Obviously it depends on your tastes. I've been to all 3 in the last year, and I know what my favorite is.

Brazil has some very beautiful girls, but the rip off factor (sometimes the girls, but usually in the street / beach) is very high, primarily in Rio. When you factor in the hassle to get a visa (now mostly giving only 90 day visas) and the strong real it's not a big bargain.

Sao Paolo has some super beautiful girls, but the price can be dear. There are decent options in massage places where FS is included in the price. I actually got the nicest looking chica I've ever been with for about $50 for an hour.

BA also has a lot of inflation, although the Peso vs Dollar rate is stable. The food is excellent, transportation options cheap and plentiful, good selection of affordable chicas and is very monger friendly. You can still find a decent chica for 50 or 60 pesos for an hour in a privado, although not a stunner.

I don't know what kind of girls you are into, but clubs like Madaho, Black etc are for rich gringos who are into typical barbie girls. If like me, you are into more natural looking and behaving ladies I would try several other clubs until you find your type, or look through the hundreds upon hundreds of chicks on the net.

I know what it is like to be stuck somewhere you really don't like, but I am sure you have misjudged Argentina badly. Where else can you find some gorgeous girl next door type, and fuck her however you like for 100 pesos, and she will have a great attitude and thank you for it afterwards. But Argentinians are not hard, I find them some of the kindest, most fun, outgoing people I have ever met compared to the uptight, cynical and mercenary societies we live in.

I think it is totally great that they play older music, maybe because their DJs are free to play whatever they want, and are not forced to play the latest production line of commercial crap like in the UK, Europe or USA! There are some good bands around today, but most people agree that the music scene of 2005 is total shite (unless you are a 12 year old girl) compared to the 1980s, 1970s or 1960s, when fabulous songs only made it to no 10 because the competion was so fierce. Even my 10 year old nieces and nephews liten to Madonna reworking Abba and endless remixes of 80s tracks, why, because modern music is totally dead and lacking any new ideas! Duran Duran, for all their unfortunate new romantic image, had more talent in their combined buttholes than say Franz Ferdinand or Coldpay, who by the way are not bad! So long live hearing a good mix of music.

I have been to BA 4 times over the past 3 years, and will be heading back in February or March next year. I have travelled around much of the world, and it is my favourite city and Argentina my favourite country by far.

Why are you so rude? The last couple posts I've read here in various topic areas with you replying to various people I've agreed with you 100% in sentiment, but the way in which you post that view is frankly quite rude.

For example your replies to cousinit getting a bit defensive, and here - I agree new board visitors ought to re-read various existing areas, and for sure adding more clutter to a trip report thread isn't the best section. Yet deserved as an admonition is, the way you do it just makes a fairly bad impression.

As a new visitor here as well, while I totally agree with the basic sentiment of why you replied - all the rudeness does is lower your stature and credibility as a reasonable person for the future. Newbs, including me, make mistakes. To be kicked like a puppy for it isn't the best way to demonstrate that you know better.
