Whenever I come to Buenos Aires, I always look for Sylvia from Ness. She is very pretty and the sex is hot.

This club last night probably already too trashed - in retrospect this is the point in the evening I should have run home. Anyway - was buying drinks for a girl and an older friend of hers (not really a friend I gather but co-worker) came over and started doing the occasional translation.

Turns out WHATEVER that stuff was - it was damn pricy close to 300 peso for three shots - maybe I was getting screwed but I asked him three times for the price and he just nodded apologetically. Live and learn. Anybody know?

Anyway - the older co-worker started asking me for a propina (tip I gather) and I was like kiddo, your tip is me having just gotten you drunk. She took her 100 peso drink and poured it out over the bar, no accidental spill here. She said she only makes 5 peso a drink or 5% a drink - something.

Of course that pissed me off but good, and I left the establishment. My gal came running out after me - but I just told her I wasn't going to take her after recieving that kind of treatment from her bar. The bartender saw the whole thing and didn't try to make amends.

Anyway - I won't be back to this club again, (but I'm sure I won't be missed either)

Just wanted to say that it's a common thing, "buy a drink for my friend!" Tell her her friend can go find her own gringo to buy her a drink. Two's company, three's definitely a crowd, and especially at those prices.

I made my nightly walk thru Ness last night with my fellow monger wingman and stopped when he found the particular chica he has been looking for this trip. This information from reliable friend. Two nights ago in Ness, he came in about 2:30 in the morning. After buying a chica and himself a drink he gave the waiter a 100 peso note. (a new, still crinkly bill) and the waiter shortly returned with an old ragged 100 peso note, saying that his (my friends) 100 peso note was bad, a counterfeit. My friend was well aware that his bill was good and insisted on the proper change and firmly and calmly said that they should call the police and in fact, he had a number they could call, a police official that he knew. Eventually they backed off and gave him his proper change and blamed it on the waiter who blamed it on the cashier, ect.

The crazy part of all this was that this same thing had happened almost a year ago in Ness to him, with the same result!

That the waiters and bartenders in these joints are often sleazebags should come as no suprise. The best process is to carefully note the condition of your bill before giving it to them.

Went last nite. Super dark. But I pulled out 2 girls. (not bad at all)
