The 50 pesos or 150 pesos a night is again relative. You will probably only go out with a girl once or twice while, usually I keep on seeing a chica I like and maybe go out with her four or five times in a month and I have known many for a few years.

All I'm pointing out (or trying to) is that we all have different situations and 300 pesos is expected of certain situations, 150 from others and 50 from others.

And before you feel like a schmuck about anything, remember that at 150 pesos a night a chica will make around (working 25 nights) 3750 pesos a month. A doctor working at a state hospital for 25 days a month gets between 2400 pesos and 3500 (and a nurse about 1500)

No matter what the price they were paying, they were having a hoot of a time.

I spoke with a couple chicas I've met there at Orleans and they told me they (the irishmen) were coming in everyday and paying full price.

The chicas were happy and the Irishmen seemed pretty jolly too:)

One of the guys was trying to tell a couple chicas to go away, and he kept saying "vamos, vamos", confusing the chicas.

Sometimes, in Bangkok, when the girls come spilling out of the clubs and bars after midnight, I look and look and look and can't find the one that I would take home. Me and a buddy just missed a very nasty, knock down, broken bottle fight at Orleans this afternoon. We were there from about 5 to 5:45 more or less, and saw a guy at a table with two chicas, who bought two bottles of champagne. He didn't look like he was made of money, so we thought this guy might have a rude awakening when his bill comes. So, we leave, grab a bite to eat at Barbaro, and return coming up Cordoba from Reconquista. There is a big crowd outside Orleans, pedestrians, hookers and as we close in, noticeable blood scattered all over the pavement just outside the door, and some small pools of blood just inside the door. Tables and chairs strewn all over the place. Apparently the champagne buyer got into it with another guy and they attacked each other with broken bottles. Both cut up good and hauled away by the boys in blue. One non working chica we spoke with had blood droplets scattered on the back of her legs and skirt, and said she just happened to be walking by when the fight spilled out the door!

There is a broken window in the door as a result of the melee. I was in there tonight and the chicas did not want to talk about it. Sounded like it was verboten.

The blood has been washed away, nothing to see here move along.
