I was last in Costa Rica summer of 1994. Availed myself of numerous young women 18 - 24. Most were 6-8's.

OK. You've been to CR and I' ve been to Cuba. Cuba is great - incredible women - but the prices are inflated - $75-100 althought the quality high, like I imagine BA - very smart twenty something amateurs going pro (GFE) because of the economic situation rather than seasonaly migrant hard cored pros from Colombia, DR, Brazil, Nicaragua, Panama - going to CR/San Jose to make fast money off the Gringo-s in the gulch to support their families back home ie SexMcDonalds/Disneyland commercial sex.

The problem with Cuba is the police/state/Castro. The hobby is illegal and there are no brothels, spas, MP, hooker night clubs (although Comodoro is the closest thing) etc.

Everything still exists in Cuba (if you read the posts on the Saudi Arabia forum pro sex exists everywhere on earth, thank God) but it's not a cake walk. You have to figure out how the system works - know a Cuba you can trust to find an illegal residence with a separate entrance, no ID check, etc. CAT AND MOUSE with the police all night long, with the girls truly terrified that they will end up in hooker jail. You want to hobby like that. I think not!

If you are going there solely for the hobby I would seriously consider BA, as it's seriously difficult in Cuba now with the police and such - Cuba got this sex reputation starting in 1993 when the Soviet Union pulled out and they had to use in part the women to bring in hard currency from tourrist to survive until they could join the global economy and not be just a welfare showcase for Russian but that situation no longer exists. The have an export economy for sugar and have build up a serious tourist infrastructue with European hotel chains such as Melia from Italy/Spain.


So why go through the hassle and mouse and cat game to find a place to go horizontal. In BA all you have to do is take them back to your hotel room, no problem.

When it comes down to it , the hobby is about finding a space to practice without your desires without having to pay for double occupancy to the man.

I should add if the hobby isn't he only reason to visit Cuba. GO by all means. the country and the people are fascinating.

Where else can you go on earth to a place where you can not find a Starbucks, McDonalds, etc. It's a most interesting place and the people are really smart and friendly.

But for the hobby BA seems to be the place right now. Inexpensive and high class providers.

I think you pretty much helped me decide where I'm going for December. BA it is.

However, I hope someday to visit Cuba. From Michigan I would fly to Toronto then direct to Cuba. Another hassle. But that little island fascinates me. Unique culture and all.

I have been checking out a side trip to Rio. www.optar.com has a ba-rio-ba hotel and airfare package, but I can't tell if the prices are in pesos or dollars. Translation site does not seem to work well on these pages.

I found a fare for the late November-early December time frame that worked out to about $209 us. My problem was that I couldn't tell if it included hotel or if it was available to persons not holding an Argentina passport.
