We have a certain poster on our hands who takes this board way too seriously. Most that have been involved in some flame wars here can step back and apologize, and understand how stupid it is to be arguing on the internet. For instance Dickhead has returned and displayed his lighter, more sensitive side.

Hunt99 just doesn't get it. My opinion is that he needs a time out to work on his inner self, maybe talk to a psychologist in Argentina about his problems and internet flame wars, and come back and start reporting and return to his old form. These days all he does is start shit, ***** and moan and complain, and I can't think of a flame war in the past 3 months in which he was not at the center.

A prime example is the latest fiasco over Nibu Rafael. Here we have Judd attempt to step in and calm things down, but once again all Hunt99 does is flame away at Judd. Is it really a big deal if Nibu is posting in these threads which are practically nonsense anyway? Jackson what you decide to do with Nibu Rafael is not important, it is more the fanaticism in which Hunt99 attacks other members of this board which is the problem.

Jackson I will lead by example. I declare myself troll and flame free from this point on. When will other members like Hunt99 grow up and do the same? Jackson I think it's time for some people here to shape up or ship out.

My poll indicates that Marak is more obnoxious than any other poster, but that Hunt is considerably (33%) more obnoxious than Nibu. This same poll rates me equally as obnoxious as Nibu. Why not ban Marak and Hunt first?

Well, one solution would be to just delete any post that either is completely off-topic or flames in a non-constructive way (and with no warning) I am guilty of this as well, BUT given my short time here, I am certainly less guilty than those who have attacked me. In addition, if you compare the posts of the last 3 months, you can easily see that I have also *reported on more chicas* than those who attack me. I don't see that anyone has room to criticize me. Its mostly a stream of drivel anyway, but my suggestion is when you have the urge to attack, keep your panties on and do some chica reporting instead!

Jackson received an email from Goblin containing disturbingly violent threats towards me, which he prudently forwarded to me. From there it was easy to asscertain that Goblin's email address was from an ISP in a large city in Western Canada.

Jackson did not provide me with any IP addresses. I hope this resolves Moore's concerns.

Just something to think about. In my own case since my screen name is an actual word, in slang anyway, several pages would have to be waded through.

At the very least I think it's advisable to have a screen name that you use for this board only. For example, I googled one monger's screen name and it led me to some other boards he posts on under the same name, one of which gives the city he lives in, and another one of which makes it easy to guess his profession. I know this guy and he is very careful about not telling people on this board where he lives, or what he does for a living.

Did that with my screen name, and got about 100 pages of German classes for spanish speakers and related stuff. Seems to be safe.

The three dots are a different punctuation symbol, although not one that is used in writing English, which is why the cleanup script changes it into a single period.

Multiple dots can sometimes be used correctly in English, for example to denote suspense. However, from my experience managing forums, it is misused a thousand times for each time it is correctly used, and thus I have written the cleanup program to convert multiple periods into a single period.

If you feel compelled to use either if these punctuation marks, you can bypass the cleanup script by editing your original report as you wish. The cleanup script is not invoked during the editing process.

In the past year I estimate that is has saved me hundreds of hours of my personal time by cleaning up 90% of the writing errors made by forum members thus resulting in a much more readable forum for everybody.
