Greeting gentlemongers,
I am new to the Argentina site and have so far found a lot of interesting stories and advice. Thanks to Jackson and all the others for putting this resource out there. I am visiting BA Feb. 4th through the 11th. And I would like to invite any fellow travelers and or BA residents to a few afew drinks out on the town. We can trade stories and experiences. I saw there was a dinner in December I am sorry to have missed it. Maybe we can do another dinner in Feb.
Jackson do you have a monthly guild meeting?
LOL!
Here on my own at the moment. Will be here from 26jan till. Perhaps around the 3rd? Who knows. Anyone interested in hooking up for a drink drop me a line.
Dacian
I am in town from now on until April 1st. Anyone wants to hook up, please pm. I am, however, quite busy, and in the provinces Mon and Tue, but at least a night or 2 "with the boys" and don't forget the girls would be great.
See you,
El Alemán
I will be in BA this week from the 29th till the 7th. I was wondering if anyone knows what the scene is like in BA for live music and bands.
Hi Guys,
This Monday,26th of March at 21:00 I'll celebrate my Birthday with the ones who are in town.
We'll meet for dinner at: MORICHU restaurant on Honduras 5720 (cross street Bonpland) in Palermo area.
King Jackson; the Myth, Mr. Exon123; the Legend, El Aleman; a Gentleman, and the new and nice guys in town!
The table will be in my name Roxana, so I'll wait for you to share a great night in Buenos Aires.
Kisses,
Roxanne
I wish I could be there again. Have Jackson pat you on your ass for me.
Thanks to everyone who has previously posted, this seems like an informative and generally civil site. This will be my first time in BA, I will be looking for lady friends but also trying to find my grandfather's old office when he lived in BA and take in some of the history. (Argentina granted my grandfather a passport when he basically became a stateless person) If you are ever in the SF Bay Area and you wish to know about the scene in SF please PM me, I am very familiar with the "lay" of the land here. I hope to meet some of you when I am down there.
Scheduled to arrive in BA May 31st for only 4 nights. So with that said, I will have to spend my time wisely. Any suggestions.
23 yr old I'm BA from 5/1 to 5/5. Let me know if anyone wants to scope out the chica situation conmigo.
New to the board, but a frequent flyer.
Any cool guys wanna chill, pickup pros and nonpros alike?
As usual I went nuts researching my best options. Ba won I'm there from may 16 till the 10th of June. A very long time if you ask me but then its time to hunker down during the summer months. The news is already reporting all kinds of new stress tactics the airlines will use.
I had a chance to get airfare on LAN for $851 roundtrip from NYC on expedia of all places but my hotel didn't confirm till later. I bought the ticket and travel protection for $986 total. Not bad when LAN. Com is charging 1,123 and higher.
I'm a privado guy. No matter what privado I go to if there is meat for 20 pesos I can find use for it. If I can't you know its chopped liver.
Cheers

Generally, I prefer to credit to a US mileage plan, although you can credit most LAN flights to American Airlines.
I've got two free tickets waiting for me when I get back so the miles will mean nothing to me. LAN provides really good service and numerous movies to watch. Plus I get to load up on "tejas" at the lima airport.

I've only taken LAN to Lima before, and thought the service up front was decent, but about average of Latin American Airlines. (I've flown Taca, Lacsa, LAN, TAM, GOL and Copa) Delta had a $370 RT fare out of NYC to Sao Paolo last night. The cheapest I've seen in quite some time.
