I, for one, appreciate the price information. It appears that personal drinks and chica drinks have both risen 25 pesos since I was there in November 2013.

Paid a visit to Hook tonight around 3 am., my second visit this trip. Both times there were a lot of chicas, but for the most part they ignore customers. I had a 150 peso coke and tried to make eye contact with a few prospects but was unsuccessful. They sit around the bar and tables staring at their cell phones and chatting amongst themselves as if the club was empty. Maybe it's a negative sell strategy, i.e. act disinterested and make the customer grovel for their attention to jack up the price, or maybe they just don't care. It's a very different experience compared to the service and attention one gets in a good privado at less than half the price.

The change in management hasn't changed habits. At 3 AM they are all waiting for their pimps / dealers to pick them up to take them home. To start talking to you at 3 AM and having the required drink means if they are lucky they will be leaving with you at approximately closing time. To catch their attention at that time you need to have a very flashy lure. Read: thick wallet.

1. Relatively clean.

2. Well managed. Problems dealt with on the spot.

3. I had many interactions with ladies. If our eyes met twice they were on the way over. A couple busy with their phones but really nothing remarkable.

4. All quote high but quickly change their mind just for you if you laugh and say thanks have a great night.

5. Monica the bartender is fantastic and speaks some English. Talk to her and you 15 dollar drink will have about 4-5 ounces of alcohol in it. I like rum and I like bourbon. I ordered each with a coke and she seriously gave me about 4 ounces of bourbon.

6. 2 drink minimum to TLN- sucks but they do have 4-5 girls dancing constantly and keep the place clean so WTF.

7. Tamara: about 29 yo, face a 6, body 8 (a dancer there), attitude 10, English more than enough, No sin, but the proof is in the pudding she had memorized my address and TLN seriously means TLN. As much as I have tried she is like the energizer bunny probably due to dancing hours on end. Has the muscular control of a 19 yo and knows how to use it. Not the best looking in the place but hands down one of the best providers ever. BTW, left IPAD and about 500 dollars laying out accidently when I got in shower. When I realized what I had done I fully expected to get out and find the place empty, but instead she was busy helping me cure my new Matte and had not touched anything. Oh, and she loves kissing. If you are into this in public or private she is definitely someone you should look for.

Tell her Pete recommended her and suspect your impression will be very similar.

On my first visit to Hook this trip, I sat at one of the tables at the end of the bar because all the dancers have to walk past that table to change back into their club-clothes so it's easier to make contact. But none of them would make eye contact or smile as they passed my table except one, so I asked her to sit and chat with me. At that moment, 4 young asians entered the club, bought a bottle of champagne and sat on the couch by the dance poles. The girl I asked to sit and chat with me said that management had ordered her to go sit with the 4 asians, and that I should come back another time. So, I let that slide, and went to the "Point" which was also pointless.

On my last trip to Hook, I couldn't make any eye contact with any of the girls so I left after finishing my drink. On my way out, I chatted with the doorman outside (I can't remember his name) and told him about my experience and that I intended to write about it in the foros (forums). He asked me NOT to do that and attempted to pull me back into the club, which I resisted because I don't like to do things that way. Maybe the door-guy had a talk with "management" about that, and things will improve such as your experience. To date though, I still find the best looking girls who also provide the best service at half the club prices on sites like Bairesgirls dot net. Some of them give me their private numbers and will come to my apartment after hours.

Decided to give Hook another try tonight, but without success. So far I've easily pulled from Cattos, Excedra, and the Point for under $1,000 pesos, but for some reason the girls at Hook don't make eye contact and only talk amongst themselves and their cell phones.
