I hate comparing places but let's face it....sometimes we do compare apples to oranges. Just a fact of life. I stand by what I wrote. San Jose sucks. I'd rather stay at home alone then go there again.

I have to second what Saint said about BA. I'm here now and it's such a fantastic city. I sessioned a lot my first week, but have slowed way down since. Mainly because the city itself is as compelling as the women. The architecture, cafe's and rhythm of this place is intoxicating. I'm doing all I can to try and live here part time.
In fact, over the past few days, Saint has been kind enough to let me tag along with him while he hunts for apartments. It's been a good education on what's available here and a great opportunity to get to know a terrific guy. Saint isn't your standard monger. He's an intelligent, sophisticated and well traveled gentleman. His advice comes with a lot of experience.
If you are just looking for a warm body to rub up against, many places will suffice. If you want an experience that will satisfy your libido but also enrich your life, I highly recommend a trip to BA. It is a world class city.

Question: Average Prices for current Internet Ladies at BA?

As you most probably know, next to Quality, an equally important issue is Pricing. That is the famous Q/P ratio.
Preparing an unexpected trip to BA, reading through all your wonderful reports, planning to sample BA diversity in terms of clubs, boliches, cafés and internet girls (freebie maybe if I can find the time and opportunity), my attention got puzzled by a pricing issue.
If many mongers are happy to mention the price they got for a Candy from a club, boliche or cafe, there are rather very few mentions of prices about internet girls. Therefore I inquired around, both within and out the WSG-Forum.
By the way, thanks to Mongers who already answered me. A personal email of appreciation will soon follow.

Now, when you click on “Profiles”, appears a new window where some girls (not all) advertise their prices, which among them look fairly standard. Prices are mentionned in $. There is no precision about what kind of dollars, but as it is about prices in Argentina, everyone would reasonnably expect that their are AR$, wouldn’t he?
Now, in the left hand-side column, click on the obvious link to “Information”. A few lines done, the second intention of the website states: To not profit in any way from visitors.
Now, again in that left-hand-side column, at the full bottom, click on “Utilities”. Then, on the new webpage, scroll fully to the bottom, and click on “FAQ’s” : Useful info when you have in mind a date or travel.
Scroll down and down again, until the third and last chapter “ESCORTS”, and look at the 7th statement saying: “The stated fees are guidelines only and expressed in US dollars.”
This important information, so hidden from our view??? - This looks like quite misleading to me. Fortunately, they say that these prices are guidelines only...
Thus, it looks like that it is up to the monger to bring these prices down to a reasonnable level, isn’t it? - See the attached table, comparing the offered prices and the demanded prices.
So, I shall try to pay these reasonnably expectable prices and will keep you informed with a due report. Should you know possibilities for lower expectable prices, please email me.

My first real mongering destination was Costa Rica, so I'll admit that it's one of my favorites. It is a quite small country, and very different from BA.
Most of the guys who hate SJO are people who went to the Del Rey, ran into the shemales in the Parque Morazon and such. There is a lot more to Costa Rica than a few blocks in the middle of San Jose.
I've had 2 out my 5 best chica experiences in CR. Tied with Argentina, as a matter of fact. Thailand takes third place.
Traffic can be bad in CR, San Jose is an OLD city. I feel a lot safer there, than say, Detroit, Miami or Newark though.
Some of the places (Zona Blue and Idem) are top notch places in my personal experience. Not a 5 star location or room, but very nice girls, very willing to do what you want at a reasonable price ($40-$50 for an hour). You can also find nice girls for $10, $20 and $30 for a short time workout.
Some guys love Panama, some DR, and I'll agree that Argentina is one of (if not THE) best places to stay and have some fun. I personally like to try a little bit of everything, dim sum style. :)

Now, I may not have had the opportunity to visit BA thus far but from what I've been reading on this forum, it almost appears that chicas in BA average out to be about the same as in Bangkok, Saigon and Hanoi. There are less expensive places like Phnom Penh, Surabaya, etc but quality comes into play here.
Don't get me wrong, I have worked, lived and played for more than 20 years in SE Asia and from what I've been reading so far, I'd trade a place with any of you guys anytime.

Don't tell that to an Argentine. Pres. Kirchner got in trouble for saying a lot less than that. Face it, BA is a great town if you have the dollars and the time. For most portenios, life is a hurried scared life. People should be careful when going outside the Recoleta area (well patrolled for tourists).

Ive Mongered pretty much everywhere but Brazil and have no desire to go there.
There are two reasons. Brazil has a high crime rate which Im afraid of and two, from what Ive heard it doesn't have the night life that Buenos Aires does. The restruants, clubs so on. Plus its a world class city, (my favorite) with shopping, site seeing and of course Mongering.

You are making a mistake by not visiting Brazil. The sex scene there is better, in my humble opinion. Judging from your posts the sex scene is very important to you. And forget about the high crime rates. Unless you are living there you are unlikely to experience it unless you are being foolish. I've had my best experiences in BA with girls from Brazil. Anyway, you won't lose any sleep by not visiting Brazil but don't rule it out. You have no desire to go there probably because you haven't been there. Some guys might not like Rio but so far I only know a few that don't particularly like it. They prefer a more upscale environment and BA is great for that.
I have seen girls in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, USA, Cuba, Curacao, UK, Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Czech Republic and the best sex by far was in Brazil.

Rio and Sao Paulo are not BA by any stretch of the imagination. That being said though, the Brazilerias have the market cornered for their love of sex and their zest for life. They are unbeliveable.

I second your opinion about Rio being safe. I have been in Rio for about two months now and have travelled in Bus and taxis until even after 2:00 am. In my opinion Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon are as safe as any other comparatively populated urban city of U.S. or for that matter any other city in the world.
I can not compare the sex scene between Rio and BA because I have never been to BA but I can surely vouch that Rio girls know the best possible way on how to please a man. I have visited Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket in the last 6 month period and in my opinion Rio is even better than Thailand.
I will be in BA for a few days. I have plenty of info on pro scene based on this board. But, I am the guy who likes to go out clubbing (make up my lost time in college). There are very few reports on the regular club scene in BA. Maybe most of BA guys are not into that. I will check out a few clubs when I am there. Even though the chance to pick up any regular girls is very small or null, I just enjoy the scene. At the end of night, there are plenty of sure things around anyway.
If anyone has been to following places, please share your experience.
High-End clubs: "Rivera Este" and "El Santo" in Costanera, "Asia de Cuba" and "Opera Bay" in Puerto Madero and "Buenos Aires News","Sahara" in Recoleta.
After work place: "Kilkenny" and "Down Town Matias", both Irish pubs in the Retiro. "Spill cafe" Puerto Madero. "World Sports" and "Buller" (has its own beer) in Recoleta.
A low-end club: “Job”. I heard this is a good place to pick up easy girls. So, I am definitely going to hit this joint. Have no idea where it is. I hope that I can find it.

The BA non-pros in the nice clubs are not too much different than a lot of cities around the world. Sure, it's easier than the USA/Europe but don't just think because you are a foreigner they are going to be creaming in their pants. Just ain't the case from what I see. The same thing in other areas applies to girls here. Your age, your looks, the way you dress, your style, personality, sense of humor, the way you treat them and most importantly your ability to communicate with them (i.e. you need to be able to speak Spanish at least conversationally with them) and be able to hold a conversation.
I haven't been to all of those places you mentioned but I have been to a few of them. In places like Asia de Cuba there are a lot of model types so unless you are picking up girls back home fairly easily it won't be so easy here. Many of these girls are really stylish, cultured and educated. Many of them have family money and been around money. They have been wined and dined by the local playboys with money.
I'd say you'll have an easier time with normal girls in everyday places like restaurants, the mall, working in shops, etc. I didn't even notice the other day but a girl slipped a piece of paper into my jacket pocket with her cellphone number. Her name is Marisol. I'd call her but I don't know if she is cute or not and I don't know where I was when she put it in there. Oh well.
The girls from normal everyday places are for the most part working their asses off for not a lot of money. Many of them have never been to a nice restaurant or given too much special attention. I suggested to one guy done here talking to this girl in the mall that he thought was cute. He did and he went on a few dates with her. Most of them live far outside of the Capital. A good idea is to do something special. Tell her you really want to see her and you will send a car for her to pick her up for a date. This way she doesn't have to take a bus/metro an hour to get into town. Stuff like that really makes them melt. None of the local guys do things like that. (and I suspect most Americans don't either). Just hire a taxi or remise by the hour and it will be cheaper. I have a lot of stuff in my "playbook" that is just one of them.
Just remember that there is a reason these "nice girls" are working their asses off for 500 or 600 pesos a month when they could be making 500 to 600 pesos a night working in the sex industry. Simply put... they don't want to do that to themselves and they would rather work making almost nothing than doing that. What that translates into is that you probably won't get laid the first date. And when you do get laid the sex can't compare to the pros. It is crude to say but it's true. Of course, that won't be the case with every girl but it's a good rule of thumb.
Make yourself stand out and you should do ok. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
