Picking this up from the streetwalkers thread as this is more specific to Newports.

A comment was made that got me curious on the SW thread - that some chica that used to work at Newport stopped because she didn't like having to give the bald bartender free sex, I presume as part of some quid pro quo of working there.

I'm not disputing or arguing this, I'd just like to know if any other members have similar or different information from gals you know there. I've never been told to go to one of their hotels, but I can confirm that at least half the times I've taken a girl out of Newport, the girl has either taken her own money out or asked me for some cambio to tip the doorman 5-10p as a condition of her leaving.

Also, sometimes there's no supervision for drinks, but at other times, I've been told by either the girl or the waitress that I need to buy a 12p copa drink as part of taking a girl out.

All just starting about a month or so ago, the first two months I visited, I never had this happen in Jan. Or Feb.

Interesting to read your reports about Newport, Madaho's and Black. They sort of confirm the observations I made 3 weeks ago. I also was quite positively impressed with the quality in Newport, pulled one chica, an extremely beautiful Brazilean called Carla from there. I as well was dissapointed from Madaho's, see my short report in that thread.

I have never been in Black, as the prospect of negotiating down a U$S 200 quote to something reasonable never appealed to me very much. But it looks a bit like the big clubs have overdone it with their prices - drinks and chicas. Locals just can't afford it any more, and there is just a limited supply of foreigners who can - and will.

For a European, poontang in Madaho's or Black is not cheap, compared to home. My drink, a chica drink and her fee add up to A$R 420, a bit over € 100. The same money buys admission plus a half hour pop in most German FKK's. Sure, not directly comparable experiences, but if these places would be the only ones in BA, rather dull. What of course makes a difference is that once you got the phone no. Most girls will be more than happy to spend an evening with you before going down to business. The "rent a girlfriend" thing.

At my personal opinion, Madaho's would net more by selling beer at A$R 20, imported booze at 30 - 40 and chica drinks at 30 - 50. People would stay for a few drinks and having a good time with a happy ending. And by quoting 250 and going for 150, the chicas would get a client per day instead of one per week. As said, just my personal opinion, maybe the board's chief economist could comment on it.

The only thing I am not concerned about is that there will ever be a real shortage of hookers in BA. Only the way to find them will change. Reason enough to come back again and again.

Before the devaluation of the dollar, Hippopotamus was open and a fun place to go. Trouble is, they simply charged too much. Entry fee was huge, a beer was $15 (that's U. S. Dollars) chica's drinks were $25 U. S, and the girls tried to extort tips out of the guys just for sitting with them.

Tonight I went in and twice left with different chicas; got home and started the process; and was told that I must pre-pay. Both times I got dressed and paid them 50 pesos and politely walked them back. Then it was 3:00am and I called it a night.

What's going on here? I'm not the most experienced monger, but I've usually been able to talk them into a pay after situation. Is the standard changing at the Newport or did I have sucker written on my forehead tonight? I can comunicate fairly well in spanish. Too bad I did not find Claudia.
