I plan to look at some apartments in B.A. while i am there.Possible plan to split the rent on one with some regular visitors.Research done on the internet shows some really nice apartments for around $1,000 US,split 3 or 4 ways that wouln't be too bad.Anybody interested e-mail me at ezed@mindspring.com.

FATBASTARD,
I wish you luck in finding a place, and also to getting a group together (makes for an excellent orgy potential), however if your luck does not hold out, then can I recommend the following sites. I was passed the details below by a fellow WSG-er (who wants to remain unknown....) from when he visted BA a couple of weeks ago. He managed to get excellent accommodation for US$25 por noches.... And this for one of those Apart-plaze type studios (ensuit bathroom, kitchen facility, security at the front door.....). He was very happy with it, and was told that as long as he paid his rental, the place was his to do with as he pleased.... guests, parties etc. I'm going down these same line in December.
All the best, Regards, Havanaman

Havanaman,
I believe pesos as the site is in native tounge.
try www.masajes.com.ar/sensuales/index.html
Not sure what the base prices quoted include, we need a few brave soldiers to check this out.

In case anyone wants to save some research time, try this link.
www.girls59.com.ar/escorts.htm
This is one page with 55 links to escorts. I know the reviews on privates are bad, but there are surely a few gems to be found.
There are more than 55 links on the net for BA, but this is many of them in one page.

ibiza007,
Thanks for the reply, and the sites! Yes I agree, the price is probably in Pesos ($). I'm still in the investigation phase, but I think I will give some of these sites chicas a try (...not sure about Andres, but I'm goning to go for breeze!!) and report back. However, we shall have to wait until December for me, perhaps someone else going sooner can comment....

Hi Together,
I was the from 25th sept. in Ba - it was my first time there. I have to say that I have studied in Madrid and that my spanish is fluent.
My freind and I stayed at DesignSuites - as we arrived we have had a reservation for the "Junior Suite" for 65USD plus tax. But these rooms are really small and we decided to upgrade to the MAster Suite for 100USD - very nice to stay.
I prepared all the trip with infos out of this forum and others as well - but I have to say that I was extremely dissapointed. In the streets, in the restaurants and the ships are usually only older people and the younger ones are compared to other south amercan destinations quite normal looking. We visited all clubs like shampoo, playwomen or black for 3 times - there are only 3-4 good looking women there and 2 of them were Brazilians. In the daytime we tried to call the girls of the websites like Platynum etc - 2 out of 10 are acceptable. The rest was fake or 10 years older. We always sended them away with a taxi tip. All in all the best place was the Pacha Disco were we have been in the VIP area and that was more or less OK. But I was really really dissapointed. So we booked a flight to Sao Paulo and Rio were I found the expexted hardware I'm looking for. I'm really picky guys and I'm not interested in having a night or even 2 hours with a average girl. Money isn't the problem and I have the impression that right now the scene there is bleeding out in case of their depression.
I booked upfront the journey my new year trip to BA and Punta del Este but I will cancel this for sure for a Brazil trip - the hardware there is really better and in another quantity than in BA.
If you're interested in more details please post.
Good night

This post is appreciated. I speak Spanish, so I'm more inclined to go to Argentina rather than Brazil /Rio. In general the chicas in Rio are hot and attractive but found the "danger" level a bit high in Rio on my last visit five years ago more than I wanted to handle. Argentina seems to be going down the same path, safety wise.
The BA photos of the Saint were a bit disappointing in some ways, just a level above the usual 7's in San Jose, CR and there seems to be a concern recently that the BA internet girls are falsely advertised.
I was in BA about ten years ago but not for the hobby and really enjoyed the city and inhabitants. I want to return to BA for hobby purposes. Quality rather than cut rate prices is paramount.
I know that all this is subjective but can someone reply to this post with a counter argument based on experience?
Is the poster correct. Are there 10's (Penelop Cruz is a 10 in my book) in BA or just whorey looking hookers with fake boobs and five kids to support. I go for semi-pros with GFE, with looks and a degree of personal charm and culture.
-
Can you tell us more about Pacha Disco?
Thanks.

Bond, James Bond: I love BA. Yes, it is changing. No, not all changes are for the better.
But BA is still basically the same charming city you visited 10 years ago. Only now everything costs less. Much less.
Is it more dangerous? Slightly. There has been an undeniable increase in petty theft. Certainly You should exercize a bit more caution when venturing out at night. But let's place the crime rate in perspective.
What fool in his right mind would walk around on the downtown streets of San Francisco, Detroit, Miami or any other large U.S. city alone and drunk? No, a cautious person would take a cab rather than strolling down a dimly lit street. The same is true in Buenos Aires.
In late August I walked up and down Junin street in Recoleta at 2 in the morning and felt perfectly safe....Junin is "restaurant row" in Recoleta and was jammed with people...Precautions: I wore a newly purchased Timex rather than my Tag. I left the bulk of my cash in the security box in my room. I placed some of my money in a money pouch and stuffed it down my pants.
I had a ball in the restaurants and clubs in and around the center of Recoleta. But When I got ready to return to Art Suites I hailed a radio cab, whereas formerly I would have walked the 5 or 6 blocks down a not-so-well traveled street to my hotel....
With these simple precautions I experienced no difficulty and never once felt endangered....
Chica quality. I prefer quality over quantity. I look for GFE's from non-hardened chicas. BA has never disappointed me. Never. Not in August 2001 on my first visit or in August 2002, my most recent visit.
I visited three or four clubs in August......
Affaire in Recoleta was chock full of inviting chicas, many as young as 19 and ranging to late 30s. I also visited Blandish, a new club. Here I met a chica in her younger 20s. Brunette. Friendly. Great conversationalist.
One night we ventured out to another barrio, Floresta. The clubs here were full of 8s and 9s....I spent time with an 8plus brunette, tall, slender, medical student who works at night to put herself through school....I found another brunette to my liking (do you detect my weakness for raven haired Latinas?) in Ness in the downtown areaon a Sunday evening, not the best of nights.....Again, she was incredibly sweet and eager to go the extra mile to please.
A caveat....I have a chica favorita in BA with whom I spend the majority of my time, but on the two nights I ventured out with a group of guys we had no problem finding chicas of quality. I never invite a chica home if I don't find her attractive. And I don't seal the deal in the club until I have spent enough time with her to get a feel for the kind of person she is....if she sends out vibes that she is not going to provide a GFE, I don't care how attractive she is....I'm not going with her. I have found that if you treat chicas with respect, take a personal interest in them, and don't bargain too much....it pays tremendous dividends.
This having been said, every ****** is different in terms of the way we interact with chicas and what we are looking for looks-wise....but for my money, I'm on a plane for BA every chance I get.....including later this month and again next month.....Hey, I already have a ticket in hand for February as well....and I may go one more time between my already scheduled trips in November and february.....
Jamesbond....the money may be of less importance to you, but I have used what I save in chica costs now that the peso has been devalued to purchase additional tickets to BA.....I can go 4 times now for what I would have spent in the predevaluation days for two trips.....
ps....not one of the chicas I was with was hardened or had fake boobs.....Since I am interested in getting to know a chica before I take her home I do not use internet services very often. March was the last time I had a net-girl visit me.....She was from Platynum. Her pix were of her and recent. The experience was excellent.....
-
James Bond--
Lemme try to shed some light on your concern about the chicas in BA.
There is a vast pool of talent to choose from. The majority of the girls in the clubs (when you get right down to it) are 5-7s and basically look like the whorish girls you fear exist down there. (If we are to be perfectly honest)
But if you are patient and bounce about to 2 or 3 clubs on a given evening (my favorite club was Playwoman) you will have no problem finding a chica whose face rivals Penelope Cruz (who in my book is actually sort of average--a 7.5--a tad mousy!)
In a club like Blacks, there are about 30 girls working. Most of these gals are 6s-7s. But when I was last there (in March of 2002) I always saw a few that had absoultely stunning looking faces that rivaled Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz etc.....(Although, sometmes, the really beautiful faced girls in Blacks didn't have perfect bodies, small tities, flat ass/ fat ass).
I personally experienced several girls in Argentina that would rate as American Stripper/Porn Star quality girls. (Huge tits, tiny waists, heartshaped asses, sexy faces).
These "super chicas" (as my Argentino friend calls them) are the reason to go the clubs. Some nights she'll be there. Other nights she won't....You will have to ferret out a that special girl--what a tough decision! (What do you do when you are in a club--and you are forced to chose between a beautiful faced chica with no tits and a little pot belly--or an sex goddess with 36DD tits, a perfect ass--BUT, an average face??? WHAT WILL YOU DO? Will you go home solo and jack off? Or will you drop $150 pesos to find out if the average faced sex goddess knows how to deep throat?
So to answer your question--you are not going to find a smorgasbord of perfect tens whoring themselves in BA bars. That's not a realistic ideal in which to purchase your plane ticket and you will be disappointed when you arrive.
Remember--a perfect 10 anywhere in the world can command a lifestyle for herself that doesn't involve whoring with strangers (She can be the private ***** for a wealthy guy instead).
But as far as I am concerned, BA was the best experience I ever had. There is huge quantity. And there is also quality
You just need to search and you are virtually assured of finding and having a chica better looking than your Penelope Cruz standard...I would say your chances of finding this girl (for 200 pesos mind you) is around 90%.
Now go and report back!
-
EZY and LA Larry,
Nice posts form both of you. There are times when you go to the clubs, and you think the quality is going downhill fast. yet there are other times that it will amaze you.
Thanks again,
Moondog
-
Jamesbond69,
Everything is relative in life. I also don't think Penelope Cruz is a 10. Personally, I saw many girls hotter than her but that was in my opinion. That's why these message boards will only do so much good. If you want to find out for sure you have to get your behind down there and find out for yourself.
One man's heaven is another man's hell. I'm sure that not everyone will like Buenos Aires. Out of 30 some guys that emailed me that have been down since May.... only one found his experience bad or lackluster.
I do think the talent has deteriorated there. Due to the economy. That's why guys that think all of us Americans going down there "are going to ruin the scene" just plain don't know what they are talking about. Unless there is more "money" for the working girls.....they will go to other cities where the economy is better. As far as I'm concerned..the more Americans that go down right now the better.
Buenos Aires isn't a city like Rio where there are tons of daytime action. Even though I find BA to be heaven, some of you need to come to reality. No city in the world is a city full of "10's" waiting to spread their legs for a few pesos. If you're looking for 10's Jamesbond69... there are plenty here in the USA in the escort scene. Just expect to pay upwards of $300 or $400 per HOUR.
No matter what you read on these boards. Go into your vacation with a reasonable expectation. Don't expect to walk into all the clubs finding "9's and 10's" that will sleep with you for pocket change. It just ain't happening.....JHMO.
Good luck all.
-
ezy,
could you please post some detail on the places in floresta barrio, like names/streets/costs/times? thx!
octatron,
i was at pacha in nov-01. it's your typical non-hobby night spot. a large disco, filled with dinner tables from about 10p-midnight, and then the tables are removed by 1a and it's an open disco. vip area behind ropes in a balcony, otherwise it's one large rectangular room (vs. a multi-room type environment like rivera este, which i like more).
i didn't recognize any girls there looking for money to go home. i did hit on several, and was rejected vs. being asked for money (like at say shampoo in sep-02). i didn't think the quality of girls was that high for my lofty expectations, but it very well might have been an off night, as my local friends did say pacha is among the hottest spots happening now.
-
Leo,
Sorry, I don't recall the street addresses or names of the places we visited in Floresta.....We went with a taxi driver/boliche guide named CarlosDalbosco...phone in BA: 4652-5758 or cell 15-4470-3963. He charged $USD5 per hour for one guy, slightly more for the three of us (I think it was USD 1-2per hour more each).....He took us to places that were well off the usual gringo chica club path....Very friendly and knowledgeable.
-
Leo:
If you see my postings of July 2002 (about pages 24-27 of this thread), you will read about some of my experiences in Flores (I think that ezy went to Flores, since Floresta used to lack bars and saunas).
Most of them are around Rivadavia Av. and San Pedrito Av.:
- ARTIGAS/TOP SECRET: Artigas St and Juan B Justo Av. (At Artigas, 30 yards from the corner).
- Corner of Artigas St and Juan B Justo Av: A bar similar to those of Suipacha St
- SCORPIONS: Juan B Justo Av and 2-3 blocks south of Nazca Av. (neon lights, can't miss it). It was closed on July.
- MARAHA: Juan B Justo Av and 2 blocks south of Artigas St (similar neon lights as Scorpions). Also closed in July.
- LA FUENTE (La Fuente St. and Rivadavia Av.) Blue neon lights. Used to be one of my favorites.
- ENVIDIA (Rivadavia Av. and the 1st parallel street to Nazca Av.): Probably the place that ezy went.
- DOLYS/LA NUIT Directorio Av. and San Pedrito Av. See my previous experience
- LIZA: Directorio Av. and San Pedrito Av, in the opposite walkway of La Nuit.
- MONACO: Juan Bautista Alberdi Av. and San Pedrito Av. Huge neon lights.
Some remarks:
1) Most of these places are hit or miss. Yo may find high quality one day and poor quality the next.
2) The only English you will hear there comes from the jukebox. These places cater for locals, so speaking Spanish is somewhat necessary.
3) 3 years ago, I could avoid being robbed myself and my car when cruising for SW in the parallel streets of Rivadavia Av. (I was really lucky) Be careful.
4) Renting a cab as ezy did is a very smart choice. However, you may take a "remise" (livery) or a taxi and they shouldn't charge more than $10 for a trip from Downtown to Flores.
5) These places are prone to offer quick services (30 min - 1 hour)rather than toda la noche sessions.
By the way, if you dare to hit the off-the-beaten-track, you may want to go to:
- YAMILA (Av Pavon 1800 or 2000, Avellaneda). The neighborhood is made of low-middle class people, so it may be a little scary and not always safe, but I heard that Yamila was reopening on September. It used to host 30-50 girls from Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Dominican Rep and others (Bolivia). It used to be really cheap: Only $10 for 30 minutes with a stunner!
Hope this helps,
Andres
-
andreseg is the man. He knows BA...and he is right on several counts...
1)It was Flores no Floresta.
2)Most of the girls specialized in 30 minute sessions in a crib next to the club.
3)English is not spoken for the most part, although the med student I took to the crib next door spoke excellent English. But this is an area that caters to locals, not gringos....
4) Carlos owns a remis, not a taxi. His $5USdollars per hour service includes driving you to various locations, going in with you and drinking cokes while you down Cuba libres or cervezas, waiting while you go off to a cubicle to bang your favorita of the moment, and driving you home....Much more than a taxi ride...
I can't comment on the hit or miss nature of the clubs other than to say how amazed I was to find the best looking girls I saw on my trip (with the exception of my favorita,of course)...in a barrio far from the boliches that cater to gringos and gringo-dollars....
Some of the girls we saw were 9s...with a lot of 8s.....mostly younger than their Recoleta/downtown counterparts and much less "experienced" looking...
-
Boys--
In this vein, I would only bring to everyone's attention once again the nearby city of La Plata.
Jackson went on an excursion partially based on my tout. If you read his report, he seems to conclude that it is worth further investigation. (He did find a place and scored a decent girl).
I can assure you that when I was in La Plata, I was extremely pleased by the club that I visited.
Tried to dig up the name from my contact down there and he reiterated "Estrellas" which Jackson couldn't find (it probably closed, many places have in the meltdown).
Anyway-my point is--many of you all are heading down there in November and December...
If you have a free day/evening, I strongly suggest hiring a limo to drive you (45 minutes) to La Plata. (no more than $20 US Dollars).
Get a hotel in the center of the city and then snoop around. Grease some palms. Unearth the chica bars.
Your diligence will be rewarded 10 fold.
Why?
La Plata is a University city and is chocked full of 18-21 year old hotties. A small percentage suplement their incomes by working a few nights a week in the clubs.
These girls are legitimate students and very different than the girls of BA and Mar Del Plata.
If you have time check out La Plata.

Will be in BA the second week of November....will anybody be there that might want to go to some Recoleta clubs one night? I plan on checking out some of the Clarin classified ads that advertise "Colegiales" or "Universitaria" or "Lolita" as I speak very good Spanish and communicating on the phone or in person isn't a problem for me. Also plan on checking out Playwoman, Ness, Sadoma, Blacks, Solid Gold, etc, etc. This will be my fourth time in BA and I can't wait, I'm foaming at the mouth. Anybody want to get together? DownBA

Bandy, I'm not booked yet but I'm actually thinking of staying at Etoille. Would you mind if I asked the deal you worked out there? I'm about to book somewhere and there are lots of choices but Adriana, webmistress at www.platynum.com just recommended Etoille to me, says it's very chica friendly, etc. And, yes, I'm going to be in the 9th through the 14th so we can definetely hang a bit. Another hotel I'm thinking of that's a great place, only in Palermo, but only a 5 minute cab ride to Recoleta, is called Torre Cristoforo Colon and I've stayed there, very nice place and at the moment they seem to be practically giving rooms away. Adriana seems to think this hotel is very chica friendly too. DownBA

DownBA and bandy
Iam going to be at the Etoile from the 13-23 November. Iam planning to hit the clubs like Blacks (really near the Etoile), PlayWoman and Solid Gold.
Never been to BA myself but Iam a long time reader of this site. It seems that one of the great advantages with the Etoile is that it is very close to all the clubs (walking distance in fact) and very chica friendly.
I have some information on the rates at the Etoile for longer stay as they call it (think they mean 5 days or more) which I can send you guys.
Iam intrested in getting together during my stay.

---------------
I don't know exactly when I will be in BA, probably MDP and maybe La Plata (can't wait!) but it will probably be sometime before the end of the year.
Expect a full detailed report, as payback for all the great info I've received from this board.
I will stay for two weeks to a month at the Etoile, as all reports on this board indicate it is chica friendly and very well located. Seems the best bet, despite lumpy beds, tacky wallpaper, and no in-room internet access, a bummer, since the internet is a bit of an addiction and also pays the rent.
What rates (in cash dollars) have been quoted for Etoile:
one day daily rate?
more than five days?
One month?
-
BA-Robert, would you please post your email address and I'll email you as I'd like it if you shared your info on rates at the Etoille for 5 days or more since I'm going to be staying for exactly 5 nights. I'm leaving the day after you get there but I'd be happy to show you around if you like the night you get in. DownBA

I will be in Diplomatic Suite @194 peso +tax. Rates for Executive suite is 175 p +tax. The discount is substantial as compared to their regular rates. May be it is due to the length of the stay, which for me will be over a week. There is no extra charge for paying by the credit card, which is one of my primary requirements. I gather from the board discussions that some other area hotels are charging 14% extra for this option. One of the posters here eluded that Etoile provided free round trip transportation from the airport. I was not offered that. It costs 45 peso each way. They will send a private car. This will be my first time in BA. However, I have some experience with other parts of the world. Pura vida,
bandy
-
The information I got from the Etoile is:
Standard rooms (with double bed or twin bed) room size 26 m^2.
Executive rooms (size 42m^2)
Diplomatic rooms (size 64m^2)
All rooms include jacuzzi, minibar, cable, balcony, individual heating, air con, internet outlets (altough some posts see below claim it doesn't work), international direct dialling etc...
All rooms also includes American Buffet Breakfast, access to spa and parking.
The room rates I got for a longer stay is;
Standard room 145 peso + 21 percent tax
Executive room 170 peso + tax
Diplomatic room 194 peso + tax
This seems to be about the same as "bandy" reported below. However Iam not sure about the term "longer stay". I asked if this meant 5 days or 5 days+weekend and got a very cryptic answer. However I got these prices, but then Iam staying longer than a whole week.
I suggest anyone who is interested to email their information desk (reservas@etoile.com.ar).
They also have a website as many already know (www.etoile.com.ar). One can make reservations online on this website. However, one has to give them a creditcard no. and since their reservation form isn't a internet secure one, I suggest that you call them on the phone (54 11 4805 2626 from abroad). Calling Argentina seem to be increadible cheap so dont worry about the costs of a phone call, better to be secure.
Information I got on shorter stay or rack rates as they call them are:
198+tax, 225+tax, 250+tax for standard, executive and diplomatic rooms respectively. I got these rates a couple a weeks ago but should be pretty much the same now.
-
Thank you Bandy and BA-Robert, I think I'm sold and if they'll offer me the same deal for a 5 night stay I think I'll be seeing you guys at the Etoille. I've usually stayed in either Palermo or Belgrano which are great places to experience too but I think I want to be in the heart of the action this time.
Just one thing guys, do these rates include the priviledge of having a chica stay overnight without extra charge?
See you guys there. DownBA

Dear WSG ers,
I'm really burning with envy for those who get to go to BA so frequently. But also appreciate the regular and detailed posts.
I am a software (internet sites) consultant myself and want to go to BA on vacation and hobby. Work wise i never get a chance to move out of east coast. I wonder what takes everybody else to BA ? especially those who fly there every month?
I am desperately looking for an excuse to make a business trip out of it (will have to show some revenue from there).
Best of luck to those going there shortly.

I'd guess that a lot of the people who frequently hit BA these days are in the travel industry (i.e. airlines). The economy is so dead, and with the collapse of the peso, the Argentines sure aren't buying much beyond the essentials from overseas.
The one place their economy still sputters along is in the area of agriculture--export of wheat, leather, soy products. They SHOULD be exporting tons of the above plus wine, because their prices are so cheap. However, their brilliant government, desperate for cash, actually taxes EXPORTS!. Talk about keeping the economy down!
Until the dot.bomb implosion a couple of years ago, the Internet and e-commerce were hot topics down here. Startup Internet companies like Patogon.com really made it seem as though there would be a brilliant future in technology in Argentina, and an excuse for you to come and play, err...work. It's pretty dead now.
I'm in Bs As from this coming Thursday 'til the following Wednesday, if anyone wants to meet up with a middle-aged, horny guy who speaks Spanish with an Argentine accent.

I dont think bringing a guest will cost anything. All room rates are for one or two persons according to their website. Wheter you have a standard, executive or diplomatic room it shouldn't be a problem. Never stayed their myself but all posts on this site claim that it is no problem.
Maybe bandy could sheed some light on this. I dont know if it depends on what kind of room you got.

Everyone should probably keep all the "hotel" posts to the hotel section. That's what it's there for. If you'll go back you'll see I posted extensively on Etoile. Etoile has a strict guest policy. They are VERY chica friendly but they do NOT allow more than one chica up at a time. So if you're thinking about 3 somes than you better scratch Etoile off your list.
The night staff could sometimes be bribed to look the other way but sometimes no. Plus, they asked that you had the chicas out by early morning. Also, I'd highly recommend my travel agent. Her rates for the Diplomatic Suite at Etoile is less than booking direct with them. (mayra@argentinago.com). Or just go to her website and you can see the rates to all the hotels she contracts with. Royal 21 & Oldguy,
NO. The vast majority of the guys going down are NOT in the travel industry. Only one dude I know is in the industry. The rest of us are just normal guys that love everything about the city including the girls. If you want to go down...just make it happen. Anything in life is possible if you want it bad enough. Life is good.

Saint, Thanks for your advice. I went on Myra's site and booked the Suite Diplomático for $187 pesos per night plus the 21% tax. Sounds like a great price for a great, chica friendly place to park while I take care of some business and pleasure. By the way, it's good to see you're posting again, I was beginning to think you were seriously ill or something, not having seen a single post for days after your record-setting run of consecutive-day posting. Even though I've been to BA several times I still read all your advice (and all the other great posters, Ezy, La Larry, Moondog, UWPhoto and all the other BA mavens, THANKS TO YOU ALL) and will try to apply as much of it as possible during my next visit early November. Unfortunately I'll only have 5 nights to have fun though I ought to be able to pack an awesome time into 5 nights! Will try to return your efforts with some good, detailed posting from the internet cafes while down there.
By the way, to all of you guys going down soon or who are there now, don't think beef is the only great food in BA: their chicken is among the best in the world too, try a common dish found all over La Capital Federal called "Pollo al Verdeo", it's a chicken in a creamy, herbal sauce to die for. Also, try the pastas, they're the best pastas outside of Italy, maybe even better, but then, who can think about food with a city full of the sexiest women available on the planet for outrageously low rates due to the current currency exchange. thanks oldguy and saint,
seems like going there on a vacation would suit me better than thinking of a work reason.
From the posts here i assume most to be americans or of latin american origin, is all discussion about clubs and women relevant to an asians also ?
I am from india (north) and follow sikh religion. But unfortunately get counted as a muslim from middle east because i wear a turban (head gear) too. I have been all over europe and japan before sep 11 but the dull economy did not allow me to take a vacation till date.
What is the general outlook of argentinians towards non-us tourists ? I was told by couple of friends that south america does not get whole lot of asian tourists. So they would have no way of distinguishing a sikh from a muslim. And that in late 2001, they were very hostile to muslims.
I could not find any news article to that effect on the internet (in english) but will appreciate advise from the regulars.
I think i have a spirit of adventurer inside me and find satisfaction in totaly new places and tastes. BA holds the promise of that excitement. I do not know the language, have no idea about food , customs and culture. Exploring all that on my own and trying to score with some nice chicas will be what i'm looking for.
But i definately do not want everything to get screwed because of what i look like.

Royal21:
Argentinians are accustomed to Panamerican and European tourists. If you appear with a head gear in Buenos Aires you will draw significant attention everywhere.
I recommend you that you leave the head gear at home. Girls in clubs will be wary about going out with you. Unfortunately, people there think that most Asians are not very hygienic, so you may need to break that prejudice if you wear that (girls will go out with you anyway but probably will not provide a GFE if you wear that).
To give you an idea of how much Argentinians know about he Muslim world, they call the former president Menem as "Turkish", while his family came from Yabrud, Syria. Every Muslim here is a "Turkish", regardless of Sunnit, Shiit or any other branch, because most Argentine Muslim immigration came from Turkey.
If you go without head gear and are somewhat sophisticated (like many Indian classmates I met), you won'tdraw too much attention and girls will like to meet you.
Hope this helps,
Andres
