My good friend Princess Boma Ozobia, Chairman of Juanita Hotels Nigeria Limited has allowed me to participate ( $ wise ) in the grand opening of her new hotel which will open early 2006.

Eat you're hearts out for missing out on becoming the next Mr Hilton . Make fun all you want but I'm the one with a suite named after me. They says its
" good to be king " well in this case " its good to know the queen "

The new hotel will be called Holiday Inn and it will be sited in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, says Princess Boma Ozobia, Chairman of Juanita Hotels Nigeria Limited, which is the holding company for the new entrant into the hospitality industry in the garden city.

Princess Ozobia said the hotel will open early 2006 and work has already commenced on the buildings adding that although there were other parties interested in partnering with Juanita Hotels Nigeria Limited for the project she would prefer young single American's who really know how to party.

Well, good luck with it amigo. With all of that money you should be able to throw one heck of a celebration party at Bush's Bar in Port Harcourt. Let us know how you make out!

in editing posts, both myself and dh tried to capitalize various letters in our posts, but the system will not allow it. Maybe it was a one time glitch, but be watchful for it.

p. S. In the sentence above, "this is a test," i wanted to capitalize the first letter in the word "test" to try it out again, and the system will not allow it. It will also not allow lower case of the "s" in p. S., and it will not allow a capital "i" after the phrase, "this is a test."

As you may have noticed, jackson, by some quirk of the site, the capitalization function is working only sporadically, and there is also some random spacing after non-letter characters, such as smilies and forward slashes.

When I try to view your site from Marriott I get a 502 proxy error. At first I thought they were being restrictive but I could get to Area-Vip.com.ar without a problem.

So, I'm coming in via a proxy (Unipeak). Anyway, thought you'd want to know.

Update: i picked up a copy of Anonymizer so I don't have to keep screwing with Anonymous Proxies. Worked lik a charm.

Among other bullshit, your cleanup script converts.

"y" to "why"

And that suck, because a single "y" is very common in spanish - it just means and, and occasionally it makes sense to quote spanish texts, I. E. Newspaper articles etc.

In those rare ocassions where you must type a single "y", which the script changes to "why", you may subsequently edit your report and reinsert the single "y".

In other words, the formatting script does not effect edited reports.

The script is not an artifical intelligence program. It simply corrects a number of common writing mistakes so that I don't have to do them manually, that's all. For example, I no longer have to capitalize the pronoun "I" 60 times a day like I once did, and I no longer have to put a space after a period at the end of a sentence like I did 50 times a day, etc.

You guys want to pick on the script's anomalies, but the fact is that it has reduced my bulk editing time by 90%. Conservatively, it saves me an hour a day of my time, and I value my time.

Of course, I still have to review and edit reports, which is where I'll still catch things like "-Y- the cure is worse than the disease. Cuz -.....even dum peeple kan stil git arund et purty gud....-" and change it to "Why, the cure is worse than the disease because even dum peeple kan stil git arund et purty gud."

BTW, I've never even attempted to correct spelling or grammer. The only thing I've ever asked for was correct capitalization and punctuation, so everyone still has plenty of opportunity to make themselves look like a idiot.

Well I'm sure that the capitalization errors are very aggravating to you. Perhaps if there was a character that you could put in before the uncaptialized letter, then we could get around it without annoying you too much. Such as, I paid her $120-US- dollars for the 15 minutes in her room. -Y- nada mas!

I don't think I would change jobs with you, and I know the BS level is pretty high many days.

Actually, all you need to do is write $US, or USD, or anything except a single "u" all by itself or next to a symbol.

For example:

$U or $U. or $U.S. will be edited.

$US, or USD will not be edited.

I bitched about this too but it is a work in progress and Jackson is addressing the issues that come up; for example, I complained that I could not use HTML to [b]bold[/b], [i]italicize[/i], and [u]underline[/u] and that seems to be corrected.

I wonder what the software does to Nibu's posts.

In the programmer's world, VB would generally refer to Visual Basic. However, in this instance, VB it refers to vBulletin, the publishers of the software that runs the Forum, and VB Code specifically refers to the unique codes that vBulletin has incorporated into it's programming to allow posters to add limited formatting to their text without using standard HTML tags.

Is there an effective way to log out of the WSG? I always use public computers and several times upon bringing up the ArgentinaPrivate site I see that someone has been here before me, and I am already logged in as that user. At least once (I always use the same net cafe) I saw that I was already logged in - I must have used that same computer earlier in the day. This is not good as many of us put more personal info in PMs such as names, tel numbers, etc. I've tried logging out and it doesnt always work.
