If you are new to Bs As and have a couple of nights, I'd suggest warming up at Newport. No cover, lots of chicas (ranging from 4s-8.5s) and the drink prices aren't too bad. The rate last time I was there was AR$300 for 2+ hours. It's 2 blocks away (on the other side of the cemetery) on Junin right near the intersection with Vincente Lopez.

Madahos is worth the visit to see the sights but I have not been impressed with performance.

I actually stopped by Madahos yesterday. My first time. The place was packed with guys and girls I'd say almost a 1:1 ratio. Saw a couple good lookin chicas and I talked to one that I liked. She wanted 200 for a BJ! Told her no way and talked to another chica but she spoke absolutely no english whatsoever. From my understanding she wanted 300 for something but I think it mightve been for only half an hour. Couldn't really tell.

Ended up leaving and goin to New Port but didnt see anything I liked there.

The main difference that I find in Madahos (compared to year ago) is that the girls are much friendlier - no more pressure to buy them a drink quickly. One of them commented that they were told to be friendlier to the customers. Some good consequences of bad economy!

Before I went to Madahos this weekend, I checked almost all information in this board, I belived that I had a good preparation to get a Chica with a good price.

I found a blond who attract me, had a brif talk and then start negociate the price, at the beginning she told me she will charge 600Peso, after serveral rounds, 400Peso agreed by her, and I offered the drink to her. But something happened out of my expect, after the drink, she started negociate the price again, she said I must pay 500 peso to her otherwise she will not go out with me. Finally I paid 450Peso to her, and she gave me a good service in my apartment.

I don't feel very comfortable in this case, lt looks like a trap. But I don't konw is it possible to complain to management of Madahos.

If the Chica want to change the price after drink, any one can share some experience to solve this issue? Thx!

Madahos and Blacks are places to pay for atmosphere today--and there are still some hot girls who are good providers in these clubs. There still is a good probability for mongering purposes there is a high price and a significant risk of bad service and the hustle that goes with these clubs.

There are enough good solid recomendations here if you read and search: hot girls who are great providers at 200 to 300 pesos. These are known consistent.

Performers who are a pleasure to deal with any time. Hang out and do window shopping and maybe find someone special occassionally--take a phone number.

The pleasure per peso ratio now is not what is was in the past.

Anyways 50 pesos is not a big difference, you paid a good rate for being a gringo, I paid 500 to the 2 girls I took off these time, Ok, they were the hottest of all, but 400 is the minimum they charge. And those are the very average girls who don't make any services at day.

600 pesos at today's exchange rate of 3.85 is equivalent to 450 pesos at 2.85 a couple years ago. Which is what the chicas at Madahos were asking then. The improved exchange rate has pretty much cancelled inflation.

Considering you can probably negotiate 600 down to 500 ($130 US) in most cases, it's not bad.

400 is really pushing it, I'm not surprised she tried again to get more.

I was in BA about 3 weeks ago and just getting around to posting to my trip.

This is still my favorite spot in BA and I like it significantly more than the other big clubs. Tons of pretty girls and the best atmosphere. It always feels like you are walking into a normal bar and there is not a huge separation of girls and guys. If you can only go to one spot this is the one.

At Madahos you don't feel like you are there just to find a girl and go back to your hotel. It is very comfortable to have a drink or 5 and watch the show and then grab a girl. The shows are ok and the dancers put on a good show.

There are 2 things about Madahos that I can never get over. First, is when the announcer says "Momento de Show". I feel like changing my ringtone to this and every time I hear it I smile. Second, I can never get over that they play the same freaking sports bloopers videos from the 90s. They are so old that I can't believe they are on dvd and completely irrelevant as none of the clips are from the last 15 years. I laugh everytime I see them just because it kills me to think that management (who I love) made a decision that these will entertain our guests. Sorry to vent but if you've been here more than a couple times I have to believe you have thought the same thing.

The girls at Madahos have gotten a little more aggressive and I was definitely approached more this time than in the past. The economy and the swine flu scare definitely had impacted the amount of customers in the place. Almost all girls would leave for anything within reason and I had a great time each time.

Many pretty girls but if I have to complain I wish there were more new girls that cycled in the place. It is always nice to see some new talent and there really hasn't been that much in the last year. Still the highlight of every trip to BA for me is my time at this place.

Last night I took a late 20's spinner named Cecily out of Madaho. She was pushing the local transito rather than my hotel which to me was ok. When we arrived at the transito check in window, Cecily cut in front of me, greeted the woman behind the glass and passed to this woman what appeared to be a small black card - 3 inches x 3 inches. I thought it odd, but asked the woman for the $90 room, the least expensive. She told me they were sold out and the next price - $120 - was available. I paid and went up to the room.

When we were done and riding the elevator down to leave the transito, Cecily asked me for the tarjeta - the room card. I gave it to her, thinking nothing about it. She went to the window, slipped the tarjeta thru and the woman passed back the small black card which I then saw was actually an envelope with a couple of peso bills stuffed inside.

I was impressed with the simplicity of the con. Argentine ingenuity at its finest.

Yes, if you live in BA. You speak Spanish. You are a regular of Madhaos. The equation changes! You get great deals with chicas ex Madhaos. No doubts about that!!

However, in my opinion, the best value for your dollars in BA for a Newbie, non-Spanish speaking monger is in the BA privados in microcentro.

However, Madhaos must be experienced for the sake of experiencing it. And their is no doubt about the fact that their are some v good looking chicas available there. However, whether the experience would turn out to be good, it depends on many many factors!

Seems to me that what everyone is saying (indirectly at least) is that there are attractive chicas who provide good service for a good price (AR$300) for at least a couple of hours or more, but with the following conditions;

1 - Keep the third parties out of the negotiations between you and the chica. Price for bar fines and drinks add about 30%-50% or more to the cost of getting a chica when 3rd parties are involved.

2 - Getting he chica comfortable with you helps a lot. Speaking Spanish, staying in BA for a long time, staying in a nice place, looking like Tom Cruise (only taller) helps, etc.

3 - Negotiate, Negotiate, Negotiate. One is making a deal here after all, it is not a desert like in the States. If one girl does not work out try another. If she want a price for an hour of time offer her a price that includes more hours and thus more $$, you might get a better deal. Also preferable lead with the big head not the little head.

It sounds like for the Clubs the best thing to do is hunt for 2-5 top girls you drool over and try and see them outside of the clubs or get their contact info or give them your contact info. Make a deal for later at a better price / performance that you control. Remember that these clubs make their $$ on the girls getting the club as much of our $$ as possible, hence the general 1 hour time with a chica, it is a revolving door that the clubs want to turn very fast not slow.

As for the Privados, you have the same type of system but at a lower cost. They do seems to offer the best deals for P2P in BA, but I assume that one could get the Privado girls on their off time (assuming they have any) for a longer time at a better price.

I compare the whole thing to Las Vegas. The Luxor and Belagio are beautiful places, but do you really want to blow your whole wad of cash (excuse the term) in a few days or hunt around for a better deal. Yes the rush is bigger when you win $1000 in Vegas, but the crash is worse when you lose $1000 and have very little to show for it except the bills on leaving.

The chica also has to pay a monthly flat fee for advertising, bathroom soaps etc. The chicas at 343 Uruguay for example handle 4-5 clients a day, and mainly for media hora. If you bother to ask them, they all say they take home about 2500 pesos a month. For the record, times are tough and even though their website shows 20 odd chicas, 5 or so have left, including the Peruana, Jessie. (Family from Iquitos in North-eastern Peru) Since I am not a club man, my guess is the same deal would apply but that is just a guess.

I stopped in here last week (Thursday night) with a business associate who was visiting Buenos Aires for the first time. Entrance fee of $90 AR includes a drink as usual. Pretty crowded, and I expected the talent to be good as Thursday's generally bring out all the "stars" to clubs. I was, however, extremely disappointed in the talent. There were really only one or two girls in here who had the "complete package". My business associate pulled a girl who ironically my cousin banged out of Madahos almost 3 years ago. The price agreed upon was $150 USD plus the mandatory $150 AR exit drink. According to my business associate, the girl was a willing participant and stayed for about 3 hours.

This Madahos experience, and an experience at Black two days later, has led me to the conclusion that the high end hooker boliche scene in Buenos Aires has really gone to shit. There were honestly almost no girls in either Madahos or Black who were worth even close to the prices they were asking especially considering the performance they are likely to deliver. Maybe my standards have just risen to the level that I am hypercritical but I have no problem paying these prices for top shelf pussy but there just wasn't ANYTHING resembling top shelf pussy in either of these places.
