New Port

Well, I have bought a drink or two in New Port a few years back, and don't recall any one drink over $4 at that time. 60 pesos certainly sounds like a rip off unless you're buying Johny Walker Blue or something. So they've either joined the rip off club, or the chicas are trying to pull one on you.

Ok, so I went to Newports on Monday night and met Exon there. After he met his chica and left I started to do a more intensive search in the bar for my wants. I talked to two ladies. One was formerly from X's, Veronica. I met her last year. She was sporting a long hair wig this year. She actually has short dark brown hair. She was only a probably last year because she was wanting too much then at 200P in X's. Some things do not change! Now she wants 300P /100US. No matter how much I talked she was not budging from the 300P. So I gave her my cell number to call if a change of mind came up. The situation was the same with a blonde from Brazil. She was stuck at 300P and would not budge. Again gave the cell #.

Now just so that you know the bar was packed with ladies. The good looks range was IMO all over the board. There were only three to four ladies that I would be interested in. There were other good looking ones too just not my type. But the thing was that many ladies and not many guys looking did not equal savings in negotiations. At least that night they all were stuck at 300P /100US.

I played to card of "you are asking too much and I will try elsewhere". But I left it open for them to call me for the next day or? We will see if that works!

As allways in this or other things that you want to buy, to gain the upper hand you need to be able to walk away if the negotiation is not in your favor. So we will see. I have done this before and it has worked.

Does anyone else see the 300P /100US non-negotiating situation happening?

Well, they're sticking to a hard price, and I'm sure "punishing" those who don't comply. It's certainly stupid, as anyone with half a brain will just move on. I think giving them your cell number won't hurt. They may feel that contacting you outside New Port isn't violating their [I]union[/I] rules.

Dropped into NewPort the other night (Thursday night / Friday morning) at about 1am. It was an appalling night outside - the smog was at its worst that night.

Good number of chicas there, some very tidy indeed. Of course, I was attracted to the shortish blonde with enormous boobs poking out of her tiny singlet top (anyone know the name of this woman. She would be about 35yo I guess) Okay, maybe my approach was bad, but I asked about prices pretty early in the piece. She quoted me 600Pesos for an hour. Is that a new world record?

Walked in that place jst to see whats going on. Im not a take out guy never did, never will. Just curious about that place. I have spent time reading the threads on the different clubs, and still thought I would pose the very subjective question.

I have been frequenting New port as the drinks are fairly reasonably priced and there is no real bar fine or girl priced drinks and average talent.

I know this is a mix of pros and amatuers. Plus you can go there at 12 rather then the usual 3-5am busy hours. But still it seems to be same old now.

Anyway is there other bars in the recoleta Palermo area that have the same benefits as New Port?

I tried Crocodrilo 2 weeks back after a long bar night, arrived at 5am with another amigo. It was busy but hit and miss on the talent. Finally by 7am we struck a deal with 2 for package deal of 400pesos, then they insisted their 3rd friend come as well for total of 500p. Was all good except we had to flip to see who had to deal with the 3rd wheel which wasnt attractive at all. Luckily I won the toss.

I like a little known, never talked about place called "CHECKERS PUB" if your truly looking for real value in Recoleta. Its located on Guido about a block & a half down the street and around the cornner from Madaho's. Just half a block across the street from Roxana's apartment.

"Checkers pub" is a "Cheap Guys", "Bottom Feeders Paradise". I'm shocked, totally shocked that it doesn't get more press.

It boast's, truly, some of the uglyest working women in all of Argentina. Their so ugly, nothing under 40 years old mind you, that I consider them "Mercy Fucks".

I really like the place and go their all the time for a night cap on my way home. Since I'm a steady customer of Roxana's, home is half a block away.
