Well, is not free. You pay the local call.
When you connect with a "paid" ISP you only pay the 50% of the local call. These free ISP's belongs to Telefonica & Telecom, they want to increase the local calls. That's it.
There are free ISP's since 1999 in argentina but they increased since 2001.
The only bad news is that i've overheated my modem (2 years ago) by using an argentinean ISP (Ciudad, a paid ISP connection), sometimes, phone lines are overpowered, so this may cause troubles with modems, most people use UPS units to protect themselves.

MCSE, I am not either one of those people. I am just a person that loves the ladies as we all do, and have known the staff of www.platynum.com.ar and www.escorts-argentina.com personally for about 3 years now. 1.2) A current (yes, CURRENT) judge having been caught in a plot for murdering gay brothels managers (Dr. Oyarbide, Mr. Garbellano and the Espartacus boliche)

1.3) A famous group pf brothers managed Cassandra (a former brothel in Av Forest and Av de los Incas) and Dolly's (currently, La Nuit in Flores). In 1994, one of these brothers burned the house of a $300,000 debtor in Flores called Bagnato, killing the whole family but a young teenager.

My intention is not to scare you, just to inform you. I've been mongering since 1989 in Buenos Aires and I'm still alive and in one piece.


2) I don't believe that MCSE cannot leave Argentina. He only needs $400-500 to get away from there. Anyone can save that money by skipping 10 sessions with girls, so not a very big deal.

Foreigners should be aware that we Argentinians (or most of them, to be fair) are used to complain and whine, speaking out intentions that we really don't have. If you see the long lines of people in the Spanish and Italian consulates in Buenos Aires, you will perceive that the most difficult hurdle to leave the country is to get the Italian or Spanish passport. After that, most people can travel to Europe. I can't believe that an EU passport holder cannot gather $500 to buy a plane ticket to Rome or Madrid. If I were in his situation, I would sell my car or furniture if necessary.

3) There should be a pushy attitude from the police or the courts to competitors of Platynum, Gemidos and the like. Throughout the last 5 years, I noticed that few websites survived, and those who did didn't display significant advertsing, so most of the fees should come from girls to get their pics posted.

Since maintaining such sites isn't very expensive in Argentina, I believe that there is some mob-like attitude from the leaders to competitors.

4) I don't want to offend anybody, but people who work in this business managing service providers can barely have "good reputation" (I respect girls, no pimps). They may be friendly to foreigners, but not necessary fair players in their business.

Sadly, my remaining posts are being made from my home in the states, as I have just returned and I am exhausted. Again, thanks to all for the positive feedback, and I ended up having an extra day in heaven, but still missed meeting Moondog and Ezy. My loss. I wish I had time to read the forum and get the phone number, but as you read the reports that follow, you will understand that I just ran out of time.

Day Four (Being flexible)

I woke this morning at 10:00, after not nearly enough sleep (again). Like yesterday I ordered breakfast Americano from room service, and it arrived 15 minutes later, delivered by the lovely Soledad. I may be missing out on the restaurants in the area, but I like it because I don’t have to get up and be full functioning until after my morning coffee.

I called Venus at 11:30 as agreed to yesterday, and she sounded delighted that I had actually called, but disappointed when I explained that I didn’t want to go out for lunch. Yesterday, I had asked her to lunch, but today, I was just so tired, that I wouldn’t have felt comfortable going out in public. Still, she readily agreed to come to the hotel for a couple hours, at 1:30. After a long shower etc, I felt sufficiently revived, but still less than energetic. Ok, so much for plan B, the twins didn’t answer the phone, so I called Mailen and Gaby from Gemidos. I explained the hotel’s guest policy, and Mailen said it was no problem, and gave me the address to her apartment. Day Five (The most promising so far)

We decided to meet up later that night to hit a club in Belgrano (Estilo Nuevo Bolich). I headed back to my hotel for my novia, who showed up right on time. This is one time I’m not going to share details, but, let me say that this is as close as it gets to real love for me, understanding the limitations. I’m not naïve, so before you club me over the head for being stupid, understand my eyes are wide open. Four hours later, she didn’t want to leave, and I didn’t want her to go, but the hobby must come first. There were five of us together, so we took two taxis to Belgrano, and found the club without too much difficulty. The place was ok, but the talent level wasn’t to any of our tastes. I think this club has been mentioned in this forum before, and Leo can fill in the details, but we paid 15 pesos each for a ticket for the first drink, and proceeded inside after chatting up the girl at the door. Before I go any further, let me explain that after the time spent with my favorita, I was not going to get a girl, unless she was a solid 9. That said, the deal in the club is that you pick out the girl you want, then negotiate price, and you can either take her to your hotel, or they have rooms upstairs. The latter would be a good option if you wanted to have multiple sessions before heading home.

I think it is definitely a good idea to have some game with some of the regular girls. More about her will be posted later. So off we went to the highly over rated Black. This was the worst experience of my trip. We arrived at the club, and like all the others we had been to, asked if one of us could go in to see if there were any good ones inside without having to pay the entry fee. But, this was the only club that refused entry to all of us. The reason was apparent that there weren’t many girls there, and Blacks is more interested in the 20 peso entry fee, then the potential thousands the four of us might have spent if we had only been allowed to look. After we argued with the guy for a few minutes, I decided what the hell, for the good of the team, 20 was not too much to pay, so I could check it out, and like we suspected, there were only a handful of available girls, and no good ones. I was hot, because I felt like I had been cheated on purpose. We spend a lot of money here, and I believe we should be treated better than that. After that we gave up on the Recoleta clubs, and took a taxi to Buenos Aires News (a big dance club), to check out the amateur talent. I knew when we got there that I was going to strike out, but it was an incredible place that was absolutely jumping. It is a cavernous building, with several bars and levels, and absolutely packed with hot girls, from teens to a little older, but literally thousands of people. You really press a lot of flesh getting from one end to the other. I saw lots of girls I wanted, but sadly, I am too old, and not nearly attractive enough to do well in a place like this. Again, I’ll let him post the details if he wants to, not my place to do it, but he got a date with the girl the next night. We ended up heading back to our hotels sans chicas. I arrived last, as the sun was coming up strong, a little before 7 am.

Not counting striking out in all the clubs, it was by far my best day of the trip, with two extra long sessions with my two favorite girls. A total of five rounds in one day, with no viagra enhancement, with two absolutely beautiful girls, is a good day for any man. My favorita actually cried when we kissed goodbye, exchanging email addresses, and we promised to study each others languages every day, so that when I return in November, it will be easier to talk with each other. Believe me we had no trouble communicating, as my somewhat limited Spanish was much better than her English. It is an incredible ego boost to have a 21 year old, perfectly beautiful girl tell you how special you are to her, and how much she will miss you when you go. I have lost my heart to these girls and this city.

While I’m sitting here, I’m getting some serious eye contact from an older stunner with flaming red hair. I think she wants me to approach, but I’m going to hold out for Marcella.

That’s enough about day five, when I went to bed, I was feeling incredibly sad thinking it was my last night here. I will miss Argentina, the beautiful women, and especially my favorita.

I gotta tell you, the Old Guy is kinda winding down. After several great days in Santiago, followed by five days here, the three hours of sleep per night starts to catch up. However:

Got up this morning and immediately called Sandy. She's back from her short trip, so we scheduled a 1PM to 3 PM at my hotel. She's a sweet girl--works hard, doesn't rush, really nice body. After a nice session, I took her to lunch. She talked a lot about the trade, how great the money was when the peso was pegged to the dollar, and how it sucks now. On the one hand, she knows that lots of people are out of jobs now; on the other, she's not putting much away for any future. She's not an Argentine, so she shared some interesting perspectives on Argentina versus other latin countries.

Day Six (Melancholy)

Waking up after only 3 hours of sleep again, it hit me that my hours here were fast dwindling, and I had time to lay there and reflect on my successes and failures this trip. I definitely did a lot of the things I wanted to for our little hobby, with the exception of photos (that I am willing to share), but fell woefully short on my tourist activities (I will try to do better with the photos on my next trip, sorry). So, the plan I made for the day was to head to the Orleans Café, and then go to San Telmo for the bazaar and flea market, to buy gifts and assorted mementos for this trip. The wind was actually howling outside my suite, and it was steadily raining. By the way guys, pack an umbrella, it’s the little things that can make all the difference. I got up and around, then packed all my stuff, other than the things I would need that day. I headed out around 11 am, and met a lady in the lobby from Houston who basically had the same plan (excluding the chicas downtown), for the day. The difference between us is that she is in antiquities, and actually has some clue what she is looking for. I, on the other hand, was winging it. As I understand it, the flea market is only open on Sunday’s, but the galleries can be shopped on any day. I took a taxi to the café which is on the corner of San Martin and Ave Cordoba on the opposite corner from the Phoenix hotel, for around 5 pesos. Some of the taxi drivers don’t know the places we visit, so make it a habit to have the exact address of where you want to go written on a piece of paper, so even if you don’t speak Spanish, you can communicate exactly where you want to go. I actually drew little maps on the backs of the note paper from the hotel, to make it easier. Being mothers’ day, the action in the Café Orleans was very slow when I arrived, so I sat there inside, watching all the beautiful girls stroll by with their mothers, while drinking some good strong espresso, and avoiding making eye contact with the rather homely (by BA standards) girls. After a little while, I had a decent lunch, of a steak and cheese sandwich, and papas fritas. While there, I asked if I could take some pictures of the café, which they allowed me to do as long as no customers or girls were in the photos. Then, I took a flagged a taxi for San Telmo. At this point, I want to mention that where ever you go in this city, there are taxis available, and I never waited more than a minute before flagging down a Radio Taxi.

San Telmo: Do go to the market at least once when you come here, it is an interesting place with lots of antiques and great stuff for gifts in the indoor galleries. I spent a couple hours there, and caught a taxi back to my hotel to drop off my bags. With several hours left before my flight, I went back to the Orleans, and chose a very petite little brunette named Lilo, I negotiated her down to 80, from the 200 peso asking price, while explaining that (because she was not up to the standards I now have) I was only interested in por boca. She promised it would be primo, so off to my hotel we went for what I thought would be my last quickie session of the trip. Bless her little heart and
tongue, she did a great bbbj to which she swallowed the payoff.

Lilo: Claimed 21 years old, and looked thirty, petite, below average by BA standards, but great if you like the average Mexican pro.

After getting my last girl (so I thought) to leave, I finished packing, and double checked my flight info. Unbelievable, I got the departure time mixed up with my November trip, so I flew down to reception for a quick getaway.

Trip Extended,

Soy muy tonto, I got my fight times mixed up between this trip and the next, so I missed my flight. The guys at the front desk tried to help me out, and got me a driver who busted ass trying to get me to the airport on time, but to no avail. On leaving the Etoile, I tipped the guys at the desk handsomely, telling them to share with the rest of the ten people that work at reception. At the airport, I arrived only 45 minutes before the scheduled departure, so the flight was already closed. The ladies with United were very helpful and friendly, and changed my flight to the next night. They even called the hotel, and guess what, I got my same suite at the Etoile for my extended stay. I have to say, that there are worse things that could happen, than to get to spend another day in paradise. Since I was stranded at the airport without a driver, the ticket agent for United suggest a Manuel Tienda bus, with the agent promising me that the bus would take me to centro, where I would transfer to another van that would deliver me to the hotel. All this for the cost of 15 pesos, which is not bad in my opinion. This is a viable alternative to taxis, and privately arranged drivers. Also, these buses are used by the local flight crews, so it gave me a chance to chat up a stewardess who spoke flawless English, and loved it that I was not at all upset about staying another day.

I hope my boss is understanding when I call to explain my predicament. The additional cost for changing my flight is 150 US, because my ticket was non-refundable. After transferring to the van, and on the way to the hotel, the driver had to drop off two other people. One of which was a college age guy from Colorado. We struck up a conversation, and I learned that this was his first trip to BA, so I gave him the low down on the club scene for regulars, and the pros. He kept saying that he was going to be in trouble in this town. He was staying at a youth hostil, so I think he’ll probably have fun with the amateurs. Oh well, can’t wait to see what comes next. What an adventure this whole trip has been. The van delivered me to the door of the hotel as promised. The Etoile only charged me a half day rate, since I had already paid a half day for late check out. To their credit, all of the guys at the desk, seemed very sympathetic, when I arrived at the hotel. They dropped my bags back at the suite, and I called Leo and the boys to let them know I was still in town. Off I went to hit the clubs. Starting with Affaire, I saw one interesting possibility out of perhaps a dozen working, but decided to wait until I had been to a few more places. I went to Shampoo, and there was only one girl there, absolutely dead, and while chatting with my favorite waitress Ana Carina, I learned that Sunday nights are always bad, so it may be a good idea to have an appointment pre-arranged. I spent a good hour talking to Ana, because I was one of only three customers in the place. What a sweet girl. Understand, this girl speaks no English, and is not on the menu, but I loved listening to the way she speaks Spanish with the soft g sound (like in engine) in place of the yuh sound in words like yo, llamo, ayer. I believe this accent is unique to Argentina, but I couldn’t tell you why that is. Before I left, she asked for my room number at the Etoile, while making sure I didn’t write it down because it was not allowed by the management. This really surprised me, since the waitresses in the clubs while being friendly, are usually very hands off. She said she would talk to me later, and gave me a big hug, and kissed me on the cheek when we said ciao. I can’t wait to see her again on my next trip. It was about 1 am, and I was tired, the week was catching up with me. So instead of going anywhere else, I returned to Affaire. The girl I was interested in was with a local, but it didn’t look like he was buying, so I asked the waitress for a pen, to have Andrea call me later. The waitress looked at me like I was crazy, and went to get Rosario (the red head who collects the money at the door who speaks perfect English). Rosario explained to me that it is against the rules to give a girl your number, because then they might freelance. I told her that my intention was to have the waitress give her my number, so that when she was done with the local, she could come to my room. Rosario facilitated the transaction, charging me the 20 peso exit drink in advance, and said that Andrea would meet me in an hour. With an hour to kill, I stopped in at Newport, and spotted a pair of Brazilians that looked a lot better from a distance than they did up close, but I talked to them, and told them to call me in a couple hours, to go to a short stay hotel, while explaining that I already had a girl coming to my room. Enough! I went back to the Etoile to wait. Ten minutes later, there was a knock on my door. The guys at the desk, at this point, had stopped even calling to announce my guests.

Andrea, a 5’1” brunette with middle of the back length hair. Cute, and petite, but her face definitely looked better in the darkness of Affaire. The cool thing about Affaire, is that it is right around the corner from the Etoile. Newport is a block away, and I wish I could shop for beautiful girls this close to my house in the states. The session with Andrea was just so so, which is a shame, because she had one of the tightest little boxes, and gave a really decent cbj. The problem is, while she did give dfk, I’m almost positive she was counting the flowers on the ceiling while I finished. Then, she couldn’t leave fast enough. Overall very disappointing, while still being satisfied.

Not a horrible day considering I had two sessions, and got an extra day in heaven.

Wow. Great posts EZE_amante. I just got around to reading the board today. I have so much to do before I head back to Mexico City this weekend. Sounds like you've been bitten by the "BA bug" too. It's hard not to fall in love with that city.

Reading your posts it also shows that it's good to be flexible. Guys don't try to be too rigid with your plans. If something comes up or a girl you planned on seeing cancels or no shows... just move on to the next one on your list. Don't sit around and waste time. That's very nice that Mayri had good words to say about me. She has become a true friend over the past months. But rest assured, I do not refer her so much because she is my friend. I refer her because of the quality travel agent she is. She will literally go the extra mile for you and for many people that makes all the difference in the world. It's good that you're realistic about the girls. Yes, it's easy to fall for them but you gotta keep things in perspective with them. My last trip I had some dude email me angry because I was posting about some girl he was in love with from one of the clubs. He was all mushy about how heart broken he was reading my posts. Also, I've known cases where I've been in BA and another dude and he will have seen a girl in the club so he'll expect none of the rest of the group to see her. This to me is just idiotic. If I see a hot girl and I want to sleep with her and she is working in a boliche do not expect any of not not to hook up with her. In fact, if I were in your shoes I'd rather have her hooking up with a friend that I know is a good guy and will treat her right. NEVER forget what these girls do for a living..no matter how wonderful they are.

It sounds like the clubs still suck. That's a real shame to hear. I hope things pick up by the time I'm there in 4 weeks. If not, I'll be hitting the internet hard. I agree that you shouldn't go out in too big of a group. It's hard enough sometimes finding one girl yet alone 4 or 5 hotties in a club. I've received no less than 5 or 6 emails from dudes that will be in BA over Thanksgiving. I'm already meeting 3 amigos so it might make sense to break up the group. Towns like Mexico City, Cancun, etc. charge US type rates ($200 - $250 US per hour or short session). I've hobbied in Cancun and now Mexico City and these girls can BANK if they wanted to. I know some girls that went to Mexico City but they came back to Buenos Aires. Even though the economy sucks there..the quality of life there if you have money is good. The place is hard to beat.

just back from a long weekend...

i was never alone, traveling with a friend (partner in crime at our 2 bdrm apt suite), and meeting up with eze_a and b.player from here. yes, being in a group is always more fun (imo).

ok, here we go, but first for some perspective… i'm not that ugly of a 30-something in-shape-enough guy. and, i live in miami - thus, what others might find as a 7-8, i probably think is a 5-6. not trying to insult anyone, just tyring to give perspective to provide better data. regarding looks, i like my girls young and tight, small ass and flat stomachs even if it means sacrificing chest, and pretty faces.


DAY-1

for our first morning upon arrival, we have internet girls arrive at our two bedroom suite at artsuites. lizzy from platynum was everything her pictures present. she will try to sucker you for us$100 if she know's you're gringo. days later i find she'll start at ar$150 otherwise. emma from a second-tier site (rubio or gemidos or tus chicas maybe) has her face blocked out, and now i know why - cig stained teeth... ok body i guess.... she's also genoveva at another site. maia from area-vip has put on a ton of weight in the ass since her pix, does 1 hr for ar$100.

we met up with friends for lunch and followed with a night of hitting some spots. we even had carem (from gemidos? or paraiso? or other 2nd-tier) join us for fun (off the clock)... note, she has a belly, and a little acne, but her face is a pretty as the pix. we started at newport for drinks, and at midnight or so was offered ar$200 for all night by marcella. i should have taken it, but i wanted to hang with the guys. so i got her number for the next day, only to later find out it was a fake number (damn, i get enough of those from amateurs in u.s.!!!). then we went to playwoman by about 1a, where i was dissapointed with the quality, as were the rest of us. we shifted to non-pro action by going to pacha, in the costanero area. many young girls, and while some might find them hotties, i just didn't think they were so pretty. we ended the night at shampoo, which as almost dead (at 3a... i know, too late...). to end the night for us, we do a visual through newport on the way home. there is one girl that i liked enough (at this point in the night) - i had seen her dancing/sitting with a 50-something guy when we were there earlier, and she’s still there (or returned more likely, huh?). so i had given her many flirting eyes earlier, we naturally immediately started talking… don’t remember her name, but she’s brasilian looking but told me she’s from dominican republic. anyway, she’s hot enough even by my standards, and it’s way late, and i’m horny enough… there’s maybe 3 men left in the place, and she won’t budge off of ar$300. finally, in frustration (or anger more likely by this point) i look at her and tell her she’s crazy, the place is about to close, no one else is even interested, and i’m ready to hit it for ar$100 or ar$200 (i don’t remember). she says no, i walk away, and within 5-10 minutes I see her leave alone. I guess she didn’t want to work more that night? or i’m just not all that i guess ;-) we leave for the night about 5 minutes later.


DAY-2

we use the day to get some leather jackets. mayri sets us up at a leather warehouse store outside of the main part of town (ar$12 taxi). good deals i think, but maybe the best of florida or santa fe streets (certainly not all stores tho) are equal/better, so a friend thinks. anyway, the store owners recommend a good lunch spot, which indeed was excellent. and they pick up the tab for us!! amazing how nice people in ba are!

ok, on to the night. i try to get oscar to do remis for us so we may start at nuevo estilo biloche in belgrano, but oscar tells me he's booked (way to go oldguy!!). no problem, the place is 2 blks off of libertador, and belgrano is a wealthy, nice barrio. we take taxis (5 guys in 2 cars), and arrive by 9:15 (per previous posts info). this place is well lit, and everyone is very friendly - it's just a neighborhood bar (with bedrooms upstairs). ar$15 entry incl a nice large drink, and a free entry card for your next visit next week. girls have standard pricing, with a little room for discount. they don't try to nail gringos. ar$80 for 1/2 hr, don't remember 1hr fee. girls are very nice but only 5-7s. of course, you find a so pretty girl with bad body, or incredible hard body with bad face/teeth/etc. if only girls were like mr. potato toys ;-) we leave at midnight for recolleta, starting at playwoman. nothing of interest… we proceed to hit every spot on azcuenaga, not finding more than one possible hottie in any of them… that's solid gold (very nice door staff, let's us all in to look), the next one up (can’t remember the name… ditto on the staff), then molhos (would only let part the group in for free to look, making the others wait outside… cool enough), and sadome (don't remember more about it other than we bailed). so, it's back across the cemetery to affaire, where it's the same story... maybe one keeper and we bail… then shampoo, which is another disappointment... one guy takes one out, and 4 of us move on. well, now we're ready to try blacks, although 3 of us agree we'll find it too expensive and not worthy.

it was worse, I'LL NEVER WALK INTO BLACKS AGAIN. I MUST RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO NEVER GO TO BLACKS. the door staff were more interested in getting our ar$20 entry than our potential ar$100s of spending. they wouldn't let even one of us look inside while the others waited outside, and lied to us about the quality and quantity of girls inside. one person paid to look, and we almost(?) had to create a scene get his fee back. IMHO, BLACKS IS A TOURIST TRAP, AND TREATS GRINGOS LIKE SUCH. and what i know of the prices, it's at best merely too expensive.

well, it was 3a, we weren't gonna find quality pro-action, so we went to buenos aires news, a popular club (non-pro scene). there were numerous attractive girls here, plenty of 5-8+'s. i danced with one, and got a number (and had a date the next night, in attempt to set me up for my december visit when i might have quiet nights around xmas?). ba news was fun, even if we didn't score final action.


DAY-3

b.player comes over we spend the early part of the day having a 'casting call' of internet girls. see, so many have their face blocked out (the pix are real - not blue asterisks - just no faces in the pix) so we had a session where we try to get like 20+ to drop by. hell, it's only ar$10 to send them home, and this way well know who we want later in the trip. turns out it’s more fun than hitting on girls in u.s. bars… anyway, nearly all were disappointments! paulina at parasio has total fake pix, as does brenda/daniela/aldana (multiple sites). maria tia (platynum and another) is married and not working anymore (good for her!). rocio/camil (i think there's a different camil on another site maybe) never answered. erica (don't know site, ph is 4825-0085) has the body as in pix, but her hair was short and not the same color, borderline keeper. andrea at area-vip is a cutie, and has a new friend in town from sao paulo. she is true to the pix, but has the brasilian “i'm gonna work you” attitude, and wouldn't move off of ar$200/hr. too bad, we we're ready to double date them, incl dinner in palermo vieja.

anyway, for the night i have a date, and the others do their own things (maybe they’ll report?).


DAY-4

i hook up with sandy (argentina-escorts, platynum) in the morning. a real sweetheart, i'd have to echo everything saint has written. ar$100/hr for 2hr which lasted much longer, and all of a good time. i try to get her to join us for lunch, but she needs to do things, so as b.player, my partner from boston and i go to meet eze_a we give sandy a ride to her place. we do a drive by (visual) of orleans to get eze_a and then head to a great lunch a block away down san martin (towards plaza san martin from orleans, can’t remember the name but it’s “the something”, ending in –aba or –ado or similar). excellent lunch, i know b.player repeated there after i left. the day ended with fun hitting on local girls along florida st. on a weekday, florida is packed with locals, just doing their business, and we had a great time flirting. i was flying home within a couple of hours, so i couldn’t do much of it, but if you like to work amateurs, it’s a good place to spend daytime hours…


ok, that’s about it, hope you find it helpful. to finish, let me comment on some postings since my departure, or make some general comments:


1) to close the debate for now, artsuites is still very girl friendly. and the staff is the best - so nice… it remains my favorite place to stay.

2) mayri is the best. if you need help with hotel, car, travel, and any questions on the city itself, call her. there is no nicer person in ba to help you.

3) 2254 french is a nice place, and merian is very nice (but could fix her breath), but the girls are not that pretty, 3-6s imho.

4) taxis are everywhere, easier to hail than even nyc or sf.

5) there are many girls that will throw out prices higher than the “norm”. some of these you may negotiate down, others won’t.

6) you can buy candles and little gift items in the mini-bazaar near the cemetery, on the side where quintana dead ends. makes your hotel or apt much more romantic, and the little jewery or gifts make nice gifts for your girls.

7) barrios like recoletta, and palermo are safe for you… at night as safe as walking a street in say boston’s back bay, nyc’s chelsea, pacific heights or nob hill in sf, etc. centro or retiro are more like downtown, not quite comfortable (even if still as safe). once is a different story i’d think.

Day Seven (Bonus Day)

I woke up early, and packed my stuff so I could check out at noon, while leaving my bags behind the front desk. I had to go to 4 banks, before I found one to take my card. The one I had used earlier in my trip (turn right outside the Etoile, down 1 block past the corner, turn right on the right), wasn’t working for some reason. I had to have cash, because I had only enough to pay the hotel and my changed flight. I finally found a Banco Boston on Santa Fe that worked. While I was in the taxi Mayra called to confirm that she had arranged for a driver for that night, and I returned to the neighborhood of the hotel to just hang out at the cafes, take pictures, and flirt with the girl at the restaurants. It was a nice way to spend a morning. The staff at La Estrada were especially friendly, insisting on taking photos with me, and showing me the menus (one in Spanish, one English). Around noon, I decided to take a Monday afternoon shot at Orleans café. The waiter knew me by now, and gave me a good seat. The place was packed with local businessmen having lunch, two other Americans that had just arrived the day before, and maybe a half dozen girls. I sat and sipped my espresso, and watched more girls come and go. There were a couple of real cuties, but definitely on average 5 to 10 years older than the club girls. I’ll bet if you had time to be patient you could pull some decent sessions. I called the guys, and they decided to come down to meet me after Leo finished his current date with Sandy, so we could go to lunch. Of course I was working a little portena, getting her number for my next trip, when the guys walked in tossing me shit about always working. It’s a tough job… So, we went to a restaurant a couple blocks down San Martin called El Estabo that Sandy had suggested. We had the best steaks I’ve had on my trip. They had to have been a pound or more, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly done medium rare to my taste. 13 pesos for the steak, 20 for my share including beers, a bottle of wine, and an after dinner liquor. Then we took a stroll down Florida for a few blocks, while getting practically attacked by the street girls. One particular group pinched us on the asses, it was hilarious. I had only a half hour to go, so we parted ways there, and the rest of my day was uneventful, just the usual…don’t want to leave but have to..

So you organized a chica parade at artsuites ? Great idea, how about including trannies and freaks for the next time, it costs just u$s 2 to send them back, but you, the hotel managemnt and the other guests will have a shitload of fun !
- Yes I'm being sarcastic - we've got plenty of people here calling for discrection at that place - and here you go with your casting call. You even had the face to say that they are still friendly, isn't that great news (sarcastic again).

BTW, from you report in general I get the feeling that you haven't really snatched much - may be the next time a little bit less of attention to looks, and more to attitude and other human qualities will get you more fun. I may be wrong, but I don't think you need to fly out to be hanging with the guys, buying leather and getting numbers at the disco.

I have completed my first day back "in the real world", and it sucks. I miss BA so much, I just can't get it out of my head, and certain girls have definitely kept a piece of my heart. All day I kept thinking what I had been doing exactly 48 hours before, and I found my real life sorely lacking. I have absolutely decided to change careers, to allow myself to live down there at least half time. I know that may sound drastic, but the place gets ahold of you and into your blood. Overall, I think I had a pretty decent first trip, but I'll let you guys who have been there before be the judges of that. I intended to see three girls a day while there, but ended up having such long extended sessions, that I just wasn't physically up to it. In fact I have been going to Rio all summer on business and have enjoyed the perks. I have nothing to add about HELP, Barbarella or Frank' Bar that has not already been said. I'm getting bad vibes from this board. Leave the guy alone! Leo has reported back some excellent information and added to a resource that we all use. Every hunter picks his own tactics. Innovation is part of this process.

I have used a multitude of tactics ranging from email (pen pall) befriending of chicas, to news group contact meetings, to university notice boards. Each tactic has it merits as well as its down sides. Vacation time at the location we are hunting in will dictate what we do in the time available.

To have a string of ladies present for viewing is exactly the same as those very same ladies being presented in anyone of a million bordellos and pleasure houses across the planet. To have these very same ladies come over to your place for a viewing is no different, especially when they are not left out of pocket financially. The basics here are that you are buying a service. We must not forget that.

Have been a regular visitor to BA as have family there.
