I went to Presidente Roca 1289 at around 11:30 pm. 2 fat (young) ladies. 180 p for an hour. I declined.
Tried Las Vegas, but it looks like they no longer are in business.
I will be going there and to san lorenzo for a few days. From the people who have been there recently told me a lot has changed in the last 6 months, is it true?

Last year, I went to Rosario. Thanks to your Rosario List, I had a great time there.
I went to Puerto Gaboto and ate fish.
They are great fish.
Happy birthday, WT69!
I am planning a trip to Rosario. A friend lives in the area and most of the information here seems old. Any new updates from locals?
I spent a couple days in Rosario recently. It was an easy four hour bus ride up Ruta 9. I had always heard it was the "most dangerous city in Argentina" from the Lonely Planet crowd. It was actually a very pleasant city. It was cleaner than Buenos Aires and fewer homeless people. I'm sure there are some slums on the outskirts of Rosario, but I didn't encounter any crime. Prices are lower than Buenos Aires. I didn't run into a single tourist, except for one Canadian.
Sites to see are Monumento Historico Nacional a la Banda, the aquarium, the racetrack, and Balneario La Florida on the north end of town. I enjoyed walking along the river for ten kilometers, but the mosquitoes were bad. Rosario Central and Newell's Old Boys are the two main soccer teams in the city.
I had excellent meals at Rock Y Fellar's at Orono 106. It is basically a Hard Rock Cafe with better food. Some of the hosts and female servers were quite attractive. El Establo at Pellegrini 1775 is a good place if you like parrilla. It is popular with locals. Many restaurants in the city will have fish from the Parana River.
