I passed by Exedra today. They have metal gates on the doors all chained and padlocked, crates of soda bottles are piled up behind the door so you can't see in, that's the story! Exedra is closed.
Man, I am sorry I wasn't there and drunk when the Canadian guy was the other night! Could have closed Exedra with some fireworks!
Question: where to next?
For sitting outside and just hanging around after dinner and before the clubs I suggest Madelein (across the road to Exedra) or maybe "My House" (the restaurant - not where I live) on Cordoba just before Florida (open 24 hours and a good place for a meal if it's too late to go to Ramiro's) and also with protected outside tables. That's for the mongers not wanting to move too far from the triangle.
Exedra probably won't be closed for too long and when the mongers return so will the girls and the owners won't dare Chase them all away when they the see hoards of wild eyed gringos occupying the place, waving inflated rubbers, chanting chica names and thumping on the tables.
Hey we could even get organized and form a movement! Something like Mongers for Chicas in Exedra - Any suggestions? No, Exon, Motherfuckers for Free Handjobs at Exedra wouldn't do!:)
From what I have seen from other situations like this, when a type of club closes that everyone frequents, people scatter to the four winds. Things are never as they were due to many things and logistics.
But if some of the VERY senior members that are there in BA now can converse and agree on a place Very close and similar to X's that also would want to accept that business that X's has left scattered. Even though I like Alliance, I do not feel it is the answer to replace X's. Maybe I am being to much of a purist and still want the large outside cafe feel to it. But I also feel that a location of a cafe that is far inside the MC area may not be that best either. X's was better for me due to accessablity either from the MC area and the REC area, via taxi of course. But essentially, the location along that main BLVD just outside of MC was really choice! Maybe that cafe accross the street from X's would be good, but isn't it somewhat small? Compared to X's.

I believe that you are talking about La Madelaine which is accross the street from X.
Very few tables and the establishment tends to remove the girls that are obviously working or are very agressive.
Anyway, tonight a few of the girls came by my place and one of the old cats from X actually picked up one of my clients. That is her third client in about 8 days. And she is awful!
I need to have a talk with her soon.
Let's see what happens with X.

The latest that I have heard is that the dead owner's son kept 51% of X for himself.
That's excellent if he actually sold it for 3.5 green ones!
I looked inside today and the cheap mf removed the plasma and the cheap 29 inch tv!
For 3.5 I would expect the guy to throw in the kitchen sink!

They will have to lower their asking price by a hun or so to do business there.
I stole the best girl out of there over a year ago and the second best was caught with 4 keys at the airport!

So yes the ladies will come back (some of them) and the prices will go up and be similar to Orleans. Good thing for Orleans! Level playing field.
Iberia as you say may be similar to X's but it is actually (by map) 11-12 blocks away from X's outside of the mongers main traffic area (IMHO) That's not exactly god news too many guys that wish to walk to most of thier destinations in MicroCenter. We would be supporting the taxi service a lot more with that location. You think the ladies will lower thier prices to work there. I think they would rather work elsewhere that they can get the prices they wish. I did not say deserve, but the prices that they are used to from X's. From many of the posts in the past in here, some do and some do not (YOMV)

Most of the security in Argentina is using low security locks, so more likely he's just protecting his ass, or took them out as his own property.

Maidelaines (sp) is too small and there aint much else. And if you can't find your way from the Triangle area or Exedra-shame on you. Cab, colectivo or hoof it.
From what I can see there is a whole lot of nothing going on renovation wise at Exedra. Not a good sign.

Still feel that since the ladies have been living it up at X's it would be very difficult to go back to making half or 2/3's of what they are used to. I think the opposite would be true that the prices at Iberia would increase. Remember that in essence you are discussing moving the "escort business" that X's had to Iberia. That's just geography nothing more.
