Min, if price is what's important to you, then you should know there are places in Buenos Aires where you can bust a nut for 30 pesos. I stand by what I said in my last post.

You didn't understand what I wrote. In my post I didn't say price was important for me. I said it's paying over the going rate that I refuse to do. Similarly, if the going price was 300 pesos, I would have paid it. There would be no reason for me to pay 450 pesos in that case.

Frankly, the going rate is what the chica you want is asking for at the moment and your decision is whether to pay it or not. I have travelled with friends that refused to pay a girl her asking price and then regretted it later and couldn't get the girl to go with them on another night for the previously asked price. Ultimately, the only gauge is what you can afford and what you are willing to pay. I don't buy the argument that if one girl is able to fleece someone and get them to pay an outrageous fee then all of the other girls will raise their prices the next day. Every businessman in the world who "tries to get top dollar for his product" slept through the part of Econ 101 where they discussed price elasticity of demand and maximizing total revenue. I have never rated the chicks at Madahos as so great. They are in general too skinny and bimboish for my taste. Exon, what you refer to is not marginal propensity to consume but diminishing marginal returns. Marginal propensity to consume has to do with the decision to save your money or spend it (on anything) and is one reason why the risk free rate of interest is (edit starts here) above zero; in other words, marginal propensity to consume is an element of the time value of money (end edit). [Originally I said, "this is why the risk free rate of interest is normally above the inflation rate"; that is wrong and makes no sense.
