Toosh or whoever else has been to the reopened Shampoo nightclub, please keep us informed ... it sound to be good value compared to Black and Playwomen ... many chicas in there ??? average quality ?? did you have to pay to get the chica out of the club ??? where is it exactly located ???

I did not go into Shampoo until almost 4 AM. I´ve become quite a night owl since I arrived here. The selection at that time was not all that great so I went for the best girl I could find at that time. I am not sure what the selection would be at 12:00 or 1:00 AM. I´m sure it would be better.

The girl originally wanted 200 pesos but since it was very late she either had to take that or not get anything at all. Perhaps if it were earlier she would not have come down that much.

The bar itself is a nice place. Certainly better that some of the other places that are commonly mentioned here. Since I leave today I will not be able to add anymore to the discussion about Shampoo.

I went to Shampoo last night. It´s at 362 Quintara. Thanks to the guy who gave a location earlier. You can´t miss it, there are guys handing out cards on the corners. It´s a very classy club. Classier than Black. Entrance is 20 pesos including 1 drink. Happy hour is between 9 and 10. I showed up at around 10:30. It was pretty dead. There were a couple of other guys there. There are dancers. There were about 5 or 6 girls working there when I got there. They were between 4 and 7s, nothing to write home about. My Spanish isn´t so great, but I thought that one of the working girls told me that the dancers worked too. But after a full rotation of dancers, I didn´t see any on the floor. Which is OK, they were 7 and 8s. I wished the waitress´s worked though. 3 of them were easily 9 and 10s. After about an hour, there were many more men but not anymore girls. Maybe I was there too early. I left for Blacks.

Blacks, as usual, was jammed full of 8, 9 and 10s. What was unusual this time, is that the doorman didn´t make me pay an entrance fee. I was waiting in line and he just told me to go on up. The thing I don´t like about Blacks is that the men and girls don´t mix it up much like in the other clubs. The men are on one side and the women on the other. It´s like a junior high school dance. It´s hard to get a vibe about a girl without making a choice first. At other clubs, PlayWoman, you can talk to a few and get a good vibe before settling down for drinks. Anyways, I choose Daniella a 10 in my book. Blond, incredible body and 23. We had some drinks and a nice talk. I asked how much it would be to have her come back to the hotel with me. She says 300 dollars. To me, that´s ridiculous. The last time I was here I thought 100 dollars was a lot in Blacks. I talk here down to 100 dollars. Which seem to put a pale on her attitude. She went from bubblely to merely friendly. There was no way I was going to pay 300 dollars. The sex was good, but lacked that special vibe you get with some of the girls. In fact, I´ve never had such a great time with any Blacks girl. They look incredible, but they aren´t very GFE. Considering that they cost about twice as much as a girl from PlayWoman, I think I´m going to shy away from Blacks. It comes down to either getting 1 girl from Blacks or 2 from PlayWoman or Platynum for about the same money. I´ll get the two. You can find some incredible women at PlayWoman or Platynum. In fact Platynum women cost about 200 pesos and no bar fees of about 100 pesos or so, they are a damn good value.

I thought the ATM issues were over. A couple of days ago, I didn´t have any trouble getting cash. Today, I noticed that no one was using the ATMs. A bad sign. Sure enough I´ve tried about 10 ATMs with 2 different cards. There´s no money to be had. I was hoping to stock up before the weekend. I had to cash in some precious dollars out of my reserve. BRING DOLLARS!!!!!!

Oh, can someone give me some advice about the Platynum girls. Like what hours most of them work. Sometimes I don´t find anything in the clubs and think about calling, but it´s 2 in the morning. Is that too late? I figure they need to sleep sometime.

Way to go Bapunter. (but bummer about that Claudia girl. Do you know what other names she might go by?) But the other thing is to take what some of these girls say with a grain of salt. I've learned that some of these girls hate eachother. While I was in Playwoman a few of them saw that I was interested in one and they would tell me all kinds of stories about that girl. Some of these girls are ruthless!

If you're gonna cut BBBJ's from your repertoire then you better add kissing, oral on her and some other things to your list. No one said there is not risks associated with this hobby. Hunters have their risks and they take their own precautions. (one of them is wearing this silly looking orange florescent vests..ha, ha). As far as Blacks...you've discovered the same as all of us. I wonder if that Daniela is the same one that tried husling me? If so, we have different play "books". The one that I talked to i wouldn't give higher than a 7.5. The Daniela I talked to was also a blonde, from Brazil (almost looked German), was pretty but not gorgeous. She also wanted something astronomical. Like I've said before, NEVER take the first offer you get unless it's reasonable. These girls WILL deal.

As far as the question about Platynum girls.....It's only my opinion and I'm NO expert on the website girls but who cares how late it is. Try them whatever time you want to see them. If they are available they will answer the phone... if not..they won't. These girls after all are escorts not physicians on call. Most I'm sure are up late. Even if they are sleeping, I'm sure they'd rather be up making money. Until the IMF bails Argentina out..... WE are the "IMF" for them. Tourism is the only industry growing right now in BA. We are spending a ton in B.A.

What about American Express or Thomas Cook travelers checks in US Dollars? Are they difficult to exchange at a fair rate? Do you have to wait on long lines at banks?

Also for cash what denominations do you suggest? $50, $100's....what would be the best mix of cash, travelers checks, and relying on your ATM, give the situation in BA now and in the near future.

Saint, I know what you are talking about the girls bad mouthing each other. Some of them do it all the time. Almost everyone bad mouths Lisa. Who happens to be one of the hottest girls there. On the otherhand, some of the girls are great. If they are talking to you and they get the vibe that your´re not interested. They´ll ask you who you are looking at and bring them over for you. Hello to all the great posters on the site. I think I have read every article in the archives just to get the feel of BA. Something has developed where I will be traveling to BA 3-4 times per year.

So, I have a few questions for those with the great local knowledge.

1. Of course I have looked at most of the escort sites and my take on them is as follows. Most sites do not give prices, except for Escorts-Argentina. All of the advertisers offer $100.00 usd. This just seems crazy ( 360 pesos ). I have looked at the Rubio 59 site which does have prices in USD and the prices ar $16 - 41, with many at $22 and $27 ( 80 -100 pesos) and these are many of the same girls on platynum and Escorts argentina. So what is the opinion of the crew on the $100.00 usd offers, is this just fishing for a fat wallet / uninformed tourist?
It appears that almost any girl is available for 100 - 150 P, if you are a little savy how you make the connection. And some really beutiful girls for 80 p as well.
The ads from Rubio 59 all say $ per hour, but most of the reports say that club sessions are about 1.5 hours on average. Are the lower prices possibly due to a shorter time? They also say Tiempo completo, translation = TIME COMPLETE?, is this the same as COMPLETE service or is this a full hour without a refference to anal. I am not clear on this point - In Brazil Complete means with Greek ( Am I wrong here? ) But that is Brazil. Or are they available for escort until 11:00 pm and then off to work at the clubs? Some of the escorts list hours to 11:00 ( 21:00 ) , is this a signal that they need to get to club at that time? They have to sleep sometime!
3. What is the policy to get the numbers of the beauties for the next day. ie, if you drop the entry fee to get into Blacks, it appears that if you ask someone over you are commited to buy a drink for them, so if you want to talk to one, it will cost you 30? pesos for this privledge. Can you just say to her, hey your fabulous and I would love to see you outside of the club and get a number on a napkin? Is this how it works. It sounds like some of the other clubs you can make contact without the comitment. True or false. It sounds like a plan to get the number a beauty from the club and try to arrange for the next afternoon - at half price!

Argentinian Pesos are demoninated with the $, same as the US. Those prices are in $Pesos, not $US. This from an earlier message. But I don't recall which one.

For completo, see Hulk's posting on 8/2. It means oral, vaginal, and anal service, if not advertised it may be available, usually $50 Pesos additional.

lotsafun - Thanks for the reply. I thought this was the case as well, so I emailed 3-4 of the Escort Argentina girls and they all replied dollares american $100. So I think they are just hoping that they will get the higher price.

Actually lotsafun. You are mistaken. The prices on that site are indeed quoted in US Dollars. Trust me. I met with one of the owners for lunch while I was in B.A. BUT, what they are asking for and what you negotiate are two different things. I personally wouldn't pay $100 US for a short time visit but who knows..maybe some of these beauties are worth it. I actually ended up paying a few girls a ton of money for all nighters.

ibiza007, your post is too long for me to try to answer now but I think most of those questions are indeed answered throughout the April/May postings.

The true superstars you'll be very lucky to pay less than 200 pesos for a short time session. This is all IMHO (in my humble opinion) but let's keep things in perspective too. 200 pesos is still only about $55 US. I'm not saying that you won't be able to find any super hotties willing to go for less but you shouldn't give people the idea that all these Playboy type girls are willing to spread their legs for a few pesos. (Most of the super hotties on Area-Vip were happy with 200 - 250 pesos for a short time visit and this was back in May when the exchange rate was 3.15 - 3.20). I don't know about Greek as I'm not into it. I never inquired about this service although 2 asked if I was interested but i passed.

(2) NO, these girls that are on the various websites do not work in the clubs too. There may be a few exceptions but all the ones I asked looked at me like I was crazy. And the girls in the clubs for the most part think you are nuts if you tell them you see girls from the internet. A few tried telling me horror stories about internet girls but I just smiled and told them I was having good luck. The internet girls like the freedom of working when they want. The club girls are kind of slaves to their jobs. Once they show up they have to work. It's interesting because sometimes a girl might ask you to buy her fee out so she can go home. These girls for the most part sleep during the day and work at night.

(3) As far as getting numbers in the clubs. There probably isn't any true protocol to this but..... generally if you're sitting at a table or "booth" and a girl comes and sits with you then you might fell like a slug not at least buying a drink and chatting with her before getting her number. Personally i never walked into a club thinking I'd go home alone so I always bought drinks. Even if you don't select that particular girl you can use the purchased drinks towards your "exit" fee for either short term or all night. If you know you're not gonna see a girl and only want to get her number...just stand at the bar with your drink or if you're in Black's...just stand near the bar without sitting down. Tons of girls are walking around. If you see a hottie, get her attention and tell her something like you've been working all day and you're really tired. That you'd love to spend some time with her but you need some rest tonight. Ask her if there is a possibility of her coming to your hotel tomorrow (later tonight, etc.). You can almost bet most will give you her #.

If your spanish is weak just ask your waitress to help you. Personally I didn't get numbers on "napkins". I have this pretty cool wallet from Mont Blanc. It has a little notepad of paper attached to it. It also has a little slot for a little pencil (the kind you use at the putt putt golf places). I'd simply BS with the girl a little and hand her the pencil and note pad and she'd write her #'s on it. Worked like a charm. Or, alternatively, you can write your hotel and room # on it and they can call you. I tried to be like a boy scout and was prepared. If you're interested, there is a Mont Blanc store in Recoleta. You don't have to spend $150 on the wallet. They sell the notepad refill pads for about $2. It's classy looking and better than going around collecting numbers on napkins. I bought a 5 pack box of refills for around $10 US.


Go back and read posts from Otto, Umgman, Yabba, Drgn, Jackson, L.A. Larry and others. Most of these guys are pretty on target about being realist with what the superstars will go for. Nothing for nothing but as I always say..take these posts with a grain of salt. Just because some stranger on the board posts that he paid 100 pesos for a "10"...take it from me...his "10" and your "10 " are two different things.

Do NOT go down expecting to pay much less than 200 pesos for a short time visit with a total hottie. Otherwise you'll spend way more than your budget. I really believe in being realistic when posting to these boards. B.A. is NO Rio or Sao Paulo. Those that love Brazil might hate B.A.

P.S. In my opinion, very few girls look as good in person as their pictures on the site. I've mentioned this time and time again but i'll mention it again. Case in point, I saw Wanda from Area-vip (Dion from Platynum). Although she was the same person on the site, when she arrived she had very little make up on. Her hair looked NOTHING like the website. Her body WAS very good but her face didn't look as good. The session was good though.

I have a compaq PDA that you can write on. I use this to store tons of info on new cities, I can save web pages, word files etc. in the thing and then I have a complete file with me. I have about 50 web pages stored already. I probably would not carry this around at night, a little big - bulky. But it is great for the hotel to refresh your memory and keep a few ideas in mind for the daytime.

I have pretty much the same thoughts on pictures of escort, usually less impresive in real life. Still very nice but not the dream in the photo.

Here are my humble answers to some random questions I saw, in no particular order---

1) Greta--my God yes, call her and pray that she is available. Yes, she looks like those pix you saw on her website. You will like her three b's and a j kind of service. I think I paid 150 p, which is unreal. I did a review of her some time back as Zamantha. How quickly we fade to obscurity.

2)At least for all the girls (10 or so) I talked to on Platynum, roughly 80-180 p. I did pay 300 p for an Escorts Arg girl. I'd stick with Platynum.

3) You can exchange travellers checks for US dollars at the cambio for a very minimal fee.

4) The Platynum girls list their hours of operation. If it says full time, call em whenever.

5) Keep everything in perspective, boys. Sure, if you refuse to pay that extra 18 dollars you might feel justified, but someone else will get to molest your lust object while you screw a pooch for cheap. Fun comes first.

6)yes, tack on 60-70 p for exit fees on top of girls asking price

7) do no overlook Anastacia on Platynum.
