I just got back from a trip to Argentina and Brazil, four days each. First time in Ba, forth time in Sao Paulo. I went with two other friends. I will not compare the two places for they both have positives and negatives. I got a good airfair from the internet specials Varig offers. It was $890 with a stopover. I stayed in the Recoleta area which in my mind, for a newbie, was great. You can walk to many of the places you needed to go. Bad thing, most of the clubs in Recoleta are the high end clubs.

The prices at these clubs are high. It seems they adjust to the American prices even though you get a great exchange rate. At the time I was there it was 291 to the dollar. At most clubs in this area, entrance was ar$30 ($10.00) The girls drink which was also there bar fine was ar$60 or $20.00. Most girls asked for ar$300 per hour.

We arrived late due to missing our connecting flight in Sao Paulo. We called Anna to let her know we would be late. More on her section. After 8 hour in Sp, finally we our on our way.
