Great post and one which I shall reread before my December BA visit.
I agree completely with the comments from the posters below regarding the "rules of engagement" so I will not repeat those. I just wanted to ask about the possibility of a Spanish language area…. I don't mean a 101 Spanish language forum, nor indeed about the various "to be" verbs, I mean an area which one might refer to for the kinds of questions / statements being asked by clsncntr.
I'm still learning Spanish and although progressing well, I would find it difficult to ask my teacher certain things….. An area dedicated or indeed containing pre-prepared scripts / sentences would be ideal.
Your thoughts gentlemen?

Andres is a real Argentinian and might want to correct me a bit, but I guarantee that my translations will be perfectly understood by the local Argentinians:

You are right about the lines.
The one before the last one should be "En ese caso, no me interesa".
I usually use the line:
"El viernes pasado pagué $XXX aquí y el jueves pagué $YYY a una chica en Affaire"
(Last Friday I paid $XXX [to a girl] here and last Thursday I paid $YYY to a girl in Affaire)
With such, you are saying that:
- You are not a newcomer to the BA night.
- You know the ropes.
- You know alternative places where to find what you want if she stucks in her position.
I recommend that you never mention the name of other girls. Since these girls know everything about one another, the may start challenging you about the truth of your statements. So when one of them asks you "Quien era?" (Who was [the girl who charged you $XXX]?), just say: 'Soy muy malo para los nombres" (I'm very bad for recalling names) and "Ella no está acá hoy" (She's not here tonight).

Hey Moondog. You probably know those girls better than anyone. I can't speak for the majority of the girls there but the two that I saw from that site (including the one you referred me to) was happy with 200 pesos for a short time session. I didn't want to negotiate and offered 200 pesos on the phone. My Spanish isn't the greatest but I'd say somewhat intermediate.
Both girls didn't hesitate or even try to negotiate 200 pesos. This was just last month in September 2002. (The rate was 3.55 - 3.60 at that time).

I guess I'm more into the longer and more refined sessions than just a quick in and out. For that I can undertand Jackson's policy, but for a longer time including dinner and spending the night with you, and for making you feel like she is your girl friend and you are a king, then I don't mind paying more.
These girls are beautiful, and personally I love to be with them and treat them nice.
To each his own, but a little extra will go a long way towards putting a smile on her face and yours.

the same prices jackson and saint quote should work for your plan. during my august trip i twice had an internet girl come to my hotel, for ar$200 quoted for 2 hrs. on the phone i asked "how about i take you to dinner, before our hotel time (eg. 2hrs), off the clock (not part of the 2 hrs)?" each time the girl said yes.
by the end of our dinner (actually much earlier) we were well into gfe territory, and the subsequent 2 hrs at the hotel became an all nighter, including morning action. for the same ar$200.
thus, my experience is you don't have to pay more than the ar$150-200 to get an all nighter, you just have to provide them with a bfe and they might volunteer for one.
now, if the girl has a child at home, or other responsibilities, who knows. but one of these two times the girl had a morning photo shoot appointment that she delayed due to my time.

Moondog. You are TOTALLY right about longer term sessions. My quoted prices were for no more than 2-3 hours. Most of the club girls did all night for 300 pesos but I guess last trip I wasn't really into the all night/all day thing. Many girls offered to stay longer but I told them they could leave at around 6 AM to 7 AM in the morning after our "fiesta".
My trip in May I did a ton of long extended all night/all day dates. I paid many MUCH more than they asked. Yeah, it can be chalked up to not knowing any better but I wouldn't classify it in that category. Many I paid more than they asked in the morning on my own free will. I don't regret it and it made me feel good to do so. The great thing with the chicas is you can walk away. (No different than dealing with your attorney, doctor, or other "professional"). Yeah, sometimes I don't like paying my attorney $300 US per hour but you know what??? He's damn good at what he does and I look at many of these chicas in the same way.
We all can agree to disagree on pricing and many other things when it comes to the "hobby". I don't think paying more than 200, 300, 400 pesos makes you a sucker. Like I've always said before....pay what you think is fair. Don't waste money but don't be too overly concerned about it either. The difference between 250 pesos and 200 pesos is only about $13 US. That $13 US isn't gonna make or break any of us. JMHO.

Hello All,
I´m on the ground in BA, at an internet cafe Cine ma on Ave Santa Fe, and having the time of my life so far. If I make a few typos, it´s because I am struggling a little with the spanish keyboard. Anyway, I have detailed reports written, but I can´t get any of the CD drives here to read my disc, so I´ll have to wing it.
So far, I have had great sessions with four of my top internet girls, with few complaints. The going rate for all of them has been 100p per hour, with all of them very willing to stay longer. I´m going to keep this relatively short, as my taxi driver is coming back to pick me up in less than an hour.
