I think the true story is
But I haven't been able to find it anywhere lately, so I contacted the company and received this response:
Dear Mr. *******,.
My name is Cynthia Medrano from Sandoz Laboratory. I am writing you to let you know that you won't be able to find the product Sildenafil in pharmacies in Buenos Aires for a period of 3 or 4 months, mainly because there is a big delay in Production in our Laboratory. Because of this, the best option for you, it would be to contact your Doctor again and ask him for another product to replace Sildenafil (there are at least 30 others Laboratories in Buenos Aires that provide this molecule, you should ask your Doctor for advice)
We are really sorry for this inconvenient and we remind you that Sandoz Laboratory is doing as much as we can to normalize this situation as soon as possible. We will keep you updated with the latest news.
Best regards,.
Cynthia Medrano.

What this really means is that since AP put out the info on where to buy it cheap in Buenos Aires, a bunch of horny gringos have cornered the market and are hording thrie supplies. It is supply vs. demand...
Recoleta pharmacia? Doc appt for scrip?
Best to go to Tejano Libre's favorite pharmacy at Venezuela and Saenz Pena.;) I don't know about things like Vicodin but they do have the local generics for many different anxiolytics.
Has anyone bought V or the generic version thereof in a Recoleta pharm recently? I am staying there, getting in early and have date same day. If I can avoid a serious trek for meds on day one, I want to. V has been best to me over the years, so I try to find that when I wander Latin America.
Also, I want to pick up some ambien (or generic zolpidem variant) at some point and have no problem doing a quickie doc visit to get a locally acceptable scrip. If anyone knows a reasonable doc who speaks some English (I speak some Spanish, but not much, I would make an appointment in a heartbeat.
Just PM'd the same advice
You don't need no stinking script in Buenos Aires. Go to Pharmacia Azul on Cordoba between San Martin and Florida.
You can get cialis at most of the Recoleta Farmacitys and some of the mom & pop shops. For some reason, they seem less interested in provide vitamin V
