Zing[/QUOTE]If the price is in fact 31 pesos for 20 X 50 mg of Sandoz, then that certainly is the cheapest price I've seen recently. The latest best price I heard was about 102 – 105 pesos for 50 X 50mg.

I bought 100 50 mg pills for 200 P. Tax included.

Went to Suipacha / Corrientes corner pharmacy, I was there a few days before but it was so busy I couldn't bear the thought of asking for Sandoz in front of all those people. Anyway, I finally got the courage and asked a guy, he refered me to the really large woman in the white coat.

The biggest box they had was 50 x 50mg, she put it in the till and I mentioned the discount for cash and she said you get 40% off! It came to 110 pesos. I totally forgot that was the going rate for 50, I thought this is the rate for 100 pills! So I started haggling and said a friend of mine got 100 for that price! She said absolutely no way. It was funny at the end I realized my mistake and paid for it. (By the way except chicas I have not managed the get 1 peso off anything in Argentina by haggling - is it not a latin country!

I tried a couple of them already, it's the same as any other generic Viagra I got from DR and Thai. Although still I get bad heartburn and a lot of acid problem (I've tried all remedies / pills and nothing can quite cope - any of you guys managed to tackle this.

Anyway, this works out 4.4 pesos for each 100mg, not bad at all, I'm only wondering if I should get another 50, but I guess it could be all confiscated at London Heathrow if searched.

Have you tried prilosec. You need to take prilosec on more or less a daily basis if you want to prevent Viagra heartburn.

Taking Prilosec when you take the Viagra is not going to help much unless you already have prilosec in your system. It takes a few days to be fully effective

Prilosec is cheap in argentina and you don't need a prescription. In the United States it is over the counter.

In Argentina they probably don't have brand name Prilosec so you need to ask for the generic name which is omeprazole. Comes in 10mg, 20mg and 40 mg. They all cost the same so take the 20mg or 40mg once daily.

I noticed you mentioned "confiscated at the airport." I am bringing my own Cialis and Xanax into BA. Has anyone ever had a problem at the BA airport?

If you have a prescription you can bring in a few months supply. This applies to most countries.

On the other hand without a prescription I have never had a problem, coming or going.

This is not fool proof, just ask Rush Limbaugh.

I've never been stopped at airports anywhere so far, so I am just guessing about what happens.

Today I went to the farmacia at Corrientes and Suipacha and bought some of the generic viagra.

They didn't have the boxes of 50, but the guy at the counter said not to worry and he would give me the same price, and I ended up with 4 boxes of 10, and 10 boxes of 2. A fair pile of pills.

I ended up paying 125 pesos for it, which perhaps is a little over the going rate, but with currency depreciation starting to happen now, who knows.

A warning for those that are shy, at least in this farmacia, the process is to first go to the counter and get the pills, then you have to go to the caja to pay for them, then your purchases are handed to someone else at another counter in a sealed bag, where that person examines each packet that you bought to make sure it matches the receipt.

At least a few people in the store did speak english (though I do speak spanish, they started to speak english to me when they initially saw me)

I have seen some reports that people have trouble finding this place, so here is a photo of the pharmacy, hopefully that will help.

They asked me for a prescription to get sildenafil there.

No problems at Corrientes & Suipacha. $114 pesos for 50/50 sandoz.
