I liked the Lido, across from the Pantheon de Heroes; there was a good "por-kilo" buffet on the south side of Palma, east of 14 de Mayo; out in Villa Morro, I really enjoyed the Hacienda de las Palomas (Mexican) the Paulista Grill (rodizio) and Acuarela (rodizio) Then there was "La Paraguayita," which is on Avenida Brasilia a couple of blocks north of Avda. Espana (in the Mariscal Lopez neighborhood) - I loved their cazuela de surubi.

We ate at Lido, They burned The hamburgers. After seeing the quality of the other food and how it was prepared I would hit my dick with a hammer before I ate at a Paraguayan buffet. I did walk by it though.

We stayed at the Guarani Esplendor. An alleged 4 star hotel. In the breakfast buffet the orange juice was Tang, the bread, and cereal were stale, and the sausages were made from old tires.

I the best food I had was a pizza at a Chopeteria.

We did not get out to Villa Mora, there may be nice places there, I dunno.

I am glad to be back in BA. In four hours I have had a great BBBJ and a great Lomo.

According to [url=http://www.embaparusa.gov.py/visas_english.html]Paraguayan Embassy in Washington website[/url], the mulitple entry visa is now $100 and single entry is $65.

You are right. But because the taxi drivers here try to scam you, I didn't feel like asking them for a favor and was of course a bit "over" confident. But after the taxi left, the dark street and ringing the bell of a lonely house and awaiting endlessly for the door to open, send a eerie feeling down my throat.

You're right, the area where you were is very quiet at night. When I was there my myself at night I asked the house to call me a cab as I was getting ready to leave after my session. I'm sorry to hear about the scam, I've never had any problems whatsoever with the cabs I've taken. Granted, they are a bit expensive in relation to the price of everything else there.
