drgn....good points....I have made an error or two in my day....usually after too much to drink.....so if you date a certain chica from Cutty Sark and she shows you fotos of herself doing it doggie style with slightly overweight older gentleman, do me a favor...grab the foto and rip it to shreds.....ps....if she ever posts it to the net I will claim it is a fake foto....my head pasted on someone else's body.....

Ezy, that brings me to a big rule…no photo's, ever. I was in a short stay hotel in Recoleta with my favorite twosome when one pulls out a camera to start taking nude photos. I practically freaked! Why? Because I was taught years ago to be a "ghost" and photos that connect you with a time and place, no matter how seemingly inconsequential, can destroy some well-laid groundwork.

Citydude, you can go one step farther by using the address of a friend in another city (preferably one NOT connected to you formally like a relative, coworker, neighborhood buddy, college roommate, etc.) It's for emergency purposes so who cares about the distance.

Guys, it IS possible to thoroughly "sanitize" your belongings so that only the most committed searcher will turn up anything (e.g. really interested government agency). I maintain several bank, brokerage and credit card accounts. Some of them are only used when traveling, and when I travel they're the ONLY ones I use. BTW, the amounts are minimized to lower the risk of a potential loss and the addresses have nothing to do with where I actually live. All deposits or credit card payments are made via postal money order or cashiers check from a random bank purchased by a friend. To this day, my closest friends and family still laugh about what they don't know about me (no more than 20 % of the total puzzle in any one place; enough to help you in an emergency but not enough to wreak havoc if things get ugly.)

This may seem like overkill/paranoia to some of you, but the fact is there's enough information in the average person's trash to seriously f--- with their life. And as your income goes up, so does the potential for trouble, unless effective countermeasures are put in place. Jeez, I've already said too much :-)

"Trouble" could be something as simple as someone trying to take some of your hard earned assets through a frivolous lawsuit, or a psycho ex-girlfriend deciding to "get even" and sue for palimony, or cyber thieves choosing to "borrow" your identity for a little while. The easiest way to avoid enemy fire is don't look like an f---ing target!

American has lowered it's rate again. The Nov 4 to Nov 14 roundtrip rate from MIA to BA is now 345.90 which includes all taxes and fees. I paid 375.50 a few days ago. Great rate. Oh the debauchery!!!!!

While were on the subject of privacy and anonymity I have been told by more than one person that one of few email accounts that is unbreakable (encryption) and untraceable is an account with hushmail.com. Anybody have any info on this?

Oh, no! Jackson, please don't let a few dopes ruin the day. I just got back from BA, and owe all of you frequent posters a big debt. How about just zapping the jerks?

Unfortunately, my visit was mostly for business, so my playing was substantially limited. When you have a 9am meeting, you want to be relatively sober and odor-free. This meant I couldn't hit the clubs, but had to count on internet chicas, a few of the daytime bars, and one cat house.

Previous posts were correct--if you want to contact an internet chica, take four or five names/numbers for every one you expect to meet. Most had voice-mail, and many never returned the calls. On this issue, I felt screwed because I had to wait around in the hotel for the call-backs, and that limited my time for walking around, shopping, eating, etc. For future reference, is it possible to rent a cellphone for a week or two? Oh, and there's a chica at sensualbaires who uses a cover picture from Playboy as her ad...don't go there; the picture must have been taken 15 years and 40 pounds ago! Regrettably, (or fortunately!) I don't remember her name. Just don't go there!

Thanks to Tio Otto, I visited the Colmenga Spa several times--got steamed, showered, massaged, manicured, pedicured, etc, etc. for about $40 US. In fact, if you have to check out of your hotel in the early afternoon before an evening flight out of BA, the Colemenga is a great place to spend the afternoon. And as Tio Otto said, they always manage to tickle your scrotum about 45 minutes into the massage and ask if you want "relax completo manual," which I don't think needs any translation. I declined, wanting to save my contributions for a "non-manual" experience. They weren't bummed by the turndown.

I dropped into the Orleans a number of times. My impression was that there were fewer chicas then in the past. I would guess that chicas in the Orleans and similar places have counted on local clients in the past, where the clubs cater more to the tourist community. I imagine that the local business is way off with the economy, and that the Orleans, et al, no longer produce well for the chicas. Pity, as this is one of the few day time possibilities.

The one place I went to on several occasions was the cathouse on French. Very nice. Good quality chicas, quiet atmosphere, discretion seemed to rule. There have to be many more places like the place on French. Does anybody have addresses, or, more importantly, phone numbers. I'm going back to BA in October (rats! still a business trip) and will report on the current status of any places posters might recommend. When I have my schedule, I'll post the dates and a contact e-mail--I'm fluent in Spanish (Porteño accent), so I could help a speechless gringo. Besides, it's more fun that way.

Thanks for the mention yesterday, it's always a pleasure to help people not too familiar with my favorite place on earth! I've been to BA three out of the last four years and am planning on trying to get there again for a quick trip sometime in November.

As for the indiscretion of these chicas, I can attest to that from one of my ex-Argentinean chicas who was very indiscreet during a week of fun last year when I flew her to the states and put her up in a local hotel. She left faxes from other amigos lying around with their names and phone numbers on them and she used to talk enough about some of her other amigos that I know what companies a few of them work for as well as some of their first and last names. As oldguy confirmed, you definitely need to print out lots of girls from the internet. Bring your print outs (yes, print them out. I don't care if you have your computer, it's still more conveneint to just go through your stack of papers. It will save valuable time). Plus, you can scribble notes on the piece of paper easily.

Don't make the same mistake as him though. If you don't get through to the girl you can leave a message. Some will call you back some won't. But after you leave the message don't wait around for her to call back. Move on to your next girl. If the other girl calls back just schedule with her later during that day/night or later in your stay.

BA is definitely a city where a cellphone comes in handy. But if you don't speak any spanish it might not be too valuable as many of the chicas don't speak any spanish. But they they enough for you to get your point across (i.e. your address, the time, the amount of money, etc.). Some hotels rent cellphones, some don't.

Stick with the well reviewed internet sites. I can't tell you how many guys I know that had the bait and switch with sites like sensualbaires and other sites.

Lastly, if you guys come across interesting places post them. That is how the next guy finds out. Places like Colmegna prove it. I originally came across that site by chance doing a search on the web before my first trip. I know many dudes have been there since and had a good time.

As posted countless times... no one is gonna ruin BA. Yeah, there are more Americans going down but not so many that it's going to change things. I know some chicas that moved to neighboring countries because there was not enough money in the chica business in Buenos Aires (lots and lots and lots of competition). Some have started to come back because tourism is picking up some. Any one that has taken economics classes in college can tell you there has to be an equalibrium of supply and demand to bring out the best talent.

P.S. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER mention this board to any chicas. I'm not sure DownBA how you can assume that the guy is the same dude as a user of this board but I guess anything is possible with these chicas. The reason of a "private" board isn't to be some sort of 'country club'. It's for security and a better outlet to share information with guys that are trusted, that actually go down to BA and will benefit the most from the information. Saint, there's no assuming going on at all here, one of the platynum girls told me she knew one of the boardmembers and mentioned his name by the name he uses on the board. I know this may be a rude awakening but I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers here...I'm just trying to agree with those who mentioned a lack of discretion on the part of some of these girls and illustrate the point without mentioning the name of the chica or the boardmember.

As for cell phones in BA I have to tell you fellas thinking of getting one that it might be great for getting calls from the chicas but as for making them, don't ever forget that one of BA's WELL established businesses is these "locutorios" or "telefonicas" as they're called....phone call centers that are practically as abundant as the awesome "parilla al carbon" places that you see. These places give you your own private "cabina" as they're called, total privacy and the calls are dirt cheap due to the competion. If you're doing legitimate business down in BA as I do between sheet wrestling sessions, these "cabinas" also have a nice tabletop to write and work on. I found them indispensable while I was miles away from my hotel and had a half dozen phone calls to make before I got back to the hotel.

While I'm mentioning these places, this is where you want to go to call home too since their international rates are dirt cheap too. All you have to do is walk in and tell the most likely VERY cute chica at the counter "cabina por favor" and she'll hand you a card with a number on it that corresponds to the booth number you're being assigned. These places come complete with yellow and white pages for practically any area in Argentina and you can also plug your laptop in if you want to check your emails or surf the internet for chicas. You pay the cutie at the counter on your way out so you never have to drop coins in as you do while you're standing at the corner street phone.

So personally I think the cell phone might be a dispensable luxury with all these thousands, literally thousands of phone booths all around la Capital Federal. Happy calling and happy hunting fellas, DownBA

Well I have been away for a little while. I was a light poster on the older forum.

Well it brings no better joy to my life that I will be back in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile from November until February. Especially Argentina, as there is no argument that Argentina’s women are the best in the world. That goes for looks, personality, and oh yes, never had a problem with getting it up with these angels, even if I had a little to many Cuba Libra’s. :)

When I went to BA, in the past I always ended up at Recoleta. I never went to Playwoman or Blacks. But I did go to Affaire, and a place right next to it. What was the name of that bar, hmmm? Anyway I never really liked those bars, as I always seemed to get attacked at the door.

What I usually did was go to the Sports Bar on Recoleta, and try to pick up a local, which was not that difficult. If I didn't score there, I would usually end up at Newport pub. The paradox there was I usually took home a Brazilian.

When I go back I definitely will have to try to visit more places., like Blacks, and Playwoman.

AIRFARE TIP: Some good “hidden” fares on Travelocity for EZE (Buenos Aires). Go to www.travelocity.com, and enter your home city in the FROM line, EZE in the TO line. DO NOT enter dates, click on "MY DATES ARE FLEXIBLE”, then fiddle around with the available dates. They make this a little difficult because they don’t want biz travelers using it. Currently getting good availability for many dates from 11/2002 to 6/2003, , on several airlines for $498 RT from LAX, $280RT from Miami, etc. I use the “farewatcher” feature to keep me up on the latest hidden fares. Caught a $208 RT fare to Costa Rica in February that was only on for four hours, may have been a mistake, but they honored it.

Your point about private groups has merit. I wanted to pass on some detail regarding chicas at the place on French, but don't feel I can. At least one of them reads the forum and commented told me personal details (which I didn't want) about the identity of one of the posters. I guess the issue is, how do you go private without locking out other who may be new, but potentially valuable contributors? Like me, for instance!

I'm taking a trip down south in the next couple of weeks and I'm torn between Honduras, where I can get a cheap hotel that allows me to have "guests" anytime without being monitored or having to pay or BA. In Honduras I pay a whopping $18 a night for this luxury, I'm willing to pay more in Argentina, but not much maybe $30-40 night. Are there good hotels in BA that offer what I'm looking for? What are the names and rates? I'm buying my ticket on Friday and leaving on 10/7, so please respond quickly. Any good cities or towns outside of BA would be great to know about too.

This is my first post in WSG. I have been a reader for months.
Thanks to all you guys who submitted great reports.
You guys have convinced me to take my first trip down to BA.

IMHO, I think that we need more specific information on
the girls. Such as pictures, personal observations, and contact
information. I have doubts that all these girls look exactly like in
their pictures and I don't like to waste time waiting for a girl
to show up at my apartment only to find her unattractive.

Anyway, I always take many pictures (and video) when I

Miami....re: exchange....wait until you get to Buenos Aires to exchange money. You will receive a much better rate. There is an exchange booth in the luggage area before you clear customs, and a bank in the main terminal as you leave the customs/immigration area. The rate on the free market in Buenos Aires should be about 3.6 to one....slightly less in the airport....so I usually exchange a small amount at the airport and wait until I am checked into my hotel, then venture out to a casa del cambio to exchange more....

There are other website if you're looking for pictures. I'll email you of a few sites. I stopped sending out pictures do to the sheer numbers of emails asking for them. I also will not send out a girl's picture anymore or post it if she asks me not to.

Ezy is right. Just wait till you get there. My first trip I exchanged money here and got raped. NO need to. Just do it there.

Also, Miami. I do think you're being a little unrealistic in expecting to do no legwork of your own. You can't expect to have no problems at all. I respect what you're saying about the girl's privacy, but I think
it is also in the girl's interest to have her info posted because
I'm sure that sometimes these girls get sent back because
the customer expected something different from what they saw

then I know that at least I won't have to send her back based on

Also, someone looking at the file can be more sure about what

In a word…relax. After reading that post, it's apparent that your "frame" for this whole experience is one of "its us versus them". And if you truly ARE from Miami, (and not well heeled with a perfect body), I can fully understand the source of that set of expectations. My recommendation is that you go back to May 2002 and start reading ALL of the longer travel reports. We've posted a lot of information about our actual experiences. What you'll find when you do that is a large disconnect between those reports and the "negative frame" you seem to have already placed around your upcoming adventure in beautiful BsAs.

I don't know you. I know nothing about your level of skill with women inside or outside "the hobby". But, what I do know is that people have a tendency to find what they're looking for. So, if you want it to be a struggle, if you want to spend your time proving that you have the money and the control, if you want to invest energy in "not taking shit from these girls and making them obey", then you certainly have that option and you'll have the kind of experience that matches THAT particular set of beliefs. If, however, you were to READ THOSE POSTS and align your attitude with what's presented in those posts, you'll find yourself having a much better adventure. It's totally up to you.

I have found that being nice to the girls. Treating them as a girlfriend, that is, joking around with them, opening doors for them, making it look like I picked her up a regular bar, offering them chocolates and tea and good dinners and great breakfasts, etc ..., gets them in a better mood.

From conversations with these girls I have found that many of them are unhappy that a series of circumstances has led them to become "comfort women." These girls are held in contempt by society, they are "putas" in the eyes of everyone.

Also there's a lot of abuse that a lot of these girls get-- from the club owners, from the customers, from the other girls-- therefore, oftentimes, they are thankful when someone treats them nicely.

I've had girls that really went the distance with me and told me that the reason that they were so acrobatic with me was because I was sweet to them and that if they didn't like the customer they would just lie there and wait for him to stop humping.

I like to create a fiction of civility and courtship. I want my dick teased and pleased, and if being extra nice gets the job done, so be it.

Damn Drgn. I already liked your "online persona" from your posts while you were in BA but even more after reading your response to Miami. Guys, attitude guys a long way down in Buenos Aires and everywhere else in the world.

Some other things to consider. If your a dick with a girl from one of the clubs don't think you won't be known as a dick with the other girls. These girls talk about EVERYTHING with eachother. It would blow your mind. They talk about how much you paid them, your personality, if you're good in bed. Some of you might not care but don't expect to get great service with other girls later on in the club if right out of the gate they all think you're a dick.

I've never had an "us vs. them" attitude. For the guys that are only going down 4 days. Yeah, your time is valuable. Hell, everyone's time is valuable. I don't care if you're an executive making $200,000+ / year or a blue coller worker making $35,000 a year. I know there are a lot of post to go through. Many of us (namely me) post too often to this board. I promise I'll quit. It always takes a few weeks for me to come off of the "BA high". But this board to many of us has become kind of a community.

I've met many of you in person, I have lunch with one member every week since meeting him, talked to several on the phone, emailed with several (some around the world). You all are a bunch of great gentleman! OK..I'll stop. I plan on being in BA at least two maybe 3 more times before the year is up. I know a ton that are going down in October and November.

I'd also love to read from guys that might have been disappointed with BA. What didn't you like? So far, every guy I've emailed with after going since May (about 25+) has loved it! That should tell you something.

P.S. You should know that your actions are not without consequences. I know of one chica who was with a guy last week. He was doing an all nighter. The dude was staying at the Alvear Palace. Anyway, while she was sleeping the guy tried slipping his 'willy' into her unprotected. Not cool..... When she woke up she was so pissed she made a scene. She starts yelling and screaming and the hotel management comes up. For those that haven't stayed in the Alvear Palace...this place is majestic. I'm sure the dude was embarrassed to no end.

So we danced, and, a little while later I tell that I want her to come with me and I want to know how much.

She first says 150 pesos. I say agree to that price. She says, "No, wait. 200 pesos." I say, "Fine." She says, "250 pesos." I say, "That's good, too." Then she flakes out and starts begging me to buy her another drink and that when she finishes the next drink she will go with me. I then realize that she won't be coming with me no matter how many drinks I buy her.

So, I told her, "Look. Clearly you don't like it here and you don't like what you do. And you don't like me. So, let's call it off. My bad. I should have known from the way you were sitting by yourself staring at the wall."

She thanked me and kissed me on the cheek and said she was sorry. That was my first and last time in Sodoma.

One more comment about the Alvear Palace story. You'd be surprised at the number of women who OFFER to do the deed unprotected when you make them feel the way they want to feel. (Not that I recommend such activity; it's just a positive statement about the way the evening is going!)

There is a difference between a "sex worker" and a "woman who does sex work". One of the greatest gifts you can give the second is to help her forget what she does for a living. And, when you're able to effectively do that, you both cross a dividing line where it stops being YOUR fantasy and starts becoming HERS. She's able to mentally enter a place where there are no smoky bars with loud music, no ugly/smell/grossly overweight guys pumping away on her, no guys treating her like shit just because they have money.

When it's HER fantasy, she becomes the one that doesn't want it to end. She becomes the one that doesn't want to talk about money. She becomes the one who RIPS OFF THE CONDOM and tries to mount you unprotected while French kissing you passionately. Because for that moment, however long it lasts, you cease being her "client" and become her "lover". And as I mentioned in a previous post, there are certain rules and limitations that apply with a "client". When you're her "lover" those rules and limitations simply vanish…

I understand what you are saying.
I really didn't want to make it out as a "us vs them" although
I understand how it came off that way.
I was just trying to say that some of these girls have very
negative attitude towards guys who want to pay them for a
good time even though that is there job.
Maybe it is because I am younger and am not used these types
of girls with attitudes (when I'm paying them good money).
I noticed that some of these types of hardened girls try to get
pushy with everything including how much they should receive
and how the session should go. But after I tell them, "Look, I'm
paying and I should decide how the session goes', they usually
reduce the attitude and are more flexible.
Anyway, IMHO.

I know that all girls are not like this and there are many
sweathearts out there. I treat these girls very well an usually

well, this is why we love b.a. so much. big generalization, but the attitude/girl you describe is more typical with an e. european or even american. in b.a., you'll find most the girls, including the web sites (assuming you stick to the 3 or so "approved/endorsed" ones - see past posts), are not that way. they are sweet, provide gfe, and will expect you to have your way (as appropriate).

This is my first post on the forum. While searching for information to use for a vacation trip I came across the forum and it provided me with all the information I needed to decide on BA as my destination. To satisfy my curiosity I had to read all the 2002 posts and some of the older posts. With all the knowledge I had gained organized on a few pages and with a lot of printed material of chicas from several websites I arrived in BA for a twelve day stay around the labor day weekend. The chicas were nice pleasant girls without any attitude. As a rule I didn't see a need to negotiate for a low price as I was quoted a low of 80 pesos/hr and a high of 200 pesos/1.5 hr. I'll post another message with names and quoted prices for the benefit of those who are confused about the price structure.

To all those who have BA on their radar screen and are concerned about going I recommend you take the leap. If a 50+ year old guy without language skills can have a great time you can.

I also posted this in the "General Section" as a response to some dude that was crying about receiving some Provencial money. Guys, as I've posted before, make sure you're getting Federal Notes (Will say Banco Central de Republica Argentina).

It's YOUR responsibility to check your change when getting money converted. Also, when getting change from stores. I've never had any problem with this but I know a few dudes that got some notes that were not Federal notes.

For those of you that are kind of slow on the uptake of processing info.... I've made a visual aid for you at the site below. Notice in picture number 6/6. Their peso note is the same size as our US Dollar. Also, note the security measures in their peso's just like our newer bills. They also have a foil strip in them that will glow under a black light. The casa de cambia near Etoile always shines the black light when giving change so you can see it. Also note that many exchange places will give you an even better rate of exchange if you're exchanging more than $500 US at a time.

Howdy. I usually frequent to Seoul, NYC and Toronto forums, but I've been reading this and the Brazilian forums with great interest the last few months. Anyways, I'm thinking of going to Latin America for a vacation before the year's end. My preference was Sao Paulo and/or Rio, but after reading this board and hearing about Argentina from a few other people, BA has come in the running. From what I gather, the city has become a giant brothel now in advent of the economic crisis and it would be absolutely criminal for one to miss out on this opportunity at these prices. Furthermore, they seem to have really good deals on flights to BA out of JFK.

I know more about Brazil than Argentina. Brazil’s economy seems a bit more stable, but I have heard too many horror stories about crime in that country -- then again, these have been buttressed by the plentiful stories about sex.

I guess I’m asking you guys to make a case for BA. I’ve heard it’s like Paris, Milan and Madrid. Quite frankly, I’m not a huge fan of any of those cities, but I would hope that BA has a special appeal to make it better and more worth while than those three cities I mentioned above.

Also, I have a few questions about Argentina in general. Is Argentina really as snobby as they say? Some black friends of mine went and hated it they thought the people there were racist.
