Here is a year's worth of observation on holidays in Argentina. It seems like whenever there is a holiday on the weekend, it automatically extends to Monday for a "largo fin de semana". Buenos Aires and Rio are two totally different places. It's hard to even compare the two. They are like night and day. If you like the beach definitely hit Rio. Then you can fly home back to Chicago from Rio on American. All for the same # of miles as only going to Buenos Aires. If you have the time you should always fly to two gateway cities with an award ticket. It's a good use of miles. Good luck.

I was in the neighborhood of Suipacha to visit the leather stores. I purchased a custom tailored jacket made from the most supple calf skin that I have ever felt for US$153. They made it for me in two days. I hope that I paid a decent price.
It was the middle of the day, so I decided to check out the apartment girls at 921 Suipacha # 6 C. I waited a long time to be let in, rode the elevator up, and was led to a darkened bedroom.
