Does anyone know which hotels if any have american pay per view movies. I am looking for a hotel with as much American television as possible. Also has anyone tried bringing a DVD player and movies. Do televisions in Argentina have different inputs? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When I was last October in BA I asked Myra to make a reservation for me at the Etoil in Recoleta. That was the smartest thing to do. I got the local rate, Myra made some commission and I am sure when I come next time I get again the preferential treatment. I do not mind spending money but I want to have also a return on my investment.
Again - if you need a hotel in BA - ask Myra. She can tell you what your really can expect and if it is worth your money.

Hotel Etoile has been chica friendly for many years.
Can someone give me an update on this subject.
I've heard that you can bring in more than one girl at the same time which one couldn't on ´my two previous visits.

I tried to bring two back last night and they let me but I had to pay an extra 50 pesos.
Still all in all the etoile is still the best place to stay, a real value considering the location, staff and the health club.

Regarding the question of more than one visitor -
You might want to consider Hotel Grand Boulevard. It's out of Recoleta down by the Obeliska on 9 De Julio, about 10 minutes from Recoleta or 5 from Suipacha area. It's a new place and is very chica friendly. Suites are around 70 per day and regular rooms about 40. It is a lot nicer than Etoile, but does not have a gym. The most chicas I have had there at once is 3. Mickey Mouse put me onto this place.

Report on Argenta Tower
868 Juncal at Suipacha
This place was a very pleasant surprise. Located in Retiro right between Centro and Recoleta and easy walking distance from both, I found it exceptionally clean and well provisioned. Travelocity has an executive suite listed at $150 per night, but you can book it direct for $100 via their website. Excellent king size bed and a wonderfully appointed bathroom. Best selling point is the outdoor rooftop pool on the 12th floor with adjoining gym and a great view, and the lobby restaurant Vivaldi.
The staff are friendly, efficient, and very professional. They always had someone on the desk who spoke English. I suppose there may be better deals in BA for the super price conscious folks, but for my money this place has just the kind of laid back quality and close to everything location I love. Chica friendly with a smile.
Bozology rates it a 9.

Does anyone have any info on the Penthouse of the ulises recoletta. Is it guest friendly, modern, ect. Are there other places close by of similar or better value. Is it large enough to have a small party / meeting of say 8 to 10 people?
Thanks

Doing a one night layover in Buenos Aires enroute to Chile. I want to know of any 4 or 5 star chica-friendly hotel in the center where I can just walk to where the action is...I mean walk to the clubs where the girls are at and be able to bring them back to the room.
Location is a priority and not the price. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

HC,
LoisSuites Recoleta is probably your best bet. ~US$115 a night right next to Recoleta Cemetery.
Alvear Palace is in the same area, and is the best hotel in BsAs (you said money is no object!), but I don't know if it is chica friendly or not.

Hobbyinhouston,
I stayed in the penthouse at the Ulisses on my 2nd trip last year. The hotel was very guest friendly, I never had to sign in a guest, and you can have as many guests at a time as you want. The hotel is small but clean, modern, but not by US standards. As to the question of a party, the salon is large with a skylight (great lighting throughout the suite for photography), but you will have seating for only seven or eight including barstools, I think there are two chairs in the bedroom you could also use if needed. The bar is great complete with a sink, and they will bring in an additional fridge if needed. There are 1 and 1/2 bathrooms which makes it convenient to entertain, and the only complaint I have about the suite is there is no bath tub, and the shower is so small you can barely turn around in it. The chicas loved the room, many of them commenting on how large it is for a hotel. It feels more like an apartment with the layout of the rooms.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating, the restaurant is small and you are better off eating elsewhere. The lobby is small and they keep it locked at night, with a 24 hr desk man to buzz you in. Great location accross the street from Alvear Palace, and kitty corner to Black, just one block to the Etoile and all the restaurants.
Hope this is helpful, pm me if you have any questions.

Ho_Chaser the Alvear Palace is very Chica friendly and Black is right across the street --- Last I checked the rooms were in the $400 USD range --- Also the next best place is the Four Seasons Hotel which is of course where Fidel Castro stays when hes in town --- Either one you'll have a good time --- By the way I made friends with the door man at the Alvear Palace and he was telling me stories of the former president of Argentina Menan whom kept a suite at the Alvear Palace --- He'd drive in in his Limo to the under ground parking lot, get in the elevator in the garage and go directly to his room --- His body guards would then go across the street to Black and fetch his sweetie pie, put her on the elevator in the main lobby up to his room so they could fuck --- True Story

Thanks for all the recommendations. I shouldn't have said that price is not an issue..it is, but I am good up to $206 USD for lodging expense. I am going to price the Four Seasons to see if they're within the budget even though this is just an overnight stay in Buenos Aires. The Etoile is a about $20 USD over, but I may be able to justify it.
Any other recommendations as far as hotels within $200 USD, to include the ideal walking distance to the locations where I need to monger at? I really don't want to take a taxi, so I prefer a location that is convenient for walking. I will be coming in from the Middle East, so I'll be jet-lagged and bone-tired and would only want to fuck and relax, and maybe even get a massage, LOL! Thanks again for the prompt replies.
Keep on having fun!

Ho_chaser,
I am staying at the Etoile next week for less than $100/night. Call them directly and you will get a better deal.
Hope this helps,

Ho_Chaser --- I think your best option is Otto's recomendation LoisSuites on Vincente Lopez right in the heart of things --- Excellent accomadations, a truly first class hotel and very Chica friendly --- Your only other option worth considering would be the Etoile, which is truly a dog house --- I won't stay there, but it has one perk worth considering --- If you rent a diplomatic suite, (about $100 USD), it comes with a large hot tub which would easly hold 4 or 5 people --- Now consider this --- If its only going to be a one night fling you might want to consider the hot tub and hire 2 or 3 girls and make it a real fuck fest --- Have a good time and I'll bet you return to Buenos Aires --- Exon
