I've read your posts for quite some time now and any fool can you see you know what your doing.
The only point I wanted to make is that we control prices by paying them. If there was scarcity in the market place (we know there is not in BsAs) then rising prices are acceptable. What I think has been happening in BsAs since the crisis is the supply is looking for the pain point of the consumer. You and I both know that the difference between 100 pesos and 120 pesos is negligable to a Euro or Dollar earner. However if unchecked it will become more and more until pain is reached. If you remember El Jefe's original post about Madaho's His emplored us not to pay more than 150 pesos, now 300 has become the standard price and a lot of chicas are trying to get 400. This in a country where the minimum monthly wage is around 500 pesos per month.
I really don't mean to start off the "He paid way too much money" debate because I don't think you did, and if I did it's none of my damn business how you spend your money. A year or so ago, Dickhead and Saint got into all of this. My feeling then and my felling now is you are a grown man and are free to spend what you wish on whatever you wish to spend it on.
My point has always been that with patience and the willingness to say no, you will find what you want for the price you want to pay. I for one refuse to pay more simply because others do and pass. I've never spent a night alone in this beautiful city unless I had practiced, as Brother Exon says, "poor sperm management" and I doubt I ever will unless I choose to. I've always been able to find what I want, for the price I want to pay just by playing the numbers.
All that said, I appreciate your posts and hope your having a blast and I'm mighty pissed off that you are there and I am not.
Had another 2 sessions with this chica. She works late night only. Just has an unnaturally huge ass for such a petite girl. Both times, I went to Santa Fe and brought her back to my apartment. There's no difference in price and it allows the chica to get out of the place for awhile. I'm not going to go into all the sordid details. Well maybe just a couple. Again Im quite concerned about pricing.
My first to B.A. experience was just before the devaulation in Oct. of 2001. the airlines were giving away seats and it was $580 dollars round trip from my home.
Back then it was about $500 dollars a day to have a good time. One peso was equal to one dollar. So when you bought the $12 peso steak at El Parrillion in Recoleta you were really paying $12 US dollars.
After the devaluation I returned and it was hard to spend $150. dollars a day and have the time of your life. The $12 peso steak at El Parrillion was now costing a little over $4 US dollars
Having just returned two weeks ago I find that I was struggling to keep my budget under $200 dollars a day. The $12 peso steak was now costing $28 peso's. The exchange rate was about the same so I was now paying about $10 US dollars for the same steak I was buying for $4 dollars two years earlier.
In reading the Buenos Aires Harold last month I found that the Argentine government was admitting to a rate of inflation of 1.2% per month for January & Febuary or something like 15% a yearly basis. In fact I believe the rate of inflation is much higher, maybe something in the order of 20% to 25%.
My point too all of this brother Mongers is I don't believe we have much more time until Buenos Aires has priced it self out of the market. Our girls are working for a living and they have to raise their prices accordingly to the economy they live in. This inflation is all accross the board, Hotels, Taxi's, Food, Beer everything is substantially up in price.
Buenos Aires won't be there as we have come to know it in two years.

I contend that chica prices go up because so many gringos (of which I am one) refuse to negotiate because realitive to costs in the US and Europe are still cheap. Additionally, mongers refuse to look down the road to the time when they're lack of negotiation and walking away from a few chicas, who quote outrageous prices, will drive prices sky-high. Buenos Aires will be ruined for everyone by these mongers!!!
Read the Costa Rica posts. That place is ruined because of all the Americans who have gone there and paid outrageous prices and now the chicas expect it.
One should remember to define what an reasonable/outrageous price is by the economy they are VACATIONING in and NOT the enconomy they LIVE in.

Each vacation I have walked away from at least 2 super hot chicas because they quoted 200-300 pesos. If more of us did this, Madahos and Black and all the over-priced Recoleta clubs would have to change their business practice.
Forget the $300 US, I think 300 pesos is outrageous. In the states where the cost of living is perhaps five times (??) more expensive, California escorts, from the local websites, go for about $250-$350 (exclusive of the 'premium' chicas). Take 300 divided by 5 and you get $60 or $175 pesos. That would be the maximum range, yet too often I read guys posting how they're paying 300 pesos for every chica and don't give it a thought.
I sure hope Buenos Aires doesn't become like Costa Rica.

She brought along her friend for 100 pesos more, I think. This is the most I've paid in Argentina. Most are in the 80-150 peso range. I'm don't have the drive of Exon or the Mouse, so if I go a few days without, it's no big deal.
I do a lot of buying and selling in my business and I can tell 90% of the time if someone really wants to buy (or sell). If I have lattiude on a discount I'll only give it if I think they won't buy otherwise. The girls are pretty expert at this and can certainly read most guys.
For the value added monger, guys who bring gifts, cook great meals, or practice their ABC's on the chicas, it will make them much more willing to go for less.
I paid a little visit a couple nights ago to Santa Fe 1707. I was greeted at the door by the madame, who was very friendly.
