where forums are listed and on the right they show what the last thread updated in that forum is.
When you come into the thread listing from a forum view, you are presented with whatever "Forum Tabs" are appropriate for that forum. Most forums have "Main Threads","User Blogs" and "Forum Photos". Forums that have been designated as forums where escort ads will appear as actual advertisements related to that forum, and both the actual Escort Ads and Escort Reviews threads (which list all escorts, not filtered by a specific forum) will see those additional tabs as well.
The first time you come into a list of threads for a given forum, the software has to decide which tab to display. If you haven't selected a tab previously, it will default to "Main". If you have, it will default to that tab you previously visited.
The issue here is that if you come into the list of thread for a given forum through the forum display (list of forums) , you will not automatically see the last updated thread in that particular list. For example, if the last thread updated was a "User Blog" and you hadn't come into the thread listing before, the tabs will default to "Main Threads" and the "User Blog" thread that was last updated will not be seen until you click on the "User Blogs" tab. If you've been into that view before and left from a User Blog, returned to the forum view, and clicked another forum and that forum had a Main Thread as the last updated thread, the tabs will default to User Blog and you won't see the last updated thread until you click on "Main Threads" tab.
We have to think a little about how to resolve this issue so there is no confusion. It turns out to be a bit complicated. And I only want to do it once. So hang in there if you're using that method of reviewing the forums and keep that in mind if you don't immediately see the last updated thread when you look at the thread listing.
I would take it one step further
Similar to a chica has a for sure deal in hand to earn 1500 pesos in a single night. But insists on trying to gouge an extra 50 pesos that ultimately kills the deal. They won't see this as a loss of 1500 for sure revenue, or even spend 50 to make 1500 and therefore come out net ahead 1450. They'll just see it if they accepted this deal, somehow they lost 50 pesos.
I don't think they view it so much as a loss of 50 pesos but rather that you STOLE 50 pesos from them.
So if a chica originally agrees to a LTD at X per day, and then one day decides she is worth more (most likely because she thinks you can afford more, not because her services have improved) and now the deal needs to be X+ an additional Y going forward. If you don't agree to the price bump, they may or may not continue the deal at the original X. However if they do, every single time they come over they are going to think you are stealing whatever the value of Y is from them.
The idea of a "for sure bird being in her Bush having greater value than two maybe's back at the club" just doesn't translate into the laws of chicaland.
It's not just limited to chicaland though, it goes for a lot of things. I know artisanos that just don't have any clue about volume discounts. They make a keychain out of brass wire to sell in some faria, the keychain sells for 30 pesos but costs them 5 pesos in time and material. If you own a shop and want to buy 50, most likely the cost is going to be 150P. It's why El Alamo has virtually no competition giving away free beer to hotties. An Argie bar owner just couldn't do that. Even if he tripled his sales and doubled profit, he would be so crazy about the beer he was GIVING / having stolen, it would drive him crazy.
Messed Up Thread Organization
Something is messed up in the organization of threads. From the main Forums page if I navigate to Massage Parlors and Spas I see only two threads:Massage Parlor Recommemdations and Colmegna Spa.But if,again from the main Forums page,I click on the entry under Last Report for Massage Parlors and Spas (currently "Prana Masajes #2" by Sunseeker) that takes me to a thread named "Prana Masajes #2".In other words, there seems to be a thread named "Prana Masajes #2" but the only two threads listed for Massage Parlors and Spas are Massage Parlor Recommemdations and Colmegna Spa.
Also, when I tried to post this to Site Administration I learned that while, according to the main page,Site Admin.Has 34 threads and 753 posts, when I navigate to Site Admin.Sometimes I see no threads and other times I see 6 threads.
