Hi!
Short but juicy journey last night.
Mondays are usually dead for mongering activity in BA outside Recoleta, and I confirmed it by watching the SW scene in Constitucion and Flores again: Lonely streets.
I went to the JB Justo area (Flores), where I found out that Scorpions and Maraha were closed. These places had Police precints sealing the entrance doors, so I imagine that he Federal Police is closing many pubs with in-house rooms. However, Artigas (Artigas St. and JB Justo Av.) was open.
4 years ago, you would have found there Playboy material by dozens, asking $200 for 1 hour. Yesterday, I saw lame material: Girls with pig legs, rhino bellies and ape faces asking p80 for 30 minutes and p200 for 1 hour (go figure why having 2 sessions with 2 girls cost less than 1 long session...). The decoration and ambience rank among the best in Buenos Aires, but the girls department needs an upgrade. Too bad...
I left the place thinking where to go. I remembered that Salome (Billinghurst St. and Cordoba Av.) uses to host 40 girls, so I headed there. The place has a bar in the first floor and a simulated boat in the basement (the basement has a triangle shape and its walls are covered by wood. It resembles a boat). Most girls were 6s. However, I spotted Debora, my favorite provider.
I should write a book about this girl. Out of the hundreds of girls that I met in this "industry", none of them were as good as her. She is really beautiful, but not a stunner (8 or 9): 5'8", big c-cups, thick lips, nice slim waist and wide and soft butts. And what a soft and fruity skin! She is really charming, always with the best attitude and eager to please. I decided to do my 6th try since 1999 (I seldom go out with the same girl more than twice). p10 my drink, p20 her allowance to leave and p100 for a hotel session. We went to a nearby hotel (p25 the intermediate room). She provided an unlimited load of caresses and kisses (GFE is a small word for her attitude), and then showed her perfect skills in her duties: Excellent BBBJ and incredible FS (never saw a girl moving that way in bed, not even former girlfriends in horny mode!). After that, some massage and chatting. As usual, she never asks for money before, she waits for you to offer it, and no hassle to come back to the bar after the 2 hours expire. Sweet...
Hope to visit some Recoleta places next time

Dear High on Hobbin'
Here are the answers to your questions!
QUESTION: Any preferences between the two periods weather wise or holiday/festival wise? November/December being their summer how warm would it be?
ANSWER: It gets very hot and HUMID in their summer. Better off going in their fall or spring if you can. But on the other hand, if you are from a cold place in the states, maybe the hot weather of BA is just what the doctor would order for you.
QUESTION: Would a side trip from BA to Mar del Plata be a bit too adventurous for a neophyte to Argentina?
ANSWER: ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! Mar Del Plata is a fantastic fucking place! I loved it. Its like a shaggy dog French Riviera city. But it has some fantastic night life, hotels, restaurants, beaches, etc. You will never be bored in MDP nor will you feel like you are on an adventure. MDP was extremely safe and as up to date as BA.
QUESTION: How safe is the 5 hour train ride? By that I mean it's route (considering current economic times) as well as the safety of one's self and luggage. Are the trains similar to Euro trains where you're luggage is overhead and you don't dare fall asleep or it may not be there later? Approximately what would one expect to pay for a round trip train ride compared to a flight?
ANSWER: The train to MDP sucks. Its a slow boat to fucking China and only worth taking for the experience. (It was however extremely safe and dirt cheap---something like 30 pesos for 1st Class which isnt saying much. No AC, putrid bathrooms, extremely uncomfortable seats. If you are expecting Euro trains, then you will be severely dissappointed. The trip seemed like a juorney across Siberia. I STRONGLY SUGGEST TAKING THE BUS OR FLYING. The plane ride takes 45 minutes and is extremey cheap maybe $60 US dollars round trip.
QUESTION: Where is the Hotel Manantiales in relation to the Sheraton and what star rating would you give it?
ANSWER: The Manantiales is a three minute (1.50 peso cab ride) or a ten minute walk. Check out pmy previous post for the web site for rates. I LIKE THE MANATIALES BECAUSE THEY ARE 1 BEDROOM APARTMENTS WITH MAID SERVICE. (You get a magnificient view of the ocean, a great terrace and a nice kitchen).
QUESTION: 700 Internet cafes in MDP?
ANSWER: Yes, they are all the fucking rage, on every block. You literally can't walk one block downtown without passing at least internet cafe. INCREDIBLY CHEAP AS WELL.
QUESTION: How would you split your time between BA and MDP for either a one week or two week trip?
ANSWER: Depends on one's tastes. If I had three weeks in Argentina I would spend 8 days in MDP and 13 days in BA. YOU WILL LOVE THE VIBE IN MDP, but afterall BA is a huge pool of women to chase. MDP only has a few hobby bars (the one near the Sheraton is great!)
QUESTION: Also on the la Plata thread there was mention of a remis. I read this as being a car and driver for hire. How does this work? Costs, contacting, finding reputable remis'?
ANSWER: Sorry dont know. But I assure you that you have no need of feeling anything but relaxed about going to MDP. I was shocked how much it reminded me of Nice, except that I loved it so much more!

L A Larry,
I have been a silent reader of the WSG Argentina posts for quite some time.
I really enjoy your posts.
They are come across as real and feel like a good buddy sitting next to me describing his latest adventure.
Know that there are many who read your posts with appreciation....... albiet...silently.
If the current exchange rate continues. I am very seriously considering BA for my late December.
-
High on Hobbyin,
There's nothing to finding a remis at all. Just ask the receptionist to find a rate to where you want to go, tell her when you want to be picked up and she'll arrange it for you. Every hotel has at least a few remis services that they use. A remis is just a fancy taxi without the meter, like what we'd call a "car service." They're really reasonable there too, but I don't think it'll pay to take one to Mar De Plata but you never know. Happy mongering in the holy shrine of the sport you lucky bastard. Can't wait to get down there again. DownBA

I completely agree with Rickster, I really appreciate LA LARRYs' posts, really enjoiable. Also liked The Saint's posts and comments, very helpful, ... I hope I'll have as much fun as he had, im late 20's too ...
And because I am very confident that the current exchange rate will hold in the next few months, if not years, I have just booked 10 days in BA, end of October, early November, staying in Design Suites .... actually if anybody has info about this cool-looking aoart-hotel it would be really helpfull .... hope they are guest-friendly ..... Anybody going to BA around that time, weather should be warm but not too hot .....
Cheers, Ro

Robroy,
Thanks for those nice words. I know you'll love it. My friend has stayed at Design Suites and loved it. Said the staff was great and chica friendly. He also said they had a nice restaurant downstairs. I think Starfe also checked it out and had good things to say about it. I think the rooms look cool and Starfe's seal of approval peaked my interest. The only negative I have is it's not in Recoleta but there are tons of taxis.
Yes, you are correct. The exchange rate will be good for years and years not months. Their problems are severe. Good luck and have fun!
-
I also like to say thanks to LA Larry, Otto, Saint, Starfe and many, many others. I too, really enjoy reading your postings and the Argentine section for that matter. I think most feel our hobby is a bit on the edge sometimes, but is nice to meet people who are as decent and gentle as I think of myself.
The last time I have been to BA is now more than three years ago and I did visit SHAMPOO at the time. This is a basement nightclub and at the time it was rather expensive. I got the know the black guy at the door who gave me advice when I needed. They had some shows with transsexuals, but the girls in the club were great. I will go back by the end of the year and intend to stay for a year or so. At the time, I stayed at the Intercontinental, which is far from the action. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice hotel, but a hassle to get girls in. (they had to register, again at the time) This time I will take my que from this board.
However, one thing that Starfe wrote made me fall off my chair. He wrote that the "LoiSuites" staff was assisting him in the negotiations with the girls. I have tried to imagine how this worked out and am still breaking my head. Either this is the best hotel in town, or Starfe possesses an alien sort of management authority. In case of the latter, it should be considered being educated amongst business faculties. "The Starfe Style- a comprehensive introduction to hobbying with absolute control"
Best...
-
amsterdamned,
that's the whole truth!!
i speaks nada spanish. i had the staff making appt and telling the girls what i wanted to spend. i plan on staying at the designsuites on my next trip but i also booked the loisuites just in case the staff at design does not meet or beat the lois group attention.
rooms at design were nicer. thats the( executive suite room) was nicer. their smaller rooms were just ok.
lois i think has a better location.

I will be heading down to Buenos Aires on July 30 for 9 days of some serious mongering. I will do my level best to post reports but "events" often have a way of taking over and your time is spend doing other things. However, I take my "responsibilities" to the forum seriously and will make my reports either while I am recovering or in between sessions.
I will be staying in a 1 bedroom apartment 4 blocks from the Etoile. Most of the reports from BA that I've seen here concern hotels so perhaps a report or two on the apartment scene in Recoleta might be of some use to other mongers in their future planning.
LA Larry has talked quite glowingly about Mar del Plata so I have planned a 2 night weekend trip (by air) to MDP. Larry is right the round trip airfares are quite reasonable (171 pesos - all taxes & charges included) and so are the rates at the Manantailes (134 pesos per night - all taxes & charges included). Report to follow.
Hope to meet some fellow mongers down there. If anybody else from the board is going to be there during that time frame drop me a line at tooshman@hotmail.com. It's going to be great.

i'll be in b.a. (on the way to las lenas) end of aug. please advise regarding getting cash from an atm.
atm is the best way to have local cash (better than travelers checks, exchanging currency, even using a credit card for non-girl spends). but unlike all other places, i hear in b.a. the atm's are not functioning and are out of cash.
is this true?
thx!

With reference to Leo's remark and my own preparations for a lengthy stay, I'd appreciate some info on the subject as well. Personally I was thinking of taking a few golden chains and sell a piece every other day or so.
Also I like to add thanks to DownBA and Andres. For Saint I have a question, since he seems eager to move to BA. Is there any business to be conducted under the present circumstances?
-
Hey Toosh--
I wish to Christ I was going to MDP myself.
You will have a fucking blast (although be warned--this time of year down there will be quite windy).
But as long as that hobby bar (100 meters) near the Sheraton is open--then you will been fine.
Here's some more info on MDP, so that you feel comfy.
The airport is very small. I would say that it is a good 15 minute ride to the Hotel Manatiales by taxi.
The Manantiales is about a three minute cab ride into the commerical center of Mar Del Plata. If you want to walk, go along the ocean and watch the fucking waves batter the coast. Very Dramatic.
There is a main street in the commercial center of MDP which is closed to traffic. This street has hundreds of large clothes stores, restaurants, banks, etc. I dont suggest you eat on this street because its essentially just fast food. But this is ground zero of MDP, non-hobby action. This neighborhood is where you will find yourself buying international newspapers, eating, shopping, etc.
Walk around the commercial area on any of the ajoining streets and youll see hundreds (I mean fucking hundreds) of restaurants, internet cafes, rests. and small grocery stores. EXTREMELY SAFE.
WARNING (I just remembered) there is a neon sign of a cocktail glass (it is a hobby bar in the commerical district of MDP.) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, THIS JOINT IS A VERITABLE DOG POUND. The ladies are ragged hags, and should be pensioned off to a whorehouse for the aged.
Stick with the joint I keep touting (whatever the fuck its called!Malojos or Majalocos.) There are some young hotties in this establishment who will truly take care of you. I found these girls (in retrospect) to be much more friendly then the gals in BA. (Less professional in a sense, maybe its the resort like setting that takes the edge off them).
Here's the scoop on the bar. You enter for free but are compelled to buy yourself one drink. To take a gal out it will require that you buy here 2 exit drinks (I think this amounted to around 30 pesos total) and then the girl will cost you 100 pesos. The most I paid was 150 pesos. BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR A BLOND BRASILIAN CHICK WITH 36 DD FAKE TITS and a GREAT ASS AND FACE. She will service you as though the world is coming to an end. She also begged me to fuck her in the ass. Moreover, this gals like you to watch them piss in the bidet.
During the day, if you want to dial up some service from the local newspaper, go right ahead. But you will need to understand that it is an utter roll of the dice...A gambit. But and this is a big BUT, I can attest to the fact that the possibility exists to score a true champion. Just keep saying YO QUIERO UNA CHICA MUY JOVEN Y MUY BONITA! The lady on the phone will say "of course, no problem, we have the perfect girl for you." But its here where you have to show your mettle, respond by calling her a liar "TU ERES MENTIROSA. Its essential that you call the lady a liar so that she knows you mean business. (Ha, ha).
MY SUGGESTION FOR A TWO DAY STAY IS TO AVOID NEWSPAPER ACTION and save your strenght for the hobby bar near the Sheraton.
One last word on the newspaper action in all Argentina. If I had to say a positive word about it---its dirt fucking cheap (there are actually some ads for 15 peso blow jobs: "buscal") and whats really great is that you can flat out ask on the phone if the girl permits anal--as if you were ordering a pizza but first wanted to make sure they had anchovies.
Have a blast!!!

leo,
i got cash when ever iwanted from the atm's

amsterdammed...you have a slim to none chance of selling gold chains in BA...but have a good chance of being robbed if u r silly enough to hold them out to a perspective buyer...
also, Leo, it was my experience that sat,sun and monday till noon almost every cash machine, ATM, that I went to was empty...on 2 weekens I had to go to 8-10 machines untill I got cash...do not put yourself in the position to need cash from an atm on sat sun and mon till noon...this was my experience in the recolletta area from june 5 through the 26th.

That's what I love about this board. It's always good for a few good laughs in addition to helpful information. No disrespect Amsterdamned but I really got a good laugh when I read your comment about selling some gold chains. (I hope you were kidding). People have to realize that the vast majority of people in Buenos Aires are poor. Many can't even buy food... let alone gold chains. Yes, there are people there that are wealthy but they are like the wealthy people here in the USA. They go to the Cartier store or similar type jewelry store in Recoleta for their wears most likely. I agree with Yabba. You'll have more of a chance of getting robbed IMHO.
As to your question about me being eager to move there. YES. I'd love to live in BA someday (at least part of the year). Reality has set in since my trip. It's more of a 5 year plan now. You must be totally fluent in Spanish if you're going to have any kind of business there. That's what I'm doing now. Learning as much Spanish as I can. I can think of a few businesses that might survive down there but it's a tough place right now and probably will be for a while. I found this site below that had some pretty good info on starting a business there. Good luck.

Hi!
A short experience.
On Tuesday, after 10 days going out every single night, I started to feel tired. Then, I decided to do a quickie in downtown and leave the night for light non-pro action.
I wanted to try Mara (a masseuse in downtown: Cordoba Av. and Esmeralda St., Phone 4515-0213), who I couldn't try a week ago. By 5:30 PM, she was available, so I took the 30 minutes session (p40). The girls was really hot: Nice legs, nice bobs, slim body, Paraguayan accent (I guess that all these girls in this MP are from Paraguay). She started with a nice massage with oil, rubbing my back, butts, arms, legs and sensitive parts. After 15 minutes massage, she asked me p10 for getting naked, p30 for naked and CBJ and p50 for FS (but she had the monthly period, so she couldn't do that). I chose the p30. Nice BJ, but since covered, no as great as a BBBJ. I touched her body and felt really smooth and firm at the same time... "Youth, divine treasure"...
One comment about the place: It's clean, but it's very small and the rooms are cabinets made of cardboard, so you can hear everything from other rooms and viceversa. Also, there are only couchs and massage tables, so you cannot have comfortable action as in a hotel.
An average experience.
Hope to report soon about Recoleta.

Larry,
Thanks for the info. Its guys like you, Saint, Otto, Yabba, Starfe, Umgman and others who make planning for this much better than the hit or miss it would otherwise be.
You can rest assured I will hunt down that Brasilian chic. She doesn't realize it yet but she is having a date with a jackhammer in heat.
I loved your comments about the bidet. As Dorothy would say, " We're not in Kansas anymore".
The newspapers and the call up services are plan B if the place near the Sheraton doesn't pan out or is closed. If calling the lady on the phone a liar doesn't get the job done maybe I'll just mosey on down there and bit#! slap her. She'll no doubt love this gringos "machismo" and have her best girl do me right on the spot at ridiculous prices. Hehehehehe.
Seriously, Larry, there is one thing that does concern me and that is something you maybe able to shed some light on. What do you know about the safety of the airlines down there? How did you get to MDP? Would you have any concerns over using one of them? I would appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
Toosh

some feedback on a new business venture PLEASE:
i am having a trenchcoat designed to hold 75 fake gold rolex watches. prices at $125 a piece. i read the report of someone who wants to sell gold chains. i feel its possible to hang outside the better hotels and develop a fairly healthy business if you stay the course. i have seen this done with great success in nyc all the time. i am producing business cards right now, which read
"GOING OUT OF BUISNESS" ( in spanish ).
if there are any 3 card hobbiest out there (find the ace of spades)
we can set up a small KIOSK area. who says the girls are the only ones who can make a little cash. i have never sold jewelry in my life but i will start by learning how these kiosk do it at the malls here in the u.s..
if any other would like to join me in this very lucrative business, please post your ideas and lets go down there and really show them AMERICAN CAPITALISM AT WORK. i have also toyed with the idea of going down with some GINZU knife sets. i already have a trenchcoat designed to carry 62 PO-PEEL POCKET FISHERMAN'S.
I WOULD RENT THIS ONE TO ANY SERIOUS SALESMAN

News Flash From Buenos Aires:
Hey, GREAT DEALS ON ROLEX WATCHES! I bought a genuine, certified Rolex from a fellow selling outside the Etoile Hotel last night, it was only 150 pesos, it came with a Genuine Certificate of Authenticity signed by Pierre Marchand, President of Rolex International himself!
Also, there were some fine deals to be had on gold chains, my street salesman's inventory was all nicely displayed in the inner lining of his overcoat (the small label said "Starfe Fashions, Dallas").
Unfortunately, I had to save my last two 20 peso notes for use at Blacks, one of them for the entrance fee and the other for the girl for the overnighter. She really appreciated the pack of Marlboros I gave to her for the tip!
Went to the ATM this morning to draw out an extra 5 pesos to tip the mechanic at Jorge Newberry Airport before my flight to Salta today, the mechanic, he promised to use only OEM replacement chewing gum for the engine gaskets, gosh I feel much better flying when I tip the ground crew.....
Will report on the action on board the Train to the Clouds in Salta Province, I hear tell there are Indian girls who will service you for 5 pesos at the railway sidings, an extra 2 pesos if you would fancy a throw with the llama too.....

Woo Hoo! I'm headed back to Buenos Aires unexpectedly next month for Labor Day weekend. If anyone else is headed to my favorite city, email me at saintofba@hotmail.com.
I'll probably be staying at Art Suites or Design Suites. Actually Mari from www.argentinago.com has been wheeling and dealing for me with both places. Both places are offering rates lower than their websites with her. I'll see what the final tab is and post it.
I'm not sure if I can offer any more information than last time but I'll sure try. Good luck amigos.

As of July of 2002
Thanks to all who posted good info for your generosity.
Black: a good, fun bar with pretty girls and entertaining shows. The most expensive place in Buenos Aires for the hobby. It´s the only place where I was quoted 100 US dollars for a two hour session. Lots of pretty girls. There can be some pretty hardcore pros, though nowhere near US standards. Drinks are 20 pesos for hombres and 40 to 50 for chicas. Stop by, have a drink, take out a girl. Use it as your yardstick. (Paid for Ad. Brought to you by the Black Consortium.)
Playwoman: In Recoleta, ask any taxi driver. The girls are pretty and their prices can go from 200 to 250 depending on how much they like you. A better value hook up joint than Black.
Sodoma: I had a bad experience at this clip joint. If someone else fared better I congratulate you.
The Suipacha bars: Catto, Hook and Ness. Cruise them quickly in search of your honey, you´ll know her by her hourglass figure and the smile on her face . Prices are cheaper (150 to 200) and the overall quality lower, but there are gems to be found. Good for a change of pace.
Cutty Sark (Morgan merged with this one.) and "Ladies, Ladies" (formerly Bridge Fashion Bar): I walked in, I drank, I left ... alone. Asking price, 150.
Cafe Orleans: I ordered a coffee. I talked to a lady in her thirties with a good haircut and Austin Powers´ teeth. I finished my coffee and left ... alone. She was asking for 200 pesos. The cafe in front of this one was cleaner and empty of chicas.
New Shampoo: reopened a week ago and it shows. I will hold off judgment on this joint. Better to wait a couple of months on this one unless you don´t mind being a pioneer.
My experience is that it is best to go with the vibe. If the vibe is bad, walk away from the chica. If the vibe is great, get her out of the bar as quickly as possible. Keep a happy attitude and treat them like girlfriends, not like you own them for the night. You´ll be better off.

continuing the review
Salome-- The place is packed with locals, some of which have a grope-for-free attitude. Took out a lovely lady for 100 pesos, gave her a genorous tip. Looks 7. Attitude 8. Not a super hot brasilera. She was a sweet argentina.

People:
When traveling to Argentina, keep in mind that we, los argentinos, used to overprice to everyone who doesn't speak spanish (and even if you speak spanish can fall into this trap).
You can get very beautiful girls for less money than 100 u$s the 2 hours. If you can, make friends with a local and let him make the arragements, for better quality and less money...and invite him a drink, if you please :)
Just in case, there is my adress again:

I could use a free whiskey once in a while! :)

Andres,
LA Larry,
and DownBA
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my questions. Sorry, I wasn?t able to respond sooner (visiting relatives). And while I'm at it, may I commend the posters of the Argentine board. This board is extremely informative, has a sense of camaraderie among its posters and has always maintained a sense of dignity and decorum. Thank you all for your perspectives and for expanding mine regarding this great place to visit.
The flight to Mar del Plata sounds like the way to go. Should one buy the flight from here in the States or in BA. I guess the concierge could help get this accomplished? Toosch, how did you get your flight to Mar del Plata as you have not departed yet? Can?t wait to read your upcoming reports on MDP!
Is the heat and humidity of January/February similar to that of the Caribbean? Or are we talking more like Taiwan or New York? Hey, anyone know if there is much of a Mardi Gras in BA or MDP? I can't remember anyone discussing that on this board.
LA Larry, I did try the Manantailes' web site but the English portion was quite limited. Will have to return and go through it page by page in English using Babel fish over the weekend.
DownBA, thanks. I don't plan on taking a remis to MDP. I simply saw it mentioned in the University town of La Plata's thread. I thought that LA Larry had used the term in his exploration of La Plata and I was curious...
I'm still curious as to what attire to bring? I understand it will be warm down there, but I seem to remember the archives recommending a coat and slacks in Blacks. Is this still suggested? How about most of the other bars? What attire do most Argentine men wear to the restaurants mentioned?
Again, thanks for everyone?s input!
Saint,
I believe I read that you were considering traveling to Brazil. FYI- I don?t? believe I?ve read anything about this on the Brazil board, so here?s a slightly out of date heads up. The State Department?s travel advisory (10/09/01) warns of Mickey Fin Girls in Sao Paulo (http://travel.state.gov/brazil.html). Also if anyone wants read up on a possible travel local, the CIA?s website has a World Fact Book that gives great background on a county (http://www.cia.gov/).

Dude Mariscal I could use a ton of Whiskeys for my input in Lima Peru. Well Also since I should be in B.A. In the 2nd week of august since I contribute like crazy to The WSG Forum. How about a few rounds of drinks for me Mariscal? Actually Jackson too deserves some free rounds of drinks too. Sorry Dude I know it is hard for you guys Argentenians now, Regards NIBU R. P:s. What is now the Peso to the dolar more or less for the month of august? Are all the banks still closed? P.S. What about a Lenghty Streewalker update? Also Boris where are you? L.A. Larry see my recnt post in Uruguay.

Nibu,
As of today the Peso is 3.6 to 1 Yanqui dollar.
And for all you fellows buying drinks, I don't drink whiskey, I drink gin! ;-)

High on Hobbyin',
I sincerely recommend that you not make the same mistake I did and not book your ticket to MDP as far in advance from the US as possible. I flew to San Miguel de Tucuman in northern Argentina and I bought the ticket one day in advance on an Argentinean commuter airline and I paid dearly for this. My Argentinean friends told me that if I had booked two weeks in advance I would have paid about $150 US round trip to Tucuman but instead I paid about $350 due to not having a 14 day advance. So yes, look into this in advance by all means. Also, don't forget that there isn't only one Argentinean commuter airline by any means, there's some competition here, so don't think you have to settle for the first fare you hear.
Also, re attire for the chica clubs in BA, I can't attest for Blacks since I never went there but I can safely tell you that in Playwoman you don't need to put on fancy clothes, you mainly need to have enough pesos or US$ in your pocket and probably a pulse and a heartbeat would help too. I'm not saying to go in like a slob either, but as long as you're neat and respectable I'm quite sure jeans and a nice polo shirt would be just fine in Playwoman and probably most other chica clubs. A for restaurants, BA is a fairly unassuming place and while most of the people dress nicely, don't ever think you can't go casually to most of the restaurants except maybe the very high end ones. There are a million very down to earth "parilla al carbon" places, the Argentinean mixed beef grill places, they're literally on every corner and most of these places are extremely casual.
I envy you buddy to be going there to the promised land so soon, wish I could schedule a trip in soon but at the moment it's simply not in the cards.
Buen provecho in MDP and BA High!! DownBA

Greetings from BsAs all,
Starfe, I have not seen DesignSuites precisely during this trip down here, but I know the general area it is located - it is very safe in the Recoleta area. I am out and about on the streets late at night, I've never had a real worry.
Antonio Banderas is down here filming a movie; he was quoted in the local press as saying that BsAs is safer than New York or Los Angeles. I wonder how he says this, when he is likely escorted around town with an entourage, maybe the paparazzi here are less obnoxious than in the States.
As for dress codes - I think it is a good thing to dress well here, as with anywhere. Why look like a slob when just adding a sport coat and a decent pair of shoes will make you look like a million dollars?
Finally - DownBA's story about plane fares strikes a memory. if I were traveling by plane here, I think I would try to contact a local travel agency to do the arrangements. I checked on air fares between BsAs and Mar de Plata on-line, and the fares began at about $70 one way. However, a local I know recently bought a one way ticket two days in advance for 70 pesos - a 75% savings. As a gringo I would have no idea how to do this, but I think a travel agency would.

Hi!
Last experience of my trip.
On Monday, I had my last free night for mongering in BA. As I explained before, people don't use to go out very much on Sundays and Mondays, and this Monday wasn't the exception.
First, I went to Sodoma by midnight. The place was almost empty for what it used to be: Only 20 chicas, most of them of average looking (no one stunner spotted). Prices were the same as in December: p18 for monger's drink, p60 for chica's drink and leave, and p100 for the girl (assuming 90-120 minutes of service). Left the place and walked around the corner to Solid Gold.
Solid Gold seemed better in women's quality. I saw a pretty girl called Sabrina (nice legs and butts) who asked p100 for a 2 hr session. Driks were same price as in Sodoma. Left the place and took a cab to the Suipacha and Paraguay streets area.
First place to visit there was Hook. Hook seems to have mostly foreigners (Paraguayans and Brazilians). Some girls were really pretty, but the ambience was lame: Only a handful of customers. Saw a nice and slim Paraguayan girl called Mireya. Left the place to go to Ness.
Ness sucked. Less than 8 girls and a mourning ambience. I was about to leave when I saw I girl who tried 3 years ago called Karen. She put the extra mile trying to convince me in going out. She was extremely carming, although I remembered that the previous experience with her was substandard.
Anyway, she worked out the circumstances to convince me and succeeded. She asked p150, but I set it to p100 without much negotiation. Karen is realy pretty. As many girls from the Misiones province, she has a mildly dark skin (kind of light cinnamon), dark eyes, thick lips and great body: Big natural boobs, slim waist and round, firm butt. We went to the 3 Sargentos Albergue Transitorio and had a nice session: BBBJ, FS, greek, some massage. The only problem with this girl is that she likes to call other friends and ask the concierge for food. Personally, I don't like people eating in the bed.
Well... a nice experience, nothing unforgettable but not avoidable either.
Now I'm back in the States. I hope to come back to BA in December and inform about other places if possible (heard that Yamila in Pavon Av. and Galicia Av., Avellaneda, is scheduled to reopen in September).
Hope this helps.

Andres!
I had to really laugh when I read your report. (And please take what I am about to say in a joking spirit).
You had a session with what seemed like a very hot young girl that included BBBJ and GREEK---all for Under $30 US dollars and you dare to complain about the poor gal eating in bed!!! (She probably was a sweetheart too!)
You are a real stickler Andres! God Bless you.
Right now I am in goddamned Moscow and I would kill--well maybe not kill but--maim for one of those fun loving, fancy free BA chicks.
The thing that will eternally strike me about the BA Bar scene is the fact that you go out and score one of these chicks in a night club setting and then when you leave together (in 97% of the cases) the girls act supremely cool for the next two hours. Almost as if you had actually picked them up under normal circumstances. As if they were amatuers!
Come to think of it--these pro BA girls behave better than 99% of the amatuer girls you might be so lucky to score (if such a thing were possible).
Ask yourself the following question:
How many times in your (amatuer) life have you gone into a nightclub and picked up a beautiful 21-24 year old girl and then brought her home for 2 hours of sex that included BBBJ and GREEK?
That, my friends, is why South America is heaven on earth.

Otto,
Remember I tried to hook your friend that likes gorgeous 30 something chicas up with a BA chica from Mendoza province? Just that curiosity is killing this cat and you or your friend never told me if a connection were ever made and if so if it were a satisfying one. If this is completely foreign to you please email me at LLLLLNNNNN@aol.com and I'll refresh your memory of the details. Otherise, pray tell, post here how your friend liked this chica that I rave so much about? Thanks, DownBA

I going down again. Does anyone have a recommendation for a two girl BBBJ?

Hello to all from Buenos Aires. I have just finished my first complete day here and it has been as good as I thought it would be.
Let me begin by saying that I am very hungover. It was a good night so please excuse me if my posts are not up to Otto´s high standards.
The apartment I am staying at is on Quintana Ave. It is located 3 blocks down from the Etoile. The is no sign on the building so from the street is looks like just another building. It has a doorman and 24 hour security. Mayra at argentina.com booked it for me (its on their web page).
The apartment is fairly depicted on their web page. However, there are parts of it that could use a coat of paint. It is a nice place in an excellant neighborhood (as is all of Recoleta) and I would have no problem staying here again. The cleaners across the street makes it very convenient.
The apartment also has a decent kitchen in it but it is long and narrow. I went to the liqour store and the local supermarket named DISCO (real name) and stocked up on things for me and the Chicas. So far they love it.
I spend most of the first day sleeping from the overnight flight to BA. How can anyone sleep well in an airplane seat? I woke up at 10 PM just in time to get ready for my first night. I decided to walk by the Etoile to check it out before going to Playwoman. Just as I started to pass by all the outside cafes I literally bumped into an absolutely gorgeous 30ish woman with a low (I mean low) cut dress. She could not help noticing me noticing her tits. She did not speak English that well but it did not take long before it became apparent that she was an independant working girl.
Before you know it we were back at my apartment. When she began to take her clothes off my knees buckled. What a body!!! Some of the best thighs I´ve ever seen on a woman and I am a leg man. Her body was as nice as Pamela Anderson back in her Baywatch prime. We went at it for the better part of two hours. I will forever remember her ¨much milk¨comments concerning me. She wanted 150 pesos. I gave her 200 and got her number. I´ve got to have some more of that.
After Carla it took me maybe 15 minutes to decide I was still going to go to Playwoman. When I got there I decided to just sit at the bar for a while and check things out. This strategy lasted maybe 2 minutes until an extremely pretty blonde walked over and asked me (in good English) if I liked what I saw. ¨God Damn right,¨was my response. Before I knew it we were in a nearby motel going at it like it was our last fuck in this world. When we finished she insisted we go back to Playwoman and I get a drink they owed me. What customer service!
I kept telling myself to develope some discipline here and just sit at the bar for a while and check things out. Again, that strategy lasted for about another 2 minutes. This time a stacked brunette from Paraquay undid my strategy on the spot. Perhaps the bulge in my pants was giving me away but it didn´t take much convincing for me to take her back to the apartment for the rest of the night. We fucked until about 7 AM and by that time I was really spent. She could drink pretty good too as she pretty much single handedly finished my vodka off. She put me out 200 pesos.
Perhaps I over did it on my first night but what the hell I am on vacation and I´ve got the rest of the day to sleep it off. Tonight I will go to Blacks (God help me - get some damn discipline).
Notes and observations:
Use Mayra at argentina.com. She booked my trip to MDP on short notice (less than 6 days) and my round trip air to MDP was $48.00 (US dollars). SHE CAN HELP YOU. Saint also highly recommends her as well.
There are a lot of very attractive women walking around Recoleta (of all ages) The women here dress very well and look very classy. Maybe its just the neighborhood but Amercian women sure could take a lesson or two from Argentinian women. Ay carumba.
Wish I had taken my high school and college Spanish more seriously. I would love to just hit on the local women here. I have the feeling I could score with quite a few of them.

Great posting. You're the next Tio Otto:-)
Please let us know particularly about Blacks in detail.
Prices, dress code, comparison with playwomen, etc.
Are we talking real Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model10's?, GFE?

Way to go Toosh! What a first day in "heaven". I remember my first day in Buenos Aires. My buddy and I were checking in at the Etoile and we both saw this super hot Playboy model type brunette walking with American slob and we know we were gonna love B.A.
I plan on checking out some new places when I'm there at the end of this month. I am going to try to hook up with Mariscal too when I'm there. I'll buy him a whisky but you should all know he was kidding with his post about the drink.
I am also planning to go to Mar Del Plata (although it will be warm when I go). I'm very interested in hearing how you like it. I just confirmed my reservations with Mayri for hotel. I got a rate of $70 US (21% tax included for the cash rate at Art Suites). I also was quoted a rate of $60 US + 21% tax for Design Suites through Mayra "Mayri".
Have a great trip Toosh!
P.S. Toosh isn't kidding about brushing up on your Spanish. Mine sucked while I was there and I still ended up meeting a normal girl. Since returning home my spanish has greatly improved. I met a normal girl from the internet that I'll be meeting while down there too. I found the people of B.A. to be very friendly to Americans. They are a very warm and affectionate society. Even with ZERO Spanish you can have a great time but I really believe communicating with the girls enhances the experience ten-fold. I still maintain that a blind man could find what he is looking for in BA.

"Translations"
In some ads on the Argentinian Escort Sites, the descriptions can inlcude
"Solo para exigentes' meaning, "if you are demanding then we'll have an understanding". In what way do they mean "demanding"?
Also,
"servicio completo" - one of the sites has many ladies offering that. In other countries that means anal, and is typically rarely offered. But it seems to be a fairly frequent offer on the BA escort sites. Any ideas here?

lotsafun:
I think better translation for "Solo para exigentes" is "Only for those with high standards".
As far as "servicio completo", you're right, it means that she will serve you orally, vaginally, and anally, thus the use of the word "complete". Also, don't be shy about asking girls who don't advertise this service on their ad if they are willing to do it.
I've had some of the best anal service in BA from girls who didn't advertise it on their ad but were willing to do it for some extra cash (50 pesos seems to be the going increment to their normal rate for this service). One example of this is Lorena from the Platynum site. She doesn't advertise it on her ad, but she will also provide "servicio completo" for an extra 50 pesos. She's actually a brazilian girl from Sao Paulo living in BA. And btw, those nice breasts on her pictures are 100% silicone-free.
