After many years of market making on every exchange in the US I must respond to this supply demand issue of the money paid to the chicas.
First, markets are comprised of depth and liquidity.
BA is a major major city and not the Blue Marlin. I dont care how many WSG guys come down here because there are just so many chicas you cant even make a dent in them. Also the ranks of the unemployed are immense.
There will always be a substantial amount of transactions above and below the mean but most commerce will meet and deal in size at about the same price. It appears to me that maybe 10
percent of the biz is done buy the likes of playwomen and blacks and then you have the other 90 percent solidly dealing at 125 pesos in such immense depth and liquidity that the prices are not going anywhere.
The only way I can see the prices rising will be if all prices go up for everything like housing food etc...hyperinflation of all good and services which is a clear possibility.
There are simply to many sellers of yabba so for now it remains a buyers market...praise the lord.
-
yabba,
Great point. There is just to much pussy around for 1,10,100 or 1000 (guys) to screw up at this stage.
What we all need is a stable economy in Argentina that does not turn into another Brazil type crime scene.
The last thing I want to read on this board is
" who got mugged and where in B.A. last night"

I had posted the below questions but got no reply. Since I leave the U.S. Monday night if anyone could provide some answers, it would be helpful.
A few questions for the BA experts-
What times do the clubs like Playwoman and Black's open?
Do all taxis know where these places are or can someone provide addresses.
What hotels in Recoleta are within walking distance of the above clubs?
How easy is it to find girls in these clubs that are willing to do BBBJ? (If anyone has a girl they would like to suggest-please feel free to e mail me directly)
Thanks for any info.

Asiaman and all other lurkers:
The reason no one is answering your questions is because all these questions have been answered in earlier posts. I provided exact addresses in earlier posts. If guys take the time to provide accurate and important information, the least you can do is take a little time and go back and find the info. We all have busy lives. I know we live in a world of instant gratification but please take the time to go back and do your research.
Good luck.
P.S. Good post Yabba. You are right on target with your post.

Otto:
I won't take revenge against anybody. I just noticed that girls like to talk a lot, and many cab drivers, corrupt officers and solicitors can conspire to rob a visitor in its last day of visit to the country.
I remember a girl in Catto's who told me that in 1993 she went out several times with a Japanese executive. The guy used to spend money like candy, and the girl made it known in the bar. Police found out about the foreigner and arrested him and the girl on his last night in BA, when living the bar to the hotel. Desperate, the guy offered $1000 to forget offenses and let him take his plane next day. I think that he regreted more the hassle than the money lost.
That said, my advice should be more useful to visitors than to my friends.
I would like to find as many nice chicks here as in Buenos Aires. It's incredible how men adopt to new standards when the metabolism calls for female warmth...
Cheers,
Andres

I didn't have such a good time in Buenos Aires, I guess I'm use to Costa Rica. I think the girls in Costa Rica are a bit more friendly and go more out of their way to attract a guy. Not to mention it's a much closer flight than Argentina. I went to the house off French street that yabba spoke about and I prefer the wider selection of the clubs and internet better, if you know how to negotiate you can get 4 hours for 300 pesos or 3 hours for 200 pesos. But I'm use to the girls in Costa Rica I think they try to please you more. To me the long flight was not worth it.
-
Big Blue Man and others. My upcoming trip will be my first one for hobbying. I have never negotiated anything in my life. I and probably many others would appreciate tips on negotiating with women in general and Argentinean and Brazilian women in particular.
The general Argentina section my be a more appropriate place for such a discussion.

Got a few weeks to rest up. END BA

Sorry I can't help you in the bargining area. I went down with a friend that spoke spanish fluently, he was able to bargin the girls down to 3 hours for 200 pesos, I don't believe in bargining because then the girl in my opinion will not show you as good a time. I just pay as long as I think it's reasonable. I have visited Buenos Aires twice and Costa Rica about 6 times, I'm just use to the environment in Costa Rica. To me Costa Rica feels more stable and safe, girls are better looking, try to please you more, you have numerous massage parlors to go to during the days, the coast is closer if you want to take a girl with you for the weekend or go fishing, and not to mention it is alot closer to fly to than Argentina.
Costa Rica is the place to go in my opinion guys, sorry if I burst your bubble, but hey I work hard for my money and rather spend it in Costa Rica.
-
One other point:
Fair is also a function of options. If a chica quotes a price and I'm used to non-pro's of equal or greater attractiveness, it can be difficult for me to justify paying that price. While talking to this one girl at Playwoman I kept thinking,"If this were NYC, you'd be coming home with me..." Or, if you've been quoted 150-200 the majority of the time and some "stunner" suddenly wants 700!!!($200US), how can you NOT tell her to take a walk? It's so far outside of that "normal curve" that it's a losing proposition. Also, as far as the attitude is concerned, how good can that session really be?
After reading many of the posts, I can clearly see that I was quoted less by some of the same women. I'm relatively young (under 30), so that probably helps. I was never quoted more than $100US. And the only time I paid that was for toda la noche with a cute, blonde from Brazil.
I personally don't understand the concept of overpaying. It's as if some guys are trying to fulfill some other need by paying more. Like they're trying to say," Hey, look at me! I got a hot girl and I paid a premium for her, yeah!!!" And there are others who simply laugh and say,"That's nice, pal. But, two days ago I had the same girl: twice as long, for half the price."
It's an interesting game we play.
-
"Overpaying" is a funny subject. I mean, if the difference is between $100 and $150, why haggle? It looks bad, and makes you look classless in the eyes of a trixie. The better a trixie thinks about you, the better service you are going to get, guaranteed. So why spoil it by haggling like an Arab rug merchant, treating her ass like a piece of merchandise, irritating her by trying to drive her price down by fifty bucks? It is foolish. (Of course, come to think of it, her ass is a piece of merchandise, but you all certainly get my point....)
Having gotten some info about the scene in BsAs, I realize there is a whole substratum of punters who will, if the going price is twenty bucks, not be happy unless they can get full service for ten. "Cheap" is what it is, there is no other word for it.
So unless a girl's offer to me this coming week in BsAs is totally outrageous, I will be paying it. Sorry to disappoint you cheapies on the board.
Otto
-
Otto,
If you go back and read one of Jackson's comments from about a month ago, it is about respect. They will respect more if you do bargain. I don't have any experience in bargaining, but I have talked to a couple of friends who do it on a regular basis. Who do vendors prefer as a customer? The person who pays asking price. Who do vendors respect as a customer? The person who negotiates.
I am not going to try and nickle and dime the women the death. However, I will not pay over the going rate that is in effect at the time I go to Argentina. I don't expect to get as good of a price as an experienced hobbyer who has been to BA several times. But as long as the woman and I are both reasonable, everything should work out fine.
-
There is way to much bickering about what should or should not be paid. The whole idea of the "trip" is to have an outstanding time and not worry about the $'s in your pocket. If 1 night you overpay and the next night you get a great deal, it works out in the end.
Mistakes are made and lessons learned, that's what these adventures are all about. The last thing I am worried about is spending money. My only concern is getting in as much quailty time as possible. I am pretty sure that's everyones goal.

"The better a trixie thinks about you, the better service you are going to get, guaranteed."
I couldn't agree with you more. And there tends to be an inverse relationship between how much she thinks of you and the price. A lot of guys fall into the old societal trap of thinking that paying more is the way to get her to think highly of you. PAYING MORE DOES NOT GUARANTEE GREAT SERVICE. Throwing money at a woman will NOT make her think you are God's gift to womankind. After she has her financial needs met by you, she will often go someplace else to have her PERSONAL needs met. I've seen it so many times that I wish there were some way to tattoo it on every guy's forehead.
I made a post a little while back about how the woman views you as either "income" or "playtime". Women compartmentalize like crazy, especially pro's. It's how they get through the day. IF you are skillful, you can exert a great deal of influence over which mental compartment she places you in.
Using money as your "tool" to try to get a woman interested in you is a loser's game. For the record, I make a lot of money. But when it comes to meeting women, I leave the Breitling at home and I never, ever go into detail about what I do for a living. This doesn't mean don't be generous. I'm generous with women the same way I'm generous with other "friends". My generosity NEVER comes with strings attached i.e. give her a gift so she likes you, etc. Otherwise, it's a bribe, not generosity. And, it always comes later after we've established, in ways that I can understand, that we are "friends".
During my time in BsAs I never haggled "like an Arab". I never "beat anyone up on price". Why? To me, the price is a test for interest. If a woman perceives that she's going to have fun with you, it will be reflected in the price. If we spend too much time talking about money, it totally kills the mood for me. If I don't hear the quote I want to hear, I thank them for their time, then move on. It lets me know that I didn't do enough pre-screening for attentiveness, attitude, interest etc. to insure that the session is going to be worth my time let alone my money. I didn't "prime the pump" enough, and now she's too focused on the money and not enough on just having fun with me. If she's not interested (except for the money), then neither am I. NEXT!
(BTW, when I say "quote", I mean her starting point, her initial price right out of the gate. I never heard anything over $100US. And usually that was from women I wasn't overly interest in to begin with.)

drgn
I agree it is more fun and a girl is more likely to show you a great time if
1. she likes you
2. you don't haggle with her in price
you know what I believe as long as I deem it reasonable I will not haggle a girl down, I'll just pay her, why? I want her to show me a good time and I want to have a good time and feel good about myself.

I don't know why you don't feel safe in Costa Rica. I go out till 3 to 4 a.m. down there and feel completely safe. On the other hand in Argentina, people have tried to pick my pocket twice. Not good since I've only been there twice. Last time I was in Argentina, I saw police getting ready with riot gear and tear gas to deal with protestors. Needless to say I spent the day in my hotel that day and the day after.
It is all relevant, there are places in every country and every state in the U.S. that is dangerous to walk around in. I stay in the good areas in Costa Rica and never walk the street drunk and I have a blast and feel completely safe. The girls, to me, look better in Costa Rica and when I go to the bars I don't pay a cover fee or have to buy a minimum of drinks like in Blacks or Playwoman in Argentina. In Costa Rica I can go to a bar scope out the chicas and talk to them, see if they like me, see what their price is and make a dicision whether I want to take them or not.
It's a little tough in Argentina due to the fact what you see on the net and what shows up at your hotel is sometimes 2 different things. Happened to me several times, where I just sent the chica home with taxi money. But very fustrating.
I'll stick to Costa Rica, I would like to go to Panama, I hear it's great but a little costly. I also hear Venezuela is good, so my next trip in another 2 months will be either, Panama, Costa Rica, or Venezuela.
-
Drgn, I agree with what you're saying here and I have a little story that I think illustrates how if the girl likes you and thinks you're fun that the money really becomes secondary: last time I was in Miami I called an Argentinean sweetie named Analis that works in BA but was working in Miami for a few months. I arranged to pick her up and take her for a nice dinner at an Argentinean steak place in town. We stuck up a nice conversation in Spanish, had a nice dinner, glass of wine, held hands at the restaurant and then I told her I wanted to take her to a local hotel and have sex. We STILL hadn't spoken a WORD about money. Then we went to the hotel and had a GREAT TIME (by the way, she asked me if I was "shy" while driving over there, guess we were having a great time, eh? but I told her I preferred not to crack up the car with her mouth on my staff). To make a long story short, even when we had finished having great sex twice she STILL made no mention of money and I just handed her a few c-notes and she said thanks! So yes, I do agree with you Drgn that it's better when you treat things like a date and have a great time and then get down to business, then money isn't so important to the chica. Happy mongering, DownBA
-
All this talk about "over paying" is kind of a moot point, in my opinion. Most of the girls down there didn't seem to intentionally price gouge you. Most asked for what I thought to be a more than fair deal. The one place that I ran across girls as a group asking for too much money was Black's. Most girls there were asking for $200 US for the whole night or 600 pesos. (Granted, some of these chicas were smoking hot but that was too much in my opinion to pay).
Most of the girls at Playwoman were reasonable. I would venture to guess they would accept most reasonable offers for a short term or TLN (toda la noche "all nighter"). There is much that comes into play too. For instance, how much she has already made that day, how greedy she is, what time it is, what you look like, your age, etc. Some guys would like to think that a customer is a customer but that isn't always the case. If these chicas get along with you and you seem to 'click' with her.... I've found that many times money is a secondary factor.
Just as a guy that pays too much is not a dumb ass. A guy that doesn't want to pay a girls asking fee is not a cheap ass either. If you don't think something is fair you can always walk away.

To anybody recently in BsAs:
Suggestions on changing money, where to get the best rates without waiting in line all day?
I have heard the rate at el aeropuerto is only about 3.2 to the dollar, while the city rate is 3.6.
Anybody get any nasty surprises from using their ATM to withdraw pesos?
Otto
-
Otto,
Keep a close eye on the exchange rate, it appears that the peso is taking another drop. Current quote I see is 3.80-3.85.
-
Yes, the peso is in a free fall. Make sure you keep up to date on daily exchange rates if you are down there. It's no big deal if you're not "Playing" that much but it can add up. Here is a recent article from the New York Times this morning:
Blows Keep Coming for an Argentina Long in Crisis
By LARRY ROHTER
BUENOS AIRES, June 25 — The president says it may be impossible to reach any agreement with the International Monetary Fund, the head of the central bank is giving up and going home, and the economy minister embarked tonight on a desperate quest to pry $18 billion from foreign lenders.
For Argentina, an already disastrous economic crisis is suddenly threatening to become even more calamitous.
"Argentina needs a very rapid agreement, but it doesn't depend on us," a dejected President Eduardo Duhalde said in a television appearance here late on Monday. "I hope we don't have to wait until September, because the situation in the region is getting worse every day."
Mr. Duhalde spoke shortly after Mario Blejer, the president of the central bank and a former I.M.F. official with extensive contacts on Wall Street, said he was stepping down. His departure leaves the economy minister, Roberto Lavagna, who departed tonight for three days of meetings with the country's creditors in New York and Washington, as the undisputed chief of the government's economic team.
The resignation of Mr. Blejer, 53, an economist with a doctorate from the University of Chicago, was not a great surprise. His health problems and his desire to rejoin his family, which lives in the United States, were widely known here, and he had earlier told Mr. Duhalde that he would stay in his post only until an agreement could be reached with the fund.
But clashes with Mr. Lavagna, especially over how to end a freeze on bank deposits that has crippled Argentina's banking system since December, hastened Mr. Blejer's decision; he is to leave his post at the end of the week. Investors reacted by pushing the value of the Argentine peso down 2.5 percent today to 3.86 to the dollar; it was pegged at one to the dollar for a decade until early January.
Mr. Blejer is to be succeeded by his deputy, Aldo Pignanelli, a little-known Peronist party loyalist who played a role in recent efforts to keep several banks from collapsing.
In his letter of resignation, Mr. Blejer complained that the central bank's "independence has been weakened repeatedly in recent times" and urged the government not to "submit it to self-interested pressures."
Like the monetary fund's negotiators, who have been meeting with Argentine officials here this month, Mr. Blejer favored a plan to end the banking freeze by forcing bank depositors to accept government bonds in place of their savings. With Mr. Duhalde's approval, however, Mr. Lavagna has instead put in place an optional conversion plan, which was quickly rejected by all but a few depositors.
Though the monetary fund's position "is correct from a macroeconomic point of view, it is not legally possible" to force depositors to accept bonds, Eduardo Amadeo, a spokesman for Mr. Duhalde and a member of the Argentine negotiating team, said in an interview here today. "The court is not going to approve this. There is jurisprudence on this, and it is quite clear."
Another important figure quit the scene today when Raúl Alfonsín, who was president from 1983 to 1989, resigned his Senate seat. Mr. Alfonsín, a member of the Radical Party, had been an ally of Mr. Duhalde, a Peronist, but found himself at odds with other Radical leaders, who argued that it was a mistake for the party to be associated with what they called Mr. Duhalde's disastrous policies.
A team from the monetary fund left Buenos Aires last Friday without saying publicly that any headway had been made toward an agreement that would restore Argentina's credit line with the fund, which was suspended in December. On Monday, David de Ferranti, vice president of the World Bank for Latin America, said that any agreement between Argentina and its creditors still requires "quite a lot of time to work out."
"The fund had a mission to Argentina that left a day or so ago without progress," Mr. De Ferranti told reporters at a meeting in the Netherlands. "It's slow going. I wish it were possible to say that there was a solution that would be soon to occur. That is not obvious yet."
Argentine officials argue, on the other hand, that they have done many of the things the fund has demanded, often over strong internal opposition. They cite a pact to impose fiscal restraint on provincial governors and the revocation of bankruptcy and "economic subversion" laws that were said to discriminate against foreigners. The main impediment to a deal now, they say, is more psychological than substantive.
"The fund doesn't believe us," Mr. Amadeo said. "They don't trust us. They have no confidence in us, given the history of the Argentine political class, and that has made the negotiations long and difficult."
An even more basic problem, he said, is that "if the fund continues to believe that we are cheating them, there is no solution and we're stuck in a Catch-22." He added, " There has to be a minimum of good will and belief that we are no longer deceiving anyone."
In recent declarations, Mr. Duhalde and other officials have indicated that they see July 15 as something of a deadline for the talks. Argentina has already defaulted on most of its foreign debt, but payments of more than $1 billion still come due that day, and the government has implied that if it has no deal by then with the fund, it will have no choice but to default on those payments, too.
Some analysts here argue that the apparent hardening of Argentina's position stems from the recent market turbulence in neighboring Brazil and Uruguay, which is also showing signs of affecting Chile and Mexico. Argentine officials say the crisis is now regional, which increases their leverage in negotiations by putting pressure on lenders and foreign governments to prevent the situation from worsening.
"The group in power thinks that they can blackmail the I.M.F. and the United States government through the threat of contagion in Brazil," said Carlos Escudé, a former foreign ministry official who has written several books on Argentine foreign policy. "But they are wrong to think they can wield that club," Mr. Escudé said, because the monetary fund is "more likely to come to Brazil's rescue" and let Argentina sink.
With no accord to restart the economy, the pressure on the Argentine currency is mounting. Some currency exchange offices were charging four pesos for a dollar today, and Carlos Saúl Menem, the former president who is running for the office again, warned that rate could easily slide to seven to the dollar by the end of the year.
The government has responded by intervening in the market to support the peso, a move most economists here have criticized as a doomed and dangerous use of dwindling foreign reserves. Since January, Argentina's reserves have dropped from $13 billion to less than $9.8 billion, with the government now spending up to $50 million a day to stave off a run on the peso.
The way things are going, Argentina will soon fall below the minimum level of $9 billion in foreign reserves required under its existing agreements with the monetary fund. But government officials say that letting the peso float without intervention, as the monetary fund has advocated, would produce a politically disastrous burst of hyperinflation.
"It is important to obtain maximum stability" for the peso, Mr. Lavagna said Monday in remarks to a visiting Brazilian business group. "We have worked by using intervention to avoid an excessive movement," keeping the peso's decline fairly slow, he said.

I am considering two package tour trips: one exclusively to Rio, and one that does both BA and Rio. I have been to Rio, and consider it paradise. Can someone give me some idea how BA compares to Rio? If I do decide to go to BA as well, can someone vector me to the right part of town, the right clubs? Hotel in BA would be Bristol; any information about its girl-friendliness? Thanks
-
Roberto:
This question has come up before on this forum. I'm pasting part of the answer I had given to someone else a few days ago on the Mar Del Plata section:
---
"This year alone I've made six trips down to BA on business. I've also traveled to both Rio and Sao Paulo very frequently on business for the last three years. Even though I travel on business, I still manage to hook up with girls almost every day in both countries.
I'd agree with your impression that girls in Argentina are more pro-oriented than Brazilian girls. Yes, you can find a GFE in Argentina, but it is more readily available in Brazil. And while a BBBJ (which I strongly prefer) is not standard practice in Argentina, it is readily available in Brazil.
Because I've been to both countries so much, I've also gone to regular non-pro discos, clubs, and bars. And in my experience, the friendliness and chance of scoring with non-pro girls has been much higher in Brazil."
---
Let me add to this answer that I had given before, that I speak fluent Spanish but little Portuguese, so in theory I should feel more at home in Argentina, but my preference is still for Brazil. I base this preference on the fact that I find Brazilian women on average to simply enjoy lovemaking more than the average Argentine woman. The experience that I've had with most Brazilian women is that they want to screw my brains out. But on average, I've found most Argentine women to be much more business-like.
Others have mentioned the safety risks in Brazil. I've been to Rio about 10 times and to Sao Paulo about 6 times and I've never been robbed, but I am extra careful because of bad experiences that I've had travelling in other countries. The only bad experience that I've had in Brazil in nearly getting into a fist-fight with a rude taxi driver. In BA I've never been robbed either.
I think both Argentina and Brazil are great, but I prefer Brazil. If I was paying for my ticket (or using my frequent flyer miles) I'd go to Brazil over Argentina. But if you can afford it, definitely try both as they are a thousand times better than the scene in the US.

Dear Yabba,
Thanxxx for all the details u provided about ur trip. I am deciding whether or not to take the long, long trip for Van, Canada all the way down or not. I've been to Thailand twice and i know u can't get much closer to heaven than going from an Argentinian trip to a Thailand.....I've got two words for u........LUCKY BASTARD!!!!...............getting back 2 the point. I just wanted to give thanxxx for the detailed reports u gave...it was almost like we were riding shotgun right along with u on the trip...it was great for me especially, because it finally sold me on the trip.......take care
-
otto...read your first days report on the french street place...seems to have vaporized but it was good to see you agreed...3 nice ones...and flexxx thanks for the mention...just do the same when your in the field...umgman...this report is for you because, like you, I just had to give it a whirl...
Last tango in BA...Well, it was my last night and according to plan I had my favorite lined up from the gfe J n B PUB. She sat down beside me and who sits next to me??...last nights favorite as well...I AM SURROUNDED...these young ladies proceed to tell me how they both promise to share my loins buy pointing from their lips to my yabba and saying beso...or kiss...I used my basic spanish and said to both of them mismo tiempo?...which means... at the same time??...oh yes they nodded. They both just kept rubbing my thighs and signaling me how the were going to make me suffer and off we were...200 pesos total for both and I was rock hard from the moment we left the place till I was done. First I made sure we had a little quality cuddling time as I lay on my back with a chica in each arm as they lay beside me holding my yabba as I blessed each one with gfe kisses...and then they both went down to my promissed land and took turns working high and low changing each time I said cambio...
Then the blonde mounted up as I lay on my back with my left hand holding her breast as my right wraped around the back of the other as she lay on her side next to me as I breast fed with relish and kissed as well...
Then a quick condom change and I begun to finish myself off buy riding the other babe as she lay on her back. Only this time I was laying on this chica diagonally as I breast fed on the other chica when I finished...wow

Hola,
Stumbled on to the following site, I don't think it has been posted in the new forum. If it has, sorry for the redundancy.
www.area-vip.com.ar
What interested me about this site, is in the information section they claim "On this web site we don´t publish any photographs that don´t belong to the girls in the ads."
-
Yabba,
I knew you'd cave in! The high/low tongue bath is a memory you treasure right up there with the kids' graduations! You know, its funny. I never would have expected it, but I have been having just as much sex since I came back to the states as I did in BA. Unfortunately, it has been with myself. Oh well.
By the way, Yabba. How do we get our own sections like Otto? I guess we have to actually make a trip to BA and post a bunch of reports, huh? Damn, I'm jealous.
Seriously wishing I was at Blacks right now,

Starfe,
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad that you and all others that have been to Buenos Aires have had such a great time. It's really almost a magical place to me. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about it.
I'm fairly confident we will hook up in BA in the future. I'm glad I had the good fortune to meet you. I've been really lucky over the years and have made some great friends from these type of message boards. (Some of them have been life long friends). Cheers all!
P.S. Yes, Area-Vip does airbrush their photos but they are still some of the hottest girls in BA bar none. Yes, the pictures on the other sites like Platynum and others might not be "air brushed" but I saw several girls from the internet sites and all looked better on the internet sites. I've said it before and I'll say it again.... these girls pick the very best pictures to go on the site (perfect setting, perfect lighting, their 'best side', etc.). I'm not complaining though...these chicas are hot, hot hot.
Good luck all.

I have long read (and salivated over) the many posts describing trips to BA. I've looked over the various escort websites and wished I could be calling some of those phone numbers myself. Well, I shall be deprived no longer! While moving some old WP5.1 files into my laptop, I noticed one titled "Delta FF." I opened it up to discover I had 55,800 Delta miles I had somehow forgotten about. A call revealed that 50,000 of those miles would get me to BA and back. Now, I can sample these BA wonders for myself! Because I will use FF miles, airline price fluxuations based on season are no consideration. Within the range of September to December or so (or even later), what is the consensus as to the best time in terms of weather and women to visit BA? I ask with the understanding that too long a wait could run the risk of seeing the present extremely favorable economic conditions for Americans take a turn for the worse for us and a turn for the better for the Argentines. Because my trip will be "free," I was thinking about four or five days; that's about all my single practicioner law practice could stand. I was also thinking about the Art Suites since it seems to be inexpensive and boasts better beds than the otherwise fabled Etiole. I'm really looking forward to this trip and welcome any and all suggestions and counsel from seasoned BA visitors. Thanks a lot!

Richard:
Try to avoid the late December season. Many of the girls return to their home countries or provincies to celebrate Christmas. Many of these girls won't come back to BA until Jan 6th.
I remember how empty were the places on the two last Dec. 24th nights. It's sad to dream about the girls for months and find out later that many of them are gone.
Anyway, it would be difficult to find redeemed mileages' seats for December nowadays. I was told tat you have to book before May to get a "free" December ticket.
For sure, the economic climate won't improve dramatically in the short term, so don't worry much about changing conditions. Besides, we Argentinians are used to freeze investment decisions when a new presidential election is called, only to resume them (if resumed) after the votes are casted. Next is forecasted for March.
Hope this helps,
Andres

Richard,
I agree with Andres about not going in December but I've always gone in September and October and since this is the beginning of their Spring in BA it's a really awesome time of the year temperature wise, although I've noticed that early to mid September sometimes brings a fair bit of rain but aside from the rain, the temperatures are beautiful and you really don't need any heavy clothing around this time of year there. As for where to stay, I personally love this place in Belgrano called Golf Tower Hotel on la Pampa on the corner of Cazadores. It's a short cab ride to la Recoletta where all the action is (maybe 8 minutes)and the Hotel is an aparthotel. Also, right down the street within 5 minutes by foot is a great little neighborhood place called "Estilo Nuevo Boliche" where there's a strip show, pool table and natually every one of the young honey's can be yours for a song, and there were about 15 to chose from. It's like hanging out at your local pool parlor/bar only every girl is on the program. They have rooms right there on the premises so you don't have to go anywhere. The girls were very friendly and acommodating. Also, all of the girls on the websites you've been checking out will come to you there regardless of where they live and many of them live right there in Belgrano. Belgrano has parks, golf courses, great shopping on Avenida Cabildo, great restaurants and cafes just like everywhere in BA, great Parilladas (mixed beef grills) just like everywhere in BA and last but not least, this neighborhood is very much off the beaten path and quiet. This hotel that I mentioned can probably give you a room for well under $100 per night and every room has a separate living room and kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook, utensils, pans, pots, etc. The receptionists are usually just like sweet nectarines, most of them are very sexy and friendly and bi-lingual if you don't speak Spanish. And they serve free continental breakfast and will also make you fried eggs if you ask nicely. So that's my recomendation, having stayed there twice now. Also, if you don't mind spending a little more, check out Hotel Cristoforo Colon in Palermo which is a more upscale aparthotel a few blocks from Avenida Santa Fe and very close to Avenida Libertador and they have very reasonably priced aparthotel rooms too.
You've made a very fine decision to go to BA, it's one you'll never regret and it will give you warm memories for the rest of your life, I guarantee you! Happy mongering in BA, DownBA

I am off to BA in September. I regard the Latina as one of God's finest creations, having visited many Latin countries, and I speak a little Spanish. However, maybe one of the Latin users can advise me on language. If you are dealing with a semi-pro, you want to be polite and not too direct, certainly not a vulgar oaf. How do you indicate in very polite Spanish that you want to discuss the possibility of moving things toward the bedroom?
-
Roberto,
I don't think you have to be too worried about being too direct with a "semi-pro" as you put it, especially in BA since the pros and semi-pros are fairly direct themselves and will leave no doubt that they're interested in exchanging a nice time in la cama for some crisp US C-notes or some crisp pesos. But if you want to have some phrases ready you could try, "Me gustaria pasar un buen tiempo con vos en una habitacion," as in "I'd like to have a nice time with you in a room" or you could substitute the words "albergue transitorio" for "una habitacion" which will unmistakably tell the nice chica you want to go to a short stay motel with her (which BA has the best of in the world I think, all impeccably clean with mirrored ceilings, porno on the tv and nice, clean rooms with fresh towels, fresh sheets and a dimmer switch). Or you could say "Cuanto me sale una salida con vos", which is a little more direct and using the local term salida, which is how the local "acompanantes" say date and here you'd be asking "How much for a date with you?" Again, I wouldn't worry too much about being too direct or not direct enough since these girls are playing the same game you are only they're soooooooo sexy and acommodating. Just get the heck down there as soon as you can and start feasting your eyes and other body parts on the sexiest group of women on the planet!!! Buen provecho amigo!! DownBA

I can tell you guys that I'll be in Buenos Aires for the better part of December and I can promise you that I will NOT be alone for even one day. Yes, I'm sure some girls do go "home" for the holidays but BA is a major city. Keep in mind many of the girls live in BA and are from BA.
I still keep in contact with a few girls down there and they have indicated they will be in town for the holidays. They also indicated times were tough and more girls will probably work this holiday season. I'm not worried. I'm certainly NO expert on BA. I'm still a rookie but I would be willing to bet that instead of there being 100/100 excellent choices there will be 70-80/ 100. I can live with that.
Have fun all that are headed down.

DownBA,
Could you provide the address or directions to the local place you talked about.....Estilo Nuevo Boliche?
Thanks,

Fat Bastard,
Ask any cab driver to take you to the corner of la Pampa and Cazadores in Belgrano, la Pampa crosses Avenida Libertador so that's a no brainer to any cabbie, when you get to la Pampa you'd turn in the direction of the river, (if you're coming from Palermo toward Belgrano you'd be making a right turn onto La Pampa) you'd pass Cazadores (there will be a park on your right hand side with a small river in it, not Rio de La Plata) and Estilo Nuevo Boliche will be on the left hand side just before an intersection which I think is Avenida San Martin, but I can't swear to this part. Most of the cabbies know where this place is too so you shouldn't have too hard a time finding it. This place starts cooking on the early side, about 9 PM is ok and they do some entertaining lesbianism shows on stage with the girls really eating each other out, also they have male volunteers come on stage and dance with the strippers while they strip the volunteer. I think this is definitely worth trying, I went two nights in a row and had a great time with a really nice 21 year old named Silvana, great body with petite breasts but great ass and she went down on me while we showered together and the rest was really great, one of the best fucks I ever had in BA. Hope you check it out your next time there. DownBA

DownBA.
Does the Golf Tower permit guests?
-
Just arrived in BA from MIA.
Nuevo Estilo is located in Figueroa Alcorta Av. and La Pampa, a few blocks from the city airport (Aeroparque). Any taxi driver should know the intersection, and Nuevo Estilo is located 50 meters from it.
If the cab driver doesn't know Nuevo Estilo, he should know Selquet, a big bar located right in the corner of La Pampa and Figueroa Alcorta.
Hope this helps,
Andres
