Keep up the great work. Your posts are the funniest, most entertaining, and informative I have read on this board (and I've been getting my info from wsg for every country I visit for the last 6 years). I'm going to be in BA at the end of December. I would love to hang out with you guys if any of you will be there then. I haven't booked my hotel yet, but will probably follow Yabba's advice and book a junior suite. I speak passable Spanish, so I have never had a problem on my own, but it is more fun with a partner. I usually travel with my brother on this type of excursion, but he won't be able to go in December.
I have been at this game a long time, and I agree with what you said in an earlier post. Sometimes I'm in the mood for filet mignon, and have no problem paying the higher price for the experience.
Couple of questions, have you or the other two "innocent tourists" tried Yael or Lizzy from Platynum? I thought I would book a date with each of them, and would like a review. Also, I'm an amateur photographer and was wondering, will any of the girls from the clubs or sites allow you to take their photos? Wouldn't have to be nude, but it would be a nice bonus for the experience. I spend a lot of time with the chicas in Mexico, and some of them have allowed me to take their pictures in various states of undress, but I have to promise not to post online.

PS Can't believe it, I just read one of your earlier posts, I guess I should have caught it from the name, but we're from the same neck of the woods, I'm in a small town in northern Ohio, but I'm in the motor city frequently on business. I always fly from metro, any airlines advice? Already bought my tickets for December, but I'm contemplating another trip.
Asked a few locals where they go for the chicas and they named 2 bars close to art suites...one was like 20 yards close...called the J and B Pub...Yes, they get away with using the scotchs name brand logo as their door sign. The place has obviously been there for ever which is cool and the 6 regular girls are nothing special. But for a quick pop at 100 plus the traditional 15 peso chica drink it does the trick. These women will go till you cried uncle. I must point out that for a 100 150 pesos you can get really great chicas on platynum. So one would ask why this place interests me. First, when you have procuitto ham everyday a little boiled ham would be nice. Second, the women look tawdry and dress that way. Third, this place pours a big drink and you guessed it, the speciality of the house is a wide assortment of scotches. Finding places like this are fun for me...
Umgman and Maddur showed up at J n B last night to join me for
a few pops at this seedy joint. They passed on the chicas but one must remember that one mans chicken is another mans steak.
As for OTTOs what to do...here is the way I use my spare time...seeking out local dishes...food...that I do not recognize and trying them...there are alot of local corn or lentill bean based thick soups or stews chock full of ham and chicken that are excellent...many curry based dishes as well. Also, these Argentine people take their empenadas very seriously and debate exists between the locals as to who make the best. 20 kinds of these....Best entertainment is Tango...There are many places even the locals go to watch while having coffee or dinner.
another tidbit...I believe there are more cafes here then any place on earth...these people love there coffee. In addition, I have never seen so many smokers.
OttoGraham --- Before I answer your question i'd like to Add my two cents worth about Buenos Aires --- Its the most unbelieveable place Ive ever been for single guy's traveling --- Its sorta like your first trip to Disneyland when you were a little kid, you could not believe what you were seeing -- Ive read all the posts our brothers have posted and been to everyone of the clubs including Hippopotamus and Newport,(my favorite)which not much has been talked about --- The reason I state this is Black and Playwoman are strickly professionals as are all the website girls, but the above clubs you will find the semi pros & amatures, girls that aren't in the business but need a little extra money and sum fun at the same time --- Also the best I found was free, meeting them at shoping malls or side walk cafe's --- Since being an American they are immediately attracted to you ---
All that being said and too answer your question --- Try the Tango Dinner Show, and bring your date, she will love you for it --- It was one of the best experiences I had in Buenos Aires --- Its cost is 60 pesos per person, about 40 US dollars for the two of you and as good a steak dinner as you'll fine including free transportion --- Plus a show that would rival anything that Las Vegas has to offer and all the wine you can drink --- Also you might try the River Boat Casino and again bring your date for most of the girls have never been there --- Have a good trip --- EXON

I justed wanted to add a little something. I´m still here in BA and have had some serious fun at the clubs in Recoleta. The other night I was approached by a very attractive twosome (women I would be interested in stateside) who had heard from the bartender that I was primarily interested "group" activity. We went to one of the local short time hotels for a great, fun filled, non-stop, two hour threesome. The next night we out to a movie at the mall, grabbed a few drinks, went to a local night club for some serious dancing and then onto the hotel for some serious all night activity. The interesting part was this time they made it clear that they were MORE than just work partners. There was also some competition between them to see who was the "lead sled dog". So, the next five hours were a whirlwind of bodies, digits, and orifices. We alternated between sex and sleep until about 8am, at which point we were all thoroughly drained, literally and figuratively. Total cost: 300 pesos plus drinks, taxis, entrance fees, etc. We were all to together, more less on a "date" for about 12 hours. They said it was more of a day off or change of pace and it really had the feel of a bunch of friends hanging out rather than a business arrangement. And they want to get together on Sunday for another day out exploring BsAs.
I mention this because my belief is, yes it is VERY easy to pay $100 US, $200 US or more for an hour with a hot woman here. Christ, I can choose to spend money like water and hardly notice. But, you will ALWAYS get the most mileage from situations where, for the woman, money is a BONUS, rather than the focus your time together. And EVERY disappointing experience I´ve ever had involved me thinking about how HOT she is and saying the money doesn´t matter. Now, I ignore my own lust, and focus completely on how she´s responding verbally and non-verbally to me.
One other note: hanging out with these two at the mall, the night clubs, etc. made it very clear that this place is exactly like a New York, LA or Miami. If you have your "shit wired tight" so to speak, it is VERY possible to score non-pro action. Knowing the language helps. My girls actually started getting concerned because I was getting too much attention from non-pros at the night club and they were very aware that they could be replaced.

Where exactly is the Tango show? It has always improved the experience for me when it feels like a real date. Also, any other suggestions for good dates?

Another good option is "Senor Tango". I don't have a website for it but everyone in BA knows about it. I've been to both of them and they are both quite good, although the food at Senor Tango is not stellar, so I suggest you pay a little more to upgrade your meal and wine at Senor Tango.
El Viejo Almacen is also a BA institution, but it seems to have declined in the last few years and at the suggestion of locals I've opted for the two above instead
These are fun shows but after you've been there once, you've pretty much covered it, so for repeat dates I'd suggest the floating casino as was mentioned in an earlier post
Alanblus --- Read Drgn's post just under your's --- He has very good advice --- There's no way anyone can do them all, its such a sexual smorgasbord down there it will make you dizzy --- Relax and just hang out rather than chase them and let them come to you --- If you see something you really like in a club, get her phone number and call her during the day --- It will more than likely cost you half of what she's asking in the club ---- I found that the women in Buenos Aires were just as interested in me, if not more, simply because I was an American, as I was in them --- It doesn't thke any Brain's to Spend Money --- In answer to your qusetion --- There are several Tango shows in town --- The best is the traditional Tango dinner show --- It's held in a building constructed as a dinner theater with its only purpose to be a dinner theater for Tango --- Go to the desk clerk in your hotel and ask them to make a reservation for you and your "Date" --- The theater company has a whole fleet of van's that will come to your hotel and pick you up, transportion is included in the price,and return you after the show --- As I remmember it starts about 8:00 PM and returns you home sometime after 12:00 midnight --- The meal was excellent with all the wine you could drink and a show that lasted about 2.5 hours, that rival's anything Ive ever seen in Las Vegas or New Youk --- The price last fall was 60 pesos per person, 120 per couple, about $40 to $50 dollars for the two of you --- Its truly a must see while your in Buenos Aires --- If you do go, please post your impression's about the experince --- Thanks Exon -- P.S --- It was Senior Tango that I saw
I would like to thank you fine gentlemen for posting up all the great info for us newbies..I've been to Dominican Repub (Puerto Plata, Sosua..check out my posts) this past April and I'm looking to try out B.A. (Recoleta area) maybe around Mid November. The "espanol" is terrible (barely High School level) but I'm learning as mush as I can...got some tapes and a book.
I'm looking to link up with any fellow monger(s) during that time.
I would luv to try and read all the posts here to see who's gonna be there in Nov but my eyes are starting to get buggy.

I've got a few little suggestions for you as for what you can do on a date with one of the many luscious Argentinean honeys you'll find in BA: go to a Boca Jr. or River Plate or Racing soccer match. Argentinean soccer is played most of the year with just a short time off in between "Apertura" season and "Clausura" season in their winter. Tickets are relatively inexpensive and relatively available and as long as you wear the home team's jersey you should blend in just fine and have no problems there.
Next, I recommend that if you like music that you either get some tickets to see any musical event at "Teatro Colon" which is BA's world-class concert hall who many say have some of the best acoustics in the world. This would be a real bonus to any chica who likes classical music and who has good taste, of which there are many girls like that in BA.
Restaurant wise, try taking a luncheon date to a famous place called "Cafe Tortoni" near Congreso. The place is one of the most famous restaurants in all of Argentina and dates back to the 1800's and has billiards tables in the back and awesome decor with checkered marble floors. It's in all the guide books and isn't terribly expensive. Have a sandwich de jamon crudo there and a few beers and watch the rich and famous stroll in and out of there and you'll have a nice time with your date.
Lastly, if you like modern electric music, Argentina has an absolutely priceless ska band know as "La Mosca" who are known throughout Argentina and if you could score two tickets to a "La Mosca" concert you'd be a star with almost any young lady and I venture to say that you'd probably find it nearly impossible not to get up and dance to their tunes. They appear often in BA as they're a touring-recording band with an unbelievable horn section, great vocals and great arrangements. Hope some of these suggestions are helpful. DownBA

I am new to the Forum and will be visiting Buenos Aires for the first time in about a month. I was thinking of hiring a translator since my spanish is very poor. I have read many post in this forum and all seem very informative. I will be staying at the Alvear Palace and would like for any one who has stayed or knows something about to respond concerning price in pesos or dollars. I have been to the argentina VIP website and have seen many beautiful ladies. Agostina is one who stands out to me have any of you meet or have any info about her. I live in the US and do these women travel that far. Any information will be greatly welcomed.
