Friday 8-20, Part Two Ð After killing some time to recover and eat at about 9 PM I took a walk over to the Periplo Bar, M.T. de Alvear 554, to check it out. There were maybe 5 ladies there and I guess that they all looked OK. There were a couple that were maybe late 30Õs but were dressed very sexy and had a lot of class. The waiter did not understand a word of English and a lady that was at the next table helped me out then asked me to join her and her friend. Got back last Tuesday, and have just decided to join the human race again. As advertised on this Forum, its not too difficult to pick up something from a trip like this. I don't knkow if I came necessarily blame it on a chica, but I wound up with a pretty good cough. I must admit that my antics of trying to keep up with Mickey Mouse and the Dickhead may have contributed to general exhaustion which compounded my cold.

Having followed this Forum before my 10 day trip, and being envious of Mickey Mouse's exploits of number of chica's per unit time, I asked myself it was possible to sustain a two a day pace. This worked okay for the first weekend, but when I started class on Monday, I had to drop to one a day. Even that was pressing a little hard. Near the end of the week, I was able to try two a day again but not for long. In the end, my average was 1.6/day.

In the end, what I decided is there's a lesson learned here, and some questions to ask you all.

Lesson Learned: The objective is to maximize the pleasure of the experience, and there's a lot more to it than the above measure. For me, being in Buenos Aires is like 3-4 days of being "on" after many MONTHS of being "off".

Great comments! It seems like the advice here is to live between the limits of moderation and stamina. How do we do that? The first sounds like it requires rational behavior (judgement and discipline), and the second sounds like a matter of conditioning and preparation before arrival.

I read Dickhead's suggestion of abstinence and physical conditioning. Abstinence is natural up here, no problem. The second makes sense as well, so I can work on that one too. But what about diet: are there foods that help the "recovery process" or is just plain old "good nutrition" enough?

Maybe it comes down to learning how to have a quality experience while we're in Bs.As., and the meaning changes depending on the duration of the trip or the stage of the journey. For example, when I first arrive, marathon sex sounds pretty good to me. Perhaps with favoritas from past experiences. Then a stage of going out with other mongers for dinner and visiting the various clubs and just chatting with these chicas and perhaps planning a future encounter. There is massage parlor on Tucuman past Cordoba. It is advertised in the magazine that you can find in the hotel lobbies. I went and asked if sex was available. It wasn't so I left which was the second day I visited 1114 Santa Fe.

You can't even compare the two. Costa Rica as a destination for girls was horrible. There were a few cute Colombian girls but for the most part I felt like it was full of degenerate types that were loud, drunk, and annoying. The country as a whole might be beautiful but San Jose is a dump. Costa Rica is for the type that just can't get away on a real vacation for any serious length of time. It's close to the USA which is convenient to get to. That's probably the easiest part of going to San Jose. It's relatively quick and cheap to get to. There isn't much to do during the day except maybe gamble. You do NOT feel safe walking around in San Jose at night. Sort of a seedy feeling.

Buenos Aires is a really cosmopolitan city where you feel safe walking all hours of the night. It is full of life. It's a beautiful city full of restaurants, cheap taxis, beautiful girls, great apartment and hotel options at a good and fair price. The people are friendly and it's easy to get around the city. There are also very different parts of the city. Each neighborhood has it's own flavor and flair. You could be walking down the streets of San Telmo watching the tango and visiting antique stores. Then you can hit Puerto Madero and walk along the man-made docks and have a nice lunch/dinner watching people in row boats on the water or trying your luck at the casino there. Then you could have a coffee at La Biela in Recoleta and stroll the streets and shop at high end stores or just have an ice cream at Freddo, to hitting Palermo and having dinner or drinks in a laid back cool restaurant. You can watch the husle and bustle of daily business life in the Microcentro. Or you can just have a nice picnic alone or with your favorite amiga in one of the many beautiful parks the city is full of.

It's difficult to get an idea of just how much BA has to offer. The shame of it is that many guys just come here for the girls. I talk to some guys that never get out of the Recoleta area. Come for the girls but stay for everything else the city has to offer.

It goes on and on and on. No comparison. I've been all over the world and I have yet to find a city that offers all that Buenos Aires does for the prices here. BA is simply my favorite city in the world. Good luck.

Next month I will travel to BsAs, but my trip will be slightly differerent from the standard mongering trip. This is because I'll travel with my wife who is porteña. You can eat for $3 a meal (a plain one) and rent an apartment for $300/mo. (after finding warrantors), but massages start from $10 for 30 minutes.

BA is cheap but not as cheap as SE Asia.

I generally agree with Saint. I wouldn't be quite as hard on the women. There are some good ones there. However, there are far fewer mongering spots to check out because the city is much smaller. The Delrey Hotel is quite the scene with wall to wall women but they tend to be very business-like.

San Jose is an ugly city (especially the pollution). However, because the country is small you can do day trips to lots of beautiful spots.

Only if you can only get away for a short time (e.g. long weekend) would I recommend San Jose over BA.

Saint, Joe Francis, you're comparing apples to oranges. Costa Rica is a country, BA a city. Yes, when you compare BA to San Jose BA wins on all counts hands down, although I found some great girls in SJ. But Costa Rica is a beautiful country with so many sights not to be found in Argentina, great people and very cool wildlife, beaches, volcano, rainforest, etc. The girls in CR outside of San Jose are every bit as nice and beautiful as BA girls, albeit a bit pricier. I've enjoyed both places but wouldn't compare them, they're just too different experiences. Having said that, strictly on the basis of pay for play you get a lot more bang for your buck in BA.

The very best part of San Jose is being able to take a chica back to the swank Holiday Inn downtown. It does not get any better then that when romancing a sweet young honey. Its a shame you can not take the Holiday Inn from S.J. and put it in downtown Buenos Aires.
