No problem. As I said elsewhere, I am a visitor here and also in BsAs, a place I have not visited for years and have never taken anyone back to the hotel. I did not read what was 'customary' until after the encounter. And since I gave her the equivalent in a tip I was not unfair IMO anyway. I reported the session as accurately as I could. Personally (I am not American) I am not of the view that paying grossly more than a fair amount helps anyone. It is demeaning IMO (In Japan, for instance, it is downright rude) Also, she lived quite near, and had finished work. I am generally quite sensitive to such things. I think I would have picked up if she felt I had treated her unfairly in any way. I respect those on here who think differently, you are entitled to you view. On the Brasil board, Exon would probably have been crucified for losing the woman's respect by paying more than a proper amount.;)

Like a good fisherman who plays his cards close to the vest, I am reluctant to tell you where the hot spots are or what lure is working the best.

I will share a little mongering trick I discoverd some time ago.

As I visit BsAs once per year, I have made an effort to accumulate in the off season, a number of little gift items at various dollar stores, garage sales, the trash, etc.

Items a chica would look at as a nice little thoughtful gift.

My MO is to always give my chicas a cheap guady watch, a tube of lipstick or a makeup compact.

Costs one zip and sets you aside as a thoughtful pleasent and memorable client.

I thrills me to see them light up when given something special.

This has worked so well for me that I am even now kicking myself for devulging such a simple but highly effective technique.

These girls love presents and usually love the blokes who give them.

I agree with Exxon. Be generous and you will indeed be rewarded.

Beezer[/QUOTE]One tip that has worked for me on my (infrequent) trips to Bs. As. is to stop at a kiosk on the way back to my hotel with my latest new friend and buy some biscuits, chocolates or a drink of her choice for her.

In my experience it is appreciated by the Chicas and results in good service.

It also makes sure that I have the correct (agreed) money and some bills for a tip if required.

Works well in other countries as well. Used it in Thailand many times with great success.

It's great to see a girls face light up with pleasure when you have just spent a $ or so on her, and it stops her raiding the (overpriced) mini bar in my room!

I was in Hook last night, quite early I guess (1 am?. Quality of chicas overall is quite low, but the third approach was by a lovely young girl from the north of the country named Marisa.

For the second week in a row Hook had a band last night. Rock n' roll covers. Pretty good too. They started a little after 12. Despite the band there wasn't much going on last night. Not a good sign when it's really slow on a Thursday night.

Marisa approached me very quickly, and as she was certainly the best looking there, I decided to take her back to my apartment.

I would agree with the previous poster's opinion, though I found her just a little too professional for my liking. Once the business was over, she left my apartment pretty sharply. Still, she's a good-looking, slim chica who speaks some English, and she knows her job.

Did a quick tour of the triangle late last night (Ness, Hook, Cattos) just to have a quick drink in each and scope out the offerings. Hook had the best selection and some good pole dancers. Cattos had fewer girls but a couple of winners, and a really fantastic singer. I stayed a little longer just to listen to her show. Ness had the fewest girls and lowest quality of all; years ago I used to see some real beauties there. In all three clubs the girls put on a full court press, begged for drinks, and didn't take a polite "not tonight" for an answer.
