I hate comparing places but let's face it....sometimes we do compare apples to oranges. Just a fact of life. I stand by what I wrote. San Jose sucks. I'd rather stay at home alone then go there again.

I have to second what Saint said about BA. I'm here now and it's such a fantastic city. I sessioned a lot my first week, but have slowed way down since. Mainly because the city itself is as compelling as the women. The architecture, cafe's and rhythm of this place is intoxicating. I'm doing all I can to try and live here part time.
In fact, over the past few days, Saint has been kind enough to let me tag along with him while he hunts for apartments. It's been a good education on what's available here and a great opportunity to get to know a terrific guy. Saint isn't your standard monger. He's an intelligent, sophisticated and well traveled gentleman. His advice comes with a lot of experience.
If you are just looking for a warm body to rub up against, many places will suffice. If you want an experience that will satisfy your libido but also enrich your life, I highly recommend a trip to BA. It is a world class city.

Question: Average Prices for current Internet Ladies at BA?

As you most probably know, next to Quality, an equally important issue is Pricing. That is the famous Q/P ratio.
Preparing an unexpected trip to BA, reading through all your wonderful reports, planning to sample BA diversity in terms of clubs, boliches, cafés and internet girls (freebie maybe if I can find the time and opportunity), my attention got puzzled by a pricing issue.
If many mongers are happy to mention the price they got for a Candy from a club, boliche or cafe, there are rather very few mentions of prices about internet girls. Therefore I inquired around, both within and out the WSG-Forum.
By the way, thanks to Mongers who already answered me. A personal email of appreciation will soon follow.

Now, when you click on “Profiles”, appears a new window where some girls (not all) advertise their prices, which among them look fairly standard. Prices are mentionned in $. There is no precision about what kind of dollars, but as it is about prices in Argentina, everyone would reasonnably expect that their are AR$, wouldn’t he?
Now, in the left hand-side column, click on the obvious link to “Information”. A few lines done, the second intention of the website states: To not profit in any way from visitors.
Now, again in that left-hand-side column, at the full bottom, click on “Utilities”. Then, on the new webpage, scroll fully to the bottom, and click on “FAQ’s” : Useful info when you have in mind a date or travel.
Scroll down and down again, until the third and last chapter “ESCORTS”, and look at the 7th statement saying: “The stated fees are guidelines only and expressed in US dollars.”
This important information, so hidden from our view??? - This looks like quite misleading to me. Fortunately, they say that these prices are guidelines only...
Thus, it looks like that it is up to the monger to bring these prices down to a reasonnable level, isn’t it? - See the attached table, comparing the offered prices and the demanded prices.
So, I shall try to pay these reasonnably expectable prices and will keep you informed with a due report. Should you know possibilities for lower expectable prices, please email me.

My first real mongering destination was Costa Rica, so I'll admit that it's one of my favorites. It is a quite small country, and very different from BA.
Most of the guys who hate SJO are people who went to the Del Rey, ran into the shemales in the Parque Morazon and such. There is a lot more to Costa Rica than a few blocks in the middle of San Jose.
I've had 2 out my 5 best chica experiences in CR. Tied with Argentina, as a matter of fact. Thailand takes third place.
Traffic can be bad in CR, San Jose is an OLD city. I feel a lot safer there, than say, Detroit, Miami or Newark though.
Some of the places (Zona Blue and Idem) are top notch places in my personal experience. Not a 5 star location or room, but very nice girls, very willing to do what you want at a reasonable price ($40-$50 for an hour). You can also find nice girls for $10, $20 and $30 for a short time workout.
Some guys love Panama, some DR, and I'll agree that Argentina is one of (if not THE) best places to stay and have some fun. I personally like to try a little bit of everything, dim sum style. :)

Now, I may not have had the opportunity to visit BA thus far but from what I've been reading on this forum, it almost appears that chicas in BA average out to be about the same as in Bangkok, Saigon and Hanoi. There are less expensive places like Phnom Penh, Surabaya, etc but quality comes into play here.
Don't get me wrong, I have worked, lived and played for more than 20 years in SE Asia and from what I've been reading so far, I'd trade a place with any of you guys anytime.

Don't tell that to an Argentine. Pres. Kirchner got in trouble for saying a lot less than that. Face it, BA is a great town if you have the dollars and the time. For most portenios, life is a hurried scared life. People should be careful when going outside the Recoleta area (well patrolled for tourists).

Ive Mongered pretty much everywhere but Brazil and have no desire to go there.
There are two reasons. Brazil has a high crime rate which Im afraid of and two, from what Ive heard it doesn't have the night life that Buenos Aires does. The restruants, clubs so on. Plus its a world class city, (my favorite) with shopping, site seeing and of course Mongering.

You are making a mistake by not visiting Brazil. The sex scene there is better, in my humble opinion. Judging from your posts the sex scene is very important to you. And forget about the high crime rates. Unless you are living there you are unlikely to experience it unless you are being foolish. I've had my best experiences in BA with girls from Brazil. Anyway, you won't lose any sleep by not visiting Brazil but don't rule it out. You have no desire to go there probably because you haven't been there. Some guys might not like Rio but so far I only know a few that don't particularly like it. They prefer a more upscale environment and BA is great for that.
I have seen girls in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, USA, Cuba, Curacao, UK, Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Czech Republic and the best sex by far was in Brazil.

I second your opinion about Rio being safe. I have been in Rio for about two months now and have travelled in Bus and taxis until even after 2:00 am. In my opinion Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon are as safe as any other comparatively populated urban city of U.S. or for that matter any other city in the world.
I can not compare the sex scene between Rio and BA because I have never been to BA but I can surely vouch that Rio girls know the best possible way on how to please a man. I have visited Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket in the last 6 month period and in my opinion Rio is even better than Thailand.
I will be in BA for a few days. I have plenty of info on pro scene based on this board. But, I am the guy who likes to go out clubbing (make up my lost time in college). There are very few reports on the regular club scene in BA. Maybe most of BA guys are not into that. I will check out a few clubs when I am there. Even though the chance to pick up any regular girls is very small or null, I just enjoy the scene. At the end of night, there are plenty of sure things around anyway.
If anyone has been to following places, please share your experience.
High-End clubs: "Rivera Este" and "El Santo" in Costanera, "Asia de Cuba" and "Opera Bay" in Puerto Madero and "Buenos Aires News","Sahara" in Recoleta.
After work place: "Kilkenny" and "Down Town Matias", both Irish pubs in the Retiro. "Spill cafe" Puerto Madero. "World Sports" and "Buller" (has its own beer) in Recoleta.
A low-end club: “Job”. I heard this is a good place to pick up easy girls. So, I am definitely going to hit this joint. Have no idea where it is. I hope that I can find it.

The BA non-pros in the nice clubs are not too much different than a lot of cities around the world. Sure, it's easier than the USA/Europe but don't just think because you are a foreigner they are going to be creaming in their pants. Just ain't the case from what I see. The same thing in other areas applies to girls here. Your age, your looks, the way you dress, your style, personality, sense of humor, the way you treat them and most importantly your ability to communicate with them (i.e. you need to be able to speak Spanish at least conversationally with them) and be able to hold a conversation.
I haven't been to all of those places you mentioned but I have been to a few of them. In places like Asia de Cuba there are a lot of model types so unless you are picking up girls back home fairly easily it won't be so easy here. Many of these girls are really stylish, cultured and educated. Many of them have family money and been around money. They have been wined and dined by the local playboys with money.
I'd say you'll have an easier time with normal girls in everyday places like restaurants, the mall, working in shops, etc. I didn't even notice the other day but a girl slipped a piece of paper into my jacket pocket with her cellphone number. Her name is Marisol. I'd call her but I don't know if she is cute or not and I don't know where I was when she put it in there. Oh well.
The girls from normal everyday places are for the most part working their asses off for not a lot of money. Many of them have never been to a nice restaurant or given too much special attention. I suggested to one guy done here talking to this girl in the mall that he thought was cute. He did and he went on a few dates with her. Most of them live far outside of the Capital. A good idea is to do something special. Tell her you really want to see her and you will send a car for her to pick her up for a date. This way she doesn't have to take a bus/metro an hour to get into town. Stuff like that really makes them melt. None of the local guys do things like that. (and I suspect most Americans don't either). Just hire a taxi or remise by the hour and it will be cheaper. I have a lot of stuff in my "playbook" that is just one of them.
Just remember that there is a reason these "nice girls" are working their asses off for 500 or 600 pesos a month when they could be making 500 to 600 pesos a night working in the sex industry. Simply put... they don't want to do that to themselves and they would rather work making almost nothing than doing that. What that translates into is that you probably won't get laid the first date. And when you do get laid the sex can't compare to the pros. It is crude to say but it's true. Of course, that won't be the case with every girl but it's a good rule of thumb.
Make yourself stand out and you should do ok. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

RIO will always have a special place in my heart. Whenever I needed help, HELP was there! Ruling out Brazil as a mongering destination is not a wise decision.

I went to Buenos Aires News last year with Jackson. I think the cover charge was $10ar and a beer was 5 ar. It doesn't get hoppin til after midnight since they serve dinner in the dance area and throughout the club. Overall, it was a good club but it seemed like it was a fairly young crowd.
I went to club Pacha last November, and it was out of control. It was a Saturday and the place was packed. 25ar cover charge and around 5ar per drink. The key is to pay xtra and get into the VIP section. It's not cheap at 65ar, but thats where all the beautiful people hangout.
I met some older lady who might have been a fashion designer. Got me into the VIP section as I was close to broke. It was like shangra-la with models and strippers in every corner. I got some chica's phone number but never called since I left BA 2 days later. It was nice to get hammered in the presence of AR's beautiful people. I left the club at 6:30 in the AM and it was still crowded.

Frankly speaking its been my observation that the Brazilan girls are the best. There friendly sexy and really know how to please.
Also there seams to be a lot of Brazilan working girls in B.A. I'd say 30 to 40 percent.
Ive put together a rateing system in the back of my mind which rates the girls from the varrious South American countries. The Brazilan's are by far the best. Then comes the Paraguayan's a not so close second, ( nothing beats a Brazilan in my option, Roberta is a Brazilan). Then we have our Urugauayan's in third place with the Equadoran's following close behind. Then finally we have the Argentines bringing up the rear in last place.
I have not had the experience of sampleing the other countries women, maybe with the exception of a Chiliean I think I did once. One of my goals in life is Columbia which Saint reported on sometime back maybe on another board. Any first time visitors to Buenos Aires or repeat visitors who have not taken advantage of Roxana's City tour should definitely sign up.
I have traveled the world and do not sign up for many tours since the ones I have taken where 80% a waste of time. But Roxana's tour is a must. It doesn't take the entire day. It gives you a great over view of the city and its history.
Most important, Roxana's presentation is second to none. Colorful, humorous and the cultural insight she delivers will have you constantly laughing.

I don't think your figure of 30% to 40% Brasileras working here is anywhere near accurate but there are a lot of girls from Brasil working here. Not even close. In each club there are usually a few girls from Brasil but it's not 3 or 4 out of 10 girls. The webpages do seem to have many girls from Brasil but again I wouldn't say it's that high. Also many from Paraguay and Uruguay too.
I do like Brasil but I'm not in love with it. Brasil is more of a destination you go to have fun, chase girls, etc. Not many guys I know that go to Brasil are going for the beach. Sure they might like the beaches but the majority are going for the sex and only the sex. I have never considered living in Rio and quite honestly I never would live there.

I just had lunch with Mr. Chenko from this board and his wife who are here on vacation. World class people. It was a pleasure meeting both of them. They were impressed by their first trip to BA. His wife agreed with me that Brazil is fun for vacation but she couldn't live there either.
I picked Buenos Aires for some obvious reasons. The cost of living here is low, excellent restaurants, style, it's very safe to live here, very easy to get around the city by walking or if you take the taxis they are cheap. The city is beautiful and so are the people. Sure there is sex available but now that I live here I don't focus on that scene so much and quite honestly can't afford to hobby that much. I'll still go out from time to time but it's more for the sake of just going out relaxing and having fun.
No one needs any reason to like Buenos Aires. There are so many reasons to like it. The only tough thing I think I'll encounter is it's tough to make money here.
I'm living my dream. Go back and read my very first post on Buenos Aires over 2.5 years ago. I told of how I wanted to sell everything and move here. I did that. Usually when I want to do something I end up doing it. I hope things go well here because I can honestly see myself living here for the rest of my life. It's not going to be easy but I knew that going into this. I figure I can always go back to the USA if I have to. At the worst, I'll be totally fluent in Spanish and that will be valuable in the workforce. I really believe in life sometimes you have to take chances and do the things that aren't so easy. Anyway, I feel wonderful to be living here.

Great teams, great stars (Tevez, Ginobili) superb trainers (Bielsa, Magnano) and a depoloyment of fine technical skills. This is the result of a long-term project targeted at improving the performance on Olympic games, which was started in 1992 or so by rugbier Hugo Porta, then Secretary of Sports, after the poor performances on Seoul 1988 and Barcelone 1992. Not bad, considering a 100% increase in the total medal count from 2000 to 2004.
That said, I don't think that the result will change that much the sport policies here, since it requires money. The country will remain strong in soccer, men basketball, women hockey, men volleyball, and rowing/sailing, with a few swimmers and athletes popping up from time to time.
I guess that the best sport time for Argentina was on 1950, the first Panamerican games held in BA, when Argentina led the medal fixture.

The strange thing was that I was watching the basketball game at a packed restaurant and no one was watching the game when the USA was playing Argentina. No one seemed interested. Oh well. In the newspaper the other day the editor had a big article how Argentina will never be a powerhouse because they won't spend the money that it takes to be a contender. After I left you last night I ran into Rugerro on the street. We wound up heading downtown to a bar on Reconquistador. I think the place was called The Blue. It's just down the street from The Kilkenny.
Anyway, we waited until the Gold Medal soccer game came on. I really wanted to see the Argentineans freak out....it didn't happen. They sat calmly watching the game and barely let out a burp when the only goal was scored. Finally, a local informed me that no real soccer fan cares about the Olympics. The World Cup is what matters.
Oh well, I enjoyed seeing yet another side of BA. Last night was great. Palermo Viejo, Belgrano, China Town and Madahos with you, followed by a local bar in Microcentre with Ruggero. And people wonder why I love this city. Thanks again for everything and good luck in my new favorite town.

Knuckhead Returns!
With many thanks to you my friends from this board, IMHO the most wonderful and tight knit community of WSG, I am starting the first installment of the third Knuckhead mini-series chronicling the few fleeting days of freedom in the life of this otherwise chained up monger. Those of you friends who have been following this thread for some time may recall my two previous similar mini-series in the last year. There, I had first shared with you the experiences of my first trip from the perspective of a monger on the leash. Then, a few months later I returned to B.A. this time being only “monitored by proxy”, which allowed a more thorough survey of the scene. This time, I have the honor ;) of being able to report to you as an almost unmonitored monger.
It has now been a few days since my sad return to the sex prison, and to shake the sex prison blues and partly to avert further impatience on the part of DWC, I have decided to finally start posting and hence not to take the lead of the long anticipated “Banned form Black”:).
As a rule, I am fortunate enough to utilize an East coast gateway with a non-stop flight to B.A. as my departure point, and as such have at least a 3-4 hour advantage each way over other mongers requiring a plane change. This has been instrumental in allowing brief, “surgical” mongering trips in the past. The “airfare” for this trip was courtesy of frequent flyer miles from my usual airline, almost my partner in crime, which has been faithfully (albeit unknowingly) flying me through the “friendly skies” to my mongering destination all these years. Courtesy of my partner in the sky, I had arguably the most comfortable seat in the plane this time, complete with rapid hassle free check-in, excellent wine and dine options, and of course, the requisite unquestionably gay flight attendant (as seems to be the rule in most these situations). This guy was superb, never allowing the champagne glass to be more than half empty, and never allowing me to wait for more than a few minutes for any portion of the meal, and when it came time to hit the sack, making sure all the lights were off and that I wasn’t bothered by anything. After a good meal with copious amounts of wine, I flattened the seat as much as possible and went to sleep, only to be woken up about half an hour prior to arrival for a quick coffee and croissant. The plane arrived on time shortly before 9am.
I was the first to get off the plane, and saw a scene I hadn’t seen on my prior trips: There was nobody in line at passport control, and I even had to wait for about a minute for the officers to get settled in and wave me in! Alas, the baggage had not yet begun flowing into the carrousel and I had to kill about 15 minutes there waiting for my suitcase. Once out of the customs area, I realized I was about 20 minutes too early for my scheduled pickup, and thought about sitting on one of the benches. However, I noticed a cute petite girl quietly standing at a corner holding a sign with MY name on it!! It was Anna the remis driver, thoughtful enough to arrive twenty minutes earlier. We walked out together to the parking lot into the fresh cool air, and I noticed the weather was a bit cooler than I had anticipated.
For 45 Pesos, it was a very enjoyable monger friendly ride into town. The conversation was great, and I especially liked the fact that I didn’t have to pretend being there solely to admire the architecture! She was very helpful with her cellular phone in locating my contact at BA Rent for the check-in. 40 minutes after the pick up I was dropped off at my apartment in Recoleta. This was the exact same monger pad I had stayed in a few months earlier.
Daniel the doorman recognized and welcomed me. We then went upstairs to the apartment and saw Sterling V packing up to move to the apartment next door. We had communicated with PM beforehand and I was happy to see a like-minded monger next door. The maid was to arrive shortly to clean up the place, but I took a shower and unpacked before that. I asked Sterling V if he wanted to join Love Ass, Roxana, and me for lunch at Tomo Uno. He accepted, and shortly after the maid’s arrival we were in a Taxi headed for 9 de Julio.
We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes late, and found Luv Ass waiting for us. We were seated at a table and after a few minutes Roxana joined us. The meal (ordered off the fixed price menu) was an excellent Argentine inspired nouvelle cousin type, served in 3 courses including “bottomless” red and white house wines and mineral water with coffee, all for 60 pesos a head. Wow, that kind of a meal costs at the very least 3 times that much (if not more) stateside. The four of us were having so much fun getting to know each other that we ran about an hour late. No trouble, Roxana called the remis driver who was supposed to meet us, and he said he would wait.
Sterling V decided to join me for the city tour, while Luv Ass returned to do some actual work! We started the city tour, covering the areas of La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo, Porto Madera, congresso, and more. Roxana did an excellent job as a guide, and a wonderful time was had by all. Yes. We took our first trips at the same time. As far as prices at Madaho's I believe the absolute minimum they will ask you for is 200 pesos. Last trip I got one girl down to 150 pesos. They all told me they were charging "local" prices to me. The prices that they charge to local Portenos. They have a two tiered pricing system there for the most part. One for Yankees and one for locals who they know make much less. The Black's girls were charging a local minimum of 300 pesos.
I don't pull girls out of those clubs now. Too pricey. However, I do sometimes go with friends that are in town. Sterling V and I went in there the other night. Most of the girls weren't that good but there were some cute girls there. An old friend came over last night that used to work at Madaho's and she said they have lowered their standard for working there.
